Astrology Stress Zones Predictions for June 2007 Pt. 1 - Mars leaving The Grand Irrationality with a month of favorable aspects

Mars triggers whatever happens of note in our charts. In June 2007, Mars moves from 13 degrees of Aries through 5 Taurus, making a Grand Fire Trine to Jupiter and Saturn just after it septiles Neptune in the Grand Irrationality. This shows we have been and will continue to initiate things related to Aries and Scorpio planets and houses in our charts which will solidify after Mars enters Taurus 2:26 pm PDT on June 24. It's a rare month when Mars makes no afflictions to any other planet except for quickly passing ones made by the Moon. The next affliction to Mars is the semisquare to Uranus at the end of the month.

The beginning of June ends the period begun in late May when Mars triggered The Grand Irrationality through its septile to Neptune and biseptile to Pluto. Mars is now extending into the most recent Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto cycles it began between January and April, and this is a time when we should see maximum progress relative to all three of these Spiritual planets. Though recently it's been weirder than usual, we also hit critical forks in the road of our lives in several areas, and now should be able to make great strides in fulfilling our purposes.

As I wrote last month, Venus and Mars complete the activation of the Grand Irrationality during the beginning of June. Mercury was in the Gemini zone May 11-14, the Sun was there May 21-27, Mars occupies the Aries zone May 27 through June 3, and Venus the Cancer zone May 29 through June 2. As you can see, May 27 through June 2 is highly activated, and specifically May 28-29 when the Moon's in Scorpio and 6 of the 7 pointed star was lit up.

In late May and early June, the times of day when mid-Virgo is on the angles are especially important, as then all 7 points of the Heptagon will be active, and no doubt this time span will be one to remember, when major life-altering decisions are being made and events are moving us in the direction of our Higher Destiny. During this 9 day span when all the points of this heavy configuration will be triggered at various times, we confront major forks in the road of our lives based in what's been happening recently. This pattern will not be triggered again by any of the inner planets until mid-July.

Since Venus and Mars are the planets involved in early June, it will trigger changes in the houses ruled by these planets, as well as any life areas where we have planets in those hot zones. The houses they occupy as well as rule will be most directly affected. By staying on top of where these zones are triggered by outer events symbolized by the transiting planets, we are given a heads up on what’s coming. During transits to any of the 7 zones of influence, expect shifts, changes, forks in the road, irrational or compulsive behavior in self or others, and important times of decision.

All septile series aspects indicate strange choices, crucial decisions, and general edginess and the sense that forces beyond our control are at work. Not necessarily bad, as long as we remember that we may not be able to reason our way through what's happening and the energy doesn't get too crazy or destructive. This aspect set moves us to make choices that affect our potential "higher destiny." The days mentioned above are the times when the generic weirdness is triggered, and bring decisions that may not make much sense but have to be made anyway.

This month we hit the midpoint of the Sun-Mars cycle that began October 23 at 30 Libra, a degree of philosophical completion. Another important cycle began in December 2006 with the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter at 4 degrees of Sagittarius, marking the end of the last Mars-Jupiter cycle that began at 1 Libra in late September 2004. The cycle that began in December kicked a new period of expanded activity into motion through February 2009, when they will next conjunct at 10 Aquarius. These larger cycle conjunction points are important in showing us where our outreach will occur in the future.

In late early Aries through June 4, Mars keywords are "Realization" and "Desire" within the Act of "Differentiation." Dr. Marc E. Jones, creator of the Sabian Symbols, says this span this span is Manipulating, Critical, Original, and Specializing. June 5 Mars enters the second half of Aries with the keywords of "Examination" and "Potency. This span is like the first, except that it is Generalizing rather than Specializing. Mars enters Taurus on June 24 (June 25 in Eastern Europe and points east of there), and the keywords shift to ""Experience" and "Substantiation." Dr. Jones says this span is Sustaining, Ideal, Efficient, and Specializing.

These terms will be seen working most clearly in the Aries and Scorpio houses in our charts, as well as wherever we have mid or late Aries or early Taurus by house. We move this month through dynamic new inspired actions moving us forward in concrete ways, finding potency that will be made substantial beginning late June. We are moving from desire to grounding our power, and into a refined and focused ability to manipulate energy through original forms of critical thinking and application. This will yield a sustainable specialized efficient ideal in July.

We're now almost two-thirds of the way in the important Mars-Saturn cycle. As noted in past articles, their last conjunction in June 2006 at 9 Leo indicated

...this 2 year cycle is about authenticity, creativity, play, and reconnecting with our enthusiasm in mature and measured ways wherever we have early Leo in our charts... simplify, stabilize, and see a bigger picture to move into a broader cooperative group purpose. Be a gentle angel, cut back on extravagances as well as pessimism, and find ways to enjoy life without overdoing it... For eleven months, Mars has developed the promise of whatever that conjunction portended for us. The growth process quickened in December... January 2007 showing a natural self-expression of the truth of this cycle... This stabilized the turning point in the larger “destiny cycle” in late November at the biseptile, where important decisions were made and meaningful actions were taken.

February helped us adjust to prepare for whatever surfaced the second week of March when Mars opposed the original conjunction point. This provided us a sense of what needed to change, what has been coming to importance, and what we can expect for some months to come, relative to the lessons that have been presenting themselves since June 2006 in the early Leo area of our charts.

In March, things cut loose in ways that began to bring Spirit to matter, and challenged us to be eager in learning a greater way to live and not take anything for granted. Appreciation was the big keyword, and that theme will continue to be important in June and July 2007 as the gifts continue to come from Spirit. September through December 2007 will be a big time for those who are open to the blessings we've been promised, and followed through on the Neptunian lessons.

There are many interesting and favorable aspects formed to and from Mars this month, with only the semisquare to Uranus at the end of the month marking volatility. In early June, Mars septiles Neptune as it is biseptiled by Venus, already discussed earlier. After that, it's a run of great aspects: trine to Jupiter, sextile from the Sun, trine to Saturn, quintile from Mercury retrograde, tredeciles from Venus and to Saturn, and quintile to Neptune and sextile to Mercury at the end of the month.

Expect to get very clear signals about the future you're supposed to be pursuing this month, with major productivity and interesting, unique, and specialized interactive gifts and circumstances making for unexpectedly great results throughout the month. Things will be strange in the Aries, Taurus, Libra, and Scorpio sectors the first few days of the month.

The whole month there is major harmony between the Aries and Scorpio sectors relative to areas ruled by Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces, with some very unique insights and circumstances connected to Taurus, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius late in the month.

Hi Robert, I am going through a very confusing phase at this time. Tomorrow I am quitting my job, even though I have had no responses from other employers. I had a very tough time with my colleagues.
I do see that Transiting Uranus is conjunct my Natal Chiron and Transiting Jupiter is Square my Natal Chiron. I cannot find any interpretations on the above transits.
I hope you can clarify what is going on at this time.

Hi Dina - Employment and profession have nada to do with Chiron, and a detailed explanation is more than can be done in comment streams. Your Uranus/Pluto is being challenged by transiting Uranus and Jupiter, showing you should open to many different views, learn all you can while suspending final judgment, and achieve closure while accepting blessings and opportunities on all levels preparing you for major expansions this December through early 2008. Opportunity will be all around you then; you just have to "greet the guest."

Quite a site you've got here; bravo and thank you, to put it very briefly ! Paragraph 7 this article you refer to the new Sun- Mars cylce bgun in Dec. 06.
Well, I have no planets where that cycle began - 4 degrees SAG. in my early 10th house - but I note that this cycle ENDS exactly conjunct my natal Mars 10 degrees AQ. in my first house.
Any pertinent wisdom for me to keep in mind apropos this cycle? Am a 12+ degree Scorpio
Sun conjunct Saturn, 9th H. which is square that natal Mars. Have a 0 deg. AQ. ascendant and a BIG 1st and 7th house (almost 2 whole signs)due to somewhat high lat. birth.

Just remember that you're harvesting the yield of the last 12 year cycle through late this year, so let go, accept what you get and what's leaving forever, and know it's before the beginning of what's to come for a long time. Hi Robert, what an unstoppable month! How do you see relationship between two Aries sun, one Aquarius Moon and another Scorpio moon? Business, agreements, etc.

Hi Larissa - There's much more to business relationships than Sun/Moon combos. Two Aries have a lot of energy, but the square of the Moon shows different emotional makeups, each strong and fixed in purpose. In any business analysis, much depends on where the planets fall in each other's houses and the chart of whatever contract inceptionalizes the business relationship. Of course, the bottom line is the honesty of each and how cooperative the interaction really is. As a Sun in Aries and Moon in Aquarius, I'm sure they are idealistic, self-reliant, capable of taking care of business, and for sure expect to be paid well for their services. Usually Aries are as good as their word, but sometimes things not defined are taken differently by different people, so specificity is always a good thing in all business arrangements.
