In an oversight, I neglected to mention that since mid-August through September 10th, mas o menos, Saturn will be making a triseptile to Uranus, thus compounding the weird irrationality we’re living with. This septile series where we confront important forks in the road is of major importance, since it involves Saturn and Uranus. These planets indicate where our genius and uniqueness must find a structure within which we can grow and evolve. It specifically affects wherever we have Leo, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
This triseptile was prominent between mid-October 2005 through early January 2006, and we confronted choices then that are manifesting as results now. As I wrote in this article,
This is an interactive irrationality, and produces pioneering cooperative-collective efforts that may make no sense at the time, but create movements of groups that influence the world. The lower manifestation is lots of obsessive compulsive activity among and between people. Many of the pioneers of television had triseptiles in their charts, for one example. It was a crazy, compulsive experiment when it started, with people coming from many areas to create an entirely new medium "flying by the seat of their pants."Over the next two months the binding force (Saturn) will be in this angle with the revolutionizing force (Uranus) which guarantees a tremendous amount of uncertainty, craziness, and general irrationality. These are not specifically in irrational relationship with the Grand Irrationality indicated by Neptune and Pluto, but they do add another layer of non-rational energy to the prevailing condition.
Of course the present triseptile will only last about 2 weeks, but don’t underestimate the changes the world will go through. The present series involves the approximate spans of 17-19 Leo, 8-10 Libra, 29 Scorpio-1 Sagittarius, 20-22 Capricorn, 12-14 Pisces, 3-5 Taurus, and 24-26 Gemini. If you have planets in these spans, that part of your life is being moved through some important choices and changes that will impact your sense of direction for a long time to come.
The Moon triggered the pattern on August 18 (Gemini), August 22 (Leo), August 26 (Libra), and will trigger it again on August 30-31 (Scorpio), September 3-4 (Capricorn), and September 7, at the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, thus making the coming eclipse important because it involves Moon conjunct Uranus triseptile Saturn.
Birthdays most affected by this are those born the middle of the second week of August, the first few days of October, the beginning of the fourth week of November, the end of the second week of January, the middle of the first week of March, the middle of the fourth week of April, and the middle of the third week of June.
Older generations most affected are those born March 1922 through September 1923, February 1924 through July 1924, May 1935 through April 1936, October 1945 through April 1946, August 1946 through January 1948, April-May 1948, late 1948, August 1949 through September 1950, January-July 1951, October-December 1958, July-September 1959, and February-July 1960.
Younger generations most affected are those born January-April 1969, November 1969 through December 1970, May-October 1971, October 1974 through October 1975, April 1976-August 1976, December 1980 through May 1981, October-December 1981, July-September 1982, January 1993 through March 1994, July 1994 though December 1995 and May through October 1996.
Obviously people with a Saturn in the hot zones will be profoundly affected. Those include people born (approximately) late 1926, Summer 1927, February-July 1931, late 1931, early 1936, April 1940, August-December 1943, April-May 1944, September 1947, February-June 1948, October-November 1951, April-August 1952, December 1955-June 1956, September-October 1956, December 1960-January 1961, March-April 1965, September 1965-January 1966, May-June 1969, November 1969-March 1970, June-July 1973, October-December 1976, July-August 1977, November 1980-March 1981, August-September 1981, February-March 1985, October-November 1985, January-February 1990, July-November 1990. May-August 1994, and January-February 1995.
If you were born in any of these time spans, your life will be altered by the choices you make at this time, so choose carefully. That said, don’t allow your decisions to be determined by someone else’s weirdness, irrationality, compulsions, erratic or controlling behavior. Choose what you want YOUR destiny to look like based in your individuality and unique gifts, and find allies with whom you can cooperate in an adventure in destiny. It may seem weird, but it will all make sense down the line.

Hi Robert
Don't know if you do composite chart stuff but my partner and I both have sun in Pisces - he is 16 degrees me 14 degrees. Our composite chart sun is 15 degrees PIsces in the 8th house. How do you think the eclipse will affect this? Is it just intense pressure, or will we not really know how it will affect us until the storm has passed?
We are in the middle of plans to travel together but as far as i know we won't be signing any contracts together (we'll be travelling by car)...i thought the 8th house was legal contracts.
Thank you!

Hi Fishgirl - Yes, I've been doing compatibility and composite charts for decades. Uranus is putting you and your partner through major changes! The eclipse should help you both focus on your individual and mutual light. Some old part of the forms of how you each express your Suns will pass away, while other types of Solar expression should break the surface. You're in the thick of the storm, so you should be seeing how it's affecting each and both of you now.
According to my reference material, contracts in general are ruled by the 7th and 3rd houses. Employment contracts are said to be 8th house, business contracts are 12th, financial contracts are 4th. All contracts are "legal" contracts, though it would seem under the traditional reasoning that contracts about "legal matters" would fall under the 3rd and 11th houses. And you're welcome.

Hi Robert,
i have Sun 10 degrees Libra 6th house, with moon 1 degree Sag in the 7th house, septile the Sun, and Pluto on the other side, 20 degrees Leo, septile the Sun. Now you say that this Saturn Uranus Triseptile is affecting the 10 degree Libra spot...must be kicking my butt, right? any insight?
thank you!

Hi Robert,
I sure enjoy your writing! Your site is lots of good information and insights. I am a Scorpion and the most important missing part of my life right now is a job and, of course, an income. I kind of stuck looking for work for quite awhile...
Maybe you can help me, some light at the end of a long and dark tunnel.
DOB: October 27, 1954, at 1:00 am (at least on the birth certificate!), Sao Paulo-SP Brazil.
Your insights will deeply appreciated!
Thanks

Hi kiwa - Your Sun, Moon, and Pluto are impacted by Saturn and Uranus, and so your life has come to multiple forks in the road. You are definitely moving into your "higher destiny," and should see many things play out in the next few months as Mars conjuncts your Sun followed by Jupiter rolling over your Moon. These will activate the decisions you're making now.
Hi Paul - With Mars approaching your Sun, and Pluto quintile your Sun, you're finishing up some things and preparing for a new initiative. With so much water in your chart, I'm sure you have interesting dreams. Uranus is revolutionizing your life and duties, and your rising degree is the star Sirius, the "Sun of our Sun" said to be the source of all Wisdom traditions on Earth. I'm sure your dreams are revealing some things residing in subconsciousness that when transmuted will help free you of old memories or aversions and help you to see your life in a broader spiritual context. December should be an amazing time for you.
Hi fatchy - Thanks for your words of praise. Usually when Jupiter is conjunct the Sun, opportunity is all around if you can widen your vision. It may be that you need to see your skills in a different light, or cultivate different skills, or even move out of an internal power struggle and find something new to do. A long time ago when I was somewhat aimless for a while, I used my typing skills and knowledge of several word processing programs to do that for a period of time, and it eventually led me to a television production facility where I was trained in all elements of tv production. As a result of that unexpected word processing opportunity, I wound up producing and directing hundreds of hours of television and moved my life into some totally different, but very fulfilling, directions. You should see a shift after your birthday, since you'll have a different Solar return chart for your year that starts then.

Hi Robert- Thank you very much! :-)

Hi Robert, I am a newbie when it comes to astrology so your insights are very helpful. Me and my husband has been going through a financial crisis, for one, we are both freelance. So there is no steady income to rely on. We've both held steady jobs before but due to idealism we opted to follow our dreams. Well, with the economic crisis, we didnt get a good headstart. What do you think the stars are telling us? Should we take a different direction in our carreer or pursue our dreams. My DOB:5-May-66 4:35pm & my husband: 29-Aug-66 4:59am
One other thing, we are in the philippines, when you write about beginning of summer (june), we are already at the end of summer here. Will it still be applicable to us? Thank you.

Hi Vee - Thanks for your praise of the site. Freelancing is always a hit and miss proposition. Either you work for someone else, or you work for yourself. Others often do not pay us what we're worth, or the job provide enough stimulation. Working for self never guarantees a check unless you get royalties or other passive income. I've always believed we need more than one source of income, since we need income while we attempting to fulfill our dreams.
So it's not an either-or proposition, so much as a both-and situation. Either learn a skill others want, or figure out a public need and give them that product or service. This article from a while ago plus the one following it give my take on how to make a living while following your dream in these times.
Uranus is forcing everyone of your vintage to revolutionize, and think creatively, going with the inevitable. Once you read the linked articles I'm sure you'll approach some things differently. As for the seasons, I use what everyone in the Northern Hemisphere uses: Spring begins March 20-21, Summer begins June 21-22, Autumn begins September 22-23, and Winter begins December 21-22. The only exception to these are in the Southern Hemisphere, where the seasons are reversed, changing on the same dates. Good luck on reinventing your income generation.

Phew. I'm going to tiptoe for a while here, Robert; thanks for the heads up. Hope things are well with you and yours.

I just wanted to say thanks Robert!
In addition wanted to let you know why your so great!
Here in the Uk Astrologers tend to make themselves unapproachable and behave in an Holier than thou fashion. That is of course unless your paying for a chart £150 a time. I don't doubt there are a few occasions where you think...WILL PERSON GIVE ME A BREAK!! myself included :D
Thanks again for your receptiveness & approachability.
Now I'll leave you alone until Xmas...;D

Welcome back, Rayne - Glad to see you check in. Things are in major flux, as with everyone else. Some things are great; other things are ending as a result of duplicity. At present I'm taking a break in the political arena for a few weeks, but will be back with focus in the future. Sometime a strategic retreat preserving one's power, integrity, and character is the best way to deal with meltdowns.

Hi again HP - Sure. You're welcome. It's all good. I know what you mean about astrologers. The US is slightly different; here a thousand dabblers pretend to be experts at inflated but reasonable prices to fleece those who cannot pay for a pro while they wait to find something else to do. Eventually the human race will re-learn that in the words of the immortal Professor Franklin, "either we all hang together or else we shall all hang separately." And you're very welcome. Enjoy the UK for me. Definitely keep posting from time to time.
