Venus will go stationary retrograde 10:27 am PDT July 27, 2007, at 3 degrees of Virgo. Any time Venus goes retrograde it's a great time to reflect on values, relationships, and why we like or don't like whatever or whoever. This includes our relationship to money, wealth, and things in general, as well as why we value what we do in our relationships, and whether we're working off of old tapes, old hurts, old attachments, and old aversions in relationships that bear no resemblance to what we're living with today.
Most of the retrograde will be in Leo conjunct Saturn, which while "softening" Saturn somewhat, also shows ways of valuing and appreciating whatever functions transiting Saturn is bringing us. This is really the only major aspect Venus makes at its station, which shows that we've hit a threshold that primarily affects areas ruled by Taurus, Leo, Libra, Capricorn, and Aquarius, basically any houses the conjunction occupies or rules, and will be doing a review over the next few weeks about whatever began at the first Venus-Saturn conjunction. As I wrote in a recent article:
Venus conjuncted Saturn for the first of three times on July 1 at 23 Leo. It is now slowing down, preparing to go retrograde on July 27 at 10:27 am PDT at 3 degrees of Virgo, a point of "divine help when human efforts fail," as well as discovering inner powers that bring us assistance wherever we feel "lost in the wilderness."
The second time this conjunction occurs will be when Venus is RX conjunct Saturn at 28 Leo on August 13, and the final one will be October 13-14 at 5 Virgo. This will rearrange several areas of our lives, finalizing some things while launching new one in whatever areas these planets rule and occupy.
Conjunctions are fusions and beginnings, and the degree of the first conjunction this week involves taming and training to bring our vital energies under a skillful self-control.... We should have recently begun new interpersonal activities, either gone through disillusionment and/or realizations, and are preparing to take a look back at recent Venus experiences to get a new angle of vision on what has happened and why, and what new rules, responsibilities, or maturity we've already begun to live.
This Venus retrograde period starts July 27 and ends September 8, 9:13 am PDT. This retrograde moves from 3 degrees of Virgo back to 17 degrees Leo, with the inferior conjunction between Venus and the Sun occurring 8:42 pm PDT August 17 at 25 Leo (August 18 Brazil and points east).
The degree of the inferior conjunction is one of "A Man, alone, daringly crosses the desert on camelback," symbolizing "superiority of knowledge and will over hostile nature," "mental self-control," and "Spiritual stength in facing past karma." A degree of self-sufficiency, Rudhyar also says this degree is one where we need "total independence," and "self reliance" to be "released from bondage" to an old life or reality through "self-containment," "self sufficiency," the willingness to cross a metaphoric desert to reach another life.
As with Mercury retrograde, the inferior conjunction involving Venus (relating and valuing) conjuncting the Sun (life) while retrograde, indicates that values and relationship issues from either outer sources or subconscious sources will fuse with the life principle, setting the tone for the lessons involving how our relationships and values are relating to our lives during the next 19 months. Since Venus is retrograde, the degree of the inferior conjunction shows how our lives will merge with our values and relationships and bring forth a enjoyment and "liking" of our light.
This is the second step in a two-conjunction process. The first step is when Venus conjuncts the Sun in forward motion after its retrograde period. As Venus is faster than the Sun, after this values and relationships again outrace Life, exploring these before the actual experience when the Sun moves through the span after Venus.
Then Venus goes stationary retrograde, and moves into the second step when it again conjuncts the Sun while retrograde. This is when ways of relating and liking things and people are absorbed by Life, or Life takes on the results of subconscious or collective interpersonal feelings returning to source. Eventually Life gets as far from relating and liking whatever as it can, Venus goes stationary direct, and begins to speed up preparing for the first step anew in a different part of the zodiac.
Venus going stationary direct at 17 Leo shows we will all experience a renewal and a form of joy as we participate in a larger "mystery play." Our human-ness will be the foundation for higher efforts after this period is done, resulting from our sensing either our invisible helpers or our hidden powers. We will find new ways of valuing and relating to whatever "invisible help and protection in times of crisis" are promised by Venus' retrograde point, helping us realize "strength within," and by the end of this process we will find ourselves strengthened by "the feeling of togetherness which unites men and women in their dedication to a collective ideal."
Aspects of importance during this Venus RX period include the conjunction to Saturn, the RX square to Mars exact by August 7 at 1 degree Virgo to Gemini, a biseptile to Jupiter, trine to Pluto, and opposition to Neptune. We'll get a chance to feel and review anew the choices and changes set into motion when Venus biseptiled Jupiter July 7-11, as well as the ideals that surfaced when Venus opposed Neptune in late June.
Since Sun, Venus, and Mercury are all clustering opposition Neptune in August during the heart of the RX, it should help clarify our roles and ideals, and give us a chance to appreciate what has been, and what is. The square to Mars may give us a look back to see how we could have used different means to achieve certain ends back in late April at the first square from Venus in Gemini to Mars in Pisces, or perhaps to see distractions then from a different angle of valuing what was.
This time, learn to bargain and trade, rally to whatever is ending and beginning, and welcome new relationships, since they're "fighting spirits" you've probably known before. Navigating this square can assist us when they next square around Mars retrograde point November 19.
In Part 2 I'll give you how this Venus RX will affect each individual sign.

Hi Robert, I feel this venus retrograde is important to me as I was born with venus stationery direct at 25 Leo, so this begins a new 8 year cycle for me with the inferior conjunction conjunct my natal venus. I'm pretty excited and looking forward to inspired creativity at this time! Thanks for your site and illuminating insights! cheers, Emma.

Thanks R. I will come back to this again and again.

Hi, Robert. Will this venus retrograde affect me again since I have my asc at 23 d in leo... virgo is my second house....I had to move from previous home because of conflicts of interest and not enough freedom, it has been challenging but the new place is good, and the house mates seem to be good people so far, I really want to get some new projects happening and on the move.
Posted by: Micheline | July 22, 2007 at 11:16 PM
Hi Emma - Yes, by the time this transit is done, you'll see just how self-sufficient you are, and how past relationship dances helped you become more loving, expressive, and playful on your own terms. Glad you've taken an approach of being excited, since you should be able to get a whole new understanding of your Venus issues.
Hi abacus - Sure. Glad it's got resonant value.
Hi Micheline - It should help you know why you value what you value, and help you shift your appearance and self-image into Leo directions. Obviously it will affect your environment (3rd house) and professional direction (10th house), both ruled by Venus in your chart. Glad your new digs are more satisfactory to you. 3rd house is people close at hand, including "neighbors."

Hello Robert. Hope that you are getting settled in and everything is flowing as smoothly as it can with a move. If one is born with Venus Retrograde, does each time that it goes retrograde have an effect? If yes, what am I looking at when this retrogade is over? (11/11/62-Northampton, MA) As always, thank you very much. You have no idea how wonderful the "research journeys" are after I get your answers back.

Dear Robert~
I have Venus conj my asc in Cancer-sun in Cancer-and my boyfriend has his Venus in the 10th in Libra. He is also is a Leo and has been feeling the full effects of Saturn transiting Leo, although he experienced a break-through on May 15th. We appear to be coming to a decision point that has been a long time coming and set in motion last January, but brought to the table, so to speak, on June 30th. Do you have any insights? They would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

I knew back in January that this would be an important summer for me, but oh my. I have natal Pluto at 3 Virgo in the 12th, natal Uranus at 15 Leo in the 11th. I'm living with my mom this summer, in my hometown, comfy as an old shoe, and on July 2 (day after the Venus/Saturn conjunction) Mom had knee replacement surgery. So yes, my 12th house is activated as I have dealt with the hospital and a sense of confinement as Mom recovers at home with me the caregiver.
I return to my vibrant adopted home city on the West Coast on Sept 6, 2 days before Venus stations direct, 3 degrees from my natal Uranus. I'm betting I get recharged by returning to friends and relationships. Maybe some surprises waiting for me there?
And that retrograde station on my natal Pluto this Friday!! What do you make of that, Robert? Powerful forces are involved, certainly!
Thanks for a beautiful blog.

Hi Vahana - If Merc RX periods are natural for people with Merc RX, I would think the same applies to Venus RX. You're probably going to review a lot, but I can't really comment on all possible manifestations. Too much for a comment stream.
Hi Kat - People with heavy Venus will feel the effects of Venus RX very strongly, though in a different way than usual. I would think this time will be good for taking a new look at some old relational issues one last time before putting them in heart's order.
Hi Shayne - I'm sure you'll find a new value to your Pluto, and your Leo will reveal new assets for you to use creatively. Late July through August will bring you a lot of completion. Prepare to restructure many things in the near future. New responsibilities are on the way.

Hi Robert,
I'm a bit confused by this one. Venus going retrograde at 3 degrees Virgo means it goes retrograde at the same degree as my natal Saturn - a point transiting Saturn will hit in September when my second Saturn return occurs. Does Venus going retrograde at this point have any relevance to the Saturn return?
I like the way you say in Part 2 of the Venus retrograde article that Pisces (I have Sun, Moon and Mars in Pisces) will have a chance to heal from the impact of old losses and deaths. My husband died around the time of my first Saturn return. Although that's ancient history now there's a part of me that still carries something of that pain.
Thanks for your generous spirit and helpful insights.

Forgive me for indulging myself by asking a question pertaining to my own chart/experience…
Traditionally speaking, I know that it is extremely common to frown upon starting relationships during Venus retrograde period. I met someone ON THE HOUR Venus moved into “the shadow” of the retrograde period last month. It has gone very slowly…still unclear if it will lead anywhere. Though I am intensely curious if anything will shift on Friday. Perhaps it will simply end and I will be left to reflect. Wondering if you have any thoughts about the meanings of new relationships started during these introspective times.
This doesn’t have to answer my question in particular. Just curious as to what people think of venus retrograde and relationships in general.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Posted by: Ben | July 24, 2007 at 07:15 AM
Hi sue - Yes. Venus is "heralding" your Saturn return, which should show you Venusian influences that will be present in the present and future. It actually should bring you helpers, strength, and relief in some way from the old Saturn issues. It may be that you find a new affection, a new set of likes, or something that will show you that you have indeed graduated into a new realm of feelings and relationships, and close the door on the old feelings, if not the old memories. Blessings on your new passage.
Hi Ben - Venus RX can be great for new relationships. It can be that they will remind you of someone long ago, or have traits of someone in your past, or show you issues you must deal with that you thought were buried. Your meeting point would seem to show that you'll know what this one's about by mid-September, when Venus is back where it was at the inception. That will be the "real" beginning of this, and show what it's based on. A Venus RX relationship can be one where we uncover and reverse old hurts and misunderstandings, and are offered changes to exteriorize old Venus RX memories and behaviors for the purpose of seeing how they serve our evolutionary process.

Thanks for the comment Robert, Looking back at past venus retrograde times, it does seem that people I meet are more about teaching me lessons about my attitudes toward social/romantic interaction than anything long term. Obviously don’t want to make anything a self-fullfilling profecy though.
So interesting that I seem FAR more likely to meet people during the venus retrograde times. I’m one of those people that is nearly always single. (venus square saturn here) I am particularly intrigued by this particular venus period because it is so connected with Saturn (conjuncting it for much of the time) and it coincides exactly with my progressed moon moving into my 7th house.
Great site you got here. Glad I found it.
Posted by: Ben | July 24, 2007 at 08:28 AM
Hi Ben - Sure. Just don't allow Venus square Saturn to preprogram struggle in what should be a dance. Your P Moon should help you find nurture in this area, and be more intimate in your experience of past and present Venus/Saturn dynamics. You may even be able to transform your square into more of a conjunction type of energy. As an aside, P Moon in the 7th can make you an amazing mirror and reflector of the feelings and personalities of those you're with. Just don't take on any habits that aren't true for you. Thanks for your praise of the site, and I'm also glad you found it. This cantina is a unique piece of work.
Posted by: Robert | July 24, 2007 at 09:37 AM
Thanks once again Robert - this site certainly is a unique cantina. All your positive words are encouraging. Like Ben I feel l'm single more often than not (Venus in Aquarius) but who knows what's around the corner.
Best wishes - Sue.

On a more global, less personal level, it is fascinating to watch some of the earlier times of Venus retrograde. I know there are a few brilliant examples but the one that comes to mind is the Venus station on May 17, 2004. That was the day that Massachusetts issued their first marriage licenses to same-gender couples. Throughout the retro period through the summer there was intense fighting about the definition of marriage, family, and partnership. By the time venus finished that cycle, it was pretty clear that marriage was there to stay, thus fundamentally challenging the way (some) people think of partnership.
During that time venus was opposing Pluto (transformation), quite a different cycle than this one (conjuncting Saturn). I’m interested to see if there are any obvious events on the world stage that correlate with this event.
...back to personal...good advise robert. ..thinking of it like a dance. my venus is quite bruised so venus "stuff" is usually quite difficult. Always interesting though!
Posted by: Ben | July 25, 2007 at 06:05 AM
Hi sue - We do strange dances here, mainly in order to learn what love is and is not. Venus in Aquarius is an idealist of the highest order and does well making friends, thus elevating Venus' energies to a very high plane.
Hi Ben - Great insights about Venus RX on the world stage. As for bruises, well, we do take a few tumbles while we're learning how to ride bicycles. But if we continue to try to become skilled at something, we usually wind up doing fairly well over time.

Hi Robert,
I really love your site, it's very informative. I am happy to see that Saturn is leaving Leo, but concerned that it is now moving into Virgo. I am a Leo with 5 planets in Virgo! Venus, moon ascendent, pluto and uranus are all in Virgo. My birthday is July 30, 1965. Can you offer any suggestions? I just started a relationship in June which is proving to be challenging already!
Thanks so much!
Anne
Posted by: Anne | July 25, 2007 at 07:35 AM
Hi Anne - You're entering a time of restructuring all the Virgo parts of your life after the restructuring you did as it crossed your Sun. So you're going to learn what you can and cannot live with in terms of feelings, how your everyday life is structured, which relationships have outlived their time and which are going to become deeper and more mature. All your relationships will be challenged, and you'll know which are appropriate and which are obsolete. You'll also end things that began in 1978-79, and claim your maturity based in your experience in a whole new way. I did an article about Saturn conjunct your Asc or planets which you can find via the site google box on the upper right.

Hi Robert,
Very interesting.... I am already feeling it!
Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Robert,
Yes - love is a strange thing indeed. Friendships I love though even they can be a minefield sometimes. This week Tibetan Buddhist monks are visiting town and have set up shop in the gallery where I work so I get to spend time sitting their presence every day. Love as bliss is the flavor of the week - a bit of spiritual nectar to sweeten the intensity of twenty first century life. Ah - if only they settled here permanently but I guess that wouldn't teach me impermanence.
Peace to you, Sue
Posted by: sue | July 26, 2007 at 12:46 AM
Hi sue - Well, in these parts impermanence seems to be the only thing that's permanent! ;-) And how do you know that once they've been there, there isn't a long term "residue" left for the benefit of all sentient beings? Enjoy the presence and the echoes.
Posted by: Robert | July 28, 2007 at 06:43 AM
Hi Robert,
This is such an interesting explanation of what's been happening@ I've been in touch with my first love after over 25 years AND left a 10 yr long job, so your words ring true, amazingly. I am a Leo with 5 planets in Leo, Sag Asc. (8/5/55), so this has been a crazy time, as you know. I'm almost afraid to find out what happens next!
But thanks for explaining all the drama...
Posted by: Evelyn | July 30, 2007 at 09:11 PM
Hi Evelyn - Sounds like Venus RX to me! You're now restructured thanx to Saturn, and Jupiter on your Asc is offering you a new adventure, surely much larger than those before now. For you, the time is both crazy and wonderful.
Hi Tulip - Sorry he wasn't up front and honest with you. FYI, he's also under a lot of pressure from Uranus in Pisces. Most people don't tell their other up front they're about to break up. You're right about Venus RX, also remember that it is when subconscious stuff comes up and out, or past loves are remembered and emotional sludge gets in the way of current loves, or unfulfilled relational images come up and a person can act on them, for good or ill. I wouldn't say it's worse, but he's certainly majorly affected by Venus transits. There is no "normal" in astrology unless the person chooses textbook autopilot. Each has their own way of responding and some do it with more style. If he returns, it'll never be the same anyway, and there's nothing to get back to. Consciousness and life are a one way street, and the "moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on..."
Posted by: Robert | July 31, 2007 at 07:19 AM
Hi Tulip - You're welcome. Better to move into a more healthy and honest relationship than hold on to one where deception or whatever is in the heart of someone. He's not very aware if he jumped out of one into another, and I'm sure his next steady will find out he's as unfaithful to the ideal as he was to yours. Take this RX time to reflect, release the pain, and face the future freed from old illusions and someone who obviously wasn't the right guy for you. Persevere, raise yourself to your highest Self, and eventually you'll attract someone perfect for who you are and what you want and need.
Posted by: Robert | July 31, 2007 at 10:19 AM
Hi Robert,
I'm a bit late with this response and the dialogue has moved on into new areas but I just wanted to say yes I agree about impermanence being the only constant these days.
I also agree with your ideas about the residual energy staying around after the monks have left - heaps of cleansing and clearing going on around me and within me this week on all kinds of levels. Wonderful stuff.
Keep up the good work - I love the way you respond to so many different people and their diverse problems so readily - hope you're still enjoying those New Mexico evening skies - Best wishes - Sue

HI Robert
I find all the Venus Retragrade thing quite incrediable at the moment. Literally out of the blue a guy ran up to me the other night in the dark no one else around. I instantly trusted him before I even could see him.Later he so much reminded me of the good side of one person in particular an ex. I did a chart on him and the others. Everything felt so destined and overwhelmingly natural. All 3 men are Virgo and have strong Leo Cancer Libran influences Basically they have the same influences in differring positions and strenghts.
eg 1)This guy has Libran moon,8/9/64 rising Leo cancer Venus Appeared for the first time last weekend for good or whatever? He feels like he has been around before.
2)last guy rising Cancer 9/9/55(middle aged )Just reappeared today
3)Previous guy Virgo rising cancer 15/9/48 (older.)Reappeared a week ago
My numerology is 3 I am gemini, 01/06/58 rising Cancer I am used to strange occurences much stranger than this
I am still scratching my head on this one.
I thought I was given another chance with a better mix for me. Unfortuantely and very much to my surprize, like a puff of smoke, gone as quickly as it came. Do you have any insights or theories? Is there some message here or just some sort of Retro Venus coincidence?
Thanks for this site its so interesting Robyn :)
Posted by: Robyn | August 01, 2007 at 07:53 AM
Hi Sue - Well, I couldn't respond before now anyway. The skies are beautiful, but I've been back on the road to/from LA picking up another load of necessities we forgot the first time! Glad the "chitta" of the monks does stick to wherever they are, since it leave a residue of helpfulness to whomever is receptive. Will keep responding as I can, but for now, there's other work to be done.
Hi Robyn - Yes, Venus RX brings interesting interactions and unexpected meetings. Stirs things up so we can feel/re-feel what we need to in order to move beyond old memories and interpretations, and see/feel the energetics from a different angle. It's probably showing you what stays the same, and what is different in how you respond to those energies.

Hi I just came across your site and have read your letters and comments. Is there any hope for a 6/25/54 - 11/:50am/nyc with venus - leo square saturn to find a life enhancing love relationship - I am told negative things about this square Sounds like you offer a different sort of insight
Thanks,, alot
Gera
Posted by: gera | August 06, 2007 at 12:04 PM
Hi Gera - Welcome to the site. That square is often difficult due to people learning rigidity and excessively inflexible rules and expectations early in life about "making love work" when we know it should be a dance, a play, and a joy! It challenges you to let go of feeling obligated to suffer through love's changes and enduring love's disappointments and be more impersonal, more genuinely friendly and dispassionate in finding the joys of love's simple pleasures. Learn to like what is enjoyable, and let go of discontent around what love seems to be or not to be. It gives a great potential for becoming the living embodiment of a great cause or life mission, once your relationships and values are seen from a wider yet simpler angle of view.
You've now learned some major relational lessons, and are free to move into a new way of doing your Being. The ones that have ended outlived their purpose, while the ones you still have are now deeper and stronger. The first start in your new cycle will be early October, though by mid-November you'll have to take care of some things before you actually move into your new life. December gives you a change to rework whatever you need to, preparing to launch your new professional/public/self-expression cycle in March-April 2008. 53 ends whatever hassled you at 52, and offers illumination and integration preparing you for a deepened compassion and understanding at 54. And of course you're welcome.

Hi Gera and robert,
I would just to add my two cents about saturn square venus. I have that aspect exact. Not only that…the midpoint between saturn and venus is the same degree as my ascendant.
One thing that an astrologer once said to me that was very helpful was, “ don’t look at any planet or configuration as “causing” something. Think of it as a gauge in your car giving you information. Do you get mad or scared at the gauge in your car if it says you are almost out of gas?” This position of Saturn merely indicates some serious tension around intimacy partly because of fear or insecurity. For the longest time I truly believed that I wanted a relationship with all my heart. Through meditation and some serious therapy I have really come to realize that to a large extent I fear intimacy and I fear closeness. While I’m still a long way away from truly solving some of these issues, I’m pretty happy now despite being single more often than most people. I no longer look at myself as a victim of some crappy Saturn aspect. Saturn is kindly letting me know that I have some serious issues to work on regarding self-worth, relationships, etc. I know I’m pretty young, but I think I have learned a lot from this aspect so far and it has given me a really deep appreciation for what venus is about.

Hi Ben - As per the many articles and comments on such things, I always stress that the planets do not cause anything, but merely indicate the larger gestalt in which we live and breathe and have our Being. A Venus-Saturn affliction may or may not mean "serious tension around intimacy partly because of fear or insecurity." Afflicted Saturn always shows as fear or insecurity, but Venus may mean values, resources, or a host of other manifestations. The houses show the interactions with the external reality, so yours could be a 3rd, 7th, or 11th house issue if you're dealing with how to relate to others in your world. And of course, Venus afflicting Saturn can mean what you say, but only as long as you tolerate that dysfunction. Saturn is dominion or slavery, as I pointed out in the article about the planetary dualities. Venus is one's own vanities and so forth, so a Saturn affliction could be rigidity rather than fear. There is never a problem with intimacy - the problem is with FEAR - a very dangerous disease which I've dealt with at length in many articles. Cure the fear and you'll solve intimacy problems, since Saturn always trumps Venus in terms of influence. Once you hit your Saturn return, you'll understand more about how to make Saturn your friend, and then all the past problems will be stepping stones to a greater maturity and autonomy.

Robert - your insight and grand perspective is inspiring

I am currently coming out of Saturn's 2nd return to my natal Saturn in Leo. With Saturn in my 10th house my career area has been rather bleak and now with the venus retrograde in Leo,Whew! Will I get a chance to find a career that is significant in this life? I was once told that I would be very mature before I would have something significant in my career area. My Birthday is Jan. 27, 1948 with Libra rising. I am an artist and would love to show my work with my venus in Pisces in the 5th house,is this possible?
Posted by: Peg | August 21, 2007 at 10:00 AM
Hi Gera - Sorry to take so long to reply, but with so many comments on the road some dropped off before I could answer. Saturn's not about "romantic love." Saturn teaches us, if we're open, to a mature love that could last several lifetimes, where one sees one's responsibility and knows healthy boundaries. In its highest manifestation Saturn refuses to enslave the object of love, and refuses to be enslaved by anything that would block Unconditional Love. It may accompany a slowing of "the flow," but also brings us patience, maturity, and contentment. It shows us whether we and others are truly in it for the long haul.
Hi Peg - You should already have revisited things from the past showing you signals of what and how you once wanted to flower, and could again. Saturn in the 10th can bring wide recognition when Dharma is unconditionally embraced. If you don't know what that is, send out a demand to Spirit that it send you clear signals about which way to grow, then when you're staring your higher potential in the face, just do it!
You have a very powerful rectangle that includes your Saturn which shows you can turn every setback into a boost if you don't yield to pessimism (Mercury opposed Saturn trine Jupiter sextile Uranus). You have genius, compassion, imagination, and are adept at multitasking. Saturn on your Mars will add discipline, while opposition your Venus should free you from unproductive or distracting relationships. Find the right means to achieve your ends, and keep things on track despite the many inevitable interruptions. Also remember the path of the artist is 4th Ray, involving bringing harmony out of friction in order to infuse the art motif with enough emotional power to move the viewer to a higher and/or deeper level of experience.
Demand the revelation of what and how to do your Dharma, and pay attention, since you'll get an answer pdq. With your Jupiter return happening as we speak, the more you open to the wider view, and the magic and adventure, the sooner the 12 year wave will lift you up.

Hi Robert - how does Venus retrograde affect Aries? Does it mean I can not start an unconditional friendship? Thank you

Hi, I'm new to astrology, so my understanding is limited, I'm Libra 26/9/64, unfortunately I don't know my time of birth, is it possible to find out my moon, rising, etc? would greatly appreciate some help :-)
Thank you,
Posted by: Julie | August 25, 2007 at 04:30 AM
Hi Larissa - It affects it a thousand ways. You can start a true friendship whenever you want, since it takes a while to determine whether it is, in fact, "a true friendship."
Hi Julie - You cannot find your rising sign without a birth time, but there is much that can be known even without a birth time. You are Moon in Gemini, unless you were born just after midnight at certain parts of the world. Much can be known even without the Ascendant, as the planetary patterns are solid even when the time isn't. Due to too many shifts in supposed birth times, I had to change my approach to delineate the birth chart without taking the rising sign into account.
