Hi all. I have some important pieces of information to share. First, I'm not in Europe yet, and my trip is now on for August. The reason I had to postpone is that I am in process of buying a home in New Mexico, and so have been dealing with necessary paperwork which I could not do if I were half a world away. So my apologies to my European friends, but we will get together not that far down the road.
A little background. As many of you know, I keep a fairly packed schedule, between posting articles and answering comments, taking care of my "life coach" and consulting sessions with clients, and keeping up with emails, not to mention having a full personal life and a cat-teacher who definitely keeps me busy! I have recently finished a 21 month run of working 6 days a week, and am taking some time to regenerate while keeping all the other stuff happening. While I don't mind working, it started feeling like the train was coming off the rails, so it was definitely time to slow down.
I have no doubt many of you have also gone through a variation of the same thing, since all "Truth Seeking Souls" have been put through a rigor of training of some length during the past two years, getting ready to rock and roll at the right time. I've now finished my training period, and for me, this IS "the right time." And as it is with us all, that means paperwork, packing, and sorting through many things as I prepare to transfer my time and energy to a place where the air is clean and it's not impossibly crowded, loud, and polluted.
Over time, I plan to create a center of learning there, as well as an integrated media center where the world can come, physically or virtually, in order to connect with human and other resources to further whatever good works they feel called to do. I have a huge metaphysical book, audio, and video library that has been in storage for too many years, and would someday like to be able to republish some of the out of print masterpieces.
Eventually I'm hoping what I build can include cable television and 24/7 streaming video from a website that connects with many other groups trying to create a better world. Of course that will take a fair amount of time and money, as well as energies of people ready, willing, and able to make such a group effort real. I suppose whatever is permitted by dharma is attainable over time with the right vision, plan, and direction of resources.
I figure it's more of a possibility now than ever before, and the time is right for a global gathering place in physical and virtual reality. Maybe down the road some of you will want to take a break, and come to a place of beauty and other amenities too numerous to mention (even if it is a bit far out!) Sometimes a journey to a distant mountain range is good for the body and Soul.
Anyway, I figured it was time to let you in on my rapidly changing plans, and the promise I'm seeing for the future. I'll still keep an outpost here in the City of Angels for as long as I can, since it's where the world knows how to find me. As I get things developed where I'm going, I'll for sure be letting people know the new contact addresses and numbers. And now it's back to petting the cat....

Robert,
Congratulations on your move, spatically and to an expanded level of activities! May I ask where in NM? Its name, the "Land of Enchantment" truly fits this beautiful area. I think the Santa Fe area has a lot of "Aquarian" humanistic, ecologically and creatively aware energy. The Taos area is one of the spiritual powerhouse areas in the world, in my view. Wishing you rest and renewal at this time too. My stray cats who started following me on walks with my dog (one cat is a runaway who has a nice family and beautiful home but prefers my garage --- I think he's eccentric, and finds my space more interesting than his more conformist family's) send best wishes to your cat-teacher! Sara

Hi sara - Southern NM. And I look forward to re-exploring northern NM, as I haven't been there in over 25 years.
Hi Helen - Looks like things are in motion for many of us. Glad you're aware of what's up and making your move. And yes, see you 'round the parts, as "they" used to say.

Real oxygen, moments of complete silence, a red-tailed hawk passing by, majestic sunsets combined with your enthusiams & inspiration.... Well, who wouldn't be happy for your new direction!
We walk in gratitude, Jan

Congrats to you, my friend!
Santa Fe has always been a dream for me. So many people I've met along the way have always told me that is where I belong and have never been.
The idea for a center of spiritualty sounds exciting, moreover, timely and I hope someday as a multimedia artist that I may have the honor of using your facility joining you in spreading the love!
Buona Fortuna!

Robert, what a coincidence my daughter called me today and told me that she has decided to move to NM as early as July. This is major for her since all she knows is NYC. She is leaving the nest to create an entire new nest for all of us in NM and of course we will all join when the time is right for each of us, Alex and myself. This is great news to know that you will also be in the same neck of the woods. Warm regards Bella

So happy for you, congratulations! It alls sounds very exciting, very promising. And I definitely believe you are one who can manifest your visions. I am so glad I happened by this community, its a connection that I hope to maintain and grow.
blessings,
Tamara

Hi all - It'll be a welcome relief indeed to breathe real air and be able to go into relative solitude to contemplate the vast skies of sunrise and sunset in the high desert. I used to regularly visit the Sangre de Cristos, and Mts. Blanca and Crestone are truly old friends I haven't seen in too long. Of course, I suspect I'll be making a few appearances in Santa Fe and Taos, since there's major action going on in Northern NM if my contacts are accurate, which they usually are. Thanks for checking in, Bella! Glad to hear your daughter is hip to blazing the path for you and Alex. NYC is not a healthy place for humans or creatures. Exciting, dynamic, and fast - but not safe.
Having a creative center where many of us can connect, play, and create while inspired by the environment isn't a bad dream! I see this and other such efforts as part of the "string of pearls," a term describing my concept of the global group of diverse groups all interrelated in one way or another. Each has their own practical and ideal function based in who's cooperating to what intention. We're forming all over the world, since we know the current dying systems cannot last long. Cooperation is the keyword of all such projects, since no one person has everything needed to bring forth the best. When each does their best with an eye to cooperative initiatives, a synthesis takes place and unexpectedly great things happen very easily, despite the usual worldly inertias.

Congratulations Robert! NM is a wonderful place for you right now. Many blessings are in store for your center and I know that you'll have a great time creating it! This will be a major year for many of us -- I am glad (and not surprised) you are starting such a positive project. The world needs more of these higher vibration projects.
Take Care, Sonja

Hi Sonja - Well, at the close of a major life chapter and the entry into a new one, there's always a sense of wonder and awe at what shows up! Been in LA, NYC, Austin, and other major ciudades for waaay too long. Looking forward to the clear air and occasional silence. I believe we've collectively entered the front edge of a great evolutionary leap in how we relate to each other and all that is. The years ahead will spur everyone with a brain and conscience into their higher interests, since after all, we ARE on a collision course with a higher "destiny" over the next 2000 days. I can envision what we presently consider "miracles and wonder" to become a regular part of our lives, though we must remember that occasionally ;-) the birthing of a child is not a comfortable affair. Beautiful, filled with love, devotion, and awe at the workings of the "Great Mystery" but easy? Any woman who's ever given birth knows the answer to that one. Welcome to the 21st Century Divine Mother consciousness. Every so often humanity re-invents their notion of "God." Welcome to the history of the future.
Hi Diana - Surfing a hundred-foot tsunami is definitely a thrilling experience. At least we have a great soundtrack, and a great promise.

congratulations I can totally relate to the way you are feeling about crowded and poluted places. I really want to leave the big city and move somewhere much healthier for me. I have to decide where that where is still. I think bringing people together is a wonderful thing. I do this with music and music events. I am not doing that right at the moment. But I have been taking some time out and it will go into a mode retraining also so I can move into the next phase of my life. Good luck and I hope that I can come and visit one day.

so much movement as of late for so many! A truly exciting time, good luck in NM. I am moving from philly to beautiful western NC on june 1, leaving during the blue moon. Ironic and humbling the obviousness of the cosmic plan- thanks for providing greater clarity, helping us all to know we are on a great path!

Robert,
Sounds almost surreal...i have been thinking of making some real estate investments in NM as well :-) must be your esoteric pull,,i really believe in that stuff yaknow !
Besties and keep us fed !
Posted by: abacus | May 27, 2007 at 04:02 AM
Hi Micheline - It took me many years of contemplation plus waiting for other "destiny" factors to unfold before I knew where my next assignment would be. And yes, the community you'll work and play within is a critical factor for all of us looking toward the future. I also used to do musical events, and believe the coming years will bring a renewal of that particular form of social connectedness and celebration. And I'm sure we connect whenever it's appropriate.
Hi Meghan - Best o' luck getting out of the city! Leaving behind bus exhaust and cheezesteaks and rude people is tough, but I'm sure you're up for the adventure! ;-) You're most welcome for whatever I can offer to help make sense of a process that doesn't make sense from the usual human angle of view.
Hi abacus - Critical piece of info - Just don't buy overinflated anything, since there will be continued fallout over the real estate scam perpetrated by speculators the past decade. NM isn't for everyone, and even then, there are parts of it that are still pretty remote, which brings challenges in terms of regularity of supply. Of course, if you don't mind living a mile high (or more!) in elevation, and very dry climates, then it's probably one of the places for you to consider. One thing - Sony Studios in Culver City is relocating many of its postproduction services near the airport in Albuquerque, so I suspect that 400 sq. mile area will be booming in years to come. Just a tip from the cosmos...

Robert,
If you're moving to NM, then you need to check this place out.. sounds like you could partner with them in a sense and I know they have lots of funding so see if they're open to your ideas!

I do plan on doing a reading with you (about my global spirit child) just need time to adjust and it sounds like you need time to relax.
All the best,
Elizabeth

Hi Jennifer - Thanks. I've actually gained power and optimism since deciding I'm not in LA indefinitely! A true sense of freedom and self-renewal.
Hi Elizabeth - Will check them out. There are connections being made all over the place that provide possibilities for the future, and since everything's in motion, I'm learning how to go with the flow. Of course we can do a session whenever you like. I'm relaxing as I can, but in terms of booking don't postpone too long as I get packed well in advance.

Hi H - Glad the tape continues to yield new insights. I knew it would. Good that you feel liberated with new perspectives, since nothing is impossible if it's true for us and we find the right point of view. I'll bet the mystic isles are beautiful this time of year.

Hi Robert,
Welcome to New Mexico! It's been great to see the transformations underway here over the last several years. Will be fun to enjoy the puzzle piece you are bringing to this ever evolving story-picture grand adventure we are on.
Cheers!

Hi giverny - Yes, well, we're all in this together. Sometimes our "salvation" only comes as we're willing to move with the flow - something about two boats and a helicopter come to mind here. ;-) Great sign that a whale and her calf were there to greet you and remind you that life is pure potential, and that sometimes the quickest way to the goal involves some roundabout energetics. A lot of things aren't for the resume, but for the consideration and wisdom attained through reflecting on how we handled "the intersections of fate and free will." Best o' luck and I'll see you when you've finished this part of the passage. Till then may you make lots of bucks and friends.
Hi Terry - Yes, well, lots of puzzle pieces I still haven't figured out, but maybe they're as much for others as me. I have noticed that in my life I'm often the seed carrier for many gardeners.

Pluto zinging my 19' Sagittarius Moon in the 11th (Jupiter now also) along with having Mars/Pluto/Saturn conjunct in Leo in the 7th House, and being in my 2nd Saturn return have absolutely frozen me with energy. I would greatly appreciate some insight from you...I enjoy your words of wisdom so much, thank you for being out there for all of us.

Hi Sue Moon - Jupiter should be restoring your sunny spirits for a while to come, and your Saturn returned cleared your decks of old hinderances you no longer need, so welcome to the rest of your life! I suspect you're a lot more focused, and this August should show you major elements in what you've learned and how to apply it in your world. Uranus square your Moon may become erratic from time to time, so find a way to make your genius serve a need, rise to unexpected opportunities that take you by surprise and take better advantages of the offers others give you. Be simple, efficient, and alert, and respond dynamically to the demands others make on your talents.
Hi Rebecca - On your migratory route again, eh? Travel well, travel safe, and maybe we'll get to reconnect again someday. Definitely do the printing, and of course, if there's anyone out there that needs to be turned on, by all means.... Thanks for the appreciation!

Wow! All the well wishes of people above are a true testiment to your good work and your ability to reach people with profound and articulate words and thoughts.
I listen to the tape of your reading for me when I'm stuck in traffic on the 405. But fortunately, you will no longer have to worry about such things as sigalerts. Good luck to you and your future journeys. I hope you'll still be available for readings.
Best,
Marcie
P.S. Desert sunsets are magnificant!

Hi Marcie - Thanks. I won't miss the 405! And so far, I still have an open practice. Looking forward to desert dawns and sunsets.
