Having great feedback on attaining 1,000,000 visitors in 1100 days, a short history of the Aquarius Papers may be of interest. So, once upon a time in a land far, far, away.... I found my way to The Blog. Blogging is different than a web site, which I did for years with mixed success. When I started "The Aquarius Papers - Astrology for All" at Salon.com, it was an experiment to see how many people are into astrology on the web. Willing to try something different involving multiple realms, I added a section called "The Outer Edge" where I posted metaphysical articles and investigative reports on important socio-economic, environmental, and political urgencies confronting our nation and world.

The End of the Age - Time and Evolution

This long post was inspired by a comment about contradictions and speculations regarding 2012, the Mayan calendar, the end of our current Age, the beginning of the New Age, and the challenges of finding our way to accurate information about the meaning of all this. If we would cut through the glamor, illusion, and Maya surrounding our current transitional period, then it's good to examine the nature of time, perception, and how our minds work. A Million Visitors in 3 Years Reading 2.8 Million Pages

Aquarius Papers just hit a milestone. Though I launched the site at Salon.com April 2004, I only started keeping track of visitors late Feb 2005. Sometime last hour the 1 millionth person came to the site. This has surpassed anything I could have imagined 36 months ago. It would seem that our community is fairly large, and grows larger every month. Thanks for being a part of this social experiment!

Briefly, when Saturn conjuncts Pluto it restructures our Divine Power of Eternal Transformation, and marks the end and beginning of a major spiritual journey of self purification. Community Building Is the Past, Present, and Future Sanctuary of Humanity

"We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." Dr. Ben Franklin said this immortal phrase at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and it is as true today as it was then. We are all interdependent in both large and small ways, more than we suspect. Alone, we can barely keep up with the demands of living in the 21st century, and usually feel isolated from others and ourselves. With friends, in community, we are happier and don't feel so overwhelmed with all there is to deal with. We find others who share our experience, and those with whom we can share a mutual wisdom, each contributing to a greater understanding for both.

Long Term Feb 2008 Virgo-Pisces Lunar Eclipse Effects Pt. 2 - Scientific and Spiritual Approaches

Today we continue our examination of what the Virgo-Pisces total Lunar Eclipse holds for our world. As it builds on themes introduced in Part 1, you may want to re-read that before picking this one up, since I discuss the See Saw effect and some other critical elements of the Eclipse chart, as well as different rising signs around the world at the Eclipse. Overall, a very productive eclipse that will liberate everyone in some way between now and August, as well as for years to come!

Long Range Astrology - The February 2008 Lunar Eclipse in Virgo-Pisces and What It Means

Soon we'll have the first Lunar Eclipse of 2008 at 2 degrees of Virgo-Pisces. The midpoint of this total eclipse will occur on Feb 20 at 10:26 pm EST, Feb 21 for Greenland and points east. This is very close to the last Lunar Eclipse of August 2007 at 5 Virgo-Pisces, so expect echoes. Since Full Moons always fulfill the energies of the previous New Moon, this Eclipse will sprout the seeds of the Feb 2008 Solar Eclipse. Both eclipses are shutting some old ways of life down forever (as all eclipses do), leaving us space to embrace the new already waiting for us exactly mirroring what we've prepared for up to now. These will shine a light on closures, courage, and transmutation of energies into personality strengths in our process of going through our "liberating ordeals" that are protective mechanisms ultimately restructuring our lives, and what work we consider important.

2008 Virgo-Pisces Lunar Eclipse Article Coming Later Today

Just to let you know, I'm going to post on the February 2008 Lunar Eclipse later today. It is important in that the Moon is on the exact degree that Saturn will go stationary direct in May, which ties this eclipse to that event, sure to be major heavy. See you later!
