As noted yesterday, Jupiter conjuncts Pluto once every 12 years, mas o menos. It is useful to do a chart for all significant conjunctions between transits, since it offers a glimpse of what the subsequent cycle is about. Where it falls in our charts shows where the fused energies will manifest. This one has the Sun and Mercury conjunct Jupiter and Pluto, a Grand Water Trine, and a Mystic Rectangle. If you're interested in this chart that will influence individuals, groups, nations and the world, read on.
Of course Jupiter will expand the Pluto in Sag energies we've been living within since 1995. Sag is the sign of the higher mind, religion, travel, higher education, and visions of the future. This sign, being Mutable Fire, likes to spread ideas far and wide, sometimes without caring about consequences for expressing radical views that may not be so welcome to more conservative, cautious signs. This sign helps us contact our enthusiasm for life's adventures, but this expansive energy must be managed carefully lest it turn to dogmatism, contrary attitudes, excesses, and belief systems that stifle rather than liberate, such as zealous fundamentalism in different life areas.
Sag is a sign that gets inflated easily due to its naturally expansive quality, thus this sign can exaggerate, or ride off in ten directions at once without caring where any of them go. This is an educated sign, but again, there are levels of education, and Sag can equate the slimmest of knowledge to the most profound. Because this conjunction also involves Mercury and the Sun, expect long term fusions and giant leaps in consciousness in areas ruled by Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Sag, and Pisces driven by the Transpersonal Transformative energies of the Cosmic Pillar of Fire, Pluto.
We should expect to see more religious extremism, as well as expanded seeds of galactic consciousness. We've been dealing with out-of-control belief systems running rampant in our world the past 12 years, thanks to Pluto in Sag. This conjunction will continue this trend even as these rampant Fire forces seek to exert more control over the governments of our world due to the impending entry of Jupiter and Pluto into Capricorn. Once Pluto gets into Capricorn, expect purifications and transformations in the official systems everywhere.
So this conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto in late Sag should bring radical political and legal upheavals and transformations, as well as major technological progress as a result of Mercury and the Sun sextile Neptune in Aquarius along with Mars and Venus trine Uranus releasing energies through the Sun-Mercury squares to Uranus. The upheavals will most affect nations with planets in Mutable signs.
The tredecile of the conjunction to Saturn will provide us all some unique circumstances that fit our gifts and qualities, as well as gifts and qualities that fit our circumstances. This is an interactive aspect in the quintile series, and will quicken our efforts to achieve an organized way of approaching the higher possibilities of this conjunction. Many will reach out to embrace distant ideals and communities so they can live more fully whatever new openings happened between 2005-2006.
The chart shows a Locomotive Jones pattern, with the empty third between Uranus in Pisces and Mars RX in Cancer. This shows an imbalanced situation that is powerful in its intentions, driving to fill the void. The Grand Water Trine made by Venus in early Scorpio to these two planets will harmonize areas ruled by Venus and Mars in our charts for a long time to come within the context of the Jupiter-Pluto long cycle.
It also harmonizes wherever Aries, Taurus, Libra, and Scorpio fall in the conjunction charts. This will be different based in what time zone you're in. To illustrate, PST and MST have Pisces on the Asc, while NYC and Washington DC both have Taurus rising. London, Amsterdam, and Israel have Leo rising, Moscow and India have Virgo rising, Western Australia has Scorpio rising, and Melbourne has the conjunction exactly rising in late Sag. That would seem to make for a coming wild ride for those of you in eastern Australia!
The Sun shows the Light and integration factor in this larger 12 year ending and beginning. It is at 20 Sag, a degree of needing to anticipate future life phases and sacrifice some comforts to ensure that we are taken care of down the road. We are told to embrace the value of anticipating future turns of fortune and events and be thorough in what we do.
In his "Astrological Mandala," Rudhyar says the keynote is "The foresighted use of natural resources to supply future human needs" where we must use ingenuity and a knowledge of cycles to anticipate what's coming to assure our supply of whatever we will need. The biseptile of the Sun to Saturn in Virgo would seem to show as a major fork in the road of all Virgo related areas, which of course includes agricultural and public health issues and problems.
Dr. Jones says this degree is about organizing natural processes for the benefit of the community, where we show individual competency and are recognized for our special abilities and contributions. This is a degree of "organized effort" so we don't waste our time and energy. He says the keyword is "PROCUREMENT" and "... an exceptional capacity for overcoming obstacles...."
The Moon is at 13 Capricorn, a degree challenging self-transcendence through overcoming lesser qualities of being. The Moon is very important to all these kinds of charts, since it is the "form builder" for whatever promise is shown by the conjunction. We are told this degree is one of "Firm establishment upon immemorial principles," Consciousness of absolute unity," and "Depth of Soul penetration."
Dr. Jones states it's a degree of "inner strength" through our ties with "the creative power of the universe itself," where we must dedicate our talents and demonstrate our "ultimate independence" of our life circumstances. It's formula is said to be Sustaining, Critical, Efficient, Specializing, Spiritual, and Receptive. He goes further:
Here is ideality brought to the point of miracle. The keyword is MAGIC. When positive, the degree is extraordinary skill in enlisting every resource of the world for the exaltation of self and the consummation of its ambitions....
The Moon is part of a Mystic Rectangle formed with Mars at 8 Cancer, Saturn at 9 Virgo, and Uranus at 15 Pisces. The two oppositions will no doubt crank things up tremendously, so it's very good that we have a Moon trine Saturn and Mars trine Uranus along with Mars sextile Saturn and Moon sextile Uranus to provide us many opportunities for productivity and understanding while we're dealing with the amped-up Fire of this conjunction in late Sag septile Neptune. Including Venus in the mix, we have 5 points of a Grand Sextile across the Earth and Water elements, with the void in Taurus.
Summing it up, expect massive personal transformations driven by the larger tide of expanding global transformation. Jupiter joins the Grand Irrationality, expanding those weird energies into a new level of manifestation. The planets in Earth and Water will help us stay grounded and practical if we halfway try, and show lots of promise in helping us target unhelpful emotions and grow into a new maturity.
Of course Mars RX will undo, or rework many ways we do what we do. It could show as lots of passive-aggressive tempermentalism, or a revisiting of old hurts, quarrels, or clashes from prior points in history. It can bring us all a new sensitivity to others' needs and feelings, and could actually help us break down and through old emotional barriers to find a transcendent way to do our Being. Mars in Cancer RX certainly could show as a "reversal of supply," so plan for the future however that applies to you. The coming 12 years will truly bring us all a "back to the future" feeling.
Part 3 we'll discuss previous Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions at the Galactic Center, when they happened, and some things to keep in mind about this event. Part 4 will discuss the impact on each individual sign.

Hi all, I guess for nearly aquarius or pisces rising people, as for myself, expect within this period major transformations, that were occuring during last months, expanding thanks to Jupiter this month, in areas concerning the career or future ideals and hopes (10th or 11th houses). Expect oportunities and a sense of easiness coming around thanks to Jupiter.
All late Sags, late Gems, late Virgos, or late Pisces, or with any planets placed here, should get really a boost in their transormation (Pluto), maybe through some kind of benevolent and easy opportunity presenting itself (Jupiter).

Dear Robert
Yesterday it came to me, Efficiency,Surrender,Gratitude. I accepted this but inside i could feel rebellion. Natal Mars on my ascendant line likes to manifest itself physically. All that Saggitarian enthusiasm.broadness and restlesness enervated my nervous system.I knocked down when the Moon entered Capricorn, I knew i needed grounding. There was a Mars in Cancer opposition. It sort of bounced all the energies around again and a realisation that i had not released enough through Mars in Cancer travelling through my Solar 12th,natal 2nd and with Venus travelling through my 6th house and Saturn opposing Uranus Pisces and some sort of reaction to Virgo/Pisces eclipse pattern , It affected me in my digestive system(over analysing). So i would say until i release the blocks that affect my self worth and early childhood nurturing i will continue to aggravate my digestive system(mentally, spiritually and emotionally.) Am i worthy to do what i do. will i allow self judjement to crush it all
Wednesday... Gave a class to 29 people today in a large room. You could FEEL IT.. IT has shifted and all i saw to give at the finish was saphire blue and we were all calmed by it. P.S GOOD number that 29
May the universe bless you once again Robert for your brilliance and accuracy Aum Shanti Felita

Dear Robert,
I have had no major breakthroughs due to Jup con Pluto in Sag. This is happening in my 3rd house trining my Sun in the 11th, but since last week I had been apply in earnest, the Attitude of Gratitude.
One of the things I am most grateful for is our friendship.
Peace,
Helen

Hi Popplagid - Remember Pluto is a long term influence, and may not show up immediately in dramatic fashion. More like seeds that sprout into giant trees over time. Jupiter also teaches, protects, expands, and liberates, or creates wreckage through misplaced optimism, excesses, or recklessness. For some, the square is a beneficial turning point. For others, it's "Thelma and Louise going over the edge" time. I have found that benefits we capture is more aligned with Venus, Sun, or Saturn transits and progressions.
Hi Felita - Mars in the Solar 12th is giving you one last look back to clean up whatever parts of the "movie of your life" infuse your Light, Life, Integrity, and Illumination. You have offered some deep insights into how the Moon/digestion relates to self worth and early childhood nurturing. Glad you're aware of the subtle energy shifts, since we tend to ignore the subtle and focus on the gross sensations, which of course will not be there once we drop the body, leaving us with nothing but the ability to sense the subtle. Thanks for the blessing.
Hi poetryman69 - Good imagery. While I'm often surrendering to God as fast as I can, there are also the words of our modern bard, "Cause we made a promise we swore we'd always remember, No retreat, baby, no surrender, Blood brothers in the stormy night With a vow to defend, No retreat, baby, no surrender..." God, God, God and only God. And gratitude has been and will continue to bring us blessings beyond what we previously imagined, thanks to Neptune. The coming Mercury RX should be most excellent!
Hi Helen - The conjunctions of the outer planets often do not bring dramatic results, since they are the end and beginning of a long wave process. Conjunctions are fusions, not turning points per se. Those are usually found at the squares and oppositions to the conjunction points. Dramatic breakthroughs are more a Mars manifestation. And of course, friendship is one of the highest compliments anyone could pay another. True friends, whether near or far, are truly a part of our Sangha.

Hi Robert! how would this Pluto and Jupiter placement affect someone who has Pluto 27 degrees in Scorpio 12th house and 9 degrees in Jupiter in the same sign of Scorpio? (sun sign Capricorn 12,31,1993) Radical indeed!

Robert,
If/when you get a chance, I'd really be grateful if you'd recommend a book or two that related astrology to the chakras. I'm wondering about the relationship between the conjunction between Jupiter and Pluto at the Galactic Centre and the heart chakra...though maybe that's pretty obvious. Actually, anything relating astrology to the body would be of great interest!

Robert, lately there is a growing phenomena here, in our country of Portugal, that I would like to ask your opinion and comment on.
Its the Law of Atraction teachings and its mostly well-known book, the Secret, which is even the number one top book here in Portugal. I have been reading a lot of material related to this as well, mostly that which makes more sense and is more resonant with my soul.
How do you comment on this law?
Certainly the Law is true, and happens all the time, and maybe we are still grasping its workings and understanding it. Astrology, I guess, is well linked into this as well, as energies were set and are being set up at the present moment, from which humanity and people respond to, using their creative powers and free will.
But certainly there could be the notion of fate, as one, for example cannot fight against certain challenges that Saturn or Pluto sets us, since its maybe our highest part of us, our subconscious or whatever, that is creating those challenges and events.

Hi Robert and everyone,
What 'wild ride' can I expect? Dianne here from OZ, Melbourne Victoria. I have had enough for now, the conjuction fell in my 10th, I swear I can feel it moving towards the 11th and Saturn, got dumped on 'on mass', the family came at me from all directions 'for Christmas'(same old stuff really), but the good news is I didn't over react, given the way "wounded bulls" can react, I did very well, a bit like Neo in The Matrix..nah not quite there yet.
You mentioned a Grand Sextile, with a void in Taurus, I am a Taurus 24 01(part of a fixed cross), but I have a Grand Sextile involving Merc 4 Taurus, Pluto Virgo 1, Saturn 6,Asc Pisces 5, Venus Cancer 5. Nept Scorp 5...also mystic retangle,I wish this was as exciting as it suggests, isn't really, people have called my chart 'a plate of spagetti' sometimes I think I suffer from 'locked in syndrome'. Will this give me a 'kick start' I wonder, or am I in danger of getting 'stuck further in the mud' so to speak...a well placed 'fire cracker' could work wonders.
Have loved the articles. Interestingly, we have had a change of government here, finally after 11 years...we have let go of an 'egocentic' paternalist leader, and now have one who has signed the Kyoto protocol, we even have woman in the number two spot.I am watching what is happening in the States with growing excitement.
Bring on 2008!
Bye Dianne

Hi Colleen - Somewhat favorable to Pluto, in septile to Jupiter, so you may want to go back and re-read what I've written about the septile series aspects. Of more importance will be Jupiter septile, sextile, and quintile to Jupiter in 2008, with septiles to Pluto around 17-19 Capricorn. Also Uranus has been tredecile Pluto, and will trine it for most of 2008. Watch the points in early Jan and late Feb when Mars quincunxes Pluto, and make adjustments accordingly. Jupiter and Pluto in Scorpio will move into a different manifestation by late Feb thanks to Mercury.
Hi Dianne - More than I can answer in this comment stream. Sorry that you got dumped on, but holidays are always times of strange behavior and some amount of sadness for all that isn't, all that has been, and all that never will be. It's not so much that Grand Sextiles are dramatically good, but they are very productive. Doubt you will get stuck in the mud one second longer than your Higher Self recognizes. Congrats on your change of government. We ALL need some progressive thinking adults to start steering the ship away from the melting icebergs! Here in America, it's still a theater of the absurd, with lots of posturing and bloviating but few ideas of substance that could be actualized without the corrupt political class turning perfectly good efforts into mud slinging negativity. It'll probably take a genuine widespread disaster for us to wake up, but by then it's a "crisis management" situation where the tail is wagging the dog with incompetent inmates in charge of the asylum. Our political system is rigged so that anyone with real leadership potential would be sabotaged before they could win even one primary. The fix is in, but blessedly this too will change.Hi Alexandra - Well, I may just have to do an article, since what's out there is a lot of speculation with little substance. Jupiter has correspondences to the Solar Plexus chakra. Remember the GC has nothing to do with our personal existence. It is like the tides of the ocean itself have nothing to do with how the fish feels about or experiences them. They are a force majure beyond whatever the fish can comprehend. We can respond to the GC energies only to the extent we consciously manifest "galactic energy," which is no one I know. Even the Silver Surfer is merely the herald for such things! ;-) For medical astrology, check out Max Heindel's "Astrodiagnosis." Of course there are other venerable sources.
Hi Popplagid - Regarding "The Secret," I wrote a somewhat lengthy response a while ago. I probably should make it an article unto itself:
Posted by: Robert | December 12, 2007 at 04:13 PM
That is certainly a remark restoring the truth, Robert.
I feel that Astrology is a metaphor, a tool and a art, pointing us to our Dharma, represented by the patterns on our charts and transiting trends.
In this lentghy Pluto period I am having, your comment resonates a lot with my situation, since several times I am attempting to navigate against the stream with my fury sagittarian optimism, and then Pluto tells me no (representing my most honest inner desires).
How long does a seed for Pluto to grow into that giant oak tree?
Pluto travels so slowly!
My Pluto was 8th house at time of my birth, then got passing last year over my sun, neptune and mercury in tenth and eleventh houses. I am looking forward to 2021 when Pluto will square (now is making a trine) to my natal Pluto, therefore squaring from a angular house to another angular house. That time Neptune will make also a square my natal Neptune and Saturn and Jupiter will get again to my first natal house. Maybe it will be a very setting and transforming time for our 1980s generation.
Until then, I hope to enjoy my neptunian ride over my ascendent and first house next few years.
Posted by: Popplagid | December 13, 2007 at 02:36 AM
Hi Popplagid - Pluto in the 8th can bring us our ultimate heart's desire, but also requires that we be very precise in articulating what we want, or the law of unintended consequences pops up with extra baggage we never wanted but failed to make clear to Spirit. Neptune on your Asc should be making your experience very "floaty," but also helps you tune directly to the collective consciousness and unconscious, so you can polish your angelic Aquarian intuition, connectedness, and compassion. The recent Jupiter passage over your Sag stellium awakened Plutonic seeds that will grow dramatically these next 12 years and show you a long wave transformational pulse defining in clear order what was before and what was after this passage.

Hi Robert,
May I jump into this discussion on The Secret? I had been in an Unity Church for many years before I understood the Law of Attraction. It took The Secret for me to truly understand this law.
What was missing before is I never understood how much my feelings and emotions played into the equation. It is not enough to intellectually focus on what you want. Your emotions is this wonderful guide that lets you know that you are on the right track. It took the Secret to teach me this.
Also another lesson I learned from the Secret was having the Attitude of Gratitude. (Which I didn't have before.) Everyday as I go through my day, I say thank you. This could even be as mundane as giving thanks for paper towels or my pets. And feeling that I have enough, right now. I can't tell you the many times I said, I couldn't afford something. Guess what? The universe said your wish is my command and I couldn't.
Is the Secret new? Of course not.
Do I believe in the Secret? Of course, I do.
Peace,
Helen
P.S. Is this related to MarsRX in my 9th or Pluto/Jup in my 3rd? Can't make up my mind.
P.S.S. The Secret actually brought me to this website as futher proof I'm on the right road i.e. writing.
Posted by: Helen | December 13, 2007 at 08:31 AM
:)
Hi Helen,
I have also a firm belief in the Law of Atraction. Our emotions work as signposts indicating if what we think, say or choose is in resonance with our inner nature or not.
Or as if Esther and Jerry Hicks would have put it, our emotions tell us if our choices are or not in accordance with our desired state of Well-Being.
Robert, definitely, Pluto is an awakener of seeds. I can look two years to the past and much clealy see that. I would like to see Neptune bringing up my idealistic and floaty way, from my ideas (11th house) and spirituality (12th house) into my general life (fist house). At least I seek that as I had Neptune very closely conjunting the Sun at birth.
I guess we will all see these seeds really growing next few years, as many planets such as Saturn and Uranus will square Pluto. Eventually a few years from now, Saturn will come to the GC and then Jupiter, 12 years later again, as you stated. I view Saturn as grounding those energies, and Jupiter has an harbinger of new oportunities and horizons, such as it is now. Uranus will probably be the most dramatic one, around 2010. Actually all of this is funny since my natal Sun and Mercury are very near the GC :-)

Hi Robert!
I'm having this Pluto/Jupiter conjunction to my Moon, in the 6th house. And then I've had Mars over my ascendant at 10 of Cancer and then back again retrograde. Some very bad things happened at work, my first ever job as an employee at the UK, in less than a month I found out a lot of wrong things going on, really nasty ones, for which I couldn't keep my mouth shut and had to report to management, they are investigating it, there was a lot of abuse. The whole atmosphere is very tense. I'm really disheartened that I had to do the dirty job, which others didn't want to, and I'm sad because I know that the person who brings up what's rotten at the workplace is normally the one who'll end up being dismissed. A lot of intrigue, it is unbelievable. All in all, I already know that I'll be punished for being too honest, for having integrity, for not compromising my principles. Saturn was exactly over my Pluto when I got this job, and then with this going on it is almost square my Sun.
With Mars going back over my ascendant I felt an amazing strength, it was like I've never had so much stamina in my life, but there was also a lot of misplaced anger from my end, a lot of energy.
Is there ever a reward for people who are not corrupt in this world? I'm still wondering why I'm having to go through this, it took me a year to get a job in the area I wanted, a lot of struggle just to realise in what sort of mess I had put myself into...
I really wonder if I'm gonna have to endure injustice, just as it happens every time Mars goes retrograde...
Posted by: Alix | December 14, 2007 at 08:26 AM
Alix, with no judgment, try not to blame astrology for our outer events. In fact, energies are there but we are the ultimate cause those. We are the creators of our experiences and we are its responsibles.
So, shall we choose the good thoughts, the good events, the good feelings and good decisions.
Pluto transiting over the sixth redefines a lot our working arena, our sense of sevring others. Look clearly to possible power strugles, power issues with colleagues and superiors, how we structure our daily life, routine and tasks, and habits.
See your current experience from the positive side, with how can you restructure your life and decisions with it, how does your approach to the job situation in the world changes...
Thats what Pluto is teaching you about.
Pluto will bring you out of you, seeds of some new future foundations over your emotions (Moon) and how you relate emotionally to others. Maybe that will be the trick for a better living on whatever job situation you choose.
Be the change you feel you want to be in the world.

Glad you mention Jerry and Ester Hicks. I refer to the Secret as the Law of Attraction 101. I refer to Jerry and Ester Hick's work, Ask and It is Given as Law of Attraction, Graduate School. I refer to Aquarius Papers as the Master Class for Astrology!

Hi Robert...interesting what you said about eastern Australia as there have been wild hailstorms, flashflooding and general criminal weirdness and lots associated with abuse of children in our society...sickening...and it seems to be getting worse....the only beneficial change of late has been our new prime minister Kevin Rudd who ratified Kyoto during his first week in leadership...a Libran!!and he is going to say SORRY to the Aboriginals who were treated with such disrepect for so long...(and still are i might add)...but things have improved....i live in hope....love and light xx

On the 11,12th I found myself sleepless, reliving, experiencing great unbounded bouts of fear, filled with fears of loss similar to what i had experienced beginning in 1996. In my chart the 4 planets, the conjunction of pluto, jupiter, mercury, sun take place in the 9th ready to move to the 10th and will oppose my natal gemini conjunction jupiter/sun in the 2nd conjunct mercury, mars in the 3rd third.
I travel to my ex-pat home around this time after one yr of caring for family. It will complete a cycle started in 2001. No rest for the wicked? lol

Posted by: victoria | December 15, 2007 at 04:43 PM
Hi Helen - The mention of Jerry and Ester Hicks came from Popplagid. Definitely our feelings and expectations and the strength of our intention determine the efficacy of the quality of what does or does not show up. The only caveat is that in the past I found many times my desire mind took my affirmations into a ditch, and I received what I asked for but with far more difficulty than enjoyment. That's why the primary thing is to ask oneself if receiving the object of one's intention is truly a good thing and not just assume it is. It helps to open to glimpsing possible consequences that we may not be considering. It doesn't mean they will be bad, but it's always good to open to possibles we haven't thought of before. As for your question, perhaps both.
Hi Popplagid - The Law of Magnetic Attraction is the "natural Law" connected to the 2nd Ray of Love-Wisdom. While what we truly love is an aspect of our deeper and Higher Self, not all feelings are accurate in showing us what is true. In fact, the Astral mechanism is as apt to run us into a proverbial ditch as bring us anything healthy. I agree that as we become more aware they can offer clues about whether we should or should not be thinking or wanting something, but that's ultimately more our feelings recognizing our Intuition. Feelings are astral, therefore unreliable because of duality. Intuition is always accurate, which is not the same as a hunch or a "psychic" hit. These are only as accurate as our Intuition is developed. Our conscience can serve us, but only to the extent we can recognize it. The squares from Saturn and Uranus will definitely put the brakes on some seeds while releasing others to the four winds!
Hi Alix - Welcome to the purification and transformation of your Moon. This actually completes one long term process and begins another, though this time you should be experiencing your ability to experience a whole lot deeper than ever before. Even if this is a momentary stopping point work-wise, don't sweat it. Either they appreciate you and your skills or they don't. Either you've finished your purpose there or you haven't. Sorry you had to do a difficult thing, but if your honor and integrity dictated it then it's part of revealing your Self to yourself. Please don't affirm you will be punished. Affirm that this is the end (Mars RX in 12th) of an old karma, and that you'll be moving forward doing exactly what you should be doing by late January. The reward for our integrity is that we can look in the mirror with no regrets, and have not set karmas into motion forcing us to deal with a lack of integrity. Release your anger and fear, and affirm with confidence that you have done exactly what you needed to do, and that there will be the perfect results for your integrity at the perfect time that will keep you in this job if it's perfect for you, or you will land another quickly that is equally perfect for you.
Hi giverny - Sorry to hear that the non-leadership of Australia has chosen to parallel our own dysfunctional country. The quantity and quality of child abuse globally is truly sickening. I believe the level of global dysfunction is the direct result of the modern materialistic mindset that knows the cost of everything but seems not to know the value of anything. Eventually we'll collectively remember and be restored to sanity, but for now it seems that we need to prepare for radical chaos across quite a few vectors as a prelude to that new life order.
Hi Victoria - Sorry you're feeling fear, but what a great opportunity to break its lurking grip! The 9th house stellium is preparing you for greater things - the opposition is bringing things to surface, and offers awarenesses beyond what you've been considering up to now. As for Mexico, monitor the Mars and Saturn transits relative to your chart, and when in doubt take proactive measures to put yourself in favorable environments. Learn to spot subtle hints and tendencies, and be willing to move within the larger flow of your evolution into freedom, safety, love, peace, abundance, health, and community. Adaptability is a virtue in an age in transition.
Posted by: Robert | December 17, 2007 at 05:43 AM
Hi Robert, you have broght a truly important remark I think.
Yes, I also came to see that Intuition is always higher in a way than our emotions. As a Yoga teacher once told me, use the asanas to calm and balance your body, breathing to balance your energetic body, mantras and meditation to calm down your emotions and mind, and bring in your intuition. In fact, I forget what method did truly calm down the emotional realm, besides meditation.
I envision we may one day perfect ourselves wishing solely what we see to be good for us and others, using our Intuition. As from Conversation with God put it, if having doubts always ask "what would love choose now, what would serve better Life, of Love"
Posted by: Popplagid | December 17, 2007 at 04:39 PM
Popplagid Read your post.Hope this may clarify some of it. As I understnd and have practised. The Asanas balance the meridians and activate glandular centres, working through the physical body, they can release stagnant emotions locked in muscles. Strong Asanas without the follow through of Pranayama afterwards or breath intergration within the movements of the Asanas can stir the bodies emotional blocks and create disturbance to the nervous system. Within the physical framework of the body panayama is the soother of emotional reactions. Prana is the embodiment of the upper triad of chakras. Apana is the lower triad. Ha- Tha yoga's Aim is to unify the two energies of the Ha(left) and Tha(right)and emerge them into the susumna in the centre of the spine And the merging of prana and apana at the heart centre. "Yoga has many tools for releasing obstacles to clarity"
I agree "all we need is love.............Love is all we need" Higher love radiates from the upper triads and is realised at the heart centre. Moon musings...
Consecrating a Holy vessel for my eternal consciousness.
A renewed body and a refreshed mind.
Be thankful. Blessings unto you and yours.
Of Angel hugs and of love and laughter
and of happily ever after.
Of kind words and healing balms.
Of buzzing bees in the tall, green grasses.

Hi again Robert, it's Stevo.
It was very necessary that I re-read what you've written about the moon and it's Sabian representation. I'm totally drawn to this. 2 questions: 1)Where was the moon at the "previous" conjunction(Dec.'94??)? and 2)Do the stabilizing aspects that Saturn in Virgo makes to the moon/mars opposition imply "more" (in reference to the trine)of the Moon in Cap, and "less" (in reference to the sextile)of Mars in Can?

Hi Victoria - You're most welcome. Aum and blessings in this holiday season.
Hi Stevo - On Dec 2, 1994, the conjunction fell sometime between 12:01 am and 12:30 am MST. The problem was that at 12:01 the Moon was at the final minutes of Scorpio, and slipped into Sag 12:13 am. So as strange as it sounds, I don't know where the Moon was, though I'd think given subsequent events it was at 1 Sag. As for your second question, don't think "more" and "less." Think all energies synthesized. A trine can be ease of something funky. A sextile can mean a productive hardship, depending on how the planets are being responded to. Saturn will exert more of an influence on the Moon through dispositorship. But Mars influences Venus the same way, and Venus harmonizes Moon, Mars, and Saturn.

Robert: THAT'S IT!!! THAT'S IT!!!! Moon would've been on the Scorp/Sag cusp. That's what I was looking for!!!! That's how the previous junction has played out for me. 5th house. All kinds of stuff has happened for me here over the last 12+ years. I guess the conjunction itself would've been near my Scorp Neptune (25+)and I also had a lot of progressed planet activity at that time. Now I understand "WHY" Saturn in Leo was so hard on me. I just Mars'd on through. I didn't get Pluto. I didn't get Jupiter for that matter. And Saturn itself? Was just my car that I routinely cussed (purchase date was actually Aries 2001). LOL!!!!!!
But really, this is wonderful knowledge. It's like all the changes and hardships over that span of time have now explained why now, I'm being thrown into the fire! Sure, Sagittarius. But Aries and Leo too!! I met my wife in '93. I ended up loving dogs because of her. We would later marry when Pluto conjuncted my Venus in Sag. I left my native home-for good (4th house Scorp). Musically, I saw lots of changes. But interestingly enough. I've come full circle. CAPRICORN!!! Yeah baby! I know what this is all about.
Thanks Robert! Many, many thanks...

Lost in the clouds with Jupiter transcendent
Lost in the clouds with Mars ascendant.
Love Luck and the music of the Spheres.
Azure in the arms of Cerulean
Cast adrift in the Indigo isles
May Angel love and Moon glow light your path.
