I came across your writings weeks ago and they have been an inspiration of love and allowed me to understand the power of Now.
We are planning to move to a new house this july around the 20th, will the moon be still in scorpio ?

Hi Michelle - Thanks for your praise of the site. "Inspiration of love..." is a great thing to say. The Moon is in Libra on July 20 everywhere in the world. The Moon is in Scorpio from 1:18 am PDT 22 July through 1:29 pm PDT 24 July. July 20 is a very auspicious day to move in.

Dear Robert,

Very interesting articles, all. This is the first place where I've read 2012 won't be a disaster.. certainly a different POV. 2023 and beyond sound as if we'll be in that new mindset (looking forward to it), but one question: do you think we need a crisis, as others suggest, to get us there? i.e. pandemic, nuclear war.

I'd like to think that we don't but my husband keeps telling me since humans have been fighting for many, many thousands of years, it will take something "earth shattering" to shake us out of our current state of being.

What do you think?

Hi Elizabeth - I don't think we need it, but I think the inertia of the present trajectory will inevitably lead to major wreckage. There are so many invested in the current unsustainable system that multiple major breakdowns are already in sight. As I remind all, people usually don't get it together because they see the light; they get it together because they feel the heat. It may very well be "earth-shattering," but whatever is shattered must be shattered so we have space to begin building a better, more sustainable and humane world.

We still have a long way to go before our long term graduation day, and we're breaking out of an era of obsolete polarization, selfishness, and separateness. So our job is to take the long view, get ready to be of useful service to our world as it goes through changes, and be the mid-wives and mid-husbands of an era to come that is glorious in comparison to the present fascistic violent insanity. We are the seed carriers, bridge builders, and renovators of our world, here to carry culture forward despite the disintegration of the dying religious, financial, and political systems.

Well said, Robert. Yes, I think you're right..unfortunately or fortunately, it's hard to say. I don't really want to go through an earth shattering crisis but the current state of the world is such an absolute mess, that we probably have to.

With overpopulation, a lack of resources in many areas, hardened thinking, and being at an environmental tipping point are the ingredients of a major crisis.

Hi Elizabeth - We wouldn't have to if we'd all wake up to cooperation and our interdependence, but to reference the Tibetan, it stems from the "heresy of separateness." We are here to build for the future, and maintain healthy ways of living and being while the rest of the illusion crashes from its own excesses. And of course, sing and dance and love and enjoy and celebrate and pull together as the cities crumble into chaos and the oceans and rivers get higher and higher....

Hi Diana - Yes, it is all about experiencing "the flow of the Ocean of Love and Mercy." And of course, your blessing is gratefully accepted in the name of us all. One more wonderful sentiment to turn the Cosmic Prayer Wheel.
