As we anticipate the Virgo Solar Eclipse (more here) we enter the final 9 weeks of Jupiter in Scorpio where our faith will be expanded, as will our need to clear out the old to get ready for the promise of wide-open things to come when Jupiter enters Sagittarius. We are in a “twilight,” or “end-game” period of the year-long Jupiter in Scorpio, as well as the old Mars-Jupiter cycle that began September 2004 at 1 Libra, a Transfiguration degree, which I’ll discuss in tomorrow’s article. Today we’ll focus on Jupiter.
The areas where we have Sagittarius and Pisces, whether the houses or planets in those signs, as well as where our Jupiter occupies, are where we are finishing up whatever we’ve been dealing with since last November. It has been a time of loss and regeneration in those zones of activity, and now Jupiter is rapidly finishing up its time in Scorpio, moving forward at about 11 minutes of motion per day, a very fast clip. This means that our Jupiter influenced areas are in rapid change, since we change degree symbols every week.
Also, we are experiencing the final Jupiter square Neptune discussed in this article which links to others explaining this aspect we’ve been dealing with since December 2005. Since Jupiter is the Earthly ruler of Sag and Pisces, and Neptune the Spiritual ruler of same, we’ve been challenged to make our worldly expression of Jupiter more in line with our higher Neptunian ideal, even though that may have entailed some difficult, frictional, or painful changes. All of us have certainly turned the corner, hopefully away from deceptive, hypocritical, or scattered energies, or people who are this way.
Jupiter has some very good aspects made to it throughout the coming weeks, so allow yourself to expand your faith through actions and interactions even as you finish up lessons connected to its final square to Saturn. Besides the Saturn square (itself harmonized by planets transiting through mid-to-late Libra and early Scorpio), once Venus makes its final semisquare to Jupiter in early October there are no more frictional aspects (except the Moon) for months to come. So in this “twilight time” between the larger tides of change affecting us all, reflect on the past two years, see how you have been freed to become a more perfect image of your archetype, and take a breath and bow for what you’ve accomplished. For all truth seeking Souls, it’s been a long march, and we’re finally seeing the end of being “made more perfect” that will show us our true independence from circumstances, and our form of helping others, or being helped by others, as we embrace this new freedom.
Tomorrow we’ll take a closer look at the Mars-Jupiter cycle that’s ending over the next few weeks, and hopefully it’ll make many things about the past two years much clearer.
