We often wonder why we seem to be limited by circumstances. Every truth-seeking Soul I know wants to be better and do whatever they do or could do more effectively. Thus the topic of today's consideration, the Ring Pass Not. In esoteric philosophy this binding force represents that field within which we must learn whatever we must learn before seeking other fields of exploration, realization, application, and expertise. It is the means by which our quest for Truth becomes coherent.

Since we still have a few weeks to go in this particular time warp, please remember that we're all living within a big weirdness that seems relentlessly unending, at least from the perspective of we who still use time to measure our experience. Septile series aspects are associated with "destiny producing events," and being non-rational, can manifest as obsessive-compulsive behaviors, things that don't make sense, irrationality, and a feeling of a lack of control. Of course this last feeling is unreal, but so are many of the other sensations going on right now. There are reasons for all of this, and by noting the timing of certain aspects, we can mitigate or cooperate with the larger process we're all experiencing.

In yesterday's article, we explored our Eternal Self, how our Spirit-Soul and Higher Mind are created, and what relationship these have to our body, feelings, and ego-minds. Please reference that article before reading this one as the information there lays the foundation for what we'll explore in this article.

I've had a lot of questions about the nature of human nature, i.e., what exactly is our "Spiritual Self," and how does our ego fit into the larger scheme of our evolution? While this could fill a hundred books or more (and has!), today I'll offer a brief overview of what's up with us on visible and invisible levels, and how we should view the various spiritual and human parts.

This year's Harvest Moon occurs at 12:45 pm PDT, on September 26, 2007, at 4 degrees Libra and Aries. This lunation will definitely attract those who belong together, while offering a chance for all to be the individual selves with no need for unnecessary compromise or losing oneself in relationship. We will all learn from standing for what we believe in and asserting our truth, whether others approve or not. The trick will be to see it all as a training exercise, where we must do our dance on our own initiative while being "coached" by our helpers, both visible and invisible.

The Autumnal Equinox of 2007 occurs on September 23 at 2:52 am PDT, and marks the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn. The chart done for the that point in time is said to offer a snapshot of the weather we can expect over the next 3 months, both cosmically and literally. It seems that it will be a fairly auspicious Autumn, since there are a host of great aspects and the afflictions are for the most part separating. The Moon on the Angel point conjunct Neptune offering "gifts from Spirit" looks good to me!

Just a note to remind you that we're in the heart of a very volatile T-square that is probably showing some dramatic changes in a lot of lives. If you were born around mid-March, mid-June, mid-September, or mid-December this is showing you what must be changed, or focused, or dealt with in some way entailing attention to details, precision in applying your energies along multiple lines, and ending what must be ended with as much compassion as you can muster in the midst of some fairly extreme circumstances.

September is the end of Summer, a time when the Solar force is waning. This month sorts and adjusts what of our Summer labors are useful and working as they should, and the distributive Earth energies of Virgo help us do practical tasking preparing us for Autumn’s arrival on September 23, 2007, at 2:52 am PDT, September 24 in Eastern Europe and points east. The Autumnal Equinox was given that name because the lengths of day and night are the same. It is said that you can balance an egg on its end at that precise point in time, thus Libra's association with the sign of the balanced scales. For now, this time of Virgo prepares us for a new way of life and new relationships in the Libra time to come.

Today's post was inspired by a reader who wondered how I define a "helpmate" and is that the same as our "Twin Flame." While there is a vast difference between those who help us and our "Divine Other," I thought a post could help clarify how I regard these. If you're wondering what to look for in your perfect mate, the one you've been waiting for across space and time, read on.

Well, one thing's for sure - the next several years we'll see a hot time on planet Earth, with a lot of changes forcing us all to adapt in big ways. Whether it's "good" or "bad" is in the eye of the beholder, yet if we find the right way of viewing what we can and cannot do in the present and future, it'll all make sense as we surf the tides leading to 2012 and beyond. A new era is upon us, and our positioning is everything.

While perusing the archives, I found this gem written some time ago extensively exploring the "Mayan calendar" currently being cited as indicating the end of time on December 21, 2012. I found that the Dreamspell "Mayan calendar" being used is NOT the true Mayan calendar, was never used by the Maya, and is only somewhat related to the original way the Maya recorded time. If you're wondering what the Mayan experts have to say about 2012 being "the end of time," read on.

Today we revisit a crucial factor in astrology, the compatibility of our charts with other charts. There are many ways to approach how we relate to other beings, whether through the composite chart (the midpoints of any two charts) or what is called Synastry, showing how one chart fits into another chart. I also explain why the timing in the Marriage chart is of extreme importance in showing us future trends and crucial points of shift in how that marriage will unfold.

Mars activates and accelerates the pace of events in our lives. People currently going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or having the hardest time the first half of September are Geminis born the second week of June, Virgos born the second week of September, Sagittarians born the second week of December, and Pisces born the second week of March. If you were born in these zones, focus on what constitutes responsible action, given these birth periods show more highly agitated energy than usual. The second half of the month this applies to the mentioned signs born the third weeks of those months, and the very end of the month it applies to March Aries, June Cancers, September Libras, and December Capricorns.

Mars triggers whatever happens of note in our charts. In September 2007, Mars moves from 16 Gemini through 1 Cancer, triggering a critical turning point in the first of three oppositions to Pluto through March 2008. An early square to Uranus and a Mutable T-square involving Mars opposition Pluto both squared by the Sun from September 14-23 promise to break a lot of stuff loose, bringing endings and peculiar circumstances in a weird movie. Remember that we have two irrationality patterns at play right now, so be adaptable and learn as much as you can from shifting circumstances and strange turns of events.

Since it's the topic du jour, I figured I'd pull my Eclipse articles together so you don't have to pick through the archives. One thing I've noted - there is a lot of "doom and gloom" out there about eclipses. While they do bring about endings, those finalities need to happen so we can have the space to move on. We can see the direction we need to move toward through what choices we're offered when confronted with challenges to transform.

While going through the archives, I stumbled on a comment about intercepted signs and planets and realized I had never done an article about this common but little understood phenomenon. Almost everyone born above a certain latitude has intercepted signs, while those born closer to the equator almost never have them. So let's have a look into what these can indicate in a chart.

Continuing to explore the influence of the North and South Nodes of the Moon, today we take a new look at how the Nodes are an influence in transits and therefore eclipses. There is a substantial difference between how they work in the Natal, Progressed, and Solar Return charts and how they work as transiting factors interacting with other transiting planets.

Today is Part 2 of a new look at the North and South Nodes of the Moon, and how their influence may be interpreted in terms of sign and house position. Though this is not an exhaustive study (that would take two books!) enough will be covered to open your imagination to significant ways the Nodes exert an influence in our charts and how we may steer that influence.

Today we revisit very important factors in Astrology that are even more significant given we are in between two eclipses portending somewhat radical effects, given their aspects. We have 2 Solar and 2 Lunar Eclipses each year. An Eclipse occurs when the New and Full Moons conjunct the North and South Nodes of the Moon, and set events into motion for months and years to come.

Yes, according to a Japanese explorer who claims to have found ruins of the lost continent of Lemuria, or Mu, "in the waters off Southern Japan." Thanks to a timely tip from a client and friend of the site, I tracked the news story (thank you Great Britain) but could not access the video link she sent. The US media seem to have completely ignored this history-making assertion. The scientist claims the ruins are 4000 years old, which would place them of more recent vintage than we are told in ancient chronicles and more recent definitive authorities. I've included the news story below, so you may evaluate the importance of this discovery for yourselves.
