Since August 2006 and until February 2007, all the planets (except the Moon about a third of the month) occupy the span between Saturn in late Leo and Uranus in mid-Pisces, with late Pisces, all of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, and early Leo unoccupied. This empty span creates an imbalance and sense of division in the atmosphere, defined by the opposition of Saturn and Neptune. We’re living with this for awhile, and it impacts all of us.
This modified Bowl configuration gives a sense of division, of what we are experiencing in distinct contrast to what we sense is a lack, or need. It also shows a heightened sense of difference between things, ideas, and activities, since the pattern is defined by division. Depending on where it falls, it could mean concentrated activity in any of the four quadrants of our lives, or even split between quadrants, with the activity bridging those inherently different areas of our experience.
The Bowl leads with Saturn. The atmosphere forces us to confront Saturn in our initial approach to whatever the transits are bringing us in the way of experience, practical, emotional, psychological, or metaphysical. The occupied span shows the focus of our experience in the events the transits represent. The coming compression of inner planets will all move through quintiles to Saturn, so the points of concentration right now are showing you a way to Heart power focused in effective response.
Depending on where the Moon is during these months, the emphasis shifts. It either accents the inner working of the occupied span, bringing focus to it, or it is outside the span, and when now near either brim, serves as a nozzle to focus the activity of the occupied half.
Soon the inners will activate the emergent waxing square to Saturn as they each form a new cycle with Jupiter, getting ready to close out the old Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus cycles started between December 2005 and March 2006.
Everything begins with Saturn, and from there we go through all the intermediate sign experiences in our inner and outer events until we wind up at the far end of the Bowl in Pisces. At the close of any span of experience at this point in time, we confront the radical, bizarre, mysterious, synthesizing power of Uranus, Divine Revolutionary, in the realm of the Dream Endings of Pisces. Individuality can now be most easily found by embracing unique, unusual, and perfect manifestations of the higher power of Synthesis in the universal feelings of Pisces at the end of whatever we’re doing.
As you know from other posts, due to what degrees Uranus has been accenting, we have all been beckoned to a new realm, and proven what we had to in order to fulfill that function. We have been tested for our willingness to embrace a new Way, walking on with maturity, stability, appreciation, and confidence in the soundness of going a new direction. This time is the final season of that entry into the new way, and will lead to radically different things by March 2007.

Robert:
Do you think the present confusion and feelings of great personal transition are a generational thing, or have you noticed that people of all ages are experiencing this? Just curious.

Hi COF - Great Question. The Grand Irrationality affects us all, and is the sharp edge of historical change. It is a perception in time. Time is the medium through which we measure experience, so basically at this point in evolution we're all Eternals moving through a time-field processing experience on the physical, emotional, and mental levels.
That's what we're ALL experiencing. That said, different generations are experiencing different fluxes in the field. Some generations are more sensitive to Neptune opposing their Pluto, others Uranus opposing their Neptune. Everyone with Pluto, Neptune, or Uranus in Leo or Scorpio is getting jazzed by the Fixed T-square, while everyone with Saturn in a Fixed sign is going through major changes. Anyone with any major planet in a dynamic aspect with any other major planet is going through changes described by those planets. I deal with the bigger fish in the Spiritual Astrology articles, posted regarding the Ur-Ne-Pl transits.
