Following up on a previous post, the Age of Aquarius is upon us, but since Cosmic Time is somewhat more stretched out than our human-based perceptual framework, it’s going to be a while before we will finally bid adieu to the old, rapidly-fading Age of Pisces. We have already had various parts of the Aquarian Age awakened at two different moments in recent history, these occurring when Uranus transited the sign. At present, Neptune is weaving and blending Aquarian energy into the holographic matrix of both collective consciousness as well as the collective unconscious, and in decades to come Pluto will awaken the seeds of the coming era which will look completely different from anything we’ve seen in over 200 years, ultimately manifesting as a completely transformed humanity.

This is not idle cheerleading. The outer Triad, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, while subtle in the lives of individuals, symbolize the pulses of radical Transpersonal Transformative change in the collective life of humanity. As Uranus moves the fastest of these 3, taking only 84 years to make a complete cycle, it awakens patterns, and individuates all it touches through its revolutionary qualities.
Neptune is the next fastest in speed, and through its dissolving while preserving quality spreads the energies throughout a larger field. Its association with the oceans is not inaccurate; it is the vastness, fluidity, and all-encompassing nature of Neptune to diffuse all it touches. Yet nothing at all is lost, as it is merely spread out throughout the entire field, whether of ocean, space, or consciousness itself.
Pluto, the transformer, symbolizes the seed-core of whatever is left over from previous cycles. It is concentrating, purifying, and like a seed, contains within itself the entire pattern of all that has gone before, stripped of obsolete forms. No seed ever exactly duplicates the plant from which is came, but it does encompass all the primary qualities of that generic plant species, plus the special qualities of the specific plant that produced it.
Neptune takes about 165 years to make a complete cycle, and Pluto takes about 250 years to do the same. Uranus was in Aquarius between 1912 and 1920, and again between 1995 and 2003. Both of these eras awakened Aquarius energies, and revolutionized our world with implications for everything that followed. The world of 1910 was very different from 1922, just as the world of 1993 was radically different from the world of 2005. These two transits awakened Aquarian energies that have affected all we think we know and believe today.
Neptune entered Aquarius in 1998, and will continue to transit that sign through early 2012, said to be a significant point in time from several sources. During this period, Neptune is diffusing the Aquarian energy into the collective unconscious, as dream-forms and subtle patterns of that energy. It is establishing the various textures of the Aquarian Age to come, which will show as the qualities of collective Contribution and Management within a larger sphere of synthesized, synergistic cooperation and impersonal Love. I’ll discuss more qualities of the energies of the coming Age in a future article, so you may look for signs and signals of its constantly strengthening approach.
Pluto will briefly enter Aquarius in 2023, and re-enter in 2024, staying there until 2044. As you know from previous articles, this will be the “Spring” of the 21st century, when collectively we shall awaken from the “Winter” of 2000-2025, and see the growth of what this coming century is all about. It will certainly be a welcome change from the barrenness of what has been and is, and will be a period where much that is good will be redeemed from the wreckage of the destroyed failed systems we presently live within.
During that season, Pluto will reawaken the seeds of life-light that humanity is in its collective nature, and we shall see things not dreamed of in many thousands of years. The collective will become aware of things that up to now have been revolutionary ideas and ideals dreamed and revealed by the trailblazers who have tuned into the Uranian and Neptunian patterns. New forms will show us new ways of being alive and using the miraculous electro-magnetic principles of creation to bring forth a much more effective and loving way of being Spirits in this material world.
The workings of these 3 planets are preparing us for an era to come, as different from our present mechanistic collective delusion as we are from the inquisitors of the 15th century. On a final note, I can definitely tell you that the long-term future of humanity is very bright, but don’t count on it looking anything like what we value or think today.

Maybe I worry too much; things have a habit of turning our ok, don’t they?

Hi Swagy - Often things really don't turn out as bad as we fear. That's why when we refuse to fear, regardless of circumstances, we override the cause of many problems and much future suffering. Then even when it is bad, we're still not fearing, and in a position to respond productively.

Another great post, but now I'll have to search thru the archives here to find your earlier post to which you alude. As mentioned previously I am most interested in how to get from here to there. In 2025, I'll be 76, and while I intend to be living full out then, still, it would be nice if these years in between ---well, to start --- to survive them! Will look for your earlier post.

Hey all,
quick question, we entered taurus today right? It may be a silly question for most of my downloaded astro-tools went de-prompt today, including my Ephemeris. Also, Robert if I may ask, well to preempt my question- you know the Celistine Prophecy book right? Well in meditating in a certain setting (outside on a beautiful day or inside like today when it's rainy) is there a- maybe a labeling effect sometimes at first? I feel this relates to the age b/c my mind in silence has been going 1. environment 2.outer self 3. collective (thoughts of everyone) 4. a blockage to my-inner at 3. But my mind goes now then 1990's (past). Is this a common thing? If this question is off topic or too in the personal realm I completely understand.
Sincerely,
fond Patron of the APapers,
Don.

Yes, we entered Taurus recently. I did read the Celestine Prophesy, which is a poorly edited "Metaphysics of Life On Earth" 101 level textbook. BTW - the author is an astrologer.
Ideally, meditation takes you into pure consciousness, where potential impulses never take shape since you're not attaching forms to the thoughts. If you're finding your mind going anywhere at all, you're somewhere between thinking and meditating. And sometimes it helps to see your body, feelings, and mind as a separate being apart from that which meditates. You'll know you're meditating when you don't notice these movements while you're simply being.

Hey Robert - I started by re-reading the Mars retrograde period we are in, and ended up linking all the way back to this post from April.
In your comments here, I find your description of meditation very helpful, and don't think I've really understood meditation before (haven't practiced).
I also appreciate you saying that acting without fear allows one to act appropriately. I don't think I've looked at it quite that way before. (Maybe I've missed some posts). I have had a lot of psychological fear the past few years (12th house Cancer perhaps, Pluto through my Sun, and a re-location away from home and family), and understanding why one shouldn't act with fear, on a practical level, makes a heck of a lot of sense.
So - I'm happy to have come across both of those succinct descriptions.
You have an interesting mix of backgrounds in both media and astrology (so do I by the way), but most if not all the people I've met in the media would've laughed in my face if they'd known of my interest in astrology.
Anyway, it's very interesting to have one direct such focussed energy toward astrology, and I am grateful to you.

Hi Christine - Glad you found your way here, since meditation can take 10,000 forms, each perfect for specific situations. The more we meditate the better. Definitely glad you're overcoming fear, which is a dangerous disease. Please google "dangerous disease" and you'll find something I wrote on it. Media and astrology kinda sorta mix, but many in many fields are very superstitious about such things. (Media that is! ;-)) And when I left TV production and directing it was due to Spirit shoving me into being a VERY much in demand astrologer in LA after some years in Austin climbing out of the wreckage.

"...but many in many fields are very superstitious about such things (media that is)"
:-D
I will google "dangerous disease". Thank you.
Appropriately enough I watched The Haunting (1963) tonight about a house that destroys all that live there... one line, "sometimes fear is all it takes".
Happy Halloween!
