Spiritual Astrology in March-April 2008 Pt. 5 - Pluto in Capricorn Grounding Fire in the Winter of the 21st Century

The first 25 years of this century, aka the "Winter" of the 21st century, is dominated by Pluto in Sagittarius and Capricorn. The midpoint of this larger season is 2012, after which we will approach the 25 years of Spring beginning with Pluto's entry into Aquarius in 2025. Through 2013 we have some very dynamic aspects going on between the Invisible Triad and Saturn, the keeper of time and sculptor of forms.

This Winter has already been dominated by many oppositions, with many more to come. Saturn anchors in form whatever Spiritual awakenings are symbolized by Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Saturn was opposed Neptune 2005-2007, and we now approach a Saturn opposition Uranus.

This polarization between Saturn and Uranus will build for the next three years, with the back end of the period dominated by Saturn in Libra opposition Uranus in Aries. You should also check out parts 2 and 3 of that series to find out more about the long term squares and oppositions that indicate massive destabilization in our world and a radical turning point for humanity and our Earth between now and 2013.

As noted earlier in Pt. 3 of this series, from mid-May through early August 2007 Uranus offered us a "walk with a Higher Wisdom" while giving us opportunities to show our world what we are able and ready to do. This "higher wisdom" is now coming forth stronger than ever due to Uranus' current position, and indicates that we will all find what nourishes us as we close an old cycle of manifesting our individuality or unique genius.

Soon we will find that which nourishes us as we complete an old phase of self-expression, to be followed by new discoveries of how to touch and be touched in ways that yield hope. This will naturally lead us to find ways to anchor our new life order through adopting new values and a higher standard.

Neptune continues to bring us new emotional, social, and cultural connectedness, helping us sense how to manage these energies with intention and perspective. We have been building a vehicle that can demonstrate spiritual effectiveness in a balanced way, and can now enter a deeper vaster wisdom born of our experience, self discipline, and genuine dispassion.

When Pluto is in late Sag from mid-June through late November 2008, it will again be in a zone squaring the late 2006 and the 2007 Solar Eclipse points. This will be a final activation shutting down old ways opening new futures, since it energizes similar degree sectors of Virgo and Pisces accented the past year. Pluto's direct effect unlocking Eclipse transformational pulses will certainly be strong for at least another year. This reinforces the lessons unleashed in 2006-2007, with future effects triggered by planetary transits through Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, and Gemini through July 2010.

This period features Saturn in a very close trine with Pluto. This is anchoring the renewed Earth energies in practical, simple, and very stable forms that will blossom when Jupiter trines Saturn the entire last half of 2008. January was especially important in setting future patterns, since Jupiter's recent trine to Saturn from early Capricorn to early Virgo anticipated what Pluto will bring forth over the next few years.

This is be cemented in a big way in late April and May when Saturn goes stationary direct on a degree of "liberating ordeals," resuming its journey deeper into Virgo by Summer where Jupiter makes a tight trine. This should prove very favorable in material ways wherever the trine falls in our maps, relating the areas of Taurus, Virgo, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. This Summer's Earth trine between these two powerhouses will stabilize half our reality, so make progress using practicality, attention to detail, willingness to work, and work hard, persevering in making something large from something small.

These trines are the natural developments stabilizing the understanding, forms, and circumstances connected to whatever we are experiencing related to Pluto in Sagittarius conjunct the Galactic Center which in Capricorn moves our Fiery Spirit Dharma awakened in Sag into the practical forms of Capricorn. Pluto will retrograde back into Sagittarius and re-activate those long term lessons, energies, challenges, and awakenings of the Unknown between mid-June and late November.

So consider this a dress rehearsal for what's to come when Pluto enters Capricorn where it will stay until November 2024, after which it moves into Aquarius for its stay there through January 2044. Given that 2025 moves us into the "Spring" of the 21st century, it seems that Pluto in Capricorn will revolutionize and purify the order of things through radical transformations that will awaken seeds of the next Era.

What comes forth in practical forms is the grounded expression of whatever was promised and set into motion by the Grand Fire Trines of 2007. This was anchored by Saturn in Leo trine Pluto in Sag, and is now in a phase of stabilization and anchoring in forms of personal power.

Though past, these set major patterns into play that will be triggered from time to time well into the future, much as the multiple Fire Trines of the Harmonic Convergence of August 1987 (echoed in August 1988) set things into motion for years afterwards.

What did one simple holy man marching to the sea to get some salt think that he could accomplish for his people? Hi dcu - This of course was inevitable, given the genocide going on in Tibet and the government's attempt to whitewash their evil actions. Expect more of this up to the Olympics. The call for independent investigators to examine the genocide is an extraordinary opportunity for a legit outside investigation of an essentially closed system. Authoritarians ALWAYS fall.

Hi Barb - What you're asking for is too important and vast a subject for a comment stream. Remember that free will is everything in a relationship, and it takes both unreservedly committing every day to insuring it lasts as long as possible.There can be no hidden harmful agendas and each must rise to the occasion of living a greater love. Spontaneous affection and healthy respect to and from each are crucial ingredients. 3 1/2 years is a crisis of change, a turning point. You've had Saturn in your Solar 7th house of relationships since Summer 2006, so you've been learning maturity and not to control or be controlled. Your husband has been grappling with self-image issues, learning to take responsibility with more grace and less criticisms or needless worry, and starts a new 2 year cycle of activity in mid-April.
