The New Moon occurs 10:26 pm PDT tonight, May 26, 2006, at 6 degrees of Gemini. The New Moon sets the seed of the coming few weeks into motion, and this one should be fantastic! It will galvanize many into finding the knowledge that ensures wealth and power, so dig deep and bring up the energy source to the surface of your life. This New Moon will open up new perspectives and doors of possibility wherever it falls in your map, and for many it will lead to multiple forks in the road of destiny, with cooperation the theme as we greet others at the highest possible level of social interplay.
This is a time when we’re being invited to “an embassy ball,” and so should present our best possible self in social interchanges. Saturn will introduce an element of permanence wherever early Leo falls in your chart, as well as the house ruled by Capricorn, and any planets you have in Capricorn. Efficiency is the keyword for the primary quality of the next two weeks, so keep that in mind as you do your daily life.
Using gifts of intuition and the sense of dedicating yourself to higher goals and activities, conform to the requirements of your skills and level of development, and make whatever adjustments you need to while checking up on the power at your disposal. You’ve built a vehicle to deliver a higher power, and the coming weeks test your ability to “serenade the beloved” by defining role, function, and imagery precisely to compel the manifestation of an enjoyable confirmation.
For astrologers, aspects of note include Sun and Moon septile Mars, triseptile Jupiter, quadranovile Pluto, and binovile Uranus. Mercury is square Uranus, trine Neptune, novile Mars, septile Saturn, and biquintile Jupiter. Venus is square Mars and trine Pluto, Mars is a wide biseptile to Jupiter, a triseptile to Neptune, and an exact quincunx to Pluto. Jupiter still squares Saturn, trines Uranus and semisquares Pluto, Saturn biquintiles Uranus and widely opposes Neptune, and Uranus binoviles Pluto. And of course, the Grand Irrationality continues. More on the septile and quintile series aspects at this link.
Besides the septile series aspects, there is another series that creates irrational numbers, and therefore is associated with the irrational events of life and behavior. The irrational “faith producing” series of aspects based on dividing the circle by 11 yields what I have termed the “Elftile” series, since “elf” is German for 11. This obscure aspect series yields aspects of 32+ degrees (Elftile), 65+ degrees (Bielftile), 98+ degrees (Trielftile), 130+ degrees (Quadaelftile), and 163+ degrees (Pentelftile). I have found them to be associated with dualities that can only be overcome through making a leap of faith, and in making that leap you gain a form of mastery over irrational, dualistic situations.
I will do an article on these in more depth in the future. For now, I bring this up at this time due to several of these extraordinary aspects occurring in the Full Moon chart. Venus is trielftile Saturn and bielftile Neptune. Mars is quadraelftile Uranus, and Jupiter is bielftile Neptune. Thus it seems that Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will put us all through challenges to overcome a duality by making a leap of faith in areas where the outer planets fall in our charts. We are tested to display the positive traits of the inner planets, and resolve a duality indicated by the outer planets.

My step-daughter is getting married Sunday afternoon, tomorrow. I picked the date for them some months ago. It was gratifing that they asked my opinion, even though the bride and groom aren't really into astrology. Sun sextile Saturn is just seperating, Mercury trining Neptune is forming. I had hoped to get Venus in Taurus, but it will be in the last degree of Aries. She is a virgo, he is a leo. They seem to be compatable. His leo slows down her hyper virgo tendencies. This new moon is also conjunt my natal moon, so lots of communication for me as well. dcu

Congratulations to the couple. Moon sextile Venus is great, and the Mercury-Neptune-Pluto throws much favorable energy into Leo. A wedding is a perfect manifestation of a New Moon on one's Moon, as it puts the focus on family. It's also good that Mercury, dispositor of the Moon, is favorable to Venus and Mars. Le'Chaim and Mazel tov!! (BTW - though mazel tov is often translated as good luck, it actually means "fortunate constellations.")
