Mercury comes out of retrograde this week, so it's time to begin to crank things up after recent weeks of rehearsal, review, research, and preparation. This week things should start moving forward, but continue to build in slight delays at least unti the end of the week. We're still under the influence of the Full Moon at 6:49 am PDT June 30 that falls at 9 Capricorn, helping us all attune to our inner guides, angels, and other aspects of "Heaven Within," exteriorizing the promise of the past New Moon in Gemini.
The recent New Moon in Gemini is helping us all to be productive, releasing powerful new forces reorienting our direction of expansion. It fell the day before Mercury went retrograde, so timing has seemed to slow almost to a standstill at a threshold rather than a backward falling mirror image of things.
This lunation has been helping us overcome what binds us or holds us back, and learn skills to achieve forward movement. Keep finding opportunities to enjoy yourself, relax, and re-create whatever you feel needs it in your mind, view, interpretation, speech or attitude. Wherever this falls in your chart has been the recent focus.
Venus conjuncted Saturn for the first of three times on July 1 at 23 Leo. It is now slowing down, preparing to go retrograde on July 27 at 10:27 am PDT at 3 degrees of Virgo, a point of "divine help when human efforts fail," as well as discovering inner powers that bring us assistance wherever we feel "lost in the wilderness."
The second time this conjunction occurs will be when Venus is RX conjunct Saturn at 28 Leo on August 13, and the final one will be October 13-14 at 5 Virgo. This will rearrange several areas of our lives, finalizing some things while launching new one in whatever areas these planets rule and occupy.
Conjunctions are fusions and beginnings, and the degree of the first conjunction this week involves taming and training to bring our vital energies under a skillful self-control. Areas affected are Taurus, Leo, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius, and any house the conjunction occupies or rules. We should have recently begun new interpersonal activities, either gone through disillusionment and/or realizations, and are preparing to take a look back at recent Venus experiences to get a new angle of vision on what has happened and why, and what new rules, responsibilities, or maturity we've already begun to live.
We've just had the Sun-Mercury Inferior conjunction in a few days, this affecting our lives for some months to come. Please review this article to find out more, as well as all the other recent Mercury retrograde articles to find out more about what we're going through, and how it specifically affects your sign. Mercury is now speeding up through the Superior Conjunction on August 12 at 20 Leo just a few hours before the New Moon at 4:02 pm PDT the same day and degree.
The recent Full Moon of Capricorn-Cancer featured Moon opposition Mercury RX, the very prominent Venus opposition Neptune and conjunct Saturn, Uranus making a wide trine to the Sun and quintile to the Moon, and Mercury sextile Mars. The light at this time comes through reaching out for elementary understanding of life, learning to be discriminating in finding your originality and expressing your authentic self freed from social restrictions and judgments, and learning how to listen so you can be given guidance from within. Follow your curiosity, and see the relative place, function, and importance of what you find.
The Summer Solstice happened 11:07 am PDT on June 21, just after the Mars trine Pluto and before Uranus going stationary RX. This initiates definite energy shifts since it's the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and therefore the Solar force is at its yearly peak. For readers in the Southern Hemisphere, it's the shortest day of the year and the beginning of their winter, so hang in there, since from now on your days will get longer as ours get shorter. I suppose for Sun worshippers the "endless summer" is less a classic surfing movie as knowing when to move from north to south and vise-versa!
Though the Saturn opposition Neptune is past, marking the end of a certain type of tension we've been living with off and on for two years. However, it's important to remember that for the next few weeks, when the Moon is in late Taurus on July 9-10 and August 6, and in late Scorpio July 23-24, we'll have to deal with a Fixed T-square that will help us demonstrate whatever skills and wisdom we've gotten from the opposition.
We'll experience the last major Fixed T-square involving these planets at the Blue Full Moon of the Eastern Hemisphere on July 29, 5:48 pm PDT, falling at 7 Aquarius-Leo. The T-square at that time will involve Mars in late Taurus squaring Saturn opposition Neptune. Expect radical new developments to stem from that lunation, where we will see what is permanent and what is springing forth from Cosmos Itself. After that, there will be no more Fixed T-square lunations until the Full Moon of November 2008.
As I've written previously:
These past Fixed T-squares involving Saturn and Neptune were triggered every time the Moon was in Taurus or Scorpio, teaching us how to act appropriately. Saturn opposed Neptune was exact from mid-February through mid-March 2007, and is again exact from now through mid-July 2007. Every time the Moon triggers this effect it reminds us of strengths we've cultivated from breaking up old patterns the past 18 months.
As I've noted, these squares ... broke some things up forever, challenged us to see what to clear out, made us evaluate what to "put on the shelf for the future," and opened paths of personal, social, and spiritual development associated with things, heart, magnetism, ambition, and idealism. We were challenged to persevere despite difficulties, cut our losses when blocked by intransigent obstructionists, stabilize what which was unstable, or break apart that which was stuck in the mud.
Any square to the Saturn opposition Neptune shows us how to release important Fire energies through Saturn, transcend old limitations and generate new heart power and brought important questions. What is our message? Where is our heart's interest? Where is our play, our creativity, our enthusiasm, our spontaneity, our pleasure? These can show us the way to our higher purpose.
... Though T-squares are usually considered a negative and frictional influence, the ones we've just been through were chances to purify and drop old ways to create space for more appropriate efforts now. We've shifted magnetism, letting go so we can attract the assets, resources or values will support our next outreach. That has meant a shift in both perception and action.
These T-squares burst things wide open... Since the Taurus energies sextile and quintile Uranus, renovate, revolutionize things, and go for the unique, unusual, or innovative. We've opened a Neptune cycle while fulfilling the old Saturn cycle started Summer 2006... Recent weeks brought many major decisions breaking old deadlocks, ambivalence, or procrastination. It's been a great time for accepting greater responsibilities and duties and leaving lesser concerns behind. We can achieve clarity around roles we want to play, overcoming any hesitation around doing what we must to make some new way of being real.
We've solidified many things even as we've turned a big corner... and had opportunities to see what's been jamming our gears in relationships, and what we needed to end while embracing actions and attitudes that will bring us results we want in the future. Due to the on-going Jupiter square Uranus we've also had a sensation like something very BIG is coming. Welcome to the NOW!
As I've explained before, though squares are usually associated with difficulty, they mark important points where we shift direction, breaking free of old ideas about who we used to be. When we confront squares and oppositions we are shown ways to reorient to find the balance and turn the corner in crucial areas. Squares are either the emergence of something (waxing square) or the fulfillment and culmination of a process (waning square), while oppositions bring forth awareness. These times are not necessarily great for launching new things, but they can be great at moving things forward that have already been planned in the past.
Saturn opposition Neptune is behind the tension of the gap between ideal and reality, the theoretical and the practical. Continue not allowing nerves, temperament, or unexpected diversions to cause sideways explosions result in messing up perfectly good opportunities. Get oriented, get your drive in gear, open your vision and understanding, and be compassionate while bringing closure to old life movies.
As noted earlier, Venus is now slowing, even as most of the signs from Sag through Leo are occupied creating a Locomotive Pattern, one of imbalance and power. With the Moon transiting Aquarius through Taurus this week, the Moon is in the heart of the occupied sector, accenting the pattern. When it's in Aquarius and Aries, it activates the Grand Irrationality which I'll explain a few paragraphs down. Saturn and Pluto are the brackets framing the Locomotive pattern that most predominates for months to come when the span on the close side is less than 51 degrees.
The week begins with the Moon in Aquarius. As I noted in last weeks article about the weekend leading up to the week ahead:
The Moon enters Capricorn 3:05 pm PDT June 29, strengthening the Earth energies with a trine to Mars on its way to the Full Moon on June 30, described at the beginning of the article. It's a good time for treating garden pests, so plan accordingly. That day Venus exactly opposes Neptune, bringing "dreams come true," or weird and peculiar relations. Be very clear about what you understand or do not understand if making important decisions that involve others.
The Moon enters Aquarius 2:24 pm PDT July 1, just after Venus conjuncts Saturn and Mercury sextile Mars. This will begin a new year cycle for Venus-Saturn, and the last one in Leo, since when it conjuncts Saturn for the third time in October, it will begin the Virgo series that will continue for a couple of years. Mercury sextile Mars should help us get a fair amount accomplished despite the retrograde, and as I've noted, I believe that by the end of this Mercury RX period we'll look back on it as more favorable than unfavorable.
This week, follow through, quest for understanding, prepare for things to speed up, and remember that we stand on the threshold of a new era rapidly coming. Decide, consolidate, search for the mystery, and you just may find some interesting revelations. As with last week, this is the time to get information and perspectives about projects, endeavors, or initiatives we've set into motion these past few months.
As noted, the Moon in Aquarius conjunct Neptune and septile Pluto on July 2-3 triggers The Grand Irrationality, which is bringing major forks in the road for all. In late May we went through a very strong activation of this 7 pointed Star pattern, and many who have planets or angles in any of the 7 zones of this configuration confronted major decisions, or forms of compulsive behavior in others, or forks in the road of their destiny, aka, character choices. These are now bearing fruit, or have shown us that some parts of our lives are done, since we took a path different from the one we were on. Expect rapid and expansive growth in the next few weeks.
As noted in other articles,
The Grand Irrationality is why everything feels much weirder than it used to, with hard edges and widespread irrational and/or compulsive behaviors more and more evident. Sometimes these energies grow stronger than at other times, depending on where the planets are. The link to The Grand Irrationality will explain more about this widespread long term influence in depth, along with internal links in that article that explain more about the larger field and what we can do to maneuver it successfully.
Right now the hot zones of The Grand Irrationality fall at approximately 27 Sagittarius-1 Capricorn, 20-25 Aquarius, 11-14 Aries, 2-7 Gemini, 24-27 Cancer, 15-19 Virgo, and 6-10 Scorpio at this time in history. This pattern is setting up the generally strange atmosphere, a lot of compulsions coming to surface as well as forks in the road of our destiny in several areas of life, and overall one long hard edge of choices, changes, and a future that never is quite as logical as we may like.
In dealing with the generic weirdness, remember that even if things get very bizarre or irrational, we are not powerless. Even if destiny is "on the move," we still can steer the process to some degree, if we don't lose our cool in the midst of the great weirdness. We’re learning in these strange times not to lean too heavily on "things making sense," and how to fly by the seat of our pants, not going funky places we shouldn't, and making choices that will propel us into an evolving future that may not make much sense but is perfect for the uniqueness we are.
Every time the Moon triggers the Grand Irrationality we experience a form of a turning point of sorts, where the seeds of the future will stand revealed. Besides July 2-3 when it's in Aquarius, it will also trigger this larger global configuration on July 6-7 when it crosses the Aries zone.
As I've previously reported, we also have a powerful configuration adding to the general weirdness of the Grand Irrationality. Of major importance to us all is that we're in the heart of a several-weeks long very powerful Saturn triseptile to Uranus. I described this briefly in this article, with more in the previously mentioned "Spiritual Astrology" article. For more information about how the Outer Invisible Triad is influencing all signs, please check out Spiritual Astrology in July-August 2007 affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
The Saturn triseptile Uranus irrationality pattern is creating another whole set of "forks in the road of destiny" involving 18-20 Pisces, 9-11 Taurus, 30 Gemini-2 Cancer, 21-23 Leo, 12-15 Libra, 4-6 Sag, and 25-27 Capricorn. Obviously the Moon will trigger this entirely different field of choices and decisons when it moves through these zones on July 1, 5-6, 9, 12-13, 16-17, 20, and 24-25.
Of special importance in these areas of choice and change were when the Sun moved through the late Gemini- early Cancer zone between June 19-24. Right now Venus is moving through the Leo zone (end of June and beginning of July), and this week Mars is in the Taurus zone July 5-9 while Mercury hangs out in the Cancer zone between July 5-13. Mercury's stationary degree being septile Saturn and biseptile Uranus promises to make this irrationality sequence very active for some weeks to come, so heads up!
Just think! For the next few weeks, we'll have weirdness, irrationality, compulsions, and major decisions to make, individually and collectively, over 20 times. Obviously July 5-6 will be very important days, since the Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, and Uranus will all be activated. For advanced astrologers, look out for the times when the Ascendant and Midheaven cross through these zones wherever you live, since it could show very important events that move lives dramatically in directions that will fulfill "destiny" somehow.
The Moon enters Pisces 3:52 am PDT July 4, and makes a lot of great aspects releasing energies through the wide (but still an influence) Jupiter square Uranus. I've written articles in the past describing this influence that has been and will again be a force majure in our lives, so please site google them and refresh your focus, since this is an aspect of genius or temperamentalism. Even if things get peculiar July 5-6 due to the Moon conjunct Uranus triseptile Saturn, do closure rituals and forgiveness practices, release whatever and step into a new dynamic.
The Moon enters Aries 7:57 am PDT July 6. Though there could be initial cross-currents, the Moon makes many favorable trines and sextiles, culminating in the July 8th Grand Fire Trine with Saturn, Venus, and Pluto. It's hard to imagine that weekend would be anything but great!
Be inspired, see what brightening influences have taken light in your life since March that accelerated in April and June, and shine it on! This is a transformative Fire that will soon acquire concrete form as Saturn makes the perfect trine to Pluto, cementing in the holographic ethers what Venus is showing us now. We're setting the pattern of our Fiery inspiration in our lives for some time to come, so lighten up, brighten up, and move with the Fiery dance burning up the deadwood of the past as it shows you new view of new horizons.
The Moon enters Taurus 10:54 am PDT July 8, and it too does an amazing run of great aspects, including quintiles and sextiles to the Sun, a powerful conjunction with Mars septile Mercury, and a septile-sextile with Uranus just as Mercury goes stationary direct at 3 Cancer on July 9 at 7:16 pm PDT.
Though the Moon makes a Fixed T-square in late Taurus on July 9-10, with the supporting Sun trine Uranus culminating July 10-11, this time should be a marvel of quick, efficient changes that are quickly stabilized in particularly enjoyable ways that nurture all involved.
All in all, this week should be great for getting things accomplished, culminating in a burst of fire that settles into something we can truly enjoy. Launch what needs launching, be a cooperative bridge builder, and see how the chaos dis-structured the old and was prelude to a new quality of life being revealed rendering the old patterns obsolete.
Use knowledge and skill to plan with an eye to the future. Be the light in the darkness or the warmth against the cold, and by next weekend you may find you are a more consecrated being than you previously imagined, and here to be effective in a larger realm of service.

hello friend,
i've come to look forward to all you have to tell us. thank you.
i'm in need of some insight, if you would indulge me. alot of what you've written in the past 2 months applies the cycles of 2 years ago that are coming to pass. i believe one of them in my world is a disconnected and abrupt and mysterious relationship that i've been very conflicted about for approximately for that long. it has been on and off.
if you could tell me anything about this relationship it would ease my mind, per se.

how is NM treating you Robert ?
appreciate if you could shed some light on venus retrogrades. i find a lot of immature content here and there but who is to say "-)
Posted by: abacus | July 01, 2007 at 08:05 AM
Hi robyn - As an Aries, he's straightforward, and probably doesn't hedge much about his affections and intentions. 26 is a deepening year, where relationships are defined toward the future rather than the past. He has a Moon in Cancer, so he would be naturally attracted to you, though he's insecure about letting others know his feelings (when he's not erupting impulsively!) You have quite a few points of harmony between the two of you, as well as some internal friction. He has so much Aries it's pretty overwhelming, and if he can learn to be more diplomatic and persevere past the initial steps in things, he's got the potential to be a leader on a major stage.
Hi abacus - Not there yet. We take off in a few days, and should be there for a short while before coming back to LA for the next phase of our long-term transition. As for Venus RX, I'll be composing something soon, since when I hit the road I won't be composing much. I have many articles slotted in for auto-publication, but probably won't be commenting much between July 6-11. And I still have to do the stress zones articles for July, as well as get Cancer - 2007 posted this week! Will try to get the Venus RX done for posting the second or third week of July.

Aloha Robert...Hope you have an exciting and inspirational weekend ya...I would appreciate very much if I could have a progressed reading from you,for myself and my main relationship, when you have the time ya.. I find myself nowadays in introspection most time..and some days, things could be overwhelming for me that I just turn automatic mode :)hope to hear from you soon dearest Robert....

Hi ann - Am definitely excited about the beginning of the shift to NM. The reading is possible, but not for a few weeks, as I must devote the next two weeks to packing, moving, and unpacking, and then am booked solid for the next two weeks. I'll know more in a couple of weeks exactly when I'll have slots, since with Mercury RX, much is up in the air as to where I'll be between late July and late August. You should stay in touch through email, which I'll be able to access from time to time. And when it's overwhelming, remember that you are Eternal, and this is passing.

Hi Robert,
I just noticed at the beginning of this article that the full moon was at 9 degrees Capricorn! It was conjunct my AC and opposite my sun (conjunct N Mercury)give or take one degree. No, wonder I am such an emotional mess, but in a good healthy. I am soul cleaning. And just like house cleaning, a lot of dirt comes up to be removed. Think of cleaning ovens for instance or a pot that food stuck to.
I have this Cancer/Capricorn polarity in my chart and life anyways, so this is good. Perhaps I am going to move a lot of guck out of my life. Even my N Moon is conjunct my N Saturn (Pisces, 2nd house), opposite N Pluto/Uranus conjunct, obviously Virgo/8th house, with Mars in Gemini squaring all of the above.
Whoa! This could get interesting.
peace,
Patricia H.
PS I saw a trailer for a music documentary called "Gypsy Caravan" which looks interesting for people intrigued with world music and cultures.

Hi Patricia H. - I suspect you're learning how to attune to your invisible helpers both inside you and outside you. And of course, we all need some kind of cleaning from time to time. Will definitely check out "Gypsy Caravan."
Hi ann - I will, though it'll be filled with packing and so not much time to comment. I have the articles composed and ready to autopost, but commenting will be getting thin the next couple of weeks.

I believe I read that Saturn will be leaving the sign of Leo on September 2nd, 2007 and entering Virgo.
Could you please tell me the effects this will have with people born in the sign of Leo. I myself am a Cancer and my young daughter is a Leo and it has been four years with Saturn hanging around us and I'm looking forward to it's departure. I know that Saturn in the sign of Cancer weighs more heavily than it does in the sign of Leo, but will there be an easing off effect for Leos when Saturn exits?

A lot of folk are gearing up for this celestial event. I wondered what your take was on the following: "Pluto will be exactly aligned with the centre of our galaxy, something that only happens every 248 years." and what you consider the significance of the aspect?
FIRE THE GRID:
"There is a powerful wave of energy occurring on July 17/07 known as “fire the grid” http://www.firethegrid.com/ where millions of people will be connecting for one hour at the given time of 11:11 GMT through their hearts to “fire the grids” and increase the frequency and vibration of our beloved
Mother Earth. Astrologers have said this is a momentous, unprecedented timing. Pluto will be exactly aligned with the centre of our galaxy, something that only happens every 248 years."

Posted by: ANU | July 03, 2007 at 04:48 AM
Hi Cathy - I'll be posting on Saturn in Virgo for all signs in a few weeks. Briefly, after the rigor of Saturn in Leo restructuring Leo energy wherever we have it, Saturn in Virgo will confirm that energy in concrete practical forms (and of course begin to teach us lessons wherever we have Virgo.) Saturn weighs heavily in whatever sign it's in; it's just Leo, being the consummate performer, tends not to allow the audience to see how discontent they are with Saturn. I have Leo rising. Saturn has put me in training for several years, and now I'm able to use those lessons and skills in different ways. It's the same with you and your daughter. It's not so much that we "escape" Saturn as it is no longer a constant pressure to learn, work, organize, stay disciplined, and obey the constant drumbeat. But we are still affected by our experience for the rest of the cycle lasting about 25 years until the next restructuring of our light, or personality, or thinking, or relationships, or whatever else it has touched. It moves on, but we are changed forever.
Hi suz-d - Well, at the risk of sounding like Andy Rooney, personally I think there's waaaaay too much glamor attached to this manufactured event. Pluto has been conjunct the GC for quite a while, and will be for some time to come. To say "such and such a day is THE cosmic event blablabla" is to be myopic in terms of evolutionary time. This event falls in the same category as "the Age of Aquarius will occur at a certain point, after which all will be different forever." Time and evolution just don't work that way. As I remind people, life is NOT a Hollywood movie, where things happen in neat sequence and we get a big happy ending after which we all live happily ever after. Life is a continuum.
It's ALWAYS good to "fire the grid," and I'd like to think I and many I know do it every day, or at least several times a week, consciously and unconsciously. So by all means, "fire the grid," however and whenever you are called to do so. As for the day and time, it seems arbitrarily chosen, since there's no particular aspect that day that is more significant than others (though there will be a beautiful Moon-Venus conjunction here in the Western hemisphere). I reject the statement that "Astrologers have said this is a momentous, unprecedented timing. Pluto will be exactly aligned with the centre of our galaxy, something that only happens every 248 years." To me this is complete windbaggery and a lot of hype. Pluto WILL be "exactly conjunct" the GC for many months to come. The timing here is NOT "unprecedented." That's nonsense.
If you consult the Stress Zones articles, you'll note that the first 10 days of July are FAR more important regarding choices and changes in the mass consciousness. As for the GC conjunction, of much greater impact for our world will be the Sun-Mercury-Jupiter-Pluto conjunct the GC around the Saturn stationary RX point in mid-December 2007. Also, conjunctions usually don't yield dramatic events, but beginnings. The drama comes at the squares and oppositions. I may sound like a curmudgeon, but this is a human-made event, NOT a celestial turning point, unless we regard every day as a celestial turning point.
Hi ANU - Thanks for stopping by and your words of encouragement. Astrology is the art of synthesizing interlocking cycles, large and small, and show us the echoes across time yielding ripples in the future. It's all quite mind-blowing in its enormity.

RE: fire the grid.... THANK YOU! thank you soooo much Robert...
I am so relieved to read this. and will circulate your sobering response to those groups who are well intentioned but sometimes naive and uninformed. They would claim - but it's good for everyone to link minds and hearts at the same moment in time. Well, yes, that could be true, and it follows the "hundreth monkey" scenario, and how if we have enuf people all thinking and feeling the same thing at the same time, it could created a quantum shift. That's the thinking behind these kinds of events. That is, except that one of my facilitators mentioned that very often after an event where thousands are invoking the Light, that the aftermath is usually the manifestation of something very Dark. With this being a bi-polar planet of duality, there is some truth in that.
My top facilitator always recommends the middle way, the neutral positioning. she even goes so far as to state not to "go for the light" upon leaving the planet, (supposedly an implant station that just sends you right back to Earth to be recycled ...) She recommends to instead go for the grey, the void, the "spinning silver disk" as the target, which goes contrary the Tibetian Book of the Dead,
Anyways, many thanks for your info and your sobering stance on this event.
Posted by: suz-d | July 03, 2007 at 03:40 PM
Thanks for your response. I understand what you are saying. I too have a Leo rising and have many Leos in my life who I see have been going through challenging times. If I told them it was because Saturn was in the sign of Leo, they would think I was crazy. To each their own. But I see a growing effect amongst us all.
I cut out a "Thought du jour" from the Globe and Mail newspaper in Toronto the other day and have the clipping on my fridge. I thought I would post it here.
"I've never forgotten for long at a time that living is struggle. I know that every good and excellent thing in the world stands moment by moment on the razor-edge of danger and must be fought for - whether it's a field or a home, or a country." by Thornton Wilder.
This thought, I believe, could represent what a lot of people, including our society, have been experiencing as of late.
Have a good night. Being a Cancer, it is my birthday today and I am going to go celebrate with my daughter and dog. hahaha. Typical Cancer :)

Hi suz-d - Yes, I have a moment. You're quite welcome, from someone who tries not to be a curmudgeon despite so much cheerleading among well meaning people. Yes, please circulate the message that eternity is now, we are now, and this is about being aware 24/7 and not just going to sleep because we believe we prayed the right way at the right time. I believe a lot of the "new age" cheerleading, while well-meant, is tedious.
Truly, linkage is good, but I still remember when we all believed that if we just meditated the right way the Pentagon would levitate and Vietnam would end. While "the hundredth monkey" may in fact be an example of a form of quantum reality, so is the reality your facilitator mentioned which our good-vibes cannot prevent. That's why this site takes the approach of total awareness every moment, taking nothing for granted, serving the generic suffering. As for those who affirm good vibes: Beware the darkness within, since that attracts every nightmare we of "light" dread. The middle way is truly the way of equilibrium, which prevents us from falling into delusion, including the delusion that we are liberated while others suffer.
Hi Cathy - You're welcome. All of us with Leo Sun or rising have truly been put through a rigor, whether we know why it happened or not. As for your post, right on! We do live in a world of duality, and in any dualistic system struggle is inevitable, if none other than comfortable assumptions of what is versus the quest for the evolutionary edge of existence. And we do live on "the razor's edge," one of my favorite movies (Bill Murray version). Happy birthday and Solar Return, and may you have every joyous thing further your highest intention this next year.

..wow late May the sunday before my birthday June 1st my life suddenly got good then last week as well whats up? so if things are good now ...with a certain Cancer and a certain Taurus seems to have cut me loose and quit acting as you would put it --erratic what will happen with this T-square? when it makes another appearance bad?
Posted by: Colleen | July 04, 2007 at 01:11 PM
Hi Colleen - A brief response: I have no idea what will happen to you as a result of this t-square. I certainly would not think that if things are going well that somehow the square will "make things bad." It sounds like you have a subconscious expectation that squares make things "bad." Please purge yourself of those thoughts, since it won't help your forward momentum.

Robert, Thank you for the well wishes! I looked up "The Razor's Edge" on the computer and was pleasantly surprised to see that it is a movie about searching. I must rent this one day!

Dear Robert
Thank you kindly for your wonderful knowledge and sharing. With a long term ill Aries child (17/04/99 10.32 am UK) whom I was told was going to die as a baby I am a pained Libra mother (13/10/68 UK 10.20 am) feeling the current merc retrograde deeply.I wonder if my hellish passed 10 years are going to subside! Now with a Virgo partner/stepdad 08/09/71 is there a any hope of change? I have been to hell and back because of the Leo ex-husband/childs dad 28/07/64. Is there a new Libran horizon soon?
regards Ana

Hi Cathy - Happy "Bill Murray-ing!"
Hi ana - I really don't have time for more than a check in right now. I'm sure you'll get a new view after the coming Venus RX period.

Robert, if you don't mind me asking, what is your sign??? Mine is July 3, 1969. I am a Cancer Rooster - Eastern as I imagine you know. Also do you do personal charts and if so how much do you charge?
I notice that you're in the middle of a move so I won't be offended if you respond later. Cathy

Hi Cathy - Final posts before I hit the road. For all who wonder: Sun at 12 Aries, 11 Leo rising, Moon in 14 Aquarius, Jupiter conj NN in Pisces, Saturn conj SN in Virgo, Venus in Taurus, Mercury conjunct the 30 Aries MC with Sun conjunct Mars and MC/Mercury in the 9th. I'm a Metal Rabbit-Cat. Yes I still have an open practice. There's a link on the left side of the page that explains my personal consultations. Aum Shanti as I move into the zone.

Your Highness,
There seems to be a grave misunderstanding about FIRETHEGRID.COM. Seeing that I just learned about this event that happens in just a few hours....(here in CA 4:11am) after reading the comments it's clear that most don't understand this event nor it's inception. I was at a 4th of July dinner invite and met a women who has a masters in Mythology. Once we discussed a few spiritual commonalities she felt it was (safe) to share this event with me.
First and foremost, it has nothing at all nor is connected to astrology. It has EVERYTHING to do with a woman who was sexually abused at 5 years old which virtually ruined her life. If anyone knows anything about rape, especially when it is executed by someone a child is suppose to trust, one doesn't get over it. She was an atheist and had no belief in any higher power. She enjoyed Sci Fi movies. That's it.
Firethegrid emerged from she and her 4 year old son drowning and dying in their car in a marsh. She then crossed over and was given a set of instructions on how to bring her child back from the dead, how to find her own bliss and assist others in finding their bliss. They gave her the day of the event back in November 2002 of July 17, 2007. That day is my Father's 3 anniversary of his passing and I had not yet figured what I would do to honor him until I heard this news. I KNOW my father and know that he will be very active spiritually participating. The guy always loved a party. His Aries sun, Jupiter,Mercury,Moon,Uranus conjunct in Pisces trine Pluto in Cancer, where else would he be?

Well, I find some guidelines in your writings.
I'm Scorpio ascendant at 13 º, and have my Midheaven/Immum Coeli at 22ª Leo (MC), Aquarius 22 º down the chart.
My current career, for the past 2 years getting pretty well, has been lately discouraging and getting worse day by day, with Saturn up and Neptune down, with a strong urge to evade into myself and scrutinize it till the point I've realized no matter the money, it doesn't fit me well.
I expect next week with Mars in Taurus launching on this Saturn that now is a totally defeating influence for me and my company professional status (though I've began new studies for reforming my profession), but sadly and annoyingly NOWADAYS I am stressed a lot because I am not able to foresee, to get a grasp on ANYTHING clear about my future. I hope it will change, this opposition in my career-private inner self angles has been(it's being)a true tribulation.
I hope my experience will serve as an example.

Hi Henry - Glad what I've written provides some clarity. Since the planets don't cause anything but merely symbolize your process, perhaps there has been a lack of clarity at play, due to Saturn, ruler of your 3rd, opposed to Neptune, the generic collective atmosphere. Saturn is ultimately where you will find victory through your experience. You have Cancer on your 9th - look to the Moon, natal, progressed, and transiting, to find glimpses of your future. And please remember that oppositions bring awareness as well as polarization, and that the opposition is not the only aspect at work. In fact, the Jupiter trine Saturn should have helped you understand a lot about how your values and ways of relating to money and possessions, as well as your form of self-expression and creativity, harmonize with your communications, interpretations, and foundations. You certainly know more about how your early life affected your values and forms of play. The Sun rules your profession, while Mars rules the work you do for others. Look to these for clues about professional development.

Thanks a lot, Robert.
Keep on, this site is really wonderful and enlightning for those who have a less syntethic knowledge of astrology.
Thanks anew.

Hi Henry - Sure. Thanks for your appreciation. Astrology is a very complex art, and there are many interrelationships that create the wonderful cosmic soup we all are, individually and collectively. Hang in there, avoid useless power struggles, and eventually you'll find a situation where you won't feel so stuck (probably sooner rather than later!)
