This Partial Solar Eclipse falls at 19 Virgo, showing we're all about to be educated on a practical level, learning through forms of "right actions" the value of various techniques of COOPERATION. Since this Solar Eclipse falls conjunct the South Node and in the same sign as Saturn, expect "liberating ordeals" to show you ways to "hear the call" and launch distant or visionary projects you need to in the future. That Mercury in Libra rules the Solar Eclipse is a very good thing, since ultimately our changes will bring us relief from old tensions.

Though it is still a few weeks off, today we revisit an article on the influence of The Solar Eclipse. These are important "footprints in time," as they set many things into major motion, shutting down some of the "lights" in our lives while opening us to other distant "lights," thus creating needed space for our personal evolution. They are not to be feared, though they do bring radical change and life transformations.

In Parts 1 and 2 we explored general Spiritual factors of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto bringing forth our Higher Self as we stand individually and collectively at the threshold of a new era. I offered points of particular importance due to major aspect patterns going on in September and October. Today we continue to explore more about the pressure we're under and within, what it means, and how this is impacting certain signs directly.

With Uranus and Neptune retrograde, we continue to review these "spiritual" forces at work since the threshold states of April through June. Pluto direct early in September and Neptune direct the end of October prepares us to retrace this ground one more time the next few months before they enter unknown zones early 2008. Uranus is still binovile Pluto, offering ways to see the common basis for divergent realizations. In September and October Neptune will manifest rewards from Spirit resulting from our appreciation and gratitude, while Uranus brings rebirth and inspiration in quiet moments.

Jupiter and Saturn translate the energies of the outer Invisible Triad into widespread social influences within which our personalities operate in local conditions, however wide or narrow our field of influence. They are now in the heart of a long term biseptile, and When these two powerhouses are in biseptile, major changes are set into motion globally on every level imaginable. That's why things seem crazier than usual right now, and there is a constant "hard edge" to our world. Expect radical decisions to be made these next weeks that make no sense, but will show us a larger destiny for a long time to come.

Today we take a new look at a subject of great importance in helping us end negative thinking and unhelpful mental patterns that frustrate us and only lead to wheel spinning. This will be even more important as Saturn enters Virgo, since precision in thinking leads to precision in what presents itself.

We're now solidly in an extreme zone where Mars at 11 Gemini exactly opposes Jupiter at 11 Sag. This challenges us to keep our perspective and avoid risky schemes, but also is a point at which long term Jupiter in Sag initiative and visions are finally coming to surface and getting kicked into high gear. This will favorably impact all points around 9-13 Aries, Leo, Libra, and Aquarius, so build what you can since it's a very dynamic powering-up in these spans.

Today we continue our examination of what the coming Virgo-Pisces total Lunar Eclipse holds for our world. As it builds on yesterday's analysis, you may want to re-read that before picking this one up, since I discuss the Grand Fixed Cross effect, as well as the different rising signs around the world at the times they experience the Eclipse. It's definitely a volcanic effect in the making, so get ready to rock and roll!

In a few days we get the second Lunar Eclipse of 2007 at 5 degrees of Virgo-Pisces on August 28 at 3:35 am PDT (3:37 am according to the NASA site). 14 days later we experience the second Solar Eclipse of the year on September 11 at 19 Pisces just 12 days before the Autumnal Equinox at 2:52 am PDT on September 22. Both eclipses will shut some old ways of life down forever (as all eclipses do), leaving us space to embrace the new already waiting for us exactly mirroring what we've prepared for up to now. These will shine a light on closures, courage, and transmutation of energies into personality strengths in our process of "escaping from a narrow destiny," shown by whatever educated us since September 2006's Solar and Lunar Eclipses.

Yesterday we discussed how Saturn in Virgo will affect different generations of people, and what to be aware of as we navigate this year and next when this effect will dominate the landscape. Today we will discuss the effect of Saturn in Virgo on each sign. If you know your rising sign, or Ascendant, read that sign as well as your Sun sign.

Today we explore how Saturn in Virgo will affect all of us. This powerful transit is a force majure in its own right, regardless of how any other planet is affecting us. In classical astrology, Saturn is said to be fairly harmonious in the Earth sign of Virgo, as its nature is a combination of the Earth of Capricorn and Air of Aquarius. The mutable quality helps Saturn, since it's Cardinal (initiating) and Fixed (stabilizing) and can use the adaptability of the Mutable Virgo. Let's examine what its process has offered us the past few years, and what we'll be learning in the 2+ years to come in Virgo.

Today we take a new look at one of the crucial factors in understanding how Astrology works on a practical level. Dispositorship is a primary factor in how any planet in any sign manifests, as it provides the background material to why the "inner lights" work as they do. Though each of the planets has their areas of influence, how that influence works is entirely dependent on what rules the sign they're in.

This is a reprint of something I wrote concerning how Astrology works, and why belief systems are not an adequate substitute for systems of checks and balances confirming one's hunches or seeing possible errors of assumption. It discusses the relationship of self consciousness, subconsciousness, and superconsciousness, and how to cultivate true intuition, or "inner knowledge."

Today we celebrate the shining star that is the sign of Leo, and explore the qualities of this noble, giving, loving, powerful Fire sign that represents the principle of Solar Fire, one of the three cosmic fires that pervade our solar system. We all have this "kingly" or "queenly" royal quality somewhere in our charts, the area where we are the law, the light, and the center of power holding court in our own private solar system. Leo shows us the way to center ourselves in our higher law.

Jupiter is now direct in motion, thus affecting all Sagittarius and Pisces areas of our lives. It begins a time of "forced growth," where we will see rewards offered for accelerating the pace and activity of our lives. It now traverses its retrograde span between now and the end of October, after which it will conjunct Pluto at the Galactic Center before it moves into Capricorn.

Though many consider her an ill-advised windbag, it was interesting to me that Dr. Laura herself challenged something I posted a while ago about Gandhian philosophy and tactics as viable means to achieve productive social ends in our so-called "modern" society. While wandering through my archives one night, I thought it might be entertaining for you to re-visit an interesting (though admittedly one-sided) contretemps between moi and one of our modern sources of air and consciousness pollution. My article was re-posted by a fan of the site, she responded, and this was my response as a committed Gandhian.

Jupiter biseptile Saturn is now exact. Changes are in motion, much that can go askew is going exactly there, and yet many things are revealed by how things are getting done and what momentum is being generated. This is a crucial moment in a long term process, and is showing us how "destiny is in motion" on some very large levels, since Jupiter and Saturn rule large scale social processes on individual and collective levels.
