Astrology Predictions for 2007 - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces
by Robert Wilkinson
Today offers a brief overview for each sign about the focus of 2007. As I noted in the article, 2007 - The Outer Planet Influences, the year will be essentially three seasons. The first half of 2007 is dominated by Jupiter trine Saturn, followed by a middle period of very strange irrationality piled on top of The Grand Irrationality, with the last four months of the year having a more grounded, Earth quality after Saturn moves into Virgo. What follows is a sketch of what each sign can expect to experience in the next 12 months.
You can also interpret the following paragraphs by seeing the first sign paragraph as applying to the first half of that sign, and the second paragraph for each sign as applying to the second half of the sign. This will yield more information if you know your rising sign, or Ascendant. Also remember that this is only the briefest of sketches about a rich field of exploration, and that as a symbolic language, some of this may have to be reinterpreted based in your "local" or individual conditions.
Aries born in March or the first week of April: It's all systems go! You're future's wide open and travel is in the picture. Have more confidence in your self expression, reshape your pleasures, and get ready to work hard for big rewards toward the end of 2007. March brings new motives and new karma.
Aries born the second and third weeks of April: You're still setting new foundations, eliminating old scattering visions, attitudes, and unhelpful memories of your past. Get ready for new ways of expressing your creativity toward the end of 2007. Spring brings a new light and understanding after the death of old forms.
Taurus born in April or the first week of May: Open your imagination to a wider vision of what you want and you'll get it. There are truths from your past that are untapped, so eliminate all scattering influences. This year you can progress with confidence. By Summer, old friends leave, new friends and ambitions come forth.
Taurus born in the second and third weeks of May: Loosen up with others and give them more room to move. Teach and learn from the freedom between you and them. Learn all you can about communications, perceptions, and let others get closer. As old goals and relationships end, forgive and bless the passages.
Gemini born in May or the first week of June: Try not to run off in all directions at once as you find yourself constantly adapting to everyone else's agenda. Keep learning how to express more heart, courage, or strength, and cultivate closeness in relationships even as you give them freedom. An old public persona comes to an end.
Gemini born the second and third weeks of June: Get a new job or health regimen. Look up foreign cures, or travel abroad to get healed. You're learning how to be a steward of values while letting go of an old truth or morality. After March, a new life direction and public image, so do nothing to damage your reputation.
Cancer born in June or the first week of July: Go for work that allows you to travel, study, or gives more more freedom to do your thing. Value love more than you have, be more responsible with your resources, and your financial situation should stabliize this year. A loss portends a shift in your morality and your future.
Cancer born the second and third weeks of July: Take heart in what you have so you can support your recently matured self-image. Learn from children by giving them more freedom or a higher view, and find a form of self expression that helps your momentum. A loss will show you karma, a larger vision and a greater compassion.
Leo born in July or the first week of August: Take a chance in your self-expression, don't overdo your play, and let out the incredible being that has come forth the past year. You have the power, the discipline, and the sense of responsibility to captain a space ship, so let go of fear! This year every loss portends a gain.
Leo born the second and third weeks of August: This year will give you outlets for what you've learned the past year, so go for it! You can safely express the vision of the matured, trained power you've cultivated. After March you'll forgive and forget, or at least get a bigger view of why things have been the way they've been.
Virgo born in August or the first week of September: Your home should increase in value this year, even as you go through major relationship changes. You'll learn a lot from your family, and find you're more sensitive, even intuitive with others, even as you have no control over what's ending and the rewards you're receiving.
Virgo born the second and third weeks of September: Your mind will open to bigger vistas and ideas than you've thought about in a long time. Re-think your motives, be mature in examining the broad sweep of your life, and reshape your goals, ambitions, and friendships. Your partner will have a whole new motive.
Libra born in September or the first week in October: Many people close at hand open opportunities and new ideas. There will be lots of activity in your mind and environment, so be structured in how you want to accomplish your higher aims. An old work ends, as does the self-destructive behavior of someone close.
Libra born the second and third weeks of October: You should be able to make a lot of money this year, but plan for the future and don't get scattered. After a period of recent visibility, you're ready to draw down your winnings. Old pleasures end, even as you get an integrated vision of a way to be creative.
Scorpio born in October or the first week in November: You're definitely on a roll this year, generous, thoughtful, optimistic and willing to use what you have to feed a bigger future. Professional advancements are probable that bring big rewards. It's the end of an old way of being with children.
Scorpio born the second and third weeks of November: A very high profile year, you're finishing up an education of some sort, or a period of preparing to play a bigger role in your world. See your life from a broader perspective, and let go of old pleasures since a whole new world has already been shown to you.
Sagittarius born November or the first week in December: Watch out that in your enthusiam you don't try to do too much at once, or go in too many directions simultaneously! Get a more mature or realistic view of what the future holds, see the bigger picture and other possibilities since after April an old way of life ends.
Sagittarius born the second and third weeks of December: You're as lucky as it gets this year, which should help you stabilize your life to a greater degree than you've known up to now. You see what's coming, what is, and by Spring will see hints of major future transitions, so plan for the long term accordingly.
Capricorn born December or the first week in January: You've very protected as you transition from an old way to a broader future. Travel is likely by the end of the year, or movement toward a wider future. Adapt to other's values, accept losses with courage and heart, as an old way of interpreting things is about over.
Capricorn born the second and third weeks of January: Open to new friendships, new goals, and new group effectiveness. You're reshaping how you relate to others, their fears and limitations, so let go of any need to control. Spring brings the end of an old environment and the beginning of a new movie of your life.
Aquarius born January or the first week of February: You should get a job promotion, or greater recognition and freedom in your professional capacity. See yourself as a teacher or bridge between widely divergent views. Show maturity in all interactions, and get ready to say goodbye to old ambivalence regarding values or money.
Aquarius born the second and third weeks of February: You're preparing for the promotions promised for those earlier in your sign. Take care of your health, show heart and courage in getting ready for some greater job or role to play, and let go of any vague fears about what you value or what you have.
Pisces born in February or the first week of March: Take care of your health, and don't be too rigid with those in your service. Be willing to be more visible this year, and show more humor or wisdom when you're in public, There is much that is ending, so see the whole view even as the pieces leave one by one.
Pisces born the second and third weeks of March: This is a re-education for you, or travel to distant lands or points of view. Cut loose creatively to find a greater truth or Spirit, and be a source of wisdom for those who are younger. It's definitely the end of the end, so let go gracefully. There are larger worlds to explore.

Hi Zush - Welcome to the site. Please share this with your friends, since each can find something of value here. We are an eclectic bunch, all Eternals trying to find what knowledge, love, and wisdom we can in this four dimensional reality. And of course, generating goodwill when and how we can. See you on the front page.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for how much you write on this site. I love to read it all. Sadly, it sounds as though 2007 will be the exact same for early Sag as always. Same old mistakes. If after 8 years of Pluto transiting our sign we still can't get smart, I guess we never will.

Hi Robert,
How are you? Its been a while that i wrote u...
this article is really optimistic... good day for me to read this today.
I am moving into hospital tomorrow, the 14th and my gender reassignment surgery takes place on the 16th of december, my birthday. I feel like i am on the edge of a monumental leap... there is no real fear i think but an ambiguous sense of anticipation and nervousness.
U have been a source of inspiration and strength the last few months for me.
Thank you
Do throw in a prayer for me.
love and smiles

Hi Toni - I would think the coming year would be great for Sagittarians if they have found a measure of moderation and don't leap before they look. Should be lucky, freeing, and open doors, a good thing after being bound up by Jupiter in Scorpio for a year.
Hi Anahata - Good to hear from you. May your passage be easy, may you receive the results you want, and of course may you find contentment despite the apprehension. Glad there's no fear. Thanks for coming by at this important time and may you be surrounded by "a herd of angels," as one of my favorite Dutch Aries puts it.

Eep, now as a Cancer and owner of a sizeable worrywart, I'm fearing that "loss", you're speaking of...
But besides that I read your articles with great pleasure.
Posted by: me | December 13, 2006 at 11:08 AM
Hi me - Remember that the loss could be in the past rather than the future, and that you cannot lose what really belongs to you, nor hold on to that which is no longer true for you. Besides, you already prepared for this period between 2003-2005, which is when the really heavy lessons came down. Now it's just the consolidation, the attraction, and the stabilization you're going through, so breathe easy.
You've got some things about to surface and will fulfill a long term process in 2007-2008 that began back in April-May 2006. You may want to check out the Mars Stress Zone articles from that period, as well as Sept-Oct 2006 to get a larger view of what you're in the midst of. The next turning point is in late January through Feb 2007.

I am hoping things look up for me in 2007. 2005/2006 was a doozey, a divorce, death of my grandmother, lost my apartment, son diagnosed with autism..I've been feeling very lonely and isolated lately. A nice guy to cuddle up with would be grand!!
I don't think I can stand anymore bad news:(

Hi Nicole - Well, I'll post the article on the year of the Fire Boar (Fire Pig) in the near future, and perhaps you have better things in store than you imagine. Divorces are tough (had more than one meself!) and deaths of grandmothers are very tough, though expectable. I loved mine, and the mixed feelings when they go is not easy. Glad they're not suffering, sad they're not with us any more.
Sorry you lost your apt, but as a great Master of the wisdom once said, "there's nothing more senseless than getting attached to a piece of property, since we all eventually have to leave, if only when we die." Tough medicine, but spot on. May you find solace, comfort, and companionship in the near future. And I still think that when your "day of labor" is done, you'll find what you need from your "family" at the feast awaiting you when you finally get back home. Aum and blessings to you in the Holyday season, and may you have a much better 2007 than 2006.

Hi Nell - thank you so much for your kind words of support. I am always glad to be "a real joy" for others. That's very sweet, and I thank you. Blessings on your 2007, my dear.
Hi Sandhya - I believe that education is the most important thing for us to learn how to interact with others, learning to listen in order to serve the greatest good in the invisible future of evolution. Success should not be measured until one is dead, so that freed from the problems of the 5 senses and the mind we are not obstructed from knowing Truth. You will do better in the near future. The trick is to be content with dharma.

Hi, Robert,
Many visits, first comment. Your insight is always great, I read at least twice a week. I've reading mixed predictions for 2007 for folks w/ Sun in Taurus, especially regarding career, however you gave me hope... I've been waiting for my break for a while (I've started to think I'm not that talented - not that we all have to be) - I do okay but never "outstanding". Oh, well. Anyway, I'm a weird Taurus, love luxury but can deal with money. Can you help me understand why? This is me: Born in April 22, 1967 (Saturday) @ 00:30 - Recife, Brazil. It's gotta be that Saturn connection.
Keep logging these wonderful things, I'll be reading and sharing w/ my friends. I have at least one already hooked on Astrology.
May you have many blessings and lots of warmth in 2007.

Hi Robert,
I've just discovered you site. It seems great, with all the information you share to make astrology dance between fate and freedom. Make me remember Rudhyar... Just a short question: do you have any information about saturn's transit for leo? (I'm libra ascendant). Thanks again for the good site. I'll share with friends
Posted by: Mauricio | January 06, 2007 at 10:32 AM
Hi Solanginha - Thanks for your vote of confidence. Taurus is in a preparation phase with inventiveness favored. Unfortunately, talent is often unrewarded due to circumstances beyond our control. However, a good product usually sells itself if marketed correctly to the right people at the right time. Your talent may be about to bust loose, or you may find that these talents can be transferred to something more fun where you can make some money.
With your configurations, be more decisive, stop getting into useless power struggles that only throw you off your balance, and don't give others so much power. Do more diligent homework while trying to think in broader terms. You have great concentrative ability when you try, but your Venus in Gemini "other-pleaser" often distracts you from your pioneering focus. Try to make your breaks through speed and adaptability while not hesitating so much to deliver your sweet, durable side. And of course, thanks for your good wishes.
Hi Mauricio - Rudhyar of course was a profound influence on my astrological training, and I had the blessing of meeting him on a couple of occasions a long time ago. As for your request, go to How Saturn in Leo impacts Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces in 2006. In that article there's a link to the previous day's post where I spoke of how it impacts different generations. I still have to write about Saturn's influence on all signs this year as it ends Leo and enters Virgo. Stay tuned, and thanks for turning others on to the site. We're all in this together.
