Karl Rove is one of the most destructive, machiavellian political figures ever to disgrace our country. A destroyer of reputations, he is a legend at attacking his opponent where they are strongest, and will not hesitate to use every dishonest means to achieve his disgusting ends. Though we do not have his exact time of birth, we can do a Solar chart for December 25, 1950, for Denver, CO, and get a very accurate sense of what is, and is in store, for this corrupt man at the pinnacle of power.
A little backstory on this master of sabotage and gutter politics: Rove is a disciple of Lee Atwater, genuinely insane political animal who perfected the art of personal destruction of others who opposed him. Maybe that's why he died of a virulent form of brain cancer at a young age. We are told when dying he was regretful for the misdeeds he had done, but karma doesn't give people like Atwater or Rove a free pass. These guys' karma is lousy for many lives to come, since they should know better. Rove is trying to corrupt and ultimately destroy democracy. He is master of the smear and rumor "whisper campaign," which he used to help Dubya defeat Ann Richards, a genuinely nice and decent person.
We find "The Prince" by Machiavelli is Rove's favorite book, and he is seems to be a very petty and insecure man, as we have stories of everything from ripping neighbors' flowers out to attacking them because leaves blew onto his property. Then there's the story of how Rove destroyed a good man's reputation in order to prove his ruthless bonafides and win an Alabama election. (Rove's implication in the Don Siegelman case here.) In examining his chart, we see he is a perfect fit for his unprincipled mirror, George Bush.
Karl is a Sun conjunct Mercury and Venus in Capricorn with Mercury retrograde and the whole stellium opposed by Moon in Cancer, connecting him with our Sun in Cancer Incompetent-In-Chief. The Mercury-Venus opposition to Moon is T-squared by Neptune, showing a man who is capable of being seriously delusional. His Sun in Capricorn is opposed by Uranus in Cancer, a sign of an uncooperative genius who gets lost in power struggles he takes way too personally.
His Jupiter in early Pisces is sextile his Sun and trine the Uranus, indicating his self-serving inventiveness that mobilizes for his protection and achievement of his goals. This opposition-sextile-trine energy is released through his Saturn in Libra square the Sun-Uranus opposition, a very powerful T-square throwing the energies into Aries, the sign of the ultimate warrior who takes no prisoners. Sounds like Karl to me.
He has a See-Saw chart, showing he inevitably finds himself in the middle of oppositions and conflicts, and he has a genius for mediation when he doesn't get out on the margins. He has three important quincunxes between Mars in Aquarius with Uranus in Cancer, Mercury in Capricorn with Pluto in Leo, and Jupiter in Pisces with Saturn in Libra, showing some health problems and his need to understand the value of sacrifice. His Sun-Pluto aspect shows that his integrity is somewhat challenged, and his "kite" between the Moon square Neptune both double sesquisquare to Jupiter clearly indicates his irritating and conflicted hypocrisy.
His gifts? A Sun quintile Neptune, which is a signal of an intuitive genius. Too bad he's a percecutorial heavy-handed pessimist, touchy and defensive and more than a little delusional. His Mars' degree urges him on to push his vision on the world, and Mars trine Saturn shows him to be the calculated master builder of massive schemes that work out in the short term, as long as the ethics of Sun square Saturn opposed Uranus are followed. However, as we know, he is a calculated destroyer of people, which will come back on him with karmic inevitability.
His Moon in Cancer feeds Dubya's Sun in Cancer, though his Capricorn opposes Smirky's Cancer influences. His Mars opposes Bush's Leo influences, so at points they get into tugs of war. Rove is insecure about how he communicates, and is out of control when people don't get what he's saying. His shadow is heavy since it's part of the T-square, and he's more than a little compulsive and irrational thanks to Mercury and Venus biseptile his Saturn, showing his control mechanism occasionally goes off half cocked when he gets out of balance.
He believes he knows a higher truth, and "the ends justify the means." He is a master of spin and deception through the afflicted Neptune and harmonious Jupiter in Pisces, though inevitably he will be defeated by forces beyond his control as a result of the Uranus in Cancer opposing his Sun and square his out-of-balance Saturn. The afflicted Saturn in the Solar 9th house shows difficulty in law at some point in the life, and since these problems have begun, you can assume they will continue for some time.
Based on his progressions, his progressed Moon is either in late Cancer of early Leo, but while these give an intense connection to Bush, they also fall in Bush's 12th house of sorrows. The Solar chart progressed Moon shows Karl is under assault from a "furious storm" at present, and will have problems through the time when the Progressed Moon quincunxes the Sun in Capricorn and then opposes the Mars at 9 Aquarius.
He had a Progressed Full Moon in 2004, probably indicating the successfully stolen 2004 election. That was followed by a Progressed Lunar Return in 2005, resetting his emotional defaults. The latest revelations of his involvement in the Valerie Plame scandal happened concurrently with his Progressed Jupiter triseptile his Pluto, and he won't be out of the woods for a long time, due to the Progressed Pluto in constant sesquisquare his natal Sun. He has skated up to now due to Progressed Jupiter quintile his natal Sun, but he confronts a Progressed Venus semisquare Mars through the next year, never a comforting influence.
His Progressed Sun is at the end of Aquarius or the first degree of Pisces, depending on his birth time. While the impending quincunx to Saturn could deal him a major health setback (as well as legal setback due to Saturn in the solar 9th house) unfortunately with Progressed Sun conjunct Jupiter he probably has someone to betray that can help him slip the noose of treason. Look for when the "traffic jam" gets the worst, as that's why he'll betray someone to divert the energy.
As for transits, the prominent afflictions are Neptune opposition his Pluto (a generational influence), Neptune semisquare his Sun (creating insecurity and confusion of role and direction), and Saturn opposed his Mars having hit its direct station quincunx his Sun, thus becoming a nozzle for a Yod, or "Finger of God," for his Sun sextile Jupiter. It also interlocks with his natal Saturn quincunxed by Jupiter, forming a second Yod, which is a very rare configuration. It's great that he's being squeezed into a narrower focus, and his multiple "expansions through sacrifices" have forced him to give up his old title to deal with trying to sell someone out to avoid a personal humiliation at the hands of Federal prosecutor Fitzgerald.
Uranus is very friendly to him now and in the near future, though it does spell another heavier "Finger of God" pointed right at his head beginning Summer 2007. The big news in the immediate future is that Venus squares his Mars today through Tuesday June 6, and Mercury conjuncts his afflicted Uranus between June 5-8. Though Venus then trines his Venus and Mercury, Mars begins its Yod with his natal Saturn releasing through his Jupiter June 7-10, which will force major adjustments and sacrifices. This immanent Yod will retrigger the transitting Saturn Yod he had to contend with in March, April, and May 2006. Put plainly, Mars is now activating what Saturn set up these past three months.
Lots of legal activity in Karl's immediate future, due to begin this week and intensify the following week, when Mars conjuncts Saturn both in an exact opposition to his Mars beginning Monday June 12, culminating June 15-19. This conflict in his chart is compounded by Jupiter square his Mars all of June, July, and the first week of August, showing he has entered a very difficult time. Other concurrent influences in his immediate future include Mercury opposed his Venus-Mercury between June 11-15 and Venus in Taurus square his Pluto and quincunx his Neptune on June 13-15.
The Sun will square his Saturn, oppose his Sun, conjunct his Uranus and quincunx his Mars the week of June 22-30, when we also see Mars quincunx his Venus, followed in early July by Mars quincunx his Mercury and semisquare his Saturn. His enemies will be taking dead aim at him due to the oppositions from the Sun to his natal Mercury and Venus, and Mercury retrograde may trip him up by bringing old contradictions back under scrutiny.
Again, Jupiter continues to put pressure on his Mars throughout this period, even as Mars creates hot spots the entire first week of July, and opposes his Jupiter the last week of July just as the Sun opposes his Mars and Mars semisquares his Neptune. Whatever happens then affects what will show up the end of August, with a reckoning due no later than the second and third weeks of September as Mercury and Mars enter his T-square with Sun square Pluto and Venus opposed Uranus with Saturn conjunct Karl Rove's Pluto. Forces beyond his control will call him to account, and bring his destructive Pluto under leash.
He gets no slack in early October with Jupiter square his Pluto, Mars square his Moon, Venus, and Mercury, Venus square his Sun and Uranus conjunct his Saturn, and Mercury square his Mars. To sum up, Karl Rove has a fairly rough ride the next 5 months, with more trouble to come when Saturn retrogrades back over his Pluto next year. If I had his exact ascendant, I could give you much more accurate timing on some things, since his Moon position could be anywhere between 14 and 24 Cancer.
That was Mars' span in May, and Mercury will transit there between June 11-20, Sun will transit there between July 5-15, Venus will transit that span July 29-August 7, and Mars will square that span between September 28 and October 14, the most volatile time for things to break apart in Karl Rove's life. We can only hope he gets what he deserves, an orange jumpsuit and some time behind bars for obstructing justice, participating in treason, and just being nasty.

All I have to say is - Holy cow, a December 25th birthday?! There's got to be signficance there, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.
My guess is that he could have been as much a genius for good, as he has chosen to be for bad.

Simply great writing, Robert.

Caleb - I'm assuming you're equating the 12/25 birthday with Jesus (who has been quite a theme in the comments on this blog of late!) --- remember, that is most likley NOT when Jesus was born - much more likely it was in the spring. I believe we celebrate Jesus's birth because Saturnalia was such a powerful Roman festival & the early Christians co-opted the date as they did with many others --- notice how the Christian holidays seem to conveniently fall on pagan festivals or near them.

Hi Diane,
I believe two possibilities (or more) might be existing at the same time.
1. 12/25 was not Jesus' real birthday.
2. There are not many coincidences - there must be some meta-physical significance that Rove was born on the same day that much of the world regards, honors, and observes as that of the birthday of a world teacher.
3. What that significance is?
Who knows.
Posted by: Caleb | June 05, 2006 at 09:12 AM
Perhaps that the idea of Christ being born on that day is a fabrication, and Rove is a master of fabrication. The church appropriated that day for itself and trampled the ancient tradition, and Rove is appropriating power and trampling tradition. I could go on, but you get the gist.

Works as good as anything...sure. What you said.

Bravo, Robert! Really juicy stuff in here; let's hope all the other satellites (like Fitzgerald) align as they should.
Sure sounds like the next two weeks will be dicey for both Bush and Rover...woohoo!

Hi Rayne - Here's an article with his transits for this period. I believe Dubya's in for a very rough ride in the very near future. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
Posted by: Robert | June 05, 2006 at 12:17 PM
Hey Robert, in Dubya's transits did you see anything about his marriage? There's been buzz, but it's hard to tell whether there's any meat to it. Could the buzz be folks in the intel community retaliating, or could it be truth? Hmm.
Posted by: Rayne | June 05, 2006 at 06:29 PM
Hi Rayne - Will take a look, but with his insanity, cruelty, drug use and depression, I have no doubt Laura's got her hands full. I will look at their charts, but it must be tough being married to a mood-swinging madman.
Posted by: Robert | June 05, 2006 at 09:10 PM
I can only "ditto" the remarks about Bush's makeup and the rampant use of drugs to make him "fit" to appear publically. The Wayne Madsen reports in the last couple of days surely would indicate why he is in some sort of inner turmoil. It would be VERY interesting to see you interpretation of Dubya and Laura and also of Dubya and CONDI. LOL

The inexorable Karmic Wheel of Retribution will mow Karl Rove down and crush him like the filthy slug of corruption he is--Rove does not have long to live, his hours on earth are numbered and he will be answering to the Judge of Hell for his myriad sins!
Posted by: Raymond Funamoto | June 18, 2006 at 07:06 PM
Hi Virginia - As you know by now, I figured I'd do a sketch of Laura's chart, and it sure seems she's not very happy at present.
Hi Raymond - He may have whistled past one hangman, but I believe his perceived omnipotence has begun to crack around the edges. Unfortunately, his corruption, being the currency of the day, is still curiously welcome, even though his karma is probably leading him to something as ugly as his predecessor, Lee Atwater, who died a fairly difficult death.
I've stopped wishing for the worst for Karl, as I believe he has done such onerous deeds that he will, in fact, wish he never had been born approximately one second after he dies and he has to review the movie of his life, feeling all the pain that he created for his victims. Karl is one of those men to whom the phrase applies, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall." Like Atwater.

Hi there,
I am an astrologer in Canada, and while I certainly have political opinions, I am actually quite shocked to see Astrology being used to frame an individual as you have done. If "Karl Rove" were not the name on the chart, you would see a completely different profile. I believe that a chart should initially be read for the nnate profile found within it - without reference to what you already know, and certainly not with sarcasm, malice and mocking tone. One should seek to estabish a basic connection to the currents of energy in the chart, in this and other lives. Like a physician, the astrologer must use her/his craft with complete objectivity, and not use it to indulge in name-calling and "gotcha" analysis. I had to discontinue my subscription to a major US Astrology magazine for the same reason. I could not wade through the propaganda attached to the so-called analysis of US public figures, and public events.
What a great site you have created, for the most part. It would be so much better if you did not play high priest preaching to the converted - i.e. Americans who are wildly polarized in a dysfunctional political culture.
Robert Tarnas' recent book Cosmos and Psyche suggests there are major cosmic astrological forces shaping us in rhythmic synchronicities and historical cycles - maybe US history is part of that rhythm, and not all down to terrible men and women as you tend to portray your political world...just a thought.

DEAR CAROL,
I suggest you might be very mindful accusing someone of "playing high priest
preaching to the coverted" and then labeling us "Americans who are wildly polarized in a dysfunctional political culture." It is okay for you to be the high priestess espousing you opinion, but NOT okay for Robert to give his opinion on his own site ? An interesting attitude . And may I remind you this is a global site, not just one for "the converted."
Posted by: magenta | August 14, 2007 at 07:32 AM
Hi all - Thanks, magenta, for reminding someone that it is okay to call a fascist exactly that (especially to one whose country is not in peril or ruin due to that being's machinations!) It's funny how those outside of a wreck have opinions about what those of us caught in the wreck should be feeling. I will comment more extensively when I'm off the road in a few days, but I will remind people who stumble on this stream that while it is true that everyone born on Rove's birthday aren't fascists, it is okay to say that a Stalin has certain attributes, regardless of what day he's born.
Posted by: Robert | August 15, 2007 at 08:19 AM
Robert again with a follow-up to Carol's criticisms - After some thought, I must respond on two levels, one astrological and one political. After re-reading this article, I disagree with my critic's take on the astrological analysis. I was fairly objective in analyzing Rove's chart, and remarkably accurate in assessing what he did to Scooter Libby to escape the noose of treason in betraying a US intelligence agent. His progressed timeline also looks accurate in hindsight.
Then there's the issue of believing that a chart should be read "without reference to what you already know." That's absurd, especially for an astrologer with a degree in psychology and advanced training in psychological analysis. Ultimately it's impossible to analyze anything except through the lens of "what we already know," perceptual frames being what they are. To read a chart of a war criminal with no eye to that person's dysfunctions is like swimming with shoes and chains.
As for sarcasm, I was not sarcastic in my assessment of Rove. OTOH, I feel that Bush deserves ALL the sarcasm heaped upon him, being a simplistic smirking puppet and war criminal who has deliberately thrown millions of lives into terror, suffering, and needless violence and poverty. While my Buddhistic inclinations always call me to find what compassionate view I can, even of the world's villains, I am also an American and free thinking Soul who believes that evil triumphs when good people say and do nothing to prevent that evil. Anyone who has had therapy knows one must name inner and outer demons to strip them of their power. These two villains have thrown our world into chaos unlike anything since Stalin and Hitler. My Sun-Mars in the 9th and Moon in Aquarius is aghast at the heavy-handed violence Bush and Rove have foisted on our world.
There's no malice in calling a cowpie a cowpie. As we say in Texas, you can put lipstick on a pig but it still won't make her beautiful. And neither of these men, nor any of the other neocons bent on global domination, are beautiful people. For those who may not know, I was a respected political consultant and blogger for years and can back up my political statements with hard evidence. For those who doubt the neocon menace, start by reading the PNAC statement, and look at how the plan has unfolded since then. These are fascists bent on global domination.
As for the pejorative and prejudicial analysis ("It would be so much better if you did not play high priest preaching to the converted - i.e. Americans who are wildly polarized in a dysfunctional political culture.") I can only wonder how this person came to be appointed as judge and jury for those of us caught in a political trainwreck of corruption, war mongering, war profiteering and disastrous environmental policies created by political animals who perpetuate and profit from the polarization.
I always found it interesting that the definition of "idiot" comes from the Greek, idios, whose original meaning was an ignorant person who refused to take part in the political affairs of their times. With all kudos to Green Day, I'm NOT an "American Idiot." Even a spiritual Astrologer gets to have an opinion about what works and doesn't in their society. Those who are not directly affected by a Fascist boot cannot possibly know what it feels like.
As for major forces shaping our times, I am a trained metaphysician, historian, and psychologist, and probably as aware of those as anyone, but to divorce those trends from the men and women who play their parts on the world stage goes against everything that Astrology is. "Forces" are played out by people, as well as Nature and human action/non-action in response to it, and are not mere abstractions. To offer a grim reminder, there ARE "terrible people" in our world. If you doubt that, you haven't been reading the statistics on abused women and children, or the child slaves in Africa abused by adults to keep chocolate cheap.
Where there is injustice, cruelty, torture, rape and murder perpetuated by evil people, I shall remain a gadfly and voice for a better world while busting what corruption I can. If Carol wants to discontinue reading my posts, she is free to do so. However, the peril in refusing to take a political stand in the face of war criminals is to turn a blind eye to the neo-Stalins and neo-Hitlers bent on dominating our world through chaotic radicalism. They don't go away simply because people refuse to stay informed.
If anyone wants an outstanding and reputable source extensively documenting Rove's disgusting tactics throughout his political life, check out Karl Rove in a Corner by Joshua Green from The Atlantic originally published November 2004. Just be prepared to be revolted by what you read about this man behind the throne.
(Again, no doubt there are many good people born 25 December 1950, and if you were please don't take Rove's analysis personally. No doubt you were raised with a higher set of ethics than Karl.)

Hi Robert,
In the past I have tried to stay away from posting policital stuff on this website for the most part. But something I heard just made me want to comment.
Guess who Karl is blaming for starting the Iraq war? The dems of course! LOL
Peace,
Helen
P.S. At least he didn't blame Clinton.
Posted by: Helen | December 02, 2007 at 08:58 AM
Hi Helen - I plan on trying to create a more politically oriented "spiritual" site in 2008 that will link to this one but have a different agenda. I saw the article that Karl the Lizard is blaming the Dems. He's a ruthless, nasty man with no conscience who has done more damage than most suspect. Utterly authoritarian and having gotten away with treason while letting Scooter wear the horns, he cannot leave our political scene fast enough.
Posted by: Robert | December 03, 2007 at 05:38 AM
Dear Carol in Victoria,
I would like to thank you for your comments on objectivity by astrologers in general. Heaven knows the world thinks we are battie anyway.
As an American I appreciate your comments regarding biased analysis of Karl Rove, whether correct or incorrect. Robert abuses his otherwise insightful and informative website. Even though he has a "right" to bash individuals, I for one am turned off by that approach and it does nothing but build his bad karma, too. I am happy to hear of Robert's plans for a separate political forum because then maybe I can continue to visit Aquarius Papers and avoid his and others' vicious leftist political tirades.
Posted by: Donna | December 03, 2007 at 07:41 AM
Hi Donna - Karmically, it is the obligation of each Spiritual Being to attempt to lessen the sources of suffering. There can be no bad karma in observing and pointing out the villany of those who create suffering. Putting one's head in the sand creates bad karma through aversion. Karl is the source of massive widespread suffering. There are many millions of Iraqis who would agree, since Rove was a primary architect of the war. He has also viciously smeared many good people over many years, destroying reputations of honorable people. You probably need to study more of the nature of karma, since you seem to have some holes in your comprehension of what creates bad karma.
As for "abusing" my website, that is a peculiar judgment. This site demands nothing of anyone. It generates thousands of altruistic ideas each month. I do not tell you or anyone else how you must pray, or what you must think, or must say, so your concept of abuse is peculiar. You obviously need to study more about that as well. I suggest you read some works by Lenore E. Walker if you want to weigh in on the subject of abuse.
"Leftist" is an obsolete political term, simplistic and inaccurate in describing my view. These terms have become meaningless in contemporary American politics. I promise I'm not a socialist or communist. And pleeeeze don't do me any favors by coming here, taking my material for your personal use, and then criticizing what I do or how I do it. I will never remain quiet while fascists and war criminals create widespread suffering, so I guess you better find another cantina where you can drink for free.
Posted by: Robert | December 03, 2007 at 09:00 AM
Hi Donna,
why you pick up something that is more than 3 months old and spoil the good spirit of this site? There are good people and bad people and if we talk only about good, we are deluding ourselves. And if bad people have power, then it's comforting to know that one day the wheel of fortune can turn. I'm waiting things turn difficult for Putin, to give new chance for Russia, but it's too distant for you to think about. And you don't have to read what you dont like!
Robert, write whatever You like, as everything is interesting! You are doing great job and helping so many of us!

Hi Robert,
What was interesting to me was I was making "light" of this news.
All this commentary reminds me of listening to a talk radio host making comments about Barbara Bush. Someone called him up and scolded him that he, the talk show host, should show "more respect." After the caller hung up, the talk show host commended "imagine that, I host a talk host and not allowed to have an opinion!"
Peace,
Helen
Posted by: Helen | December 03, 2007 at 11:02 AM
Hi Ruuta - She'll probably never post again, due to her rude, judgmental, and third-person tone addressing someone else who has not posted anything since. The problem with being an open podium (which I CHOOSE to make it - there are many blogs that do not allow comments!) is that I have created a forum where anyone can comment, regardless of what ignorance or knowledge they bring to the table.
You're right about there being both good and bad people in our world, and the need to remember that the boot of authoritarian control is not permanent due to the inherent need of people for freedom. I suspect she is just another hit-and-run crypto-authoritarian who can't stand the reality that Karl and his ilk are truly abusive nasty people. In my years of political blogging, I have found that "liberal" and/or progressive thinkers are usually willing to engage in reasonable dialog, while authoritarians usually want to repress dissent and throw pejorative accusations like "vicious leftist political tirades." Those who believe there is any "leftist" anything in America are living a delusion, unless we're speaking about left-handed people.
Hi Helen - Well, now you know why I tend not to post political subjects here, though I'm tempted to start posting more just to weed out the crypto-authoritarian thinkers in the audience who actually believe that BushCo. is good for anything other than Halliburton profits. These are treasonous war profiteers who have ruined our country economically, environmentally, and internationally for years to come, and it's going to take a lot of rebuilding to restore America's health. As for respect for Barbara B, she who told Katrina victims they were better off in a shelter than their homes, I can only recall a button I wore with pride for many years through many antiwar and antinuke demonstrations, "QUESTION AUTHORITY." I'll certainly question anyone's authority who would perpetuate suffering or ignorance.
Posted by: Robert | December 03, 2007 at 12:48 PM
Dear Robert,
I read your rules about posting before I posted. I wanted to see how my opinion to the political comments would be received. I thought I was being respectful and honest about you while chatting with Carol about her thoughts. But my irony touched a sore spot. Sorry.
