The Full Moon occurs on November 15, 4:57 pm PST, at 24 degrees Scorpio/Taurus. This challenges us all to bring our realizations into practical, grounded ways of doing our being, and shows that everyone will confront some form of a challenge to transformation. The Sun, or light we can bring out of this coming period, is on a degree of "the power in well-formulated ideas to become actual facts," and we are told it represents "practical inspiration." The down side is that many will be shown their "inability to face a vital challenge," and given that the Moon is on the degree of Mars' stationary retrograde point, there will no doubt be confrontations with some aggressions boiling over, forcing some to defend their sense of mission or life purpose.

This Full Moon shows a very powerful T-square with Saturn in Leo opposition Neptune in Aquarius, both squared by Mars in Taurus retrograde. The Saturn opposed to Neptune is forcing us all to see the ideal versus the reality, and adopt disciplines that can help us bring our ideal or dream into concreteness. This of course requires discipline, organization, perseverence, and all the other usual keywords of Saturn, never much fun but always productive, even if a grind at times.
The Mars square Saturn for the next few weeks is great for avoiding passive aggressive people, as well as active-aggressive people. If there are conflicts, the parties will be equally intransigent. Be on the alert for stubborn selfishness and blind one-sided assertions, since these are withering to one's nobility, love, creativity, and sense of what is honorable.
The Mars square Neptune is great for getting inspired, but also requires that we not accept defeat too easily. The T-square throwing the emphasis into Scorpio will mobilize us to complete our "improvised experiment," and we should meet others with the highest level of dignity, even if they're being impossibly difficult. Try to remember that it's their hell, and we don't have to live there. We also don't have to yield to authoritarian, heavy-handed subjective people.
So I suppose it's important to prioritize what's important short term, what's important long term, and ignore the rest. And if you can't ignore it, at least sidestep it, or defer, or just walk away, since it's probably just a time waster. When Scorpio is so heavily accented, do whatever purifications you need to, excluding whatever would distract or deflect you from what you have to do in order to "fly free" into a greater life and effectiveness to come in the very near future.
The fly in the ointment, so to speak, is the ongoing Saturn triseptile Uranus, creating some very strange, weird irrational situations that are forks in our road. Ordinarily this would be background noise, except the Sun at this Full Moon is biseptile Saturn and also biseptile Uranus, thus making events these next two weeks very strange, and important for our future. Expect sudden, even unexpected twists and turns, with any tendency for obsessions or compulsions to come out being at the forefront. We're all determining our "destiny" for some time to come, who we're going to be hanging with, and not. It's definitely separating the sheep from the goats, and showing us what and who we can live with and cannot (or should not.)
This Sun-Saturn-Uranus configuration creates three points in a "Great Septile," or 7-pointed star activated for the duration of the lunation period. The void points are a degree of two to either side of 29 Aries, 20 Gemini, 2 Libra, and 15 Capricorn. If you have planets near these points, hold on for a wild ride connected to those planets, the birth chart houses they occupy, and the houses they rule. And of course, if they are important points in your progressed or Solar Return charts, it will correspondingly affect those areas as well.
The Moon will go over the Gemini point on November 17, the Leo point on November 21-22, the Libra point on November 26, and the Scorpio point on November 30. Expect strangeness to be in the air on those days, and regard them as turning points in your life, depending on what is affected in your individual chart.
It may be time for some cocooning in order to do your transformation. Given the larger collective changes portended by Uranus going stationary direct followed next week by Saturn going stationary retrograde, try to stay centered and not get confused by which tide is coming in and which tide is going out. This could create symbolic whirlpools of energies, and on the whole the higher mind and larger vision favors change and innovation, while the lower mind favors stabilization and not getting too far out into unique or strange notions. Decrease nervousness, follow routines and tried and true methods, and don't worry if it takes a little longer to get things down. Mercury is retrograde, after all.
The blessings of this Full Moon are the Mercury trine Saturn, Venus trine Mars, and Jupiter trine Uranus. The difficulties stem from the T-square, a very close Moon quincunx Pluto, and Venus quincunx Saturn. The next two weeks will show some hard adjustments, important sacrifices, and depending, either entry into a new path or a closing of the door. Again, discipline, organization, taking responsibility, saying goodbye to some things, forgiving as much as possible, and opening to new vistas of concrete development are the qualities that will carry you through.
Keep working through whatever is creating a slow burn or repressed anger or agitation, and try to clean out toxic parts of your life while regenerating a positive concentration about what's of greater importance, what's of lesser importance, and what's not important any more, even if it once was.

How does astrology effect the way a individual person handles a drug problem? Could It be the way I decide to make a change during times of stressfull aspects that hinder my ability to stop using? I have for three years now, tried to stop my habit. though as much as I dislike using I fall back into the same pattern everytime. Perhaps I should follow times of positve aspect changes and ride it out. Could It be the fact I was born with four retrograde planets. Most astrologers I have asked for advice seem to exclude the four retrograde planets. However I am almost positve It is my main fallback In the way I handle my life now. Then again I feel the retrograde Planets have dramaticly effected my life in a more positive way, giving me an advantage of some sort. How would I go about striking a common balance between the two of them? You are an inspiration in my paradigm, a blessing in disguise. In my youth and the sub-culture I reside around I don't know how to show my real side. It seems I share unique qualitys that only other older adults share. Then again, it could be the full moon in my sign that caused my recent quarrles and deep rooted feelings Im starting to expierence. Very wierd. Peace Out!

Hi Dax -
You raise some interesting questions. Of course astrology affects our habits, and which ones are more problematic and which are less, and when, as well as good times to begin something and quit something, whether drinking, unhealthy relationships, or unproductive ways of thinking, emoting, or speaking.
If you're trying to quit something that is messing up your life, then favorable aspects from the Moon to Pluto and Saturn are excellent. Of course, if it's not that harmful, your subconscious already knows that, and so you probably won't quit, since your total being won't be into it. You'll know you have more important things to work on, and will be more intent on concentrating on causes rather than effects or relatively harmless elements of personal lifestyle.
As for drugs, I can't really comment much other than to say I cannot take penicillin, champagne, or white sugar, as these all have extremely bad effects on my body, and I do them at my own risk. Things like alcohol entirely depend on the person. And of course cigarettes, speed, and cocaine are pretty bad regardless, since they will kill you, as will many other things.
Depending on what's retrograde, it shows messages streaming from subconsciousness depending on what level those planets operate on, personally, globally, etc. I have 3 retrogrades, and my progressed Mercury was RX for about 20 years when I was much younger. Not sure you can attribute a lack of self-control to a retrograde. To me they're very positive, since that function marches to a different drummer, so to speak.
Thanks for the compliments. Most of us can't show our "real side" in this world or else be hammered for our troubles. Sometimes I also feel about 70, other times about 30, and yet other times about 18! And Full Moon people often resolve things through polarization and reflection. Deep feelings come from a variety of sources, and as long as they lead you to a deeper and more authentic truth, blessings and all that. Just remember that they too will pass, and are indicators of more important inner changes that are trying to find a form of expression. It's our job to be the highest expression we can be, and let go of the stuff that's not helping anyone, least of all ourselves.
