Astrology Stress Zones for June 2007 Pt.2 - Mars stimulating Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

by Robert Wilkinson

Mars activates and accelerates the pace of events in our lives. People currently going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or those having the hardest time in the first half of June are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorns born the first two weeks of April, July, October, and January. In the second half of June, this applies to mid and late April Aries and Taurus, mid and late July Cancers and Leos, mid and late October Libras and Scorpios, and mid and late January Capricorns and Aquarius. If you were born in these zones, focus on what constitutes responsible action, given these birth periods show more highly agitated energy than usual.

Astrology Stress Zones Predictions for June 2007 Pt. 1 - Mars leaving The Grand Irrationality with a month of favorable aspects

by Robert Wilkinson

Mars triggers whatever happens of note in our charts. In June 2007, Mars moves from 13 degrees of Aries through 5 Taurus, making a Grand Fire Trine to Jupiter and Saturn just after it septiles Neptune in the Grand Irrationality. This shows we have been and will continue to initiate things related to Aries and Scorpio planets and houses in our charts which will solidify after Mars enters Taurus 2:26 pm PDT on June 24. It's a rare month when Mars makes no afflictions to any other planet except for quickly passing ones made by the Moon. The next affliction to Mars is the semisquare to Uranus at the end of the month.

Creative Centers - Conscious Community Cooperating

by Robert Wilkinson

Besides a great alliteration, it's one model evolving for human progress. Since we are interactive beings, human evolution brings lessons in the interpersonal realm. How we dance with others will determine the roles we will play in the evolving world careening toward some major changes over the next 2000 days.

Astrology in May-June 2007 - The Blue Full Moon in Gemini-Sagittarius

by Robert Wilkinson

The coming 11 Gemini-Sagittarius Blue Full Moon occurs at 6:04 pm 31 May 2007, early morning June 1 east of the Madeiras. The Solar degree is one of "new vistas of concrete, conscious development," and the Moon is one of "physical enlightenment" and "activity dominated by fate." The Moon is in the Grand Fire Trine quintile Neptune, with inspiration fed by the Sun in Gemini tredecile Neptune. This will bring powerful manifestations around 23 Leo, which no doubt will be crystalized over the next few weeks by Saturn. Be resolute and patient as you demonstrate your training while the Grand Irrationality swirls around us.

Ch-ch-ch Changes, all for the Good

Hi all. I have some important pieces of information to share. First, I'm not in Europe yet, and my trip is now on for August. The reason I had to postpone is that I am in process of buying a home in New Mexico, and so have been dealing with necessary paperwork which I could not do if I were half a world away. So my apologies to my European friends, but we will get together not that far down the road.

The Week of May 28-June 4, 2007 - Grand Irrationality in Full Swing, Mercury enters Cancer, Blue Full Moon in the Americas while Mars enters the Grand Fire Trine

by Robert Wilkinson

This week begins under the beams of the 26 Taurus May 16 New Moon, but takes a big turn on May 31 at the Full Moon falling at 11 Sagittarius-Gemini. Trust your body wisdom and get it in gear, since the Fire trine can give wings to what we've been working toward since March. The other big news is that Venus and Mars are in the Cancer and Aries zones of the Grand Irrationality, showing this time is one of making major decisions about where we're going and who we're going with.

Happy Video Birthday to Bob Dylan, America's Poet Laureate

by Robert Wilkinson

His work is vast, awesome, majestic, and compelling, We haven't known an American poet who embodied such electricity since Walt Whitman. Happy 66th, Lucky Wilbury. You were one of my most potent influences as a teen in 60s Amerika, as well as when I wrote songs. Some of your offerings still have the power to blow the illusion to the far side of Pluto. May you have many, many more birthdays, songs, and whatever else floats your boat! Great videos and more below the fold.

The 12th House

by Robert Wilkinson

This article is a response to a comment asking for my take on the 12th house in our charts. While the 12th house has a reputation for being a house of sorrows, secret enemies, and all "bad" things in our lives, it's also where we reap a harvest, come to finality around certain experiences, and get to see "the movie of our life" from a larger holistic perspective.

The 21st Century - An Age in Transition

by Robert Wilkinson

We live on the edge of change like few other generations in history. There are global forces in motion affecting us all that will alter the course of destiny on every continent in ways unimaginable to our grandparents. It is evident that we're on a 10 year rendezvous with making the history of the future as we sort through the creation, preservation, and transformation of our assumptions about matter, time, space, energy, life, our planet, and each other. The good news is that everything points to a much better world in the future, despite the many current vectors showing us the need to learn, adapt, and become skilled in new ways to move safely through the difficult times ahead as the old systems crumble and die.

Some Thoughts About Sun Sign Astrology and Solar Charts

by Robert Wilkinson

Been away from the computer for a few days reconnecting with an old friend from across the continent. Today will be short, but cover several things that have come to me via email. Yes, Sun sign astrology can be just as effective as a natal chart for seeing what's up, what's coming, why and when. Though there are some differences, Sun sign astrology can serve as a valid substitute if the exact birth time is unknown. I've had great success over the years helping those who don't know their birth time, since the other planets don't move very far each day, and so can be determinators of the highest level in helping us understand the timing on things.

The Week of May 21-28, 2007 - Sun enters Gemini, Mercury sextile Saturn trine Neptune stationary retrograde opposed Pluto before entering Cancer, and Venus trine Uranus.

by Robert Wilkinson

This week is under the beams of the New Moon of May 16 at 26 Taurus, stimulating that house in our charts and any aspects made by the New Moon to our natal planets. The big news is that the Sun enters Gemini, which will shift our transiting Saturn lessons, and Neptune going stationary retrograde marks a major sea change in our lives and the lives of nations, collectively speaking.

Why Is There So Much Fear Right Now, and What Can We Do About It?

by Robert Wilkinson

Well, the first thing is not to yield to it, or give it any more reality than it is due, which is none. Fear is a natural response, but also a learned one. There are very few things we natually fear, but there are many things we've learned to fear, like being alone, being with someone, being unloved, not making enough money to live and thrive, being fired, evicted, or cut loose without resources. In all of these cases, action speaks louder than feeling fear! There are always things we can do to transmute fear, but we must act on them if we are to have any sense that our practice of overcoming fear is more real than the fear we feel.

Divine Mother and the Age of Aquarius - We're 21st Century Beings!

by Robert Wilkinson

Today we take a new look at a very important article outlining a major consideration in viewing our times and the decades to come. This is an era of the dawning of global compassion unlike anything we've ever known, a time of redeeming the promise of humanity freed from the traps of fear, hatred, and the delusion of separateness. Spiritual Astrology in 2007 - Pluto Conjunct Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn Pt. 2

by Robert Wilkinson

All Pluto touches goes through long term radical transformation. It can feel dark and mysterious, and at times very threatening. It is the embodiment of Bob Dylan's famous line, "And you know something's happening here but you don't know what it is, do you, Mister Jones?" Pluto symbolizes Transpersonal Transfiguration, and purifies all it touches by annihilating obsolete forms. That's why it is such a constantly overwhelming sense of something impending, usually a feeling of "doom," where we know we have a journey to make through an unknown zone unable to see what's on the other side.

Spiritual Astrology in 2007 - Pluto Conjunct Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn Pt. 1

by Robert Wilkinson

Pluto is the Great Purifier. It tends to stay awhile in each sign as it moves through its approximately 250 year cycle, so its effects are far reaching and long lasting. Being an outer invisible planet, it works on the Transpersonal dimension of human experience, and as an absolute Force Majure, it's not something we negotiate with, or postpone, or avoid. The effects of a Pluto transit are irrevocable, and completely transform what it touches through its power of Divine Purification.

Happy Birthday to "American Man-Meat" Steven Colbert - with Videos

by Robert Wilkinson

A most enthusiastic Happy 43rd Birthday to Steven Colbert, born May 13, 1964. With a razor wit and playful (and verrry pointed!) satire, he brings a refreshing humor to America's airwaves through "The Colbert Report" thanks to Comedy Central. This master of "nailed you" has consistently high quality guests who participate in some of the weirdest political commentary imaginable, and sometimes it gets very surreal (like every time he has Jane Fonda or Eleanor Holmes Norton on!) His recent show featuring Willie Nelson and Richard Holbrook was a true stroke of genius.

Happy Mother's Day 2007

by Robert Wilkinson

A Happy Mother's Day to everyone! This day honors all mothers everywhere, and their mothers, and their grandmothers back to the beginning of time. It has an interesting history and intention which has nothing to do with the modern commercial form of this celebration of mothers. In fact, it is truly a day that calls for pacifism and disarmament.

The Week of May 14-21, 2007 - Mars enters Aries, A Taurus New Moon, Mercury opposed Jupiter square Uranus sextile Saturn and Sun enters Gemini

by Robert Wilkinson

This week continues the influence of the recent Full Moon of Taurus-Scorpio, a.k.a. the Wesak Festival that has opened everyone on Earth to a new form of compassion to accept or demonstrate. The swirl of the now just passing Fixed T-square has opened a void where we will attract what we need to enter the next phase of the future-in-the-making. We'll see some things nailed down!

Reflections From the Heart of a T-Square

by Robert Wilkinson

When first learning astrology, I read "squares and oppositions are bad; sextiles and trines are good." As I became more proficient my pre-set beliefs gave way through observing phenomena that didn't fit established ideas about these aspects. It helped that Grant Lewi offered that squares and oppositions are important turning points in a process transcending all the aspects, yet where each aspect has its special place and function in the greater whole that is the entire 360 degree cycle of experience.

Taurus 2007 - Enjoyable Pleasant Earth Spirits

by Robert Wilkinson

May accents the earth sign Taurus, where we confirm and consolidate the new beginnings of Spring. This sign is slow and steady, showing all how to enjoy life, whether working or playing or just hanging out. Being the second sign of the zodiac, this is the time to solidify, capture, and otherwise make solid what we value, or what we need to have to move forward in our life and affairs.

Ricky Nelson - A Video RIP and Happy Birthday

by Robert Wilkinson

Here's another birthday tribute to a Taurus rock 'n roll trailblazer. He bridged the gap between early Rockabilly Rock and Roll and the great American Top 40 music machine, and was enormously popular for years. From the Rick Nelson website, a quote from Bob Dylan: "He sang his songs calm and steady like he was in the middle of a storm, men hurling past him. His voice was sort of mysterious and made you fall into a certain mood." Links to videos and more below the fold.

Astrology Stress Zones Predictions for May 2007 Pt. 2 - Mars stimulating Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces

Mars activates and accelerates the pace of events in our lives. People currently going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or those having the hardest time in the first half of May are Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius born between the 10th and 20th of March, June, September, and December. In the second half of May, this applies to March and beginning of April Aries, June and beginning of July Cancers, September and beginning of October Libras, and December and beginning of January Capricorns. If you were born in these zones, focus on what constitutes responsible action, given these birth periods show more highly agitated energy than usual.

Astrology Stress Zones Predictions for May 2007 Pt. 1 - Mars waxing square Pluto stimulating the Galactic Center, then moves into The Grand Irrationality

by Robert Wilkinson

Mars triggers whatever happens of note in our charts. In May 2007, Mars moves from 19 degrees of Pisces through 13 Aries, making a square to Pluto the second week of May just before it enters Aries, its "home" sign (since Mars rules Aries) on May 15 at 7:06 am PDT. This shows we're finishing up things related to Aries and Scorpio planets and houses in our charts, and preparing for new initiatives that should unfold very quickly at the end of the month when Mars approaches the final Grand Fire Trine of the sequence we've had operating off and on since early March.

The Week of May 7-14, 2007 - It's El Gordo! with Post-Full Moon Wesak, Sun sextile Uranus T-square Saturn opposition Neptune, Jupiter square Uranus, Venus enters Cancer, Mercury enters Gemini, and Mars square Pluto

by Robert Wilkinson

This week things cut loose in a big way due to the Full Moon of Taurus-Scorpio, a.k.a. the Wesak Festival, now in full force. We're finalizing some heavy aspects (for the time being!) while already being offered opportunities to demonstrate compassion in ways unique to our situations. What Mercury has heralded this past week, the Sun will vitalize this next week, so I suppose we can surmise that it's time to rock and roll!

Looking For A New Job, A New Profession, A New Love, or A New Life?

by Robert Wilkinson

I wrote these articles a while ago, but with what I'm hearing lately, I figured I should post these again since they contain valuable information if you're looking for work, a new career, or a new way of seeing how to do your gift in your world while making money and having fun. No one needs to be frustrated by their job (or anything else!) unless they're a) in the wrong one, or b) learning how to re-frame what they do in a job perfect for them. What you're about to read addresses both personal and astrological factors in assessing job and other important life changes.

Spiritual Astrology in May-June 2007 affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces - Part 2

by Robert Wilkinson

Yesterday, in Part 1 we explored the general Spiritual factors involving Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto forces bringing forth our Higher Spiritual Self as we stand individually and collectively at the threshold of a whole new era. I offered some points of particular importance due to major aspect patterns going on in May and June. Today we continue the theme by exploring in depth more about the pressure we're under and within, what it means, and how this is impacting certain signs directly.
