Astrology Class - Venus in Taurus quintile Uranus, Saturn, and Mars - Uniqueness and Gifts!

We have an on-going Mars-Saturn conjunction square Jupiter, but another important factor to consider is that Mars and Saturn are biquintile Uranus. The aspects of the quintile series all bring forth unique or specialized qualities, material gifts and particular forms of genius, or the "quintessence" of a person or situation. Currently Venus is also sextile to Mercury and both are quincunx to Pluto, forming a "Yod," or "Finger of God." This would indicate NOW is a particularly unique and important time for all of us.

Venus is on the degree of "the Spanish gallant serenades his beloved," and symbolizes the need to define role, function, and imagery precisely to compel the manifestation of "the beloved," however you imagine that to be. It is "the power of well defined desire" to confirm our individual role in our social matrix. It is a degree of "role playing," and in quintile to Uranus it would indicate we are rehearsing for roles to come unique to our individual qualities and purpose.

Venus at this degree quintile Saturn at 9 Leo would seem to symbolize that we can use the intensity of our feelings to shape our creative expression in unique ways, and Venus quintile Mars at 10 Leo would seem to indicate that we have just "made it through the night," and reached a point of transfiguration in at least two areas of our self and our lives. And yes, just wait till Saturn hits that degree, since it should crystalize whatever is now an impulse or initiative, a role glimpsed and/or rehearsed.

The Mars-Saturn biquintile Uranus shows as a unique interactiveness between form and genius, the past and the forever creative NOW. It is a highly individualizing and specializing time, filled with innovative possibilities, so move quickly, since this aspect is already exact, showing the focus available these past two days. Saturn will continue in biquintile for about two weeks before the aspect is past, so use this unique time to best advantage.

This means that three points of a Great Quintile, or 5-pointed Star pattern, are occupied by the three socio-cultural planets. Many unique and specialized things are in motion in our world at present, The void points are to be found at 21 Libra and 3 Capricorn, so it's time to enjoy life and relax to regenerate, as well as get new experiences so you can remember what it's like to be a Soul in a body. These voids are filled in twice a day by the Ascendant, early afternoon for Libra rising, before Sunset for Capricorn rising. The Moon will next trigger the Star when it moves through late Taurus.

The 5 points consist of the two I've just mentioned, as well as 15 Pisces, 27 Taurus, and 9 Leo. Obviously the star impacts points within two degrees of those I've mentioned, and if you have a planet at any of these points, you're being given a unique set of circumstances that can reveal a gift, or something unique, about you and your way of doing your Being in your world.

This obviously impacts certain generations more than others. For instance, those who were born the last half of 1943 through August 1946, February through July 1947, October 1978 through April 1979, September 1979 through November 1980,  and March through September 1981 are being given gifts of a Pluto nature, while those born between 1951-1954 have Neptune at the Libra point,and those born between 1984-1986 have Neptune on the Capricorn point, which in both cases fills in a fourth point of the Great Quintile, giving very specialized and unique gifts of a Neptunian nature.

1940 through early 1942 featured both Saturn and Uranus close to or occupying the Taurus point, giving people born then unique gifts of both Saturn and Uranus. Other Uranus groups being offered unique circumstances or specialized situations demonstrating gifts are those born late 1956, Summer 1957 through Summer 1958, Spring 1959, September 1972 through September 1973, Summer 1974, Spring 1988, and December 1988 through December 1989.

Venus forms one of the legs of the Yod with Mercury focusing the energies through the Pluto nozzle at 26 Sagittarius. More on Pluto's spiritual influence on us all at this link. Without going too much into this rapidly passing configuration, it indicates that all the unique qualities and gifts coming through the Great Quintile are squeezing out whatever is irrelevant to your deepest Spiritual power, which you will find in the form of a new dedication, a new selflessness, a consecration to an ideal, and/or a subservience of personal values to a larger service to the human race in a form unique to you and your skills and gifts. Also, since this Yod points toward the Pluto conjunction with the Galactic Center, whatever it is that you're sacrificing to expand will take you to the Source or the vast unknown. We're orienting toward a massive black hole as a result of our productive work yesterday, today, tomorrow and Thursday, so get focused, release inefficient and impure motives, and enjoy defining your role and function you will be playing in the future.

First of all, fun interviewing you last week! Haven't gotten transcript yet - will follow up.

this article intrigued me. Looked at my own chart (Pluto in Leo - it really IS all about me) and found Saturn/Mars transiting 3rd house, opposing (2 deg orb) natal Venus. Uranus (14PIS) transiting 10th, Venus (27TAU) transiting 12th and squaring my natal sun (26AQU) and MC (29AQU). So far this is sort of simple astrolgy

But I'm confused about how to interpret the "empty points" which actually have a lot going on for me. 21LIB is in my 5th house and trines my Sun, ASC (23GEM) & Jupiter (20CAP)! 3 CAP is in my 7th house and squares my natal moon (0LIB) and sextiles natal merc (4AQU).

Since my heart's desire - the GIFT I seek - is a partner I can't help but notice the 5th house, 8th house, venus and moon.

Of course with Saturn opposing venus it is hard to feel optimistic some days...

I'd love your input -this idea of 'the empty legs of the quintile' as being influential is intriguing & confusing to me.

Hi Diane - Yes, the interview was a good one. I'm sure you'll come up with lots of good material to use. As for the empty points, they are voids that show potential for learning or activity. They show where you learn not from direct action, but through harmonic resonance. Don't worry about aspects to voids. Not relevant. However, when something transits those voids, then the aspects to your planets are activated.

Good - that makes more sense - I was befuddled by how an aspect to nothing could be of import.

So humor me a bit further - why then do we care where those points are? Simply to note that when the moon, say, passes there it helps fill in the 5-pointed star?

We care because if they configure in any way with a planet in our chart, that planetary function and the houses it rules are impacted by the entire star. And of course, any planets in quintile specialize and bring forth gifts relative to the houses they are in and rule in the chart.

I feel like the remedial astrology student tonight. I must've made my initial comment incorrectly, or am befuddled by this last. So when I see that the empty points on the star DO connect by aspect to points in my own chart. As noted: <> So the empty points don't CONJUNCT anything in my chart, but they do form connections - is it just conjunctions about which one ought to take heed in this?
