Finally! The drought of no planets in Earth signs just ended this morning when the Sun returned to Taurus. Except for a few days over the next few months, we're finally past the long period we've been in where planets were very infrequently in Earth signs. Earth will be more of a constant factor between now and 2025, except for a few days in the near future.
I discussed some of this in Astrology Imbalances in March 2007 - There Are No Planets in Earth Signs Right Now where there's another link to why this is important, and how it affects all of us. It has to do with the proportion of Elements at any given moment, which is the atmosphere of how Spirit, Mind, Feelings, and Matter are interrelated, affecting the collective consciousness as well as the collective unconscious.
Since Taurus is the sign symbolizing how we can enjoy our time here to a greater degree, it's a month to allow the light of this gentle, stable, and peaceful sign to permeate our being and show us the way to authentic, enjoyable self expression, "gentling down" into a calm stability the recent agitations of Aries. I'll post the coming week's trends soon.

Hi Robert,
Earth is good, we can all use the gentle grounding. Thanks for being there!

Hi Lori - Yes, it's time to see the light of gentle kind sweetness, stabilizing the recent initiative of fiery Aries (which at times seemed to flame out of control!) Enjoying Taurus very much. Good solid energy, helping us ground in the face of recent ungrounded abstractions.

In comparison with mid April, Sun in Taurus indeed brought me more peace of mind and some pleasant sense of quiet yet firm determination. We needed it. Time to get realistically grounded.

Hi Robert - one more thng why I am happy Taurus is here--something funny was happening from mid April till about 20th, when the last incident had occurred. I subconsiously were setting small fires, and this didn't happen to me before: First one on the 15th of April at the condo association party, when I put a napkin over the candle and didn't see it, I walk away and everyone "Oh my God! Fire!". Then at work, next day, I put bread on a toaster and walked away and although it was not supposed to be a fire aftre your toast is done, but toaster burned to a crisp! And so on, another incident was similar. So, yes, I am glad earthy power is here

Hi Larissa - The Sun is the ruler of your Ascendant, so as with all us Leo rising people, you'll vibrate very strongly to its gentle energy. As for fires, this may be a mindfulness exercise reminding you to stay focused and never walk away from anything that could combust unexpectedly. At least the days you went through this had great aspects so nothing got out of control!
As an Aries with a Sun-Mars conjunction, that's been a big lesson for me this life, and of course it's also happened to many around me, often with disastrous results. Fire is a very potent thing, and can destroy as well as illuminate. I know that one "up close and personal." So be mindful, be careful, and enjoy the gentle, hopeful energies of Spring as you rebuild from the coldness of Winter.

Thank you, Robert. I have a problem to stay focused where kitchen is concerned. That is why I set powerful load timers for everything I do in the kitchen. My mind is never there even when I cook. How's international travel for this year? I plan to take off soon!

Larisa, you were lucky to deal "only" with a burning toaster:) To have a heap of burnt metal instead of the fridge in the kitchen and all the flat covered with sooth like a chimney(end of august 2004) is another pair of shoes:):):)
Love for dancing fire, including candles, and playing with fire energy which is preserved in words can become real extrem(e)...

Hi Larissa - I would think with Jupiter favorable to your Sun and Asc travel and higher explorations would be good. Some days and months are better than others of course.
Hi Svetlana - Yes, fire are best tended to carefully lest whole buildings burn down! Just make sure to always blow out candles - or refrigerators! ;-o(There's a story behind this I'll share sometime).

Hi Svetlana and Robert -- starring at fire is puryfing. Starring at water is even better, it recharges me (I guess here when my Scorpio moon comes out);-) I will try to be careful, but during the course of many years, I burned way too many frying pans, leaving it on the stove and walking away. who knows where my mind is when I am cooking?! My constantly nitpicking ex-husband Virgo was not happy because I had to buy a new frying pan! Big deal for him! That is why I always love when people can cook so I don't approach the kitchen myself, unless it is my only focus at that given moment.
I plan to travel in June, must be good, right? This year I want to travel. So many ideas, so little time.

Hi Larissa - I also love meditating on water, with my Jupiter in Pisces. When younger, the Atlantic Ocean was my best friend (literally!) And of course, I love to cook and STILL occasionally forget when I have a pan on the fire! June is a great month for people with strong Aries and Leo. And as "they" say, "Life is short - live it up!"
