Spiritual Astrology in July-August 2007 affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces - Part 2
by Robert Wilkinson
Yesterday In Part 1 we explored general Spiritual factors of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto bringing forth our Higher Self as we stand individually and collectively at the threshold of a new era. I offered points of particular importance due to major aspect patterns going on in July and August. Today we continue to explore more about the pressure we're under and within, what it means, and how this is impacting certain signs directly.
During the past 6 months, Pluto occupied 28 and 29 Sagittarius, a span we haven't experienced in 250 years, mas o menos. More on the meaning of this a few paragraphs down. In July-August it retrogrades back through degrees we first experienced February through May 2006, and again December 2006-January 2007, bringing us feedback from external and subconscious sources about how well we're handling our Pluto purification challenge, and come to awareness of what needs to be adjusted by what's coming to surface.
In July, Neptune is at 22 Aquarius, then moves back to 21 Aquarius for the month of August. Neptune hasn't "known" 22 Aquarius for over 150 years, and what is presenting itself will profoundly affect the atmosphere through early September 2007, giving us information we will have to use wisely between the Winter Solstice at 10:08 pm PST December 21, 2007 through the end of February 2008.
Due to things unveiled in 2006, we were challenged to rise to some occasion, show our strength, and use everything at our disposal to deal with "an exaggeration of life-problems" revealing our truth and expanding us. To the degree we did this, we've been reaping rewards from Spirit for moving through crises with courage and strength. Since May, we've been in virgin territory on a collective consciousness level. Whenever the outers enter a zone they haven't occupied for a whole cycle, it introduces new dimensions of transpersonal experience.
July continues the theme of Neptune's stationary point, showing that we're all learning to build adequate vehicles to demonstrate our spiritual awareness and power. Many will find they are able to do things beyond what they used to believe, so get and stay balanced as you train. This is about self-induced movement and self-discipline.
In August, Neptune slips back to a degree it occupied late March through early May, which helps us in learning appreciation. Demonstrate an "eagerness to learn to live" more fully, richly, and warmly. For some, a "luxurious self-knowing, or self-appreciation."
In May-June, Uranus entered a zone it hasn't occupied for over 80 years, again showing us to be at a threshold state of discovery, revolution, and individuation. Uranus will retrograde through November, so consolidate the awakenings of recent months, internalize them and see how it's challenging you to be more autonomous, inventive, broad-visioned and connected to the life around you.
In 2005-2006 we awakened to a new "higher law" that required that we "walk on" and move into a greater spiritual individuality. This opened the doors to enter a new way of life if we demonstrated courage in confronting ordeals in our search for a higher truth challenging us to stand up for our ideals.
In 2007 we've gotten the results of facing our inner fears and becoming more physically, emotionally, and mentally ready, willing and able to move into a larger realm. We've now proved our worth or qualifications and gotten rewards, techniques of protection and camouflage, as well as opportunities to rehearse our new individuality in dramatic or important circumstances.
In March and April Uranus helped us feel the source of strength behind and around all manifestations, with potential for a "deep, vibrant realization." We could sense in silence to find our gift to offer to our society, something that fills a collective need. It was a time to go inward to find major inspiration.
The first half of April was about self-improvement, rebirth and renewal of faith. The last half of April we revised some ideas back to source which eventually will open up a new environment and wider view. For some, it means presenting yourself and your works to a public for approval, applause, and wider recognition in the very near future. This is the main theme for August.
It continued through the first two weeks of May, after which Uranus hit its stationary retrograde degree at 19 Pisces which dominates all of July and the first 5 days of August. It's a degree that will release some from old "race" karma, where events can be seen with intelligence, synthesizing our previous survey of life into some form of our Soul energy strengthening our bodies.
This sets the theme through all of 2007-2008 as Uranus continues to make this degree significant in our charts. We shall all be instructed by "our Master," so that by accepting our excellence and effectiveness we can move through the unstable imbalances with relative ease. Eliminate all that diverges from your special skills that ultimately are leading you to perfect and enjoy your individuality, on whatever levels you can do this.
There are many dynamic aspects in July and August made by the inner planets to Pluto in Sagittarius, Neptune in Aquarius, and Uranus in Pisces. During early July, the Sun trines Uranus then makes a double triseptile to Neptune septile Pluto, triggering the Grand Irrationality spoken of in yesterday's article.
It also makes quincunxes to each planet while moving into or out of the triseptiles, forcing heavy adjustments. Other early July aspects include Venus trine Pluto and Mars septile Uranus as Jupiter retrogrades toward a quintile with Neptune. Strange, but good and overall harmonious.
The last half of July shows a lot of activity clustered at the end of the month. Mercury tracks the Sun's quincunxes and triseptiles, but the BIG news is Mars in late Taurus forming a T-square with Neptune and Saturn, the last major Fixed T-square involving those two major planets. This will throw strong energies into 20-27 Fixed, especially Scorpio, so stay alert to what needs eliminating and regenerating.
Back off, don't push beyond safe limits or get stuck in disputes with stubborn or selfish people, but also don't get discouraged or give up too easily. Find inspiration in detachment, seeing the big picture, and efficiently adapt as needed.
August shows a cluster of planets in Leo opposed Neptune then trine Pluto, with the productive void in the last decan, or 10 degree span, in Gemini. Regardless of the polarization, it will all be for the best if we stay grounded, organized, practical, and inspired while juggling as best we can.
Other powerful factors in August are the quincunxes to Uranus formed when planets move through 17-19 Leo, forcing adjustments while opening productivity in 17-19 Libra and Capricorn, and we close the month with two major Mutable T-squares. The first is around August 22-25 when Mercury in Virgo squares Mars just when Mars opposes Jupiter, at the same time Venus retrograde opposes Neptune. Let go, "let God," don't be fooled, and don't be late!
This is followed by Mercury opposition Uranus as the Mars square Uranus gets closer. Even though Jupiter is not within orb of a square to Uranus, because they're both in the middle of mutable signs, any time a planet dynamically configures with these it sets those disruptive, revolutionizing energies into motion. How we handle this will have major repercussions the first two weeks in September when the Sun tracks the same T-square. These are powerful energies that don't give ground easily, so take little for granted, get a simple self-control that helps you concentrate, and bless the passages.
When the Moon goes through the middle decan of mutable signs, we'll see movement connected to this on-again, off-again Jupiter square Uranus, which has been fracturing and revolutionizing related areas in our charts. These times are July 5-6, 11-12, 18, 25-26, August 1-2, 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, and 28-29.
The Lunar Eclipse of August 28 at 3:35 am PDT at 5 Pisces/Virgo will be especially powerful due to Mercury opposing Uranus just as the Moon moves through its T-square with Mars and Jupiter. More on the coming Lunar and Solar Eclipses of late August and early September 2007 in the near future. These Eclipses will be the next step in what's been developing since the Autumn 2006 eclipses propelled us all "out of a narrow destiny."
The Cardinal (activating) signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, The Fixed (stabilizing) signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and the Mutable (distributive) signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Planets in Fixed signs configure dynamically with Neptune, while planets in Mutable signs challenge Uranus and Pluto.
This is a time of adjusting to what we confront due to emotional and practical needs, awarenesses and ideals coming to surface, and making decisions that will lead to more fun, creativity, and higher duties and responsibilities. Though August is dominated by conjunctions to Saturn and oppositions to Neptune, we can learn a lot about seeing things from many points of view and keeping communications open and flexible.
Pluto continues to put long term pressure on people with birthdays in the third weeks of March, June, September, and December. If you have a birthday during these periods, go to the core of your being and clean up your magnetism to regenerate your heart. Be a pioneer, show self-control, concentrate, and throw off the chains in your mind that keep you powerless. Let go of obsessive or compulsive feelings and people, and purify however you need to, becoming the "captain of your own fate."
Pluto's nature is "economy of energy," and it tends to make our lives more efficient through annihilating obsolete life factors. Banish the corrupt, corrosive, or dishonest elements in your life, and regenerate the seeds of power in the houses it influences in your charts. Pluto's long range influence is presently most personally disruptive to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 26 and 30 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as the first degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer, and Libra.
In past months, Pluto's powerful transformative energies have been at 28-29 Sagittarius, where we found the seeds of a new dedication, a new consecration to a collective ideal, and found an “endowment beyond realization…” Recent radical transformations offered us a form of unique, more permanent self-expression. We had opportunities to focus intelligence to master the form of things, and should have come to a more sure understanding of who we are and the core of our being.
These themes evolved toward finding elegant, beautiful, and practical forms to link the best of the past with the need of the present in January, introducing a need for exercise of some sort to become more fit for our future in February. January showed us "enduring elements of understanding as symbols of the community," helping us stabilize and coordinate our life more effectively. These will be important themes from June through November 2007.
February helped us build our conscious determination through persistent endeavor. These were/are the further manifestation of a new power and effectiveness in the houses ruled by Aries, Scorpio, and Sagittarius. Whatever we learned that led to our rededication to a larger goal or purpose in 2006 gave us imagination, potency, detachment, and an ability to anticipate what's coming. This theme continued from March through May, as Pluto sat steady on 29 Sag.
June took us back to 28 Sag, echoing the lessons of January. By mid-July it will retrograde back to 27 Sag, where it will stay until the end of October. We will lay final claim to our "sculptor" self, our authentic self-expressive form we've been cultivating since early 2006.
A final note on Pluto. When the outer "spiritual" planets are involved in an eclipse, they will exert a very big influence during the time span of that eclipse. Since Pluto went stationary retrograde last March 29, the day of the Solar Eclipse in Aries. (More at this link), we will continue to see powerful social revolutions changing our world dramatically.
These Plutonic influences were unleashed by Mars' transit of late Sag on the eclipse degree and its conjunction with Pluto January 13. When Mars transited the first two degrees of Capricorn in the third week of January, it began future reverberations that will take dramatic shape December 2007 when Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter are in early Capricorn just preceding Pluto's first entry into Capricorn since 1762 between January and June, 2008. The new evolution revolution should be taking shape in some fairly specific ways. More at this link.
Neptune continues to make life somewhat strange, unclear, or even very weird for people with birthdays the second week through mid-month of February, May, August, and November. If you have a birthday during these times, let go of self pity or feelings of inadequacy, and be resolved to do whatever needs to be done to come out of uncertainty, doubt, and confusion.
Get clear about your role, release drifting through things that don't interest you, and find the light of your highest ideal. At this time in history, Neptune's long-range influence is presently most confusing to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 19 and 24 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio.
2005 brought evolutionary accelerations, shortcuts to penetrating insights, greater faith, long-range management issues requiring intuitive foresight, and new ideals and ways of expressing them. Much was revealed and repolarized in late 2005 due to Fixed T-squares and Grand Crosses fracturing old ways of doing our being forever. Old ideals and delusions were shattered.
In 2006 we had to rise to some occasion and be of indomitable Spirit. We learned how to maintain those skills in Summer and Autumn, and what was unveiled has led and will lead to rewards from Spirit in 2007, 2008, and 2009, especially when Jupiter moves over the span where Neptune has been this past year.
Late 2006 finished the "unveiling" that began in Spring 2005 preparing us to rise to the challenges that mobilized us in January. We've now learned resilience despite difficulties, and our perseverence in finding inner strength can serve us well in August-September 2007, as well as December 2007-January 2008. In March and April, we had opportunities to cultivate gratitude and be open to opportunities to grow safely and happily into our Higher Self through prayer and meditation, which we should again practice in July.
Uranus continues to evoke revolutionary developments or needed renovations and creative renewing in the houses in our charts ruled by Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Its influence is associated with disruptive and/or unexpected changes that challenge us to individuate. Uranus currently affects most strongly those with birthdays the second week of March, June, September, and December. If you have a birthday during these periods, learn cooperation, flexibility, and try to innovate and synthesize things into a newer, broader view. Uranus' long-range influence is presently most disruptive to those with a Sun, Ascendant, or planet between 16 and 21 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
In 2005 we completed old business and furthered our dedication to a group purpose through standing up for an ideal. We were summoned to rebirth and challenged to "hear the call," after which we quickened the pace and dropped excess baggage preparing for higher responsibilities. We also learned to "fly by the seat of our pants," demonstrating a form of mastery resulting from our dedication to an ideal, our willingness to persevere, and our hustle. We used these skills throughout 2006 in rehearsing what’s now at hand in 2007.
In early 2006 we quickened again, dropped more unnecessary considerations, and got ready to live a new way of life promised by the Uranus retrograde station of last year. We’ve now entered new areas of self-dedication and an awakening by the "conscious mind to the intuitive Soul realms." The keynote is "the capacity inherent in every individual to seek at whatever cost entrance to a transcendent realm of reality." We have now been "guided into the sanctuary," and have been tested in our purity of heart, our awareness, our maturity, and our spiritual "self-mobilization."
This led to greater responsibilities and ways to prove a greater courage and fearlessness. In the past 2 years, we’ve all endured ordeals, re-affirmed our purpose through a higher realization of truth, and are moving into a new faith. Those who were inconsistent, hypocritical, clutching, fearful, or tried to hide from what was being revealed experienced the "emptiness of dread." We've had to move forward while proving our ability to accept the role we have declared our own.
Spring 2006 gave forms of camouflage to those who are leading a "consecrated life." Those protective forms were important in August 2006 and February-March 2007. Last July we rehearsed, preparing for "the battle to come," which we went through in March 2007.
Other themes from Summer 2006 included having our personal worth certified and finding protective shielding to avoid unnecessary exposure to harsh social judgments. By November 2006 we should have known beyond doubt which Sanctuary we've entered, what ordeals we've gone through, and what dedication we've committed to. January-February 2007 again forced us one last time to prove our qualification, show courage, use our protective shielding, and rehearse before moving into the unknown realms that began in March lasting through June 2007.
As noted earlier, important aspects concerning these outer invisible influences, "forces beyond our control," are very frequent during July and August, with the major influences being the waning Saturn opposition Neptune and the wide Jupiter square Uranus being triggered by T-squares in late August. Jupiter-Uranus was exact in May, and once Jupiter goes direct in early August, we'll again start experiencing the power of the square through the end of October.
This is showing us how focused we are, as well as how we can be distracted into sudden sideways explosions. Every time this is activated by the Moon or another planet, get oriented, put your drive in gear, and get ready to show your individuality in a new expansion. 17 through 19 degrees of Gemini and Virgo are the antidotes to release the Uranian energies productively, so use discrimination and curiosity wisely, be practical as well as a good juggler, and adapt!
The other big joker in the deck is Saturn triseptile Uranus, spoken of in the weekly forecast articles. This huge fork in the road directly relates to the first triseptile in the series between mid-August and early September 2006, as well as the second triseptile in late February through most of March 2007. These signify huge forks in the road of destiny wherever they fall, and augment the Grand Irrationality with a cooperative collective gathering of energies among those who are pioneering at something new, innovative, and even revolutionary.
The primary hot zones will be when the Moon forms conjunctions, T-squares, and oppositions in mid-Fixed signs to Saturn and Neptune, and to Mutable planets a few days later in each case, so count on lots of dynamic activity over the next 9 weeks. T-squares integrate the strength of an opposition, unlike Grand Crosses, which diffuse energy. Stay alert to an almost continual ability to redirect energy according to your focus, whether breaking up stagnant conditions or stabilizing new ones through flexibility, adaptability and receptivity.
All in all, July and August will bring much to the surface while stabilizing our recent beginnings of the past several months. The Moon will form Grand Fire Trines in July and August when it's in Aries, which should activate the multiple brightening promises of previous Grand Fire Trines in action February, March and April. You can find more in previous articles if you need to.
In the past few months we've quickened and opened to new initiatives and pioneering ways of self expression as well as relationships. The waves that appeared in December 2006 are rapidly expanding, and though there may be intense moments, this is a time to take heart and see the hopeful wider life being offered.
We can now understand and stabilize our higher Saturnine destiny, showing “Spiritual linkage through emotional stress,” and the blessings that follow linking the above and below within us as we let go of useless attitudes and actions. We will know just how well we've done this important inner work since last December by August, since the coming conjunctions of the inner planets with Saturn promise a whole new set of rules as well as creative expressions.
During this time of oppositions to Neptune from Leo with trines to Jupiter and Pluto, open your imagination to being yourself and your living heart-fire on your own terms. Keep going deeper into your experience of life at its most profound levels, let your new beginnings be harmonized with fiery energies lending permanence to the heart issues, and practice doing many things simultaneously while seeing how things are connected, or not, and what part each plays in the greater picture.
Over the next few months we will continue to receive more rewards from Spirit, and the future beckons! The seeds of the future now stand revealed, and took flight between March and June 2007. This time continues to close out the Saturn in Leo lessons while opening many new initiatives resulting from our concentration and purification. Many new cycles began in late November and early December 2006 that will affect us in 2007, so continue to practice your originality, uniqueness, and special talents as the waves begin to give us the ride of our life!

Hi Robert. Wonderful, well written article. I am just a bit unclear over how pluto is being disruptive in my case. I was born on 21st March and I have the following planets as follows:
SATURN 28 GEMINI 7TH HOUSE
SUN IN 0 44 ARIES 4TH HOUSE
PLUTO AT 5 LIBRA 11TH HOUSE
Am I correct in thinking that my communication in relationships should be tweaked? My defensiveness is a harsh use of words when i am feeling vulnerable. I read somewhere that this vulnerability is being caused by my own insecurities and not by others. So, is my lesson here to use diplomacy in relationships? What causes this vulnerability? I know it exists and I also know that it is not good for me. But it happens suddenly before i realise it.
Hope you can shed some light.

Hi Aditya - Pluto, the transforming pillar of file, is opposing your Saturn for the next year +. This is a long term transformation of your Security systems, relieving you of all burdens you can no longer carry. Let go of all that causes you fear or a sense of limitation, and find self-assurance in the midst of the chaos. Do your appropriate self-discipline while releasing all that keeps you mentally enslaved.
I always agree we should be diplomatic to avoid unnecessary confrontations. Defensiveness is understandable, given the dullness of people who presume to ask or know things they should not judge and do not know. However, when another has the power to pull us off our perfect stance, then they have the power to undermine our objectives. Nothing external should be able to pull us off our power or out of our integrity, though it is very human for that to happen. BE your agenda, not others. BE your initiatives, and be as diplomatic as possible in agreeing or disagreeing with others who do or do not share our objectives.
Vulnerability is always a quality of those who are open to another's potential for goodness. With this comes a potential for that which is a-dharmic, if such a thing can exist. We must be open to the positive potential of another, but not allow them the power to disrupt our own path through disharmonious behavior, to whatever extent this is possible. "Least harm" was Gandhi's standard. The Sun can turn the corner on your understanding of Pluto. As I have "made friends" with Pluto, Lord Shiva, I am not afraid of the timeless Fiery power of absolute transformation. It is better to wear ten thousand skulls than one chain forged by man. I have found my greatest and best decisions were made during Sun squares and oppositions to Pluto. Aum Namah Shivaya!

I have decided or rather really wish that today i can turn a corner and concentrate on other more positive affairs which require my attention. I have seen that my vulnerability strips me of all my energy. Its better to use that energy on other things which need my attention.
I also feel that my natal saturn has, by way of its placement in my natal chart, saved me from more terrible calamities.
What are your views on gemology, Robert? I was presented with a Blue Sapphire under very unbelievable circumstances in September 1999. It was in a place where people go and worship Lord Shiva. I have been told to wear it till around 2016.
Thank you for helping me clear out old and useless things.

Hi Robert, I have taken the big step of getting away from people who have treated me like i didn't even exist. I hope its the right choice.
Atleast I have my mother to back me up.

Thank you. That was so helpful for me to hear today, as I make the difficult decision about whether to continue my relationship with my partner.

You've done it again my friend:
.....In the past 2 years, we’ve all endured ordeals, re-affirmed our purpose through a higher realization of truth, and are moving into a new faith. Those who were inconsistent, hypocritical, clutching, fearful, or tried to hide from what was being revealed experienced the "emptiness of dread." We've had to move forward while proving our ability to accept the role we have declared our own......
I've read both articles and the above really spoke to my spirit Robert. I've studied the Saturn cycles in my life in-depth for many years and the one thing I've learned is that Saturn will force upon each of us the lessons we need to learn. I also know that Saturn will reward us at the end of the lesson, IF we've perservered, despite the obstacles. I face the future with a renewed sense of hope and optimism because I trust and have faith in the universe to guide me to my ultimate destiny. It's been a really rough transit for me but the lessons will be with me for many years to come. Thank you for this very well written explanation.

Hi Aditya - Always good to focus on making positive progress than dance with unhelpful agendas. Much better to create a "container" within which you can carry on the business of living life, making money, and having as much fun as possible. Saturn is one of our most powerful gatekeepers, in that our Saturn function will NOT let us go certain places, even if we think we want to. As for gemology, I am very familiar with such things, having had an interest in gemstone minerology for over 27 years. Sapphires are wonderful stones and have their own special qualities, given their composition which of course is shown in astrological factors. Still, though many things are good for us to hold close as symbols of power, healing, connectedness, and so forth, the power is always God, inside you and outside you. God is the value and power of the gem, and Thou Art That. The sapphire and You are one power, the power of Spirit Itself, and it is there to remind you of that which is rare, precious, and beautiful. By all means wear it or meditate with it as long and often as you feel like doing that. It's a wonderful thing.
Hi PK - I have always felt in the realm of relationships that it's better to live free and choose who you want to hang with, for how long, and what joys you can share than struggle with things long said and needing transformation. Either two beings joyously and willingly move forward or they don't. Either they have a plan or they don't. Either they're happy or they're not. Either they follow the same good or they don't. In any case either each agrees to build a friendship or they don't. And that's done with each breath we take.
Hi Phyllis - Yes, Saturn always gives its due according to how well we've learned the lessons and made this part of ourselves and our world our friend. And when the lesson is mastered, then I suppose we are somewhat of a Master in the becoming to some degree, which is the point of life on Earth. Glad you got so much from this.
Hi robyn - Yes, but what else is there to do? Suffering and being afraid doesn't seem a great way to enjoy life, so we might as well remember we are Loving Eternals learning how to be intelligent, wisely loving and lovingly wise. It's the only game in town.
Hi Jan - Well, even though in Cazimi the conjuncted planet is said to "be under the beams of the Sun," therefore temporarily disappearing, tomorrow should be interesting due to the Moon in Sag doing interesting things through Friday. Mercury finally begins to speed up. Luck? Prepare, and await the manifestation of the beloved, or a gift from the Mystery.

Hi Robert,
Gosh, i feel downright spoiled by this fabulous series. No wonder i feel like we're in outer space!
A related question, sort of: do you have any resource you like that expounds upon the meaning of the 360 sabian symbols? thx! k
Posted by: kathy | June 28, 2007 at 03:30 PM
Hi kathy - Glad you like it. It's a real feast! As for the Sabian Symbols, start with "The Astrological Mandala" by Dane Rudhyar. I've used them for so long that I have my own way of working with them and interpreting their meanings that isn't in any book anywhere. Maybe someday I'll write "the definitive Sabian symbol book," but that would mean cutting back on my articles here. Besides, the first book in my queue to write is on the 7 Year Cycles and Phases and Stages of Life. Maybe I'll cut myself some slack and get that in draft form within the year.

Robert,
Making plans for my solar return and all I can say is WOW! Is there light at the end of the tunnel or is it an oncoming train? What a difference a week makes. My confidence is back.
With Neptune opposing Saturn and T-Square gave me a lot of confusion where I was headed. Now that has lessen and I am beginning to get some relief from Saturn. Things are moving although slowly again.
As you probably remembered I had a lot of confusion on where to spend my solar return. The universe guided me to a place not more than 180 miles away. It is amazing how such a short distance could make such an impact. It seems since my birthday is August 18th, I am going to have the benefit of a lot of Pluto’s energy in Sag as it trines my SR Sun, Venus, Mercury, Saturn. With everything conjuncting everything else in the 7th and with the New Moon in Leo on August 12th in my career house, I feel that I am going to be making new beginnings both in professional and personal relationships.
Saturn’s lessons for me had been to take courage, strength and patience. This last year was suppose to be a great year as far as my career was suppose to go. I had made great strides until October when Saturn started its transit on the ol’ T-Square. Then everything stopped.
Every oracle I have consulted, I-Ching, Numerology, Runes says the same thing, new life ahead. This makes up for the struggle of the past 9 months.
Care to Comment?
Again as always thanks for the support, wisdom and inspiration.
Peace,
Helen
PS Does the 8th house rule contracts?
PPS I have a strange dream last night. I hugged Al Gore and told him that he was the REAL president. LOL!
Posted by: Helen | July 01, 2007 at 04:23 AM
Hi Helen - Glad your confidence is restored. Try to take the edges off the swing, and maintain calm confidence even when you momentarily don't feel like it. Your experience also is crucial regarding the RELATIVE importance of the Solar Return. While it can make a huge difference in our orientation toward the world, it cannot override progressions and transits. I try to make that clear to those who think the SR is a panacea for their issues. Perhaps this past year was a great year in terms of preparing you for career developments, kind of like priming the pump getting ready for this year's SR, which resets the clock and tendencies and allows you to move forward. And of course you're welcome. You will no doubt have a new life fairly soon, given what you've shared here.
According to "The Rulership Book," different houses and signs rule different kinds of contracts. The 7th and 3rd houses along with Mercury and Libra rule contracts in general. 8th rules employment contracts, contracts of one's business are said to be under the 12th house, real estate contracts are said to be 6th house, and financial contracts are 4th. In each of these cases, the house ruling the type of contract is the 3rd house from the house which rules the subject matter. (Work = 6th, 8th is the 3rd from the 6th; business is 10th, so the 12th is the 3rd from the 10, and so on.)
Please hug Al for me, and tell him he's done the world a big favor by being his Aries fearlessness out on the stump. As an aside, in October 2000 I was on "Coast to Coast AM." When asked who would win, to the audience of millions I predicted Gore, and stated the problem would be getting him inaugurated. No one could figure out what I meant at the time, but a few weeks later it was very clear to all.

Hi Robert,
One more question and I am done I swear on this topic. Actually I forgot to post it with my previous comment. In your expert opinion would the time to act be when Saturn hits my Sun or wait for the new energy of the new SR?
Are you familiar with Ray Merriman's SR report? I find that his "Aspects to a House Ruler by Planets in its House" to be on point. This SR has my 2nd, 7th, 8th and 11th houses planets in harmonious aspect to rulers.
As for your prediction of the 2000 election, I read an article in an astrology magazine that said that both Gore and Bush would win.
Again many thanks for all you do for me. I'm never going to forget it.
Peace,
Helen

P.S. Saturn has been in my 10th house for three years. It's time for it to move on!
Helen
Posted by: Helen | July 02, 2007 at 03:09 AM
Hi Helen - Well, the SR re-sets the pattern, while Saturn on the Sun merely brings things to completion. You can act while Saturn is on the Sun; just be organized and plan the moves accordingly. I launch projects according to transits, not necessarily how they relate to my chart, since my experience of a thing may not be as important as finding the right launch time. For example, this coming weekend is great for launching things, whether it happens to be one thing or another in my chart. And I'll try to find Ray's report when I have some time.

Hi Robert,
Many thanks. I didn't reply to due a minor illness (bad head cold) It was just my body telling me to slow down.
Peace,

Thank you for your wonderful articles. My question, have you noticed that many early pisceans are having to work with health issues this year? Will this be opening up after September.
Thank you.

I had one more question, and grateful for your time. I have Uranus crossing my sun in Pisces and natal chiron is meeting chiron. Do you have any suggestions about how to work with this intense energy hitting the body? I am a healer and intuitive. Keeping grounded is important. Do you have any other suggestions? It's been very good for healing work. But, tough on the old body!! Thanks!
Posted by: Julia | July 10, 2007 at 08:30 PM
Hi Julia - You're welcome. One Pisces I know had a dramatic health turnabout for the better due to Oriental medicine having a better effect than Western practices. Generally, Saturn is in Pisces' 6th house, so yes, for some it will open, while others, esp. late Pisces, will continue for a year or more. As for Uranus, allow individuality to prevail without eccentricity, nerves, or temperamental outbursts to mess up what should be the spiritual awakening of your life. Learn more about the "body electric." I suggest The Holy Science by Sri Yukteswar. Also, you may want to get the Alice Bailey translation of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Perhaps take up gentle Yoga practices as well. Of course there are other things, but for now I must get back to unpacking boxes.

hi robert, i am so happy to found your website! i was searching for it for a long time. i am an aquarious and i've done alot of reading into my birth chart and numerology readings that i understand my mission pretty much in this time preceding to the new age .
i have a couple of things to wonder though , as i am too mixed up on how to start and approach my visions hence i am pretty open and thoughts cuz i feel that i should start with my surrounding but unfortuanetly the people in my life have absolutely different interests ,and they think i speak bullshit and they don't trust my abilties. my boyfriend is a picses and i feel the uranus influence on him but he is acting soo old school , instead of awakening the divine in him i feel he is using the power for social recognition and popularity, it hurts me cuz i was like this but i was never arrgant while i feel he is becoming arrogant and our relation is running cold, i believe that we are like all strong successful relations at this time are couples of power and they will speed up the healing of the planet , i want to make it work , but i am getting tired and the confidence in what i should do in my life is fading with him but i don't want to leave him because i have faith in him , do you ave a peice of advice i can use considering how to deal with my boyfriend? and others? and how to start working on my mission with confidence? is there any agencies or ngo for new age missionaries for example?

Dear Robert, I am an Aquarian born feb 1 1965 and My beloved Dad died April 26 2006 and I am having great difficulty in my relationship. Help, life has been hard lately.
Posted by: cindyfrances | July 13, 2007 at 06:02 AM
Hi Pearl - Welcome to the site. With Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius, no wonder sometimes you feel a little "mixed up." You may be trying to fit a round peg in a square hole when you try to convince others of something they don't get, i.e., you may be speaking Greek to a bunch of Chinese. Whether others think you're speaking BS or not is not as important as that you consider the source of the criticism. If it's valid, you'll learn and grow and find new perspectives; if it's not, then why be affected by something not valid?
We're closer to certain people at certain times of our lives, and then must move on, since our interests diverge. What matters are the genuine friendships, since your true friends won't make you feel lousy or inferior because you hold certain views. They may challenge you, but will never try to undermine you or make you feel lousy. And if they're not your friends, then you should not allow them to bend your feelings out of shape.
Social recognition and popularity are not bad things, but our attachment to forms of these create suffering when we don't adapt, or fail to realize just how impermanent these are. That's why we must change from time to time, and then we find who loves and cares for us, and who has become indifferent or hostile to our interests. That's why the only relationships that last a long time and become closer and more loving and supportive are always based on a healthy friendship rather than passion, desire, or ideas about "what should be." As for your "mission," why not begin to explore some cause that you believe in, whether UNICEF or a local environmental organization or Doctors Without Borders or Amnesty International. You want to find your interest, get trained in that interest so you have practical skills and experience, and then plan the best use of your time, energy, and money so you do good service while strengthening your understanding.
Hi cindyfrances - My sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. I'm sure you can use meditation to maintain contact with the unconditional love you share. Since the loss of a loved one is one of the hardest experiences for us humans, please be gentle with yourself and honor your loving heart. Remember that we don't check out until our work is done, which is defined a lot of ways. So he is now in the realm of unconditional love, and your heart is the connecting link to the greater love that's all around.
Sorry you're having a hard time in your relationship, but that could be for all kinds of reasons, since this time in history is pretty irrational and hard edged, and many are freaking out because things make no sense and their compulsions are coming to the surface. You should experience some definitive relief as a result of the coming Venus RX, where you can examine your truths, possible futures, your philosophical/spiritual assumptions, and needs from a new perspective about what your heart needs as foundation material to support your future.

Dear Robert, Thank you for your response and your kindness,I love your site. Any advice for an Aquarius born on Feb 1st 1965 at 2:45 a.m? I am really at a crossroads and I can feel the weirdness in the universe, I see it all around me. i cant wait for Saturn to leave my sign of relationship, I have learnt alot of hard lessons.
Posted by: cindyfrances | July 15, 2007 at 08:24 AM
Hi cindyfrances - As I noted in another comment stream, I'm on the road and my internet access is limited, and I have no ephemeris except on a computer with no connectivity. That said, you've begun a new cycle, so examine your needs and habits to make sure you're moving with the ideals you began to embrace a few years ago. You're no doubt more mature in how you relate to others, and know what you can and cannot live with in terms of how others treat you. When it leaves Leo, you'll enter a time of needing Divine Discrimination regarding what you want, what you voluntarily let go of, how to deal with magnetism and creating voids to attract your heart's desire, and things like that.

Hi Robert! Thanks so much for your great service. When planets are on the cusps, such as I have pisces on the cusp of the 10th/11th and Mars in Capricorn 8th/9th, and moon in Libra, 5th/6th. Is this like having one foot in one door and the other in the other door? or has our being come to integrate these energies, or decide which door is more closer to the true core. Thank you!

Hi! Robert, I guess I ask questions of two's. I have a son, who has 13 conjunctions, no squares, and two oppositions to the north node. Scorpio,(sun) Capricorn rising, Sag moon. Are oppositions to the north node considered lack of support through the ancestors in getting to one's summit? He has moon (Sag) opposed dragon's head in cancer, and Ascendant (Capricorn) opposed dragon head in cancer. Are these tough aspects? However, he has two trines to the north node, saturn, and midheaven. So, does this help the oppositions? All his planets are in the 10th,11th, 12th houses. Very psychic naturally, but very impulsive and pulls alot of light as well as dark. What side of the sword will we whirl. Thank you Again!

Well, Robert maybe questions in 3's. I promise I won't post for another month! I read that Mars is coming very close to the Earth on August 27th. It will look like that the Earth has two moons. Now, my concern. The last time Mars couple of years ago made a close appearance, I had tremendous energy things go on. Though in the world of the New Age community, they would say, well this is wonderful! Ah!!! yeah, after it's over, apparently, very few have gone through real expansions, this is my third in my 49 years. It's something not easily forgotten. As I stated prior, I have done healing and intuitive work for many years. The last expansion was tough. I had red rings around both wrists, that weeped a strange substance, I shook uncontrolably, as if the spirit was being shaken back and forth in the body, and the left side of my head became red and oozed the same substance as the wrists, and my hair started to fall out, I had red marks on the abdomen and anytime anyone would stand next to me my hands would shake, so I hide them. My teacher who is a Kahuna in Hawaii, had the same experience three months before I. She said it was Stigmata. Of course, both of us are not into traditional religion. So, it's just a good way to label it. But, what I noticed was this started up, in one day, just as Mars was very strong. One day I was fine, the next wammo!!! I could see the energy falling like translucent rain. Took me six months to get back. It was almost like being electricuted, and I know that sounds very Uranus. Actually, it did end up very good, that is when I noticed the Shaman hand trembling started, it's very helpful for energy work. But, now!! Mars is coming back again and to boot, I have Uranus crossing my sun in Pisces at the head and my Chiron on the midheaven in Aquirus in my natal will be meeting my Chiron. Am I going to blow apart or what? I know it's all perfect and we are where we all need to be. But,a little preparation never hurt anybody. Should I be concerned about this Mars coming? Or just relax and take in the beauty. Thank you! Write you next month!!
Posted by: Julia | July 27, 2007 at 08:25 PM
Hi Julia - I must be brief, since I'm on the road. Yes, planets on a cusp affect both houses, and serve as a bridging function between the two areas. Oppositions to NN = conjunctions to SN, showing too much attachment to the past and lines of least resistance. But he's here to demonstrate much of what he's learned in past lives. What you say implies that he's learning to be caring and nurturing of others rather than just fall back on work and taking responsibility. Oppositions are tough until we learn to find realization from the polarizations. Sextiles and trines help resolve oppositions, though again, realization is everything. The last time Mars was close to Earth there were widespread rumors that it would look like the Moon. This is incorrect. We each respond to Mars as we can, and each experiences energy fluxes according to their training and disposition. So it may or may not be "wonderful" depending. And usually there are relatively few who use a stimulating time to embrace a permanent transformation, since it means letting go of comfortable assumptions and habits. Won't hazard a guess as to the red rings, so I suppose it could be a curious form of stigmata, though usually that's reserved for the points in the hand where the nails were put. Perhaps it was a purification/initiation of sorts, where things were burned up and released. I'd relax, take in the beauty, and remember that there's only one ride per ticket, and you've already taken that ride once. Use Mars wisely, ask Spirit to explain why what happened, and open to seeing how to use this openness to do greater service without so many extreme physical manifestations.

I am very curious to know how you would interpret the two eclipses arriving this August/September:
Specifically, the Lunar Eclipse on August 28 will be conjuncting my friend's Ascendant in Pisces (although still technically in his 12th House). On September 11th, the Partial Solar Eclipse will be conjuncting his Moon (and Vertex) in the 7th House as well as trining his NN. Saturn will also be conjunct his Descendant.
During both eclipses, Mars will be conjuncting his natal Saturn and IC.
What would you derive from this?
Posted by: Clove | August 07, 2007 at 03:25 PM
Hi Clove - I'll be composing several articles about the coming eclipses in the next two weeks. Please consult the archives for the many extensive articles I've written about eclipse influences, as they may help you get a sense of the larger implications of these important "footprints in time."

Robert- I have just discovered you and- wow- I must say that you are bringing alot of things to light for me right now. The one thing I am wondering is why I have been feeling so terrible- when I have no planets at the degrees being triggered by the Grand Irrationality? my birthdate is 10/15/74 Norwalk, CT 5:35pm...I would so appreciate an insight you may have.
thanks and many blessings-ash
Posted by: Ashley Laux | August 08, 2007 at 09:47 PM
Hi Ashley - The Grand Irrationality doesn't necessarily lead to "terrible feelings," as much as confusion, irrationality, and weirdness. Your feelings could come from ongoing events, memories, subconscious factors, or any number of other precipitating things. There are many reasons to feel as we do, and since I'm on the road, I cannot extensively comment on any particular chart, not having my ephemeris with me (and dealing with a computer crash, I don't have my astro software at my disposal at present.) They may be associated with Venus retrograde memories and feelings coming up from subconsciousness.

Hi Robert,
I have a question. Hopefully not to strange. I have an astrology program, and I have been curious about part of the program that shows chart patterns. Helocentric, and Geocentric for each person. As I kept looking at this, a thought came to me after. Do you think it is possible that say a person who has more geocentric example trines, has more lifetimes and experience to the Earth, than say, a person whom might have helocentic trines, since this would be more a view from the sun. I can usually tell when people carry more off planetary energies than Earth and also where they are from off the planet, say if this is not their original home planet. I wondered if astrology also through the chart patterns shows this.

Hi Robert
I just read your site by chance this morning and really resonated with it. The past 2 years have been hellish and some of the timings you mentioned made sense in light of events. My birthday is 31st July 1970 at 2.24pm. If feel I have learnt a lot of spiritual lessons over the past two years...unconditional love, detachment, illusion and multiplicity of realities etc. It now feels to me like a huge final shift is under way as I come into the next few weeks. (I am not an expert at astrology..it is just an intuition that seems in line with your article I ready today.) I guess my question is ..will it get better soon? I feel like I am in a constant battle up a very high hill, with confusion over my identity...what to do next, where to live..is there clarity coming after this next 6 week period, for me and the other souls out there who have been muddling through on this hard passage for so long.

Dear Robert
yours is truly a wonderful site that teaches me much about astrology but so much more abt the human condition. have u written a book? If so where can one buy it?
Posted by: ANU | August 20, 2007 at 12:50 AM
To echo Magsy's feelings: I'm 29, July 1962 born, 2006-2007 have been the most growing up years of my life--- been out on alimb, clawed back, thrown, got up, still dusting off, turned my soul out inside out like a sock, don't believe in anyone or anything , belive in no certainties, positions, am mor epragmatic, but believe in everything, in possibility, that life must be endured even with joy, some sharing and with some help fromRobert's posts
Posted by: ANU | August 20, 2007 at 12:55 AM
Hi Julia - I believe since we're all made of the "dirt" of our beautiful Earth, and lead an Earth-centered existence, we must use Geocentric charts. Rudhyar explained a lot about the psychological and cosmic implications of becoming more Heliocentric, but unless we're truly "Solar systemic" beings, then we're still heavily influenced by Geocentric astrology. There shouldn't be any difference in the number of trines in a chart regardless of which system we use. Also remember that almost all of us have been here in some form since Lemurian times, and relatively few are "from" another system, regardless of the fashion of our day which is to believe almost none of us are from Earth. If we are to believe the ancient chronicles, we've all been here a long time, though every few thousand years certain evolutionary doors open so some can go to other evolutionary systems and some of the more individualized creatures become humans. Hopefully this answer doesn't further confuse an already vastly misunderstood area of evolutionary science.
Hi Magsy - Welcome to the cantina. You've no doubt been put through Saturn's wringer the past two years, and are now more mature, experienced, and know what you can and cannot live with. You've confronted your Saturn opposition issues, and now know detachment, dispassion, and a larger view of things. With Saturn on your Mercury the next several months, budget your time, energy, and resources, and learn as much as you can. Great time for studying, reading, training the perception and speech to know more than you have before now. There may be pessimism, but it's a signal to lighten up, don't take yourself so seriously while taking your higher purpose more seriously and patiently, and keeping your mind on objective facts will prove more profitable than subjective concerns.
Hi cid2k - Actually, you've been dealing with Saturn square Uranus and Pluto opposition your Mercury, finding what is true for you without getting distracted by others' negativity while learning to be a pioneer in some fundamental art of human existence. You've had productive opportunities to refine your gifts, and this will continue for awhile, as Saturn is going to quintile your Mercury and Mars for months to come. All in all, you're entering a long term productive period, where you must work "the gold mine" you've dreamed of before now. You're at a turning point where much will not make sense, but it doesn't have to. Just make your decisions, get the mental training you need, and your life will be firmly on track over the next couple of years.
Hi ANU - My first book is long out of print, but I'll try to do a re-write and do a new edition in the future. My second book, "A New Look At Mercury Retrograde," is also out of print, but you can still pick up used copies via the net. My book "Love Dad" is not astrological, but is a grief manual for those dealing with the death of a loved one. It was written from my direct experience, and I've been told has helped many who are dealing with the aftermath of death. It certainly is a slice of the human condition! You can order it through your local bookstore, on line, or email me for an autographed copy.
I'm confused that you say you're 29 but born 1962. However, it seems as though you've found your way to forms of your higher Self, since our troubles all serve to bring forth belief only in our own immortality and ability to transcend the sources of suffering. Life can be joyous, a miracle of sharing and community. Glad you found your way here.

Hi Robert!
Since, today is August 23rd, I thought I would ask you about the first of the major Mutable T-squares. The first is right now, August 22-25, when Mercury in Virgo squares Mars just when Mars oposes Jupiter, at the same time Venus retrograde opposes Neptune.
When you say: Let go, "let God," don't be fooled, and don't be late! Is the quote referring only to those days from Aug 22-25?
Also, I have a personal void point at 17-19 Leo, in my 1st house. Will the quincunxes to Uranus in this time period hit me extra hard when the planets move thorugh this point. I know it deals with forced adjustments.
Thanks!
Lisa Saliture
Posted by: Lisa Saliture | August 23, 2007 at 10:12 AM
Hi Lisa - My statement is about the Mutable squares in general, given the planets and signs. As for the quincunxes, Uranus is quincunx or triseptile your Leo voids at this time in life, so yes, the Venus quincunx Uranus will impact you somehow. Don't know that it'll be hard if you know how to respond. Venus in a void shows the solution to the squares creating the void.
Posted by: Robert | August 23, 2007 at 10:46 AM
Dear Robert,
Thank you so much for your response. Interesting! Yes, of course many of us have long lives to Earth and yes, I do know it's very vogue now to believe many are from more off the planet and not from Earth. I guess what I see, is more combinations of energies of both combined, but some having more Earth energies, and more sky energies. But, there is both. Even the ancient tribes separated their groups in Earth and Sky people. The Lemurians spoke of their ancestors coming from the stars, as well as many ancients. Why then, would one not believe, they too, perhaps have these energies, and some more of them. Just like elements. I happen to come across what is called a natal fixed star report. I believe it is through Starlight. Apparently, an old way of reading astrology. It has to do with the energies of ones, fixed stars that they are connected to also. I was very excited because as much as I love astrology, I felt as if there were pieces missing, meaning, sometimes it felt as though it would be like reading a map that was flat, and limiting, not always with more multi-dimensional aspects incorporated. I guess of course it would depend on the astrologer. Example, if someone was born on my date March 8th, 1958 at 10:28 am in Bethesda Maryland, they would have the same chart as I. However, they are not me, they may choose to use their energies compleltely different and depending on the astrologer and their intuitive abilities combined, could tell us both, how the energy would affect us. But, I felt what about the many energies of stars that are not discussed that fill in an even greater view of ones being and makeup, in relationship to astrology that is. It would be very interesting to develop a astrology program that was actually had more 3D abilities. Such as a figure of a person in the middle and the energies (planets and stars) hitting different places on a full body figure, and all angles and the other fixed stars that were in aligment at a specific time. I found that the fixed star report added dimension. Maybe, I am just too Neptunian. Astrology is such a great tool, but I always seem to be looking farther. I guess our answers are always in our own backyard anyway. Thanks for your great site and time!
Posted by: Julia | August 24, 2007 at 10:09 PM
Hi Julia - I do believe the Fixed Stars have much to offer regarding a galactic perspective, but as I've noted in other comments, the meanings we're give from antiquity are such a downer as to be unusuable in our modern existence. (Not many die in a joust or by a wild creature or shipwreck these days, among other things). ;-)
As for our extraterrestrial heritage, well, I always figured we're here, and so here is where our work is, regardless of where we're from or going to. We could be either tribe, or a combo of both, and yet we're still right here, right now, fully human and fully divine, trying to integrate our personalities so they can more perfectly express the Light of the Soul as interpreted by our Higher Self. We'll always know we're Eternals wandering through space and time and many frequencies of sentience, but that's a universal, since ALL beings share that Divine heritage.
As for those who share the same day and time at the same place of birth, Alan Leo did a famous sketch of a chimney sweep born at the same day and time in the same parish as (the future) King George IV of England. Similar interests, similar personalities, similar timing on important events, to the day. Same death day as well. Very famous analysis. Of course, not everyone born the same day has the same personality, as I noted in my recent comments on the loathsome Karl Rove. I'm sure there are many with the same birthday who are not so unprincipled, but they were no doubt raised with higher moral values than "old turdblossom," as Bush calls him. Sounds like you have an interesting idea for a holographic "chart" for a person. Again, it would take a total reinterpretation of the potential meanings of the fixed stars in order for it to have relevance in the 21 century and beyond, since the traditional meanings are both depressing and antiquated.
Posted by: Robert | August 25, 2007 at 09:49 PM
Thanks for the response Robert. I'll leave the creation of a new holographic chart up to you since I am not an astrologer, just a person who could be dangerous with astrology!! Hee..Hee.. I was emailed a very interesting movie through a client of mine in Belgium. It is a very good "free" 2 hour movie that you can watch through the internet. It is one of the best teaching of astro theology I have ever seen. Just go to www.zeitgeistmovie.com it's an awesome movie, and has 3 parts.Starts with astro theology, 911, the banking systems, North American Union, and into Chipping. Thanks for your time and service to many!!

Dear Robert, Have a question. I have noticed that different astrologers read from different charts, some the transits, the progressed, solar and some combined. For a person that is looking at their own chart, which do you feel is more accurate for the now? Also, how much weight do you think the sign of fortune in a house holds. I am sorry I can not remember the correct name. Mine is in my natal in the 8th house/9th in Capricorn, in the progressed in 5 house in Libra, and the solar, the 10th house in Pisces. Do you combine these? Thank you!!
Posted by: Julia | August 28, 2007 at 07:03 PM
Hi Julia - The natal are the basic personality patterns and the triggers when transits move into angles with them. These are primary indicators. The progressions show how the natal patterns have evolved, but do not have as much "strength" to precipitate things as transits to the natal. Progressed aspects to natal planets show us larger life shifts and tendencies, but in a more general sense. The Solar chart and transiting aspects to Solar positions are very powerful. The Solar Return is a snapshot of the moment the Sun returns to its exact natal position, and supposedly shows us the next year. All are accurate, but in different areas of influence. Transits show the patterns in the NOW for all, whereas progressions show how we're evolving. Solar chart is like the natal, the Solar Return is a moment where the transiting Sun harmonizes with ours. The Solar Return cannot bring us something not shown by the natal. The Progressed Moon is of great importance in showing us how we'll experience life on a month to month level. The Part of Fortune is not a planet, but a synthetic point given to us from Arabian Astrology. It supposedly shows joy, wealth, and well being. The natal PF is a strong influence, but I've never seen the progressed PF to have much influence. The Solar Return chart must always be referenced to the natal first, and progressed second. I hope this doesn't serve to confuse the issue even more! ;-)
Posted by: Robert | August 28, 2007 at 07:38 PM
Okay, okay, I think I have it. Somewhat. That's what I was doing. I check the transits, to see where the planets energy in the sky was hitting now, parts of the body ect, then, I would look at the progressed to see how the energy might evolve. Then, the solar, it's the spoon that mixes the soup together, hopefully in harmony? Is that it in a nutshell?
Part of fortune, mars in capricorn almost on the cusp of the 9th, more in the 8th in the natal, 3 degrees away from 9th. I had two thoughts. Structuring others in transformation and maybe in later life? But, also, transforming in the lower part of the body, maybe the way of stance for self and others, death of he old structuring and restructure. How would you read that. My concern, is the legs when I see that. Restriction in the legs. How that would be fortune would be a mystery. A lot of my tough planets fall in the legs, Mars,Saturn. I have to walk a lot and focus energy there. Now, if I am understanding, my solar PF is in Pisces in the 10th and natal PF in the 8th/9th. So, tell me if this is correct, later life, which is now upon me, 49, in career, restructuring others for transformation through death of the old and higher connecting, maybe helping them find their truth?
Another funny, I have done spiritual counseling for about 20 years. Taurus falls in the 12th house, best friends, worst enemies, which is sort of foreign to me, I don't think in those ways of enemy. BUT!! in all those years, I have had two people fuss with me, and they were Taurus. So, I used to say, I need to be really clear with Taurus's, or they read my energy wrong. Guess where my progressed sun is? Taurus!!! I laughed..so hard, and it will be there for some time. Plus, my south node is in Taurus. Isn't the universe perfect!!
I also found a another interesting website you might like. www.wingmakers.com, so...good!! Especially the glossery of terms in philosophy. See, if you connect to it.
Blessing to you! and thank you

Hi Julia - Not sure whether you're speaking of the Solar chart or the Solar Return chart. The Solar chart acts as a second natal. Solar Return is a snapshot of tendencies for the coming year relative to the natal (which is something even supposedly learned astrologers seem not to know). The progressed has to do with the natal, the transits have little or nothing to do with the natal tendencies other than trigger them. This part of analysis usually takes years to master. Not sure Capricorn means "lower part of body." In medical astrology it simply means the knees. 8th house is your transformation; 2nd house is others. Legs in general run from Scorpio ("private parts") to Aquarius (ankles). Taurus is your progressed illumination. SN there shows you'll learn more from your losses than your gains. NN Scorpio is great for regeneration work. Will check out the website.
Hi nagendra - It's on the left hand links.

Thanks Robert. Oh!!!! The program reads solar arc chart. Is that solar return? Oh! brother!! Maybe I will just stick to the transits, the progressed and natal. I mostly have learned on my own, listening and looking.
Thank you so much for your time. Has anyone said they have experienced strange dreaming lately, and my teeth seem energized, buzzing. The last time that happened Uranus was around. Maybe it's because it's on top of my sun now EXACTLY!! Astrology is so fun!!!
Thanks again!!

Hi Julia - The solar Arc chart is a form of "directions," also known as another way of progressing the chart, said to be extremely accurate in predicting major life transitions. The Solar Arc "primary directions" are most definitely NOT the Solar Return! Good idea to stick with the basics until you get ready to set sail into uncharted waters. Enjoy the very weird on-going revolution!

One thing I always found interesting. When asking others if they could pick a sun sign to be born under, (basically, because that's all most have a little knowledge about)what energy would they like to work with as their sun sign. Most say they would pick the sign they are now!! I thought of this for myself. I too would probably pick the same sun sign Pisces for it expresses more who I am, or maybe Aquarius. Have you ever asked yourself that? Maybe it's because we are familiar with the energy. But, it is interesting that the the being as much as many struggle loving and knowing the self, they already do.

Hi Julia - Of course I've asked myself that question, and of course I've always selected my own Sun sign! That has led me to many reflections about why, and if, and what if it were different. And it still comes out my Sun sign, since as you note, I am aware of it, and enjoy finding ways to live it to the fullest. This brilliant (and obvious) question has been asked by anyone with a depth knowledge of astrology, and there are extremely few who would take a different Sun sign in my experience. Your comment is wonderful, and thought provoking.

It is interesting! and even if you asked them what they would pick another time around, they still say they would pick the same sun sign! I always thought of this little story that my friend and I would create and change, about how different sun signs would respond. We would start out with what each sun sign would say if a large pyramid appeared before them, it may give you a chuckle. Aries would say...this pyramid is all about me isn't it perfect. Taurus, would say..no it difinately belongs to me...Gemini would say, you guys are too dumb to build a pyramid so it has to be mine. Cancer would say...it's homey to me and I can nurture and keep it better than you all. Leo would say...I will sit on the tip top so all will see me and add beauty to it. Virgo would say...I need to organize you guys, and it needs cleaning, it's dusty. Scorpio would say I am sure it was used for sexual practice at some point. Sag would say....I am the temple! Capricorn would say..I out rank you, therefore it's mine. Aquarius would say...now lets look at this scientifically, the angle of pie X 8, ah.. it's difinately extra terrestrial.
Pisces would say....All of you make me tired, I am going back to sleep.
Now, I bet that helps one pick their sun sign!!! hee..he...

Hi Julia - We're all the Sun signs during the course of our evolution, but are more naturally of a certain elemental energy and mode of expression. And Libra would want to interior/exterior decorate the pyramid.

Oh! my goodness I left out Libra, and I have a Libra Moon!!! oops or Libra would say...everyone is out of balance here, maybe it needs some Feng shui.
I am observing the interesting energy going on during the last couple of weeks. It is so fascinating, to see the exposure happening for many. Though this can be tough, what a gift and the commitments being made with people to tackle some of their core issues. Just brings me so much joy!! And for myself, finally especially in family, which can be the tough ones for a healer, are listening!! It's so great to see that the things you have said for years and years or even yesterday are finally being understood and considered. I have felt like Christopher Columbus trying to have people entertain the idea that possibly the world might not be flat. Many of my family have hidden what I do as far as my work goes. Due to fear. I always thought it was interesting because I read and do healing work for many well known people all over the world. But, my own family would tell others that I just do it for fun!!! and brush it off, giggle, roll eyes, of course until they are in trouble or sick. Sun in the 10th, fun and wanting to make a difference in the world don't seem to quite go together. It's my life, me being, it's big!!
Point being, we are arriving and even with all our gifts and talents, we still have to arrive. As for families in relationship to astrology, I'm reading the fine print next time. That's what I tell them all and they just laugh. Have a wonderful weekend. Thank you for your committed work and wonderful spirit.

Hi Julia - Remember we still have two irrationality series highly active at present! Lots of forks in the road and decisions on everyone's part. I suppose it's good to tackle "core issues," except for those who don't want to and create wreckage in the process for themselves and others. There is a "grand arrival" going on with the "Grand Irrationality," since everyone is making choices that will determine future opportunities and relationships. Thanks for the appreciation. And of course, Spirit is everything!

Okay, please don't laugh..I can hear you. The Galactic Center, am I conjuncting? It's important with my Libra moon to conjunct or trine. On a serious note, My Saturn is 25degrees of Sag in the 7th trine 00degrees Pluto in Virgo in the 4th. Is this where in my chart I would look for the Galactic Center? And how come Jupiter gets to be the Galactic Center anyway? Go to the light....go to the light....first we have to find it in the chart. Thanks
Posted by: Julia | September 14, 2007 at 03:38 PM
Hi Julia - The GC occupies late Sag-early Cap at this time in human history. Any planets we have there are said to conjunct the GC. Right now transiting Pluto is conjunct the GC. Jupiter will conjunct the GC only in December 2007, and again briefly every 11 1/2 years mas o menos.
Not to sound too much like Andy Rooney, unless we're operating at a "Galactic" level, or able to offer our world such a thing, then it's probably more a massive passive influence on ALL of us until it activates, and when it does it activates ALL of us, and is not a local influence. I cannot believe anything related to the Galactic Center is personal, per se. Basically, if it doesn't play in Biafra, Mumbai, Toronto and Belfast as well as in the "new age" community, then it's not GC. I'm sure it has a global effect. That would be what I would concentrate on with an eye to LONG-range evolution. And yes, once in a while the GC could play out through people operating on a Galactic level. But I would think that's a Gandhi or Buddha or Babaji or some other "Galactic Being" demonstrating the Galactic Way of Spirit.
