That's the big news for the next few days. Neptune hit its retrograde station today at 6:06 am PDT on the degree "A large white dove bearing a message," which promises us all signals from Spirit for our "thorough, sustained, and victorious individual efforts" over the next 5 months. There will be blessings to those who have overcome inertia, destructive people and habits, and our worth will be certified by our attaining victory in the areas of our effort. It's a huge change in the global tide, and the answer from the invisible realm for our Neptunian growth before now.

The Venus square Mars is active the next few days, and challenges us to get our affairs coordinated, and if we're not getting the results we want, examine our means to our ends, since one or both may have to change. There may be unexpected distractions and diversions, so fit things into a long range perspective, and keep many diverse things in motion despite the drags on the line.
Stay balanced, organized, expect concentrated doses of spiritual energy that can shape your mind in forms of future fulfillment, accept that you're being led to your sanctuary, and allow yourself to mutate toward an emerging heart strength. Even if things seem to be going at cross purposes, embrace the new, don't get crabby or defensive, and your sense of perspective can mature in some very healthy ways.
I'll close today with the news there are some very exciting developments happening here at Aquarius Papers which can unify and boost the visibility of all good astrology sites on Earth. You'll know more as the project develops. It's not just one more commercial shuck and jive, but a way that will open up the global interest in legit astrology blogs and websites. This could be the breakthrough globally astrology needs in the face of the systemic ignorance and hostility to our ancient art/science. Stay tuned!

Robert,
Totally diggin' your site. Just stumbled across it about a week ago. My question is about the Galactic Center. What do you think it means for the humanity? Or is it really not that important to the scheme of things? I've read that 0 Capricorn/Cancer is significant, and that some believe it ties us in with the rise and fall of ancient Lemuria and Atlantis.
With transiting Pluto going shifting from Sag into Capricorn in a couple of years, logically we can expect some sort of external impeteus (opposition from Pluto) for the United States (Cancer Sun)to reform/restructure on a fundamental level, right? Will Pluto transiting the Galactic Center mean anything significant for the globe/US? We all know the US is a major player on the global scene. Will transiting Pluto crossing the Galactic Center "carry" forward the seeds or karmic lessions for the globe/US? The use of power, as witnessed by our current adminstration, is certainly out of balance and needs to be checked. Time to shake things up?
We know that opposition and conflict helps us define who we are or what we are not. Maybe transiting Pluto will usher in lessons for the United States which will ultimately lead to a different perspective, and maybe even a deeper understanding of power?
Sincerely,
Pepper

Robert,
That's exciting news! I will definitely stay tuned.

Hi Vicki - You definitely will want to participate in a parallel project involving non-astrology sites that Caleb's constructing. When it's happening, it will boost your visibility. Also must recommend Lyssa Strada from my left links just above your sitelink. It's an exciting project Karen from Bread Crumbs has launched, and you'll get what it's about immediately. (Someday I'll get to post more often over there, but probably only after this grad program is done this October!)

Hi Pepper - Welcome to the Aquarius Papers. Glad you found it and like it. The Galactic Center is simply a point in spacial orientation for our Solar system, like the cosmic "straight in." It's the source of a lot of speculation, some seemingly more plausible than others.
I have read it represents a "transpersonal link" and is said to play a role in technological inventiveness, though I have no specific correlations. Supposedly it is where "cosmos is speaking," and currently occupies a point somewhere around 26 Sagittarius 57 minutes. I'm sure that Pluto on that point is awakening seeds of something large, since that's what Pluto does. It will be interesting to observe possible Jupiter correlations late in 2007.
Don't know that it had anything to do with the sinking of Poseidonis in 9564 BC. I did a chart for that year, and there was no outer planet transitting that point. I doubt it had significance with the transition between the Lemuro-Atlanteans, (the only Lemurians with somewhat perfected solid bodies) and the first Atlantean subraces known as the Rmoahal and Tlavatli. Different Root Races overlap by many thousands of years, and so very seldom are there dramatic cosmic events pinpointing a transition, though of course seeds are cut loose at various times that bear fruit hundreds or thousands of years later.
Pluto won't oppose the US Sun for quite a few years (2014). Also, on a related track, there is widespread agreement that the "true chart" of the US should probably be set for the ratification of the Constitution, since statistically that chart has the most number of hits by progression and transit to significant events in our nation's history.
Pluto purifies, and our nation certainly needs that. Of course, it is also like an earthquake that leaves a wake of devastation, throwing people into the proverbial "underworld." You are right, though, when you speak of our need to define who we are and who we are not, and for a different perspective and deeper understanding of power. No doubt the Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune configuration this year will usher in significant changes. You can also glean more from this article on what to expect this year.
Got to go. Thanks for the thought-provoking questions.

"Some ones knockin on the door..some ones ringing a bell..do me a favor open the door and let em in"
A salute today to the great initiators everywhere. Specifically Paul McCartney and Robert Wilkinson, positive Aries influence for the spirit that sings and dances in us all, thank you.
Sincerely,
Don.

For what it's worth, Mozart was born the last time Pluto was over the Galactic Center (1756).

Hi Don - Thanks for the kind words. I am indeed an Aries, which some appreciate more than others! ;-) McCartney is a Gemini, which you'll read when I get around to posting the article on Geminis.
Hi Peter - Many notables were born in the mid-1750s, including William Blake, Nathan Hale, Lafayette, Marie Antoinette, Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, and Henry Lee. To me, Blake was a genius for the ages, like Mozart. Not sure about the rest on this list, but it's an interesting concept. Most of them are remembered for some variation of Pluto's influence, whether they intended it to be or not. But I may just do an article on people with various planets conjunct the Galactic Center and see what turns up. I suppose the only difficulty here is determining what is the Galactic Center influence apart from all the other influences in their charts, including the fixed stars. But that's why the old saying is true, that "what one astrologer misses another one catches." Thanks for checking in. If you have any more insights, by all means post again.

Hi
thanks for info on Sat opp Neptune, etc. My chart is about to feel it as I have Neptune conjunct Moon conjunct Asc in Scorp 23-24, Venus Leo 22, Sun Leo 10. I'm kind of dreading the approach, but thanks for the positive spin. Sometimes, I have difficulty finding positive interpretations of tricky transits. i am hoping that along with the difficulty, these transits may help my art work along. I guess that is something to put out to the universe.
ciao for now

Hi thilde - Really, Jupiter on your Moon-Ascendant should revive the adventure of your life, and offer you liberation or some form of vision or teaching that can give you confidence and renewed idealism. Saturn square the Moon on Venus can be difficult, so use positive Taurus and Aquarius attributes to surf the waves. Neptune opposed Venus is great for art if your intuition is clear. Again, Taurus is the best energy to express yourself. Keep it simple, gentle, natural, and enjoyable.

Robert:
Thank you for the mention! I'm updating my LS blogroll, and thought I'd check out Technorati while I was at it... and there was your comment.
FYI... and I'm already signed up at Caleb's new site index.

Hi Karen - There will be more good things to come. We are now weaving a new pattern in the web that will include more than it excludes, and over time I'm sure the site will become a force majure. As you know, Caleb's on a roll, and this site just gets bigger by the month, so you should achieve fairly high visibility quickly. Lyssa Strada may become quite a place to meet! See you 'round the parts, as "they" say.
