Also known as the Spring Equinox, where the days and nights are of equal length. For three months the days will get longer, the Solar force gets stronger, and we should start feeling better, especially those with SAD, or seasonal affective disorder, a product of not enough sunshine getting to the endocrine system. The Equinox begins at 10:26 am PST. This is the time to launch projects, take a new look at the coming season of productivity, and figure out which what projects you want to tend. It is said that a chart done for the Equinox shows the season to come, and this one has some interesting aspects.
Depending on where you do the chart for the Equinox, you'll have different signs on the Ascendant and Midheaven. Here in America we have late Gemini on the West Coast, and early Leo on the Ascendant at Washington DC. Of course, this means that DC has Saturn rising for the Spriing chart, showing some heavy restraints and restrictions coming down there over the next 90 days. The Sun trine Saturn with the Moon separating trine to both from Sagittarius shows lots of Fire in the air this Spring for everyone, especially those places with Fire signs rising.
The aspects stay the same regardless of where you do a chart for, since time is the variable, not the planetary motions. Of particular note in the Vernal charts wherever they are done are the Mercury retrograde conjunct Uranus, showing some interesting reversals and discoveries yet to be announced busting past deceptions, and a Venus conjunct Neptune, both on very significant Sabian Symbol points. Neptune shows some spectacular reactions to seemingly insignificant events, and Venus offers all a shortcut to direct accomplishment, whether material or spiritual. Other than these conjunctions, the only other forming aspects, showing things to come (separating aspects in event, horary, or electional charts show things past) are the harmonious Moon quintile Neptune, Venus trine Mars, Mars trine Neptune, Jupiter trine Uranus, and Sun trine Saturn. The "jokers in the deck" are Moon opposition Mars, Mars quincunx Jupiter, Mars opposed Pluto, and the 8000 pound "gorilla in the corner," the Jupiter biseptile Saturn.
Adding it up, it seems as though this Spring will be very stabilizing, with abstract higher ideals at the forefront. Old deceptions will be busted, or new information will come out about secret electronic surveillance, symbolized by Uranus in Pisces. The heavily afflicted Mars will continue to inflame many sectors of the world, and there will be many debates about "the rules of the game," who has to play by which rules, and new dimensions of effectiveness glimpsed. It's definitely "Flame On" time!

I just now saw headlines on MSNBC about the foreign minister of Iraq feeding secret intel to the CIA. He gave them accurate info about the lack of WMD's and Iraq's nuclear capabilities PRIOR to the invasion. Again the question is why was this info from a reliable highly placed person ignored? This is the most damning evidence yet that it wasn't faulty intelligence. It was ignoring good intelligence from multiple sources. So here is an example of "busting past deceptions." Also the Mousssai trial is really coming unraveled. Another article up on MSNBC shows that the agent who arrested Moussai pleaded with the FBI HQ to launch a full investigation of him PRIOR to 9-11. They refused and told him that he was over-reacting. Now they are trying to blame Mousaai for their incompetence. More "busting of past deceptions." But wait, there's more.....it's just getting started. The coming Solar eclipse is really going to shake the trees. Lots of rotten apples are going to start falling, especially in Washington.

You're right. And it makes this article seem precient. I believe the Jupiter-Neptune will blow the doors off many things this year.

Robert, well, the skies seem to be very laden for me. There is a muddle in a couple of partnerships - personal and professional. Either one is a muddle or a facade or both are. Its becoming increasingly hard to know which is which and i keep getting the feeling i have to act but my buddhist mind keeps asking me to simply turn in, i could wait and turn in and wait but its been going on for almost a year, something which started late last may early june, i am wont to believe both are facades but...

Hi Abacus - It may be helpful to see if they are contributing to your awareness of continuity of your path, and what qualities they are testing/evoking from you. They may either be or not be muddled and facades, but how long and how real the connection is depends on your own realization and commitment. Are they reciprocal? Are they empowering, or competitive in ways that leave you feeling drained with nothing received in return, whether realization, affection, respect, or more material rewards? See what your buy-in is, what their buy-in is, and are the interactions leaving you feeling split or whole, anxiously anticipating things to come or just feeling like you're dividing your energies to no clear end? And if it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. If it is broken, ask yourself if it's worth fixing, and if it is, either you have the skills to fix it, or need to learn the skills for future fixing of things, or go get a mechanic who knows what they're doing.

Does the Jupiter Biseptile Saturn have a maximum energy peak within the next 90 or is it more a constant force? With the Venus aspect things are wonderful in many life experiences including my relationship with my partner. However, a simple explanation is she is Jupiter and I am Saturn. Any do and do nots?
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Don.

Hi Don - Actually, February, March, and April were when the biseptile was closest. They are now back in square, and will be through November. The biseptile will again be active between mid-December and early January 2007. December will be very important, as Mercury and Mars also biseptile Saturn just before the Jupiter biseptile is exact. As for you and your partner, there is no simple explanation, since the Sun-Moon contacts, as well as the Venus-Mars contacts, are of primary importance.

Beautiful clarification for me- 'the Biseptile is back in square through November.' I have my Glossary of Aspects and Abacus here. However the "Jupiter Biseptile Saturn" link above provides far greater explanation. I'm connecting some of the dots myself and, I find your interpretations bridge the figurative miles across my uncharted waters. Truly excellent work Robert- the more a REALLY study- the more I realize this blog for 'the Jewel of the Nile.'
As an aside; my previous post was...provoked via my partners bidding.
Thanks for keepin' it real.
Sincerely,
Don.
