Hi all. In case you're wondering why there are no long personalized reports for 2006 or 2007 for each sign, here's the story. I got part way through the 2006 reports back in late 2005 then was overwhelmed with work, preventing me from completing them. I was creating reports over a thousand words in length, and just cannot do that much composition any more for free, given how much I'm composing for this site. I didn't even try this year. So if you want to know what's in store for your sign in 2007, please go to this link, where I've got several posts addressing all signs, as well as each sign individually, both Western and Chinese. Those are the only free reports at present. Those who want personalized longer forecasts have to contact me for a personal (paid) session.
If you're really interested in years past, here's the link to the reports for each individual sign for 2004-2005.

Hi Vijayashakti - Only we as individual Spirits can determine whether we go "the way of the Sage" or "the way of the Hero." Each has its difficulties, each has its rewards. There is no fixed rule except that we must determine for ourselves what our inner directive is in a given particular season of life and adapt accordingly. Every time I've tried to renounce the world Dharma has pulled me back into service. Every time I've tried to embrace the world Dharma eventually pulls me into retreat. One thing to note - even the presence of the question implies the answer. If you were at peace doing your current form of Dharma you wouldn't be asking this question. So I suppose it's up to you to figure out what forms of Spiritual service you intend to do in your world, and if you can continue to live in your current circumstance while doing what you must.
With NN in Scorpio, you learn more from your losses than what you hang on to. Perhaps by generating emptiness you can attract what you need, materially, emotionally, and mentally. Go to Spirit and inquire what the mystery of Life holds for you. Meditate on that, disavow all superficialities, and find the wisdom-tradition you can venerate and eventually teach. You are a natural devotee - the trick is to find what to be devoted to in the various chapters of life, since each season brings different demands. Perhaps you're here to serve the greater good of the ashram, perhaps the world. Only you can know, and this can only be revealed over time in the "doing-ness."

hi Robert. i really appreciate your thoughtful words and they do ring true for me...the pull between the dharma and the world. the to and fro. i guess that i exist somewhere between these two worlds. a space that is not easily defined ! but also, that keeps on evolving with each new understanding. i feel to help in the world and share the teachings that i have learned but i also feel the need to live in retreat regularly ! and of course, the process will continue to unfold before my eyes. thanks for your reply. love and blessings upon your kind soul, vijayashakti :)
Posted by: Vijayashakti | May 16, 2008 at 12:53 AM
Hi Vijayashakti - Well, life is an oscillation, isn't it? Dharma is at work whether we're in the world or in retreat, and as it is said, if we would play the piano with expertise we must learn to play the white keys AND the black keys, in many musical keys. And of course, you're welcome and love and blessings on you as well.
Posted by: Robert | May 16, 2008 at 04:02 PM
hey robert, the piano keys is a good analogy. i will remember it ! i still don't know where i am going really or what i am doing, despite having moments of clarity, but i am basically happy and basically going in the direction that i feel is most right for me (despite what my family want unfortunately) ! your shared wisdom and reflections have been really helpful. no doubt i will call upon you again once the burning questions come. in the meantime, i will try and be a 'detective of life' ! kindest regards, vijayashakti :)

Hi all - Been gone awhile. Will answer you as I am able.
Hi Suriakumar - Your professional life should already be clearing up and becoming more stable as I write these words. The period from now through next Summer will be good if you pay attention to details and take responsibility.
Hi Brutello - Sure. Will try to keep it up. Aum and all that.
Hi Rachel - I really cannot determine life altering trajectories in a comment stream. But I will say that opportunity is all around you, and your life will open up in a big way beginning January 2009. This is a vision year, where you need to prepare for major changes in home, family, friends, and ambitions between May and September 2009. Best of luck in your studies, and remember that you're still in a period where you get to take some chances that won't have major impact, but what you learn will.

Hi Robert - I'm stressing over my job! What do you see in my path? Everything else has come together quite nicely! I am a Cancer born 7/12/71 Chapel Hill,NC 9:36am
Posted by: Rhonda Villasenor | September 11, 2008 at 01:47 PM
Hi Rhonda - That you'll stay stressed over your job until you practice detachment, dispassion, discrimination, and immediately turn your mind from unhelpful thoughts and feelings into an intense positivity that sets its own agenda and moves in the direction of its true best interests. It sounds like you're doing fine, and from your chart you should be. You have an extremely fortunate chart, and if you can adapt and become a good juggler in your career, it seems like you could hit the top. The next few years look very favorable. This is the time to dream, imagine, learn, quest, and see the larger context of your life purpose.

"you'll stay stressed over your job until you practice detachment, dispassion, discrimination, and immediately turn your mind from unhelpful thoughts and feelings into an intense positivity that sets its own agenda and moves in the direction of its true best interests".
Thank you very much Robert! Although it was meant for another I have found it extremely helpful at this time.
Also, looking at your chart I can't help but ask - if mercury at 29 degrees conjunct mars and your MC provides you incredible drive to write then what can I make of my moon at 29 degrees capricorn in my tenth conjunct mercury and my MC?
Happy Saturday!
Posted by: donna | September 13, 2008 at 09:09 AM
Hi donna - Glad you can find the wisdom in those words, since they are a universal antidote for 10 thousand ills that plague humanity. Actually, Mercury in the 10th conjunct the MC are 30 Aries and Mars is 24 in the 9th. I would think in your case you could find yourself in a very public position through your writings that could appeal to people in general, and women specifically. Also that your home could be a very public meeting place where a lot of ideas are exchanged.

I'm impressed w/your knowledge: can you help provide some insight into my life? I'm feeling very overwhelmed w/school and life in general. My bday is 3/11/70, born in NY, NY, at 9:04am. Thank you!
Posted by: Tracy | October 02, 2008 at 09:53 AM
Hi Tracy - I can only offer brief insights in comment streams. Your life has been in revolution for a few years, and you have new responsibilities and ways of being an equal with others coming to surface right now. Do not try to control others, nor allow yourself to be controlled by others as you mature into a new way of regarding friends, goals, and ambitions. 38 is a year of critical shifts, when you must do right actions to fulfill the vision of 37. Check out your values and truths, and make sure you're willing to use what you have to further the best future you can envision. Rewards as well as endings are coming in 2009, and by April you're entering a new long cycle.

Hi Robert,
I was born Oct 17th '71, 6:03pm Indian time.
I'd like to know if this Mercury RX is going to
play a negative or positive role
in my professional life.
thanks,
Posted by: Roots | October 05, 2008 at 11:05 AM
Hi Roots - Sorry, but the planets don't "make" anything happen and our professional life is in our hands to the degree we are conscious and doing our Dharma. This time will give you insights into your motives, who you were vs who you've become, and helps you to reconsider recent endings and potential futures. You've been through a year of financial-social turnarounds and learned the rules of the new public direction begun in 2006. You've just begun a new 2 year cycle in the area of goals and ambitions. In a few weeks you'll begin to see a greater vision, and will enter a period of questing and wandering, searching for new knowledge and openings. It seems that your 2009 will be extraordinarily fulfilling if you get the larger vision. Expect a blessing in late February or early March.

hi robert i was born in june 26 1986, can u plz bless me with a short basic explanation about my chart. i've gone thru many challenges and life's felt like one big battle through out with very little rest, but i think its all showing signs of change, and i wanted to know if it may have anything to do with the new year coming up, and how 2009 may show any changes in my chart? any comment or advice u have plz share, its a blessing to me.thankx
Posted by: T | December 03, 2008 at 06:53 PM
Hi T - You are learning the rules of the game at present, as well as what's important and what's not in the realm of relationships, resources, and values. Your chart shows a strong need to be self-reliant, self-sufficient, and embrace the ability to move into new directions without feeling hesitant or defensive. You're very sensitive and compassionate, and sometimes you feel things in the world that no one else does. You also have a highly reactive disposition, and need to learn not to abruptly move in contrary directions to your best interests. Get oriented, stop playing power games, remember that sometimes apparent defeat spells true spiritual victory, and use your genius with foresight to assure supply of your needs in the future. In 2009 concentrate and be self-disciplined to get clear about what role you will and will not play in the world, revolutionize your view of opportunities and what power you have to dream the future into reality, and work in an organized way with patience and perseverance, cutting back on old indulgences while furthering your better chances in methodical ways. You'll do fine if you just hang in there and refuse to take things too personally or react in ways that don't further your long range interests.

Hi Robert,
I have another question(s) for you: My fiance and I are getting married on Dec. 31st, but since it falls in the mercury retrograde shadow of Jan. 11 2009, we think we'll do a legal ceremony on an earlier date--I was thinking Dec. 18th.
My birthday is 3/11/1970, born in NY, NY at 9:04 PM (in an earlier email I told you AM, but it's PM), and his is 3/2/68, born in Kassel, Germany around 4 PM.
Can you give insight as to whether this date is favorable (18th), or if we're dealing with negative aspects? Do you have any opinions or knowledge to share concerning this? I think the front shadow of Mercury retrograde starts on Dec. 21st.
I appreciate all of your help concerning this! Thank you!
--Tracy
Posted by: Tracy | December 05, 2008 at 12:05 PM
Hi Tracy - I cannot make an educated guess about wedding dates in comment streams. Finding good days to marry is something I do in my regular consulting practice, and they take quite a bit of time to figure out. Dec 18 features a Moon conjunct Saturn square Mars translating anew the Mars square Saturn, and Moon square Sun conjunct Pluto. That doesn't seem a very good time to me. Dec 31st is a better day despite Saturn SRX, and Dec 30th is even better, generally speaking. But everything depends on your mutual 7th houses, their rulers, and many other factors too numerous to discuss here.
One more thing - I've never heard of a Mercury RX "front shadow." For years I've taught that when Mercury first enters the span it will RX back through, it's important to take note, since those issues will be subject to review or a different interpretation by the end of the process. No shadow to it. That span of experience begins Christmas day. Mercury may or may not play a major part in either of your relationship sectors. Again, such important things should not be undertaken lightly or with incomplete information. And whatever chart is decided upon, I've found that there will always be challenging factors, many of which will fulfill themselves before the wedding so you each know what you're in for.

Hi Jeannine - You'll get some very interesting visions by taking note of the coming Jupiter transits. 47 turns us deeper, and creates the seed of what's to come. Without a doubt, people who find visions of practical solutions to our world problems will be very busy the next couple of decades.
Hi Patricia - You were born at the end of the Year of the Wood Goat. Our rising sign is determined by what time we were born, and shows our self image, or physical body, and oour view on our world of various outer life affairs.

Hello Robert
I was born January 26, 1956 6:30am so I just
had a birthday. I haven't been able to get focused at all
the last few years. My energy goes up and down. One minute
enthusiastic then low energy and can't figure out what to do.
It is so not like me. I am usually sure of what I want to do.
Is this new period going to be better? this is one of the
clearest sites I have looked at. I am a healer and the comments
are great as well.
thanks robert
Posted by: patricia soto | January 27, 2009 at 03:26 AM
Hi Patricia - There are too many factors for me to assess why you cannot get focused and your energy goes up and down. You could be going through physical changes or your environment could be a contributing factor. Usually new periods get better dependent on our willingness to learn and adapt accordingly. 52 is a year of crucial changes, with self revelations and things leaving and coming. It's the edge of you knowing what's true for you and what's no longer true for you. This year will be integrating, but also the final chapter in what you began in 2005. A final note - a lack of "knowing what one wants to do" is an excellent time for learning.

Hi Linda - What you want is more than I can answer in a comment stream. You should begin to know more clearly beginning mid-March, with a clear turning point between mid-June and mid-July. This time next year begins a much larger work/adventure for you.

Hi Justine - There are numerous sites where you can get your chart generated for free. Use any search engine and you'll get a list. You'll need a specific location of birth to get an accurate chart. You're probably either late Sag or early Capricorn rising. And of course, Happy Birthday and Solar Return!

Hi Robert,My DOB is 06th Aug 1974 @ 00.54 AM in Jorhat, India.I am presently working with an MNC in Abu Dhabi, UAE.I am not happy and stressed with my career at this point of time and living in constant fear of loosing my job during this so called 'global recession'. Will I be ever jobless in the future? When will I change my job or will I get success if I continue at my present job? Please advice
Posted by: Sadique | May 17, 2009 at 04:09 AM
Hi Sadique - I am sorry you are not happy. From time to time that is a normal condition of being human. Stop fearing loss of job or you could magnetise that to you. Instead learn to think in the future, see what your society will need a thousand days down the road, and make movements toward mastering that. We are all jobless from time to time until we embrace what we are here to do according to Dharma. Then we are never without work, and will never retire. This is the peak of an old cycle, and though you may become more insecure by this Autumn at not knowing what's happening, you will still be in a new cycle of activity. Whether you have "success" at your present job or not, you have a greater destiny you will not truly understand until beginning Nov-Dec this year, which is a preparation for new adventures and renewals mid-to-late Summer 2010.

Hi Robert, Many thanks for your advice and prediction. Very surprisingly, just two days back I received an interview call from a public joined company. The interview went well and I think I am almost selected, I am yet to receive their formal offer. Could you please let me know will this one materialise or not? If yes, should I proceed to accept their offer or should I wait until nov-Dec this year for another surprise? An early resonse would be highly appreciated. Thanks again.
Posted by: Sadique | May 23, 2009 at 10:08 PM
Hi Sadique - This is not the forum to make specific calls about complex matters. I would think if you get an offer and there is no better one around, then you take it. And if something better comes up in 6 months, consider taking that one. This is Mercury RX, so it's likely that this one won't turn out as expected, but it could lead to other things, whether later this year or earlier.

Hi Robert
Love your site.
I have a question about natal moon phases. I was born august 12,1969, at 2:32 am in Niagara Falls ON,. Which I am told is new moon. But I feel way more balsamic moon. More isolated, moody, difficult relationships. Although the self centered part of new moon fits.
I'm not all bad. Just wondering if maybe I am balsamic moon time and there was a mistake. Or maybe something else speaks to those qualities.
Posted by: tamara | May 31, 2009 at 06:55 PM
Hi tamara - You have a Sun in Leo and a Moon in Leo. You were born hours before the New Moon, so you do in fact have a Balsamic Moon. Those traits you mention are not necessarily those of a Balsamic Moon. And you do have Venus in Cancer square Jupiter in Libra which can make for occasional imbalances in response. The primary factor in the difficult feelings you experience is a very close Moon square Saturn. But it also gives enormous strength of character and self knowledge, and the ability to achieve whatever you want, once you make Saturn your friend.
Posted by: Robert | June 03, 2009 at 06:39 AM
Great thanks I had a feeling about balsamic moon but couldn't find the confirmation.
If you don't mind finding out about my son. Born Sept. 27, 2000, 1:01am in Vancouver BC. He has more new moon energy but I thought he is balsamic.
I greatly appreciate your time.

Hmmm, friends with Saturn eh? I will have to work on that.
Posted by: tamara | June 04, 2009 at 02:20 PM
Hi Tamara - He's also Balsamic. Study Saturn's virtues and you'll do fine.

Posted by: Rajeev | June 07, 2009 at 11:43 PM
Hi Rajeev - What you want is beyond what can be done in a comment stream. I can say that opportunity is all around you, though some things must be unveiled between now and October. This is a transition period. You should be able to do something at a distance from where you are, or something of an educational nature. Partnerships can be the source of great quick opportunities, once you learn how to externalize your energies in a gentle, stable, creative commitment.
This is a turning point in living your Dharma, and some things must be sacrificed if you are to move forward productively, since Pluto made its station in a Yod, or Finger of God, to your Venus sextile Saturn. Trine your Mercury, you have the ability to bust through misconceptions. Your chart shows you to be a "kind professor" with a fairly sharp mind, but prone to pessimism and thinking inside too narrow of a box.
Be willing to be a good student, study, read, write, and keep your mind on objective facts rather than subjective concerns. I suspect you will find multiple opportunities beginning September and you should be in a solid situation by October or November.

thanks and looking forward to your insight.
Posted by: farwah | December 18, 2009 at 07:18 AM
Hi farwah - What you want is more than I can answer in a comment stream. First, we're always "in control" of our destiny, in the sense that we control our responses to events and these shape our destiny. Your issues involve a natal Sun and Mercury conjunct Neptune with Jupiter square Saturn. Grow your personality to express your Soul, stop underestimating your potential, get motivated and get your values and ambitions in alignment so you won't feel a sense of defeatism. Mars in Pisces forces you to march to your own timing, and not oscillate between power and fatigue through not knowing your limits. You have a "Bundle" Jones pattern, showing you must find your inner skills so the world will come to you rather than vise-versa. 22 is about learning the rules of the game within limits. 23 is about questing to find a wider view or understanding. Just take nothing for granted, and show your enthusiasm skillfully.
