Today we wish Bob Gaudio a very happy birthday, and may you have many, many more. Though some who have lived on Mars from the 60s to the present have never heard of him, he was the musical genius behind the Four Seasons. While Taurus Frankie Valli held the spotlight with his 3 1/2 octave voice belting out hits like "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry, "Dawn (Go Away)," "Rag Doll," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You," (to name but a few of their many hits) it was Bob Gaudio who wrote these and more. Today I've found a few video clips of the group at their finest.

Today we continue exploring Mars retrograde and the meaning of where it's at and some ways it could show in our lives. Mars goes stationary retrograde at 13 Cancer, a degree indicating we must be strong and flexible as we cultivate our individuality based in decisions made in late September and early October. This time will help us strengthen our determination, steadfastness, and sense of responsibility so we can strengthen the results of those decisions.

Today we continue examining Mars retrograde and how it's manifesting in people's lives. I've noted that many are suffering more intensely lately due to a variety of very complex feelings coming up. It seems that there's more despair, more of a sense that things are slipping backwards with extreme personal feelings pervading the atmosphere.

Mars is already slowing down quickly, preparing to go retrograde November 15 at 12:24 am PST (8:24 am GMT) at 13 degrees of Cancer. It will stay retrograde in Cancer through December 31 at 8:01 am PST when it slips back into its two month return to Gemini. This question pops up regularly, most recently in a comment stream. When looking at material for the signs, should we read our Sun sign, our Rising sign, our Moon sign, or what? When we read what's happening for each sign, which is more important and less important, the Sun or Ascendant?

This month accents the water sign Scorpio, where we transcend the forms we’ve glimpsed up to now and move deeper into the experience of people and activities. We can concentrate power by purifying ourselves of obsolete or stagnant feelings, and going deeper into our mystery to regenerate what we need to get from here to where we're going.

Mars activates and accelerates the pace of events in our lives. People currently going through dynamic activity, a hectic fast-paced period, or having the hardest time the entire month of November are Aries, Cancers, Libras, and Capricorns born the first few days of April, July, October, and January. If you were born in these zones, focus on what constitutes responsible action, given these birth periods show more highly agitated energy than usual.
