Today and tomorrow we have Sun septile to Saturn, with Neptune still septile Pluto and Mars in an exact Yod, or Finger of God, with Jupiter in close sextile to Pluto. The Neptune septile Pluto is the basis of the Grand Irrationality, and is triggered by planets in early Scorpio, so get ready for major developments a few weeks down the road. The Sun septile Saturn shows that our lives have hit a fork in the road relative to Saturn in Leo, an important development where rationality will not be as important as choice, root knowledge, and willingness to step up to the plate in the near future. Sometimes when things seem to be breaking down, the best thing we can do is move boldly into a new archetypal role. This influence will pass quickly, but will yield tremendous results in November, another major fork in the road of this particular form of unfolding "destiny."
The Yod is a long term influence. I've explained the Yod effect before in this article and this one, where I elaborate on several points at this time when there are various Yods in play. As I wrote in one of the articles, "the major influence is the month long Mars quincunx Jupiter in the last decan (third) of Libra, the zone of "Expiation." Expect some major karmic adjustments after September 10th, with past deeds and misdeeds being balanced out in some fairly dramatic ways. The Yod is closest beginning the second week of September and lasts through the end of September." These are forcing all of us to make sacrifices. Some sacrifices are important for our well being, while others just involve dropping things and behaviors that have already run their course in our lives.
The main energies involve Mars as the nozzle for the Jupiter-Pluto aspect, which overall shows that whatever we must give up will help us focus our efficiency to find a perfect balance or rhythm to what we must push forward in our outreaching opportunities. This does show that we probably all have more to do than our ability to handle all of it, and so adjustments are being made in what you do, how you do it, and when you do it. It forces adjustments in the Aries and Scorpio sectors relative to the Sagittarius and Pisces sectors, and since the quincunx is waning, we will all no doubt go through losses that will help us reposition ourselves in our values, resources, what we have, and how we use it.
For each sign, whether your Sun sign or Rising sign (Ascendant):
Aries: Your self-image is adjusting your future and your motive, or these are adjusting your desires and magnetism. Whatever changes your partner is going through are rewards for their idealism. Make whatever resource adjustments you need to, and remember a happy friend is a charming friend. Financial disputes will go nowhere, so don't go there.
Taurus: You're being pushed in ways that may be uncomfortable for you, but you were warned some time ago, and now you must allow yourself to move. If you can see this as a time of closure and preparing for new initiatives in December, you'll avoid getting hassled as you reap rewards for who you've been the past two years.
Gemini: This is a great time to find new forms of self-expression and getting re-connected with yourself and your playfulness. There are forces beyond your control that will move you into new friendships and group work if you stop being stubborn. Make adjustments to protect your health - no fixed attitudes will do.
Cancer: If you get focused, you'll find friends and allies who are reliable. You may have to go slightly in a different direction to achieve your public goals. Curb pleasures, excess intensity that creates quarrels with associates. You're about to receive rewards for your creativity, your balanced approach, and your ability to do things economically.
Leo: You're on stage, so accept the visibility pleasantly. You're filled with big ideas that need to be rounded out so that others can grasp your balanced perspective. Deep seeds are being planted in your children; follow your creativity and continue to work at giving up extraneous philosophical musings and toxic feelings concerning relatives or your past.
Virgo: Stop seeing so many points of view, and simplify your vision so you can quickly move in a rewarding direction freed of excess baggage. Express yourself straightforwardly and praise others for jobs well done rather than criticize for what should have been done better but wasn't. Be fair, just, and charming to find new sources of income.
Libra: Well, something's got to give, since you can't do all of what you need to do all at once. If you're in a dispute over shared wealth or social values, see what is simple and drop everything unnecessary to focusing your penetrating insight on the seeds of your most rewarding future. Your partner will soon be given a chance to show their expertise.
Scorpio: Let go of obsolete ways of looking at wealth, and as long as you have dues to pay, try not to get too annoyed with others. They just want to cruise along, and don't really need you pushing them. Then again, this is a great time to simplify your relationships to make them more enjoyable for the both of you, as long as you don't butt heads.
Sagittarius: Take care of your health. Not tomorrow, today! Give up all that throws you off balance, especially old pleasures that no longer appeal to you, or old motives around wealth and possessions that no longer apply to who you've recently become. Adjustments in the home should be economical and tasteful. Who says improvements must be expensive?
Capricorn: It's time for you to give up your tenativeness and express yourself more naturally. Keep it simple and enjoyable, and you'll find that others think better of you without you ever having to do that much to achieve it. You're much more powerful than you think, but need to adjust yourself to your family and friends, not vise-versa.
Aquarius: A more beautiful vision beckons, but you'll have to adjust your methods if you want to achieve it. Be less theoretical, and rethink some of your bottom line needs and assumptions, since there are things about your interpretations and sense of direction that can be simplified to help you capture the rewards you want.
Pisces: If you feel misunderstood, find a new way to view the movie and you'll see things in an entirely different light. Make changes in how you communicate, and big rewards will be yours. You have the power to be very charming at present, and others will feel generous toward you, as long as you don't bog down in stubborn assertions.
