George Bush Horoscope Transits for May-June-July 2006
by Robert Wilkinson
As I noted in this article on his progressions, George Bush bears the karma of 1/7 of the United States, and therefore his astrological birth chart is important to our collective destiny and well-being. He is in the midst of some of the most difficult transits anyone without maturity would have to endure, and Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, and Mars are all bringing him an important wake up call. This man of little imagination and clutching demeanor is aging visibly by the day, no doubt due to the extraordinary stress of heavy responsibilities he is unsuited to bear. Welcome to Saturn's pulse of teaching lessons the hard way if they have not been learned any other way coupled with Pluto's relentless pressure of radical self-purification and transformation due to larger events beyond individual control.
George Bush has hit his limit. Pluto has been exactly quincunx his natal Saturn, forcing him to adjust, retreat, retire, and peacefully adapt, which of course Dubya seems incapable of comprehending. Because Pluto's station was 27 Sagittarius, you may bet that this trigger point will continue to keep our preznit focused on events beyond his control that make him give ground, something he does not like to do.
Neptune has hit its station at 20 Aquarius opposition his Venus in the first at 22 Leo, no doubt bringing both delusions and disillusionment. I'm sure he is indulging in fuzzy behavior not reported by the media, and this aspect can often result in people feeling like life is antagonistic due to lack of clarity. He needs to adapt and sacrifice old rules and rigidities to get cooperation instead of clinging to his maladjustments. His sense of purpose is under relentless pressure to change and grow, and no doubt his Saturn degree of "a furious storm rages through a residential canyon" is creating havoc in his life and the lives of those close to him.
Saturn, of course, finished his second Saturn return between Autumn 2003 and Summer 2005. After that it entered Leo and conjuncted his Ascendant at 8 Leo, his Mercury at 10 Leo, and his Pluto at 11 Leo, going stationary retrograde in November 2005 and then again traversing those same points. More on Saturn conjunct the Ascendant or a planet at the link. It recently went stationary direct in April 2006 almost exactly on his Trans-Pluto (Percephone) at 4 Leo, and is now moving forward again, soon to re-conjunct his Ascendant, Mercury, and Pluto in June and early July.
Saturn sitting on his Ascendant these past 9 months has been a very difficult time for him. It didn't have to be, but he doesn't seem to want to learn how to make Saturn his friend. I'm sure he's more than a little depressed, and feels persecuted. He's wearing his obsessions and compulsions on his sleeve, so to speak, and while he could be finding a unique gift of learning how to balance, be fair, be a peacemaker, he's more likely to be dealing with physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health crises.
Jupiter lower square his Leo and trine his Cancer shows he's in conflict about showing Leo nobility and strength, and falling back on his Scorpio-Cancer trine currently being individualized by the trine from transitting Uranus. He needs a tremendous amount of detachment, higher vision, gentleness, and peacefulness to make the most of this, which of course by his actions he shows he's not.
Mars is kicking off major activity in his chart, since it is in Cancer. It is going over his Sun as you read this, starting a new 2 year cycle of activity, even as it afflicts his Moon conjunct Jupiter in Libra. Mars is in his 12th house, bringing him the results of his past two years of work, for good or ill. The 12th house is a place of endings, and a sector where we can review the "movie of our life" and see the larger sweep from a different perspective. It is also the house of sorrows and rewards. He's probably having a very hard time right now.
Mars will conjunct his Saturn at the end of May around the time the Sun squares his Mars, usually indicating a need to slow down, take it easy, avoid accidents and impulsiveness, or aggressive actions. I have no doubt that something very big and very powerful is about to happen in his life that will restructure his sense of purpose, his knowledge of limits and responsibilities, This is all a prelude of endings and new events pointing in totally new directions, a period "before the beginning."
His new personal cycle affecting him in deep and direct ways occurs when Mars transits his Ascendant in mid-June, around the time it conjuncts transitting Saturn and squares transitting Jupiter. This is a very unstable and even dangerous time, when he is prone to excesses that are ill-conceived. He may make a large power play at that time, but also face forces beyond his control putting him into a leash he cannot break free from. The third week of June is the point of maximum focus on this very difficult time.
Though Mars and Saturn both sextile his Libra and Gemini planets at that time, this merely shows a series of productive opportunities, not necessarily escape from Saturn's lessons. Of course as they both progress through Leo, eventually they will conjunct his Venus, which could also trigger unfortunate public events since Venus rules his 10th house. Much of what Saturn in his 12th house set as a pattern and is being triggered by Mars currently in his 12th will be made known when Mercury and the Sun enter that house in June 2006. And of course, Saturn moving into his 1st house will bring him chains of duty whether he wants them or not.
During that time his karma will come down big time in ways he cannot control. The Mercury retrograde in his 12th will no doubt be very important in him taking one last look at changing for the good before he no longer has what he needs to do his job. All in all, the harvest sector for our President does not bode well for him. We can only pray he adapts, stops trying to insist he's right regardless of the facts, and gets a sense of humor.

Ok...
...I'll affirm his gaining some maturity, but I'll also keep a back-up plan handy - just in case.

Caleb, you know I hold out for a miracle, that this inept, incompetent, immature Eternal being will somehow see the light and stop killing, bombing, torturing, circumventing and ignoring the Constitution, and show he actually has a heart. And I'm sure Plan B is a very good thing. "Hey Jude....."

Robert -
I was struck by your comments: Mars will conjunct his Saturn at the end of May around the time the Sun squares his Mars, usually indicating a need to slow down, take it easy, avoid accidents and impulsiveness, or aggressive actions. I have no doubt that something very big and very powerful is about to happen in his life that will restructure his sense of purpose, his knowledge of limits and responsibilities, This is all a prelude of endings and new events pointing in totally new directions, a period "before the beginning."

The third week of June is the point of maximum focus on this very difficult time."
I may have mentioned here earlier that billboards I'm seeing around for a movie, no doubt, have gotten me thinking of June 6 - 6/6/06; anniversary of D-Day --- a good day to keep our heads low. I worry about my family in LA (and you, Robert!) for some reason. Your post about Bush and my thoughts that another "terrorist attack" (who are the real terrorists) to prime the pump for the midterm elections might be around the corner. What are your thoughts on this (and perhaps I should post this in your other blog instead?)

Good morning all, Robert you wrote "Saturn sitting on his Ascendant these past 9 months has been a very difficult time for him. It didn't have to be, but he doesn't seem to want to learn how to make Saturn his friend." How unfortunate for him. Again, I am a beginner Astrology student however the cliche "what goes around comes around" bare swift resemblance here I think. Personally, I have Saturn Trining my Capricorn Ascendant from the 8th-10th, and I'm facing my first return. Regardless of the aspect Saturn is all about understanding and applying our limits, letting go, preparing, responsibility, and growth (my interpretation within four months studying Astrology)...and boy he could have a chance to realize these things to assign the positive but...sigh. I pray that the global change in the environment, trade, and lives of us all will band together to elect the best possible man/woman (hint-hint, lol) in the next presidential race. There are many of us beginning our new realization of selves via Neptune- do any of you guys think that will be enough? 600,000 hits on the site right Robert...combine that with rational like-minded or simply logical/national collective thinking?
P.S. I've been gathering some actual support within my circle in regards to the Guatemalan crisis, if anyone would like to join with me or even personally communicate anything regarding it, please reply-post and we might correspond e-mail. This would be separate and in addition to Robert's compassionate and selfless support/aid regarding the effort.
Sincerely,
Abiento,
Don.

Hi Diane - Worrying about another "terraist" attack, whether from enemies or our own dirty tricks dept in the administration, is counterproductive. That's why I've been maintaining that we all need to get prepared to do what we must in the years to come, since everything is changing and we really have no way or knowing enemies from friends at this point, given the corruption of the entire system. I believe his health is melting down, if Congressional control shifts this November we will hear calls for impeachment, and there is still the factor of Tecumseh's Curse. He will not be out of the woods for about 800 days. And of course he will go down as the worst preznit America has ever suffered.
Don (and Diane)- Much depends on our ability to stop the Diebold spread from "electing" whomever the monkeywrenching fascists desire. And thanks for your concern for the Guatemalans, Don. Being ignored by the media, we forget they were devastated, and are still rebuilding. This topic actually belongs more on the Political Physics site, since that's where this kind of stuff gets discussed and spread. Just remember, please, that due to prevailing superstition, a great number of people visiting political sites do NOT like astrology in any form. That's why we discuss metaphysics, astrology, and higher things here, and usually keep the mundane stuff over there. That said, there's no problem discussing politics here, even if there's a problem discussing astrology over there.

"Mars will conjunct his Saturn at the end of May around the time the Sun squares his Mars, usually indicating a need to slow down"
Another thing a noticed a bit ago, that I figured I'd add...
On april 24th, there was a transiting sun/saturn square -- The midpoint of this square was 19gem43. Bush's north node is 19gem35, very close indeed! This also implies the sun/saturn square formed semisquare/trioctile (8th harmonic) aspects to his nodal axis.
Also, his natal sun/saturn midpoint is 20can08. Mars will transit this point on may 18th.
As usual, excellent article. Thank you!

Robert - well "Tecumseh's Curse" sent me to Wikipedia - knew of the phenomena (presidents elected on the '0' years every 20 years dying in office) but didn't realize it had a name. Thanks!
Re: <> - agree about the enemies/friends thing. Now, what is it you envision one should do to prepare for these times. And do they seem to portend incredible turmoil & possible chaos to you?
Posted by: Diane Scholten | May 10, 2006 at 10:13 AM
Hi ayanamsha - Thanks for the praise and insights. I'm sure things will be triggered at the times you and I have seen are active in his chart.
diane - I believe you should meditate on opening to insights as to how you can best prepare to be part of a larger support system in the chaos yet to come. It's happening as we speak. Our country and the world is already in turmoil, and the entire system is breaking down.
We must prepare, learn, open, network, cooperate with outselves and others, and keep moving into ways of being of service to the greater good as the Grand Irrationality plays itself out. Your heart-knowledge will give you all you need at present. As everything unfolds, I hope we'll still have internet, and this place can be a networking point of contact.

Robert-
Thanks for the heads-up concerning the Poly.Physics thread. Should we hang our heads low(er) on and around the 18th? I've done a few transits for mundane astrology- starting to see the bigger picture. I think that right now is the best time for any/all of your advice. Also I'd like to wish everyone a happy Buddha Birthday! Robert on my scorpio-sign and full moon this Friday- I've been getting various meditation advice for Friday night when the moon is overhead. Anything in particular to think, do, not do, rejoice, trust my inner, etc?
Thank you all,

You should go to this link and follow it back to the post from the day before on the sources of suffering, then read the linked article on ending suffering, and the essay on karma when you're finished with that article. That should give you plenty to meditate on.

Is the US President making himself a target of this curse unnecessarily ? This curse "TECUMSEH" is and
still has an 86.7% accuracy rating, to date. So if human kind has some INTELLEGENCE, if indeed the current President is guided by his "ILLUMINATI" group, then they should make sure something which has been predicted by doomsayers from the curse, would never come to pass.
Not that I'm a Big Fan or what, but I thought the World as it is today, cannot sustain another Tragedy
such as this. And if indeed there is such an organization called ILLUMINATI, then they should try to put this so called "Curse" on the shelves, keep W
safe, way into his retirement years, and reduce the accuracy rating to "NILL" if possible.
Humanity today has the Intelligences & counter Intelligences to reverse any kind of doomsday scenarios and predictions, to finally usher in
the Peace & the Golden Years of Mankind, which has
been a PROMISE from the Almighty.
Just my humble remark.

Hi chancebodhi - The preznit never makes himself a target, but often disturbed people will take a potshot to make a name for themselves in the historical record. In our present situation, I suspect no one has shot Dubya since Darth Cheney would then assume the official role as president. In other words, it wouldn't make a dime's worth of difference to America which one is the figurehead, since the Beast runs the show anyway. It actually could be said "the curse" is still 100%, since though Reagan didn't die physically, he did go relatively brain dead via Alzheimers before the end of his presidency.
The sudden end of this administration would not be a tragedy, since the stealing of our elections by Dubya and the Beast ARE the tragedy of our times, having set up massive disasters in the Middle East. Dubya's death would not be a "doomsday scenario." Darfur, the massive collapse of honeybee populations, the polluting of our Earth, water, and air, and the inferno in California are all tragedies. If you don't think so, imagine what happens if there are no more bees. Think massive reductions in our food supply, which would "doom" the poor and elderly to eating even less than they do now. Our country has many tragedies yet to endure, due to its callous indifference to the suffering of the poor, elderly, and sick here and abroad. Any country that puts the profit of industry ahead of the well being of its people will go down, and go down hard. And we will survive to see a new era where profits will NOT be put before the well being of people.
