As you know from previous posts, due to the on-going Neptune septile Pluto we have been in the midst of what I have termed "The Grand Irrationality." This is producing greater irrationality and weirdness on a global level than at any time since it last happened during the '30s with the rise of Fascism and other authoritarian models. Jupiter's station at 9 Virgo in May 2004 established 3 points of the Great Septile pattern, and created some hot zones in our charts wherever these points fall. Roughly, they involve 7-11 Virgo, 29 Libra-3 Scorpio, 19-23 Sagittarius, 11-15 Aquarius, 3-7 Aries, 25-29 Taurus, and 15-19 Cancer. Since then the pattern has advanced about 2 to 5 degrees even though the original spans were heavily activated these past 5 months. Wherever they occur in our charts we have made crucial choices that set our lives and future into dynamic motion. We have had to learn a greater maturity, how to set clear boundaries, and take responsibility to choose what we will be limited by, or not. This is due to the Saturnian nature of the Septile series, derived from the division of the circle of 360 degrees by 7, yielding non-rational values. The Septile, Biseptile, and Triseptile all have their unique function in the span of aspects, and definitely indicate major turning points, or life changing relationships and activities.
To continue what I wrote before, "Any planets in your chart that fall near these points has been activated by major irrationality during the past year. Any time we've had a transit of these points, it has triggered the pattern. Septiles, biseptiles, and triseptiles all deal with the irrational, 'destiny producing' forks in the road we all confront at various times of crisis and decision. While each aspect has its unique function within the series, they all show as obsessive-compulsive urges, experiences, and interactions at the ego level, and major points of choice and irrevocable change in our lives on a dharma level.
More on the larger pattern later in this article. Right now, and for the next two months, we will be dealing with Saturn and Uranus being in the triseptile aspect. This is an interactive irrationality, and produces pioneering cooperative-collective efforts that may make no sense at the time, but create movements of groups that influence the world. The lower manifestation is lots of obsessive compulsive activity among and between people. Many of the pioneers of television had triseptiles in their charts, for one example. It was a crazy, compulsive experiment when it started, with people coming from many areas to create an entirely new medium "flying by the seat of their pants."
Over the next two months the binding force (Saturn) will be in this angle with the revolutionizing force (Uranus) which guarantees a tremendous amount of uncertainty, craziness, and general irrationality. These are not specifically in irrational relationship with the Grand Irrationality indicated by Neptune and Pluto, but they do add another layer of non-rational energy to the prevailing condition.
Major turning points, forks in the road, and critical decisions will be experienced by those with planets around 7-9 Pisces, 29 Aries-1 Taurus, 21-23 Gemini, 12-13 Leo, 3-5 Libra, 24-26 Scorpio, and 15-17 Capricorn. This affects the Sun of those born the end of February, April 17-20, June 10-13, August 1-3, September 24-26, November 14-17, and January 3-6.
This means that other planetary transits during this time will trigger this pattern, bringing another layer of irrationality to the prevailing larger atmosphere of irrationality. Expect things to get pretty hectic these next two months, especially November 14-23 when the Sun occupies the Scorpio span and Venus is in the Capricorn span. The specific hot zone will be November 17-18 when the Moon is in the Gemini span, thus stimulating 5 points of this "Seven Point Star Pattern."
Late November is also a major hot zone with Moon and Mercury in the Scorpio span quickly followed by the Moon in the Capricorn and Pisces spans in early December. Expect things and people to feel fairly strange, since it's a time of critical forks in the road where reason may not be enough to make sense of what's going on or why. This Saturn-Uranus irrationality will give way at the end of December to the Yod formed when the New Moon in Capricorn sextiles Uranus, with Sun, Moon, and Uranus quincunx Saturn. But let's return to the larger on-going Neptune-Pluto irrationality.
As I've written before, it most affects Sun signs in the degree spans in the first paragraph. Those of you born the first week of September, late October early November, mid-December, early February, late March, mid-May, and early to mid July have been most heavily affected the past few years. Due to where Neptune and Pluto advanced to since then, you can extend the time spans a little. It especially is freaking out people with Pluto, Uranus, or Saturn in these degree spans, since Pluto and Uranus show forces "beyond our control," and Saturn symbolizes the lessons we MUST learn, whether we want to or not.
For Pluto, it now affects all those born between mid 1926 through late 1931, late 1961, mid July 1962-mid 1964, early 1983, Oct 1983-Nov 1985, and those born now, since Pluto is currently in that span. For Uranus, it affects those born April 1928-Sep 1928, Feb 1929-Mar 1930, mid 1940, mid and late 1941, Mar-Jun 1942, Dec 1942-Mar 1943, Aug 1952-Jan 1953, May-Aug 1953, Dec 1953-Jun 1954, Oct 1963-Feb 1964, Jul 1964-Jul 1965, Nov 1974-Apr 1975, Sep-Nov 1975, Apr-Oct 1976, Feb-Apr 1986, Nov 1986-Nov 1987, May-Nov 1987, 1999, and Oct-Nov 2000. If you were born in these time periods you can expect very strange occurrences to bring forth your uniqueness or genius, even if things seem way out of control and make no sense at all. You're individuating, and either cooperating or exploding sideways or both.
People with Saturn in these degree spans are probably going through a lot of long term choices about which limitations, restrictions, duties, obligations, and fears you're willing to live with and what you really don't want to take into your future. Your security systems are in flux from forces that challenge the structure of your reality, so be flexible and have no fear! Dates are month/year: 12/23 through 4/24, 9/24-11/24, 12/28-1/29, 7/29-9/29, 3/33-7/33, 12/33-1/34, 6/37-8/37, 3/38-4/38, 7/41-11/41, 4/42-5/42, 7/45-8/45, 1/46-5/46, 8/49-9/49, 10/53-12/53, 5/54-8/54, 1/58-2/58, 5/58-6/58, 10/58-11/58, 2/63-3/63, 9/63-12/63, 4/67-5/67, 10/67-2/68, 5/71-7/71, 12/71-3/72, 9/74-12/74, 5/75-7/75, 9/78-3/79, 6/79-8/79, 12/82-5/83, 8/83-10/83, 3/87-4/87, 11/87-12/87, 3/92-8/92, 12/92-1/93, 5/96-9/96, 2/97-3/97, 5/2000-11/2000, and 4/01-5/01.
As always, if your Moon, Mercury, Mars or any other planet are in the zones mentioned in this article, you can expect lots of weird and important change in those areas of your inner and outer life. We're all definitely facing forks in the road of our destiny in specific areas of life, as is the world in general. In the past year, the septile pattern was triggered late October 2004. (Sun transit Libra-Scorpio sector), 2nd week of November (Mars transit), 2nd week of December (Sun).
It continued in 2005 in the 4th week of Jan (Mars), last week of Jan-beginning of February 2005 (Sun), 4th week of March (Sun), first 10 days of April (Mars), 3rd week of May (Sun), 3rd week of June (Mars), 2nd week of July (Sun), first week of September (Sun), and like last year, late October and 2nd week of December (Sun). Obviously the pattern is triggered by the Moon, Mercury and Venus, but that's too much to go into here.
As I've pointed out before, much will not make sense during these periods, but it doesn't have to. Open to the non-rational forms of knowing, be alert to obsessive thinking or compulsive behaviors in your world, and try not to get unnerved by the general "Marx Brothers" or "Twilight Zone" qualities to things that occur during these times. Cooperate in pioneering group endeavors, and don't worry if it's all very strange in the forseeable future. I'll discuss more of how the Saturn-Uranus triseptile affects different generations in an article in the near future.
Today is Fitzmas! And what do the stars bring us? Venus conjunct Pluto at 22 Saggitarius. There will be a permanent shake up in the US government. Pluto will finally expose where all the bodies are buried. Venus will make sure that what happens is for the greater good of the body politick. Saggitarius leads us to a higher way, greater vision, would you believe integrity? Things can and will change for the better. The inmates will no longer be running the asylum. So Mote It Be! And So It Is!
