Yesterday, in Part 1 we explored the general Spiritual factors involving Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto forces bringing forth our Higher Spiritual Self as we stand individually and collectively at the threshold of a whole new era. I offered some points of particular importance due to major aspect patterns going on in May and June. Today we continue the theme by exploring in depth more about the pressure we're under and within, what it means, and how this is impacting certain signs directly.
During the past two months, Pluto has occupied 28 and 29 Sagittarius, a span we haven't experienced in 250 years, mas o menos. More on the meaning of this a few paragraphs down. In May-June, it retrogrades back through these degrees, bringing us feedback from external and subconscious sources about how well we're handling our Pluto purification challenge, and come to awareness of what needs to be adjusted by what's coming to surface.
For the first two weeks of May Neptune is at 22 Aquarius, then occupies its stationary retrograde point at 22 Aquarius until June 4-5, when it moves back to 22 Aquarius for the rest of the forecast period. We haven't known this transit for over 150 years, and what is presenting itself will profoundly affect the atmosphere in July, August, and early September 2007, giving us information we will have to use wisely between the Winter Solstice at 10:08 pm PST December 21, 2007 through the end of February 2008.
Due to things that were unveiled in 2006, we've been challenged to rise to some occasion, show our strength, and use everything at our disposal to deal with "an exaggeration of life-problems" revealing our truth and expanding us. To the degree we did this, we've already begun to reap rewards from Spirit for moving through our crises with indomitable courage and strength. We're now in virgin territory on a collective consciousness level. Whenever the outers enter a zone they haven't occupied for a whole cycle, it introduces new dimensions of transpersonal experience.
The first two weeks of May we continue the Neptunian theme in play since late March of learning appreciation and how to demonstrate an eagerness to learn to live more fully, richly, and warmly. For some, a "luxurious self-knowing, or self-appreciation." On May 13, Neptune moves into the degree of its stationary retrograde point, showing us we're all learning to build adequate vehicles to demonstrate our spiritual awareness and power.
Many will find they are able to do things beyond what they used to believe, so get and stay balanced as you train. This is about self-induced movement and self-discipline. Neptune will continue to occupy this degree until June 5, when it slips back into the theme described in the first part of this paragraph through the month of July.
Uranus is now in a zone it hasn't occupied for over 80 years. In 2005-2006 we awakened to a new "higher law" that required that we "walk on" and move into a greater spiritual individuation. This revolutionized our lives in some way and opened the doors to enter a new way of life. We've all had to show courage in recent months and confronted ordeals in our search for a higher truth challenging us to stand up for our ideals.
In 2007 we've gotten the results of facing our inner fears and becoming more physically, emotionally, and mentally ready, willing and able to move into a larger realm. We've now proved our worth or qualifications and gotten rewards, techniques of protection and camouflage, as well as opportunities to rehearse our new individuality in dramatic or important circumstances.
In March and April Uranus helped us feel the source of strength behind and around all manifestations, with potential for a "deep, vibrant realization." We could sense in silence to find our gift to offer to our society, something that fills a collective need. It was a time to go inward to find major inspiration. Early April this expressed as a form of self-improvement, rebirth and renewal of faith through picking up some "challenge." In mid-April we began to revise some ideas back to source which eventually will open up a new environment and wider view. For some, it will mean presenting yourself and your works to a public for approval, applause, and wider recognition in the very near future.
This theme continues through the first two weeks of May, and then Uranus moves on to its stationary retrograde degree at 19 Pisces where it will stay through early August. This is a degree that will release some from old "race" karma, where events can be seen with intelligence, synthesizing our previous survey of life into some form of our Soul energy strengthening our bodies.
This sets the theme through all of 2007-2008 as Uranus continues to make this degree significant in our charts. We shall all be instructed by "our Master," so that by accepting our excellence and effectiveness we can move through the unstable imbalances with relative ease. Eliminate all that diverges from your special skills that ultimately are leading you to perfect and enjoy your individuality, on whatever levels you can do this.
There are many dynamic aspects in May and June made by the inner planets to Pluto in Sagittarius, Neptune in Aquarius, and Uranus in Pisces. During early May, Sun and Mercury are sextile Uranus and waxing (lower) square Neptune as Venus opposes and Mars squares Pluto. Then Mercury is favorable to Saturn and Neptune but square Uranus and opposition Jupiter and Pluto, with the Sun echoing these in the first half of June.
These form a Mutable T-square with a rectangle. The rectangle enables us to turn "every knock into a boost" if we know how to deal with the polarizations while using Saturn and Neptune to come to productive understanding and activity. Multiple realizations, understandings, and productive opportunities interact in a powerful way in a rectange. This one will release its power through the Mutable T-square, helping us make practical adjustments to reorder our lives to make them more effective.
When the Moon goes through mid-Virgo on May 24-25, we shall see a wide but significant reprise of the heavy Grand Mutable Cross in late April involving Moon in Virgo, Venus in Gemini, Mars conjunct Uranus in Pisces, and Jupiter in Sag. Driven by the heavy Jupiter square Uranus, this will produce fracturing that will quicken what is being revolutionized.
Venus in Cancer is relatively uneventful in May until it moves into the Grand Irrationality at the end of May, making double quincunxes to Neptune and Pluto as it moves in and out of the triseptiles. In June, it's accents the trines and oppositions involving Saturn, since it's moving toward a conjunction July 1-2.
The Cardinal (activating) signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, The Fixed (stabilizing) signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and the Mutable (distributive) signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Planets in Fixed signs configure dynamically with Neptune, while planets in Mutable signs challenge Uranus and Pluto. This is a time of emergent crises, awarenesses coming to surface, finding places of greater service, learning to keep the initiative in our own hands, and going deeper into a self-discipline to find the perfect balance, proportion, or perspective in which to ride the waves of the oppositions.
Pluto continues to put long term pressure on people with birthdays in the third weeks of March, June, September, and December. If you have a birthday during these periods, go to the core of your being and clean up your magnetism to regenerate your heart. Be a pioneer, show self-control, concentrate, and throw off the chains in your mind that keep you powerless. Let go of obsessive or compulsive feelings and people, and purify however you need to, becoming the "captain of your own fate."
Pluto's nature is "economy of energy," and it tends to make our lives more efficient through annihilating obsolete life factors. Banish the corrupt, corrosive, or dishonest elements in your life, and regenerate the seeds of power in the houses it influences in your charts. Pluto's long range influence is presently most personally disruptive to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 27 and 30 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as the first degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra.
In past months, Pluto's powerful transformative energies have been at 28-29 Sagittarius, where we built a new dedication, a new consecration to a collective ideal, and found an “endowment beyond realization…” Recent radical transformations offered us a form of unique, more permanent self-expression. We had opportunities to focus intelligence to master the form of things, and should have come to a more sure understanding of who we are and the core of our being.
These themes evolved toward finding elegant, beautiful, and practical forms to link the best of the past with the need of the present in January, introducing a need for exercise of some sort to become more fit for our future goals in February. January showed us "enduring elements of understanding as symbols of the community," helping us stabilize and coordinate our life more effectively. These will be important themes from June through November 2007.
February helped us build our conscious determination through persistent endeavor. These were/are the further manifestation of a new power and effectiveness in the houses ruled by Aries, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. Whatever we learned that led to our rededication to a larger goal or purpose in 2006 gave us imagination, potency, detachment, and an ability to anticipate what's coming. This theme continued in March and April, as Pluto sat steady on 29 Sag.
A final note on Pluto. When the outer "spiritual" planets are involved in an eclipse, they will exert a very big influence during the time span of that eclipse. Since Pluto went stationary retrograde last March 29, the day of the Solar Eclipse in Aries. (More at this link), we will continue to see powerful social revolutions changing our world dramatically.
These Plutonic influences were unleashed by Mars' transit of late Sag on the eclipse degree and its conjunction with Pluto January 13. When Mars transited the first two degrees of Capricorn in the third week of January, it began future reverberations that will take dramatic shape December 2007 when Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are in early Capricorn just preceding Pluto's first entry into Capricorn since 1762 between January and June, 2008. The new evolution revolution should be taking shape in some fairly specific ways. More at this link.
Neptune continues to make life somewhat strange, unclear, or even very weird for people with birthdays the second week through mid-month of February, May, August, and November. If you have a birthday during these times, let go of self pity or feelings of inadequacy, and be resolved to do whatever needs to be done to come out of uncertainty, doubt, and confusion. Get clear about your role, release drifting through things that don't interest you, and find the light of your highest ideal. At this time in history, Neptune's long-range influence is presently most confusing to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 20 and 25 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio.
2005 brought evolutionary accelerations, shortcuts to penetrating insights, greater faith, long-range management issues requiring intuitive foresight, and new ideals and ways of expressing them. Much was revealed and repolarized in late 2005 due to Fixed T-squares and Grand Crosses fracturing old ways of doing our being forever. Old ideals and delusions were shattered.
In 2006 we had to rise to some occasion and be of indomitable Spirit. We learned how to maintain those skills in Summer and Autumn, and what was unveiled has led and will lead to rewards from Spirit in 2007, 2008, and 2009, especially when Jupiter moves over the span where Neptune has been this past year.
Late 2006 finished the "unveiling" that began in Spring 2005 preparing us to rise to the challenges that mobilized us in January. We've now learned resilience despite difficulties, and perseverence in finding inner strength. We will need these in August-September 2007, as well as December 2007-January 2008. In March and April, we needed to begin to cultivate gratitude and openness to opportunities to grow safely and happily into our consciousness through prayer and meditation.
Uranus continues to evoke revolutionary developments or needed renovations and creative renewing in the houses in our charts ruled by Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Its influence is associated with disruptive and/or unexpected changes that challenge us to individuate. Uranus currently affects most strongly those with birthdays the second week of March, June, September, and December. If you have a birthday during these periods, learn cooperation, flexibility, and try to innovate and synthesize things into a newer, broader view. Uranus' long-range influence is presently most disruptive to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 16 and 21 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
In 2005 we completed old business and furthered our dedication to a group purpose through standing up for an ideal. We were summoned to rebirth and challenged to "hear the call," after which we quickened the pace and dropped excess baggage preparing for higher responsibilities. We also learned to "fly by the seat of our pants," demonstrating a form of mastery resulting from our dedication to an ideal, our willingness to persevere, and our hustle. We used these skills throughout 2006 in rehearsing what’s now at hand in 2007.
In early 2006 we quickened again, dropped more unnecessary considerations, and got ready to live a new way of life promised by the Uranus retrograde station of last year. We’ve now entered new areas of self-dedication and an awakening by the "conscious mind to the intuitive Soul realms." The keynote is "the capacity inherent in every individual to seek at whatever cost entrance to a transcendent realm of reality." We have now been "guided into the sanctuary," and have been tested in our purity of heart, our awareness, our maturity, and our spiritual "self-mobilization."
This led to greater responsibilities and ways to prove a greater courage and fearlessness. In the past 2 years, we’ve all endured ordeals, re-affirmed our purpose through a higher realization of truth, and are moving into a new faith. Those who were inconsistent, hypocritical, clutching, fearful, or tried to hide from what was being revealed experienced the "emptiness of dread." We've had to move forward while proving our ability to accept the role we have declared our own.
Spring 2006 gave forms of camouflage to those who are leading a "consecrated life." Those protective forms were important in August 2006 and February-March 2007. Last July we rehearsed, preparing for "the battle to come," which we went through in March 2007.
Other themes from Summer 2006 included having our personal worth certified and finding protective shielding to avoid unnecessary exposure to harsh social judgments. By November 2006 we should have known beyond doubt which Sanctuary we've entered, what ordeals we've gone through, and what dedication we've committed to. January-February 2007 again forced us one last time to prove our qualification, show courage, use our protective shielding, and rehearse before moving into the unknown realms that began in March and last through June 2007.
As noted earlier, important aspects concerning these outer invisible influences, "forces beyond our control," are very frequent during May and June with the major influences being Saturn opposition Neptune and Jupiter square Uranus. Jupiter-Uranus is exact in May. This is showing us how focused we are, as well as how we can be distracted into sudden sideways explosions. Get oriented, put your drive in gear, and get ready to show your individuality in a new expansion. 17 through 19 degrees of Gemini and Virgo are the antidotes, so use discrimination and curiosity wisely, be practical as well as a good juggler, and adapt!
The other big crowbar is Saturn quincunx (150 degrees) to Uranus during May, continuing the influence from last month. This is a health aspect, and shows needed adjustments that may be difficult but are productive. Productive energies are found in By mid-June Saturn re-enters a triseptile with Uranus, a huge fork in the road directly related to the first triseptile in the series that happened between mid-August and early September 2006, as well as the second triseptile made in late February through most of March. These signify huge forks in the road of destiny wherever they fall, and augment the Grand Irrationality with a cooperative collective gathering of energies among those who are pioneering at something new, innovative, and even revolutionary.
Overall, with the planets in Gemini squaring Uranus and opposing Jupiter and then Pluto, get educated in "right action," break up old complexes, listen to the inner voice, and cultivate cooperation over competition. Maximize group energies for greatest results, let the lower mind and live express the future potential and greater view, and take care of details once you find the plan. The trines to Neptune, along with the quintiles and sextiles to Saturn, should make for some very unique gifts coming forth, as well as whole new perspectives that are more balanced than they've been lately.
The primary hot zones will be when the Moon forms conjunctions, T-squares, and oppositions in mid-Fixed signs to Saturn and Neptune, and to Mutable planets a few days later in each case, so count on lots of dynamic activity over the next 9 weeks. T-squares integrate the strength of an opposition, unlike Grand Crosses, which diffuse energy. Stay alert to an almost continual ability to redirect energy according to your focus, whether breaking up stagnant conditions or stabilizing new ones through flexibility, adaptability and receptivity.
All in all, May and June will stabilize recent beginnings while bringing much to the surface that we've worked on for several months. The Moon and Mars are going to form Grand Fire Trines in June, which should activate the multiple brightening promises of previous Grand Fire Trines in action February, March and April. You can find more in previous articles if you need to.
In the past few months we've quickened and opened to new initiatives and pioneering ways of self expression as well as relationships. The waves that appeared in December 2006 are rapidly expanding, and though there may be intense moments, this is a time to take heart and see the hopeful wider life being offered. We can now understand and stabilize our higher Saturnine destiny, showing “Spiritual linkage through emotional stress,” and the blessings that follow linking the above and below within us as we let go of useless attitudes and actions.
During the time of Taurus, steady the effort, learn to enjoy yourself and your life more, and keep things sweet, simple, and gentle, following through on recent initiatives. Since the T-squares throw energy into Scorpio, do whatever purifications need to be done will yield a more mature and stable way of being your Highest Self.
Imagine, accept, be willing to be yourself and your living heart-fire on your own terms. Keep going deeper into your experience of life at its deepest levels, let your new beginnings be harmonized with fiery energies lending permanence to the heart issues, and practice doing many things simultaneously while seeing how things are connected, or not, and what part each plays in the greater picture.
Over the next few months we will continue to receive more rewards from Spirit, and the future beckons! The seeds of the future now stand revealed, and are taking flight between March and June 2007. Though things will seem very intense due to the Jupiter square Uranus, it’s actually a great time of opening after a year of being bound to concentration and purification. Many new cycles began in late November and early December 2006 that will affect us in 2007, so continue to practice your originality, uniqueness, and special talents as the waves begin to give us the ride of our life!

Thank you again Sir Robert for the incredible information that you continue to make available through these pages. In these days of weekend "seminars" for $2500.00 that purport to teach people how to "become who you really are" or to "learn the real secret behind the secret" you remain a beacon of truth, simplicity, and compassion. You give it away for free on this site. May you and all who come here always take refuge in the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha. IMHO the community of people who come here are one piece of the larger Sangha. Happy Wesak old friend. Our little group here in the Sacred Black Hills of South Dakota will be holding our Wesak Full Moon Group tonight. I know that you will be with us.

Robert, Please advise me on the wisdom of selling my current house and buying a cute little stone home. Is it a good time? My Mom will go to her previous retirement village(where she was quite happy) and I have fixed up my current one enough to make a nice profit.B-day 1-24-1961 Leavenworth ks 12:58 AM Thankyou for any advice! you are the coolest astrologist ever! Hi dcu and Aditya - Thank you so much for your kind words. We are all in this together until there is an end to suffering for all sentient beings, all teachings on "transcendence" notwithstanding.
Hi Melanie - I try not to offer advice on life-altering decisions in comments, since there are many variables re: timing on buying and selling houses. That said, if you can make a nice profit, you definitely should do so. As for cute stone homes, well, I suppose if you don't spend more than you absolutely need to, given the future of housing and interest rates in the US (assuming you in fact are in the US).

Dear Robert,
thank you for continuous updates on our 'situation amongst the stars'. I have one question and I was wondering if you could provide me with an answer. It's about Pluto in transits and how much it affects individual chart; it's a slow planet so they say it doesnt affect individual charts much. But what if it's transiting some of our planets? For example; being where it is, Pluto has been making an opposition with my natal Jupiter (in the eighth), for a while now and it wont stop so soon cuz it's so slow. The transiting Jupiter will join the trasiting Pluto soon and they will be both making an opposition to my natal Jupiter. What can I expect? Also, can you please explain what Jupiter in trasits brings? Actually, I understand what it brings when it makes a conjunction (that's somehow logical to me), but what Jupiter brings when it's making opposition (and square) with some of our planets? Jupiter opposing our ruling planet (in my case Mars) or some other 'important' planet?
I am sorry for this long question; I am aware that people ask you something all the time....but I tried to ask something what interests everyone...Thank you very much for one of the most inspiering blogs on the internet.
Blessings,
Ana

Hi Robert, it's Stevo. A health question for Doctor Wilkinson-lol. The Saturn quincunx Uranus. Is this why my carpal tunnel is back in my hands? And my lower back-which bothers me most of the time anyway, seems a bit worse. I've often read that Saturn can be the bringer of arthritis. Sat would've afflicted me with all of this during its Cap/Aqu transits many years ago when I was teaching guitar. I had surgery on both hands then. But now, it's almost like there's a return. Sat is transiting my 1st & about to re-enter my 2nd. Uranus is now transiting my 9th. The only quincunx I have in my natal chart is my Aquarius moon in the 8th to my Jupiter in Virgo in the 3rd. Any relation?
Thx, Stevo

Sorry Robert, I also wanted to mention that Capricorn rules my natal 6th.

Hi ana - It always affects our chart, just in wide spread, profound ways, purifying us of what we no longer need, and taking away some things forever. Pluto afflicting Jupiter shows you need to be careful taking chances, making investments, or doing anything secretive in areas that could backfire and destroy your opportunities and/or protections. Jupiter opposition Jupiter is the midpoint of the larger Jupiter cycle, and means too many things to answer in a comment stream. Jupiter cycles can means anything from investment opportunities to traveling to spiritual expansion to gambling to graduate school to a lack of focus and a thousand more possibilities. Then there's the issue of what houses it rules. This could fill a book. Think that the squares and oppositions of any planet to any planet mark turning points in what areas of life will be accented by that planetary principle.
Hi chickie - Me too. I figure I'll rest when I'm dead. Take a break!
Hi michele - Sure. Just did a talk last week on the Wesak, and I'm told it was a good one by the number of requests for copies of the tape. Been thinking of making it available for sale here, but would want to make it digital, and I barely have the time to answer the comments as it is much less start converting my talks. May try to do a version of it by next week or so. And yes, when everything's so shallow, it's best to go deep. Puts a whole new perspective on things!
Hi Stevo - Saturn quincunx Uranus is a generic widespread effect that can show up in a thousand ways. Individual health issues are reflected in the natal chart, rulers of the 1st and 6th houses, planets there, and examining individual habits to see what tendencies are most likely to surface. I have heard that back problems are often able to be alleviated through Yoga and forms of meditation that help release resistances to moving forward confidently knowing you'll be taken care of in the right way if you just do the right thing. As for the personal chart stuff re health, I cannot diagnose health matters here (or anywhere else for that matter) due to state rules prohibiting such statements. It's a legal thang.

Thanks Robert! I totally understand about the legal. I wasn't aware of it.

I was reading your previous articles about triseptiles, and came across this article you wrote on May 1st, 2007. I found it particularly interesting, since it talks about the unveiling in November 2006. Last autumn was very significant for me, since I had a major fork in the road, unveiling an entirely new direction of my life especially in my relationships.
One part of the decisions I made in autumn 2006 related to a few triseptiles at that time that the other person was having, where we both made decisions together, choosing to move in the same direction, and leave our relationships we were in at the time.
When one of the triseptiles from autumn 2006 became active, it was at a degree which makes it highly active for about a year after.
Even though, a decision was already made relating to the houses and planets involved with the triseptile, and as this year progresses, could this triceptile create multiple forks in the road again?
And, will it usually involve the same issue and/or people involved throughout the time period while it's active?
After reading this article, I noted that you said many new cycles began in late November and early December 2006 that will affect us in 2007, and since the triseptile is highly active for a year, I am wondering if will create multiple ongoing forks in the road throughout 2007 relating to the first decision it sparked in the fall?
Posted by: Lisa | May 29, 2007 at 06:39 AM
Hi Lisa - Any time an aspect repeats between the same planets and/or degrees, it usually is related to other times it happened, and shows the next evolutionary step in that "destiny producing" activity. It may or may not be "the same issue," but it is related to the larger process. The cycles that began in late 2006 deal with the conjunctions of the inner planets with Jupiter, and those will last a year. Some of what you're asking is way too intricate an analysis for a comment stream, but I hope I've been able to make some sense and/or contribute to a greater understanding somehow.
