Spiritual Astrology in May-June 2008 Pt. 2 - Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto All Retrograding At Thresholds of New Spiritual Frontiers
by Robert Wilkinson
In the early months of the year the outer planets enter unknown zones of Spiritual futures indicated by degree spans not experienced in close to a century or more. This three-fold series of Higher Pulses each and together give us glimpses of phases of experience we've never known before. In Spring they each go retrograde at various points in time. By mid-Summer, they are all retrograde, bringing newer, deeper insights and connectedness with the Divine Process.
When the outer Triad are retrograde, it's a time when we can find our Higher Creativity, Connectedness, and recognition of the Seeds of the Future. We can learn how to purify an aspect of self to be of better service to ourselves and others, find others with whom we feel connected in a higher or deeper sense, and demonstrate our creativity or special qualities to generate some collective pulse.
When retrograde, we are given a chance to look back, receive inspiration and Divine idealism, and prepare for future new developments as each goes direct in motion again. Over a span of weeks each Autumn, they go direct in motion again, retracing the ground for the third time finishing up that particular span of experience even as they gather momentum to enter newer Unknown Zones.
When Uranus and Neptune were retrograde from June to October 2007, it was a time to review the paths and challenges from Spirit that brought us to the threshold of new beginnings. We could take a new look at our ideals, the way we're relating to others and everything that is, consciously and unconsciously, and how we were willing to embrace our uniqueness or genius.
By November 2007 they were both in forward motion, retracing degree spans we were already familiar with, giving us a chance to demonstrate those spiritual lessons and skills in ways that carry us into the future. By April they completed retracing those earlier spans, and entered degree spans not known in our memory, except for Uranus.
In May and June Uranus and Neptune both go stationary retrograde, marking new thresholds of Spiritual lessons we'll be reflecting on and showing Spiritual steps to be re-traced through November 2008. Neptune is the first to go retrograde, reaching its station at 25 Aquarius on May 26 at 9:15 am PDT, the same day Mercury goes retrograde just minutes before. Uranus will hit its retrograde station on June 26, 5:01 pm PDT at 23 Pisces.
I'll compose more about these stationary points when they get closer. A brief look offers Neptune putting into collective consciousness the awakenings that happened when Uranus crossed this part of Aquarius between April 2001 and November 2002. Of course, willful misdirections and upheavals of that time could also be dissolved in the light of a greater unified understanding of the higher possibilities in this span of Aquarius.
The Uranus station prepares us all for the polarizations to come as Saturn direct approaches the opposition with Uranus that affects us all beginning September 2008 and builds in intensity for many months afterwards. Many will awaken to new powers beyond their ordinary understanding as they learn to cooperate with their immortal reality. This will teach us to pay attention to clear pictures of the end results we want to achieve.
Of course, there are also possible flawed results for many who are not living their integrity. Some will fall into forms of failure resulting in escalating major confusion, deception, instability, or misperceptions, depending on how they face the mishaps that result from these things. Those who do not learn from the small things are sure not to understand the larger patterns that determine their suffering or triumph.
Pluto was retrograde between April and September 2007, and retraced familiar territory for the third time from September through December 2007. It entered its Unknown Zone in late December, then entered Capricorn for the first time in about 240 years in January 2008. It continued occupying this new territory through March before going stationary retrograde on April 2, 2008.
In May and June it retrogrades across the first degree of Capricorn, then re-enters Sagittarius for the last time on June 13 at 8:46 pm PDT, or June 14 in Brazil and points east. As it continues sitting on the Galactic Center for many months to come, please reference various articles on this site about this important point in human history.
Though the outers now occupy unknown spans of experience for those presently alive now, these zones of course were known to previous generations. However, most on Earth do not remember the last time Neptune was in Aquarius, or Pluto in Capricorn. Only those in their 80s or older remember the last time Uranus was in Pisces.
As each of the Higher Triad re-enter zones for the first time since their previous cyclic visit, they reawaken that energy in the collective consciousness. This of course affects everyone to some degree or another, just in different forms for this time in history. When the outers move forward, we subjectively experience the Unknown Zones as the mystery, the future-in-the-becoming, or the process of Divine Self-transformation.
Now that Pluto went retrograde in early April, and Neptune will in late May and Uranus in late June, this commences a period where we will be doing a spiritual review, and finding new perspectives, understandings, and ways to participate in the larger evolutionary pulses the outer Triad symbolize. Search for your higher purpose and wait for the signals from the Transpersonal Triad to verify the challenges and lessons of your particular Path. We're squarely in the Unknown, so regard this as a front end look at future constants in our collective reality.
In part 3, we'll discuss more about these Unknown Zones and how the Outer Triad is still influencing Eclipses from 2006 and 2007, since these will continue to impact all of us for some years to come.
In Part 4 of this May-June 2008 Spiritual Astrology series, we will explore more about the spans the outer planets are in as well as the times when planets will make dynamic aspects to the Invisible Triad, being periods when we are most challenged to cooperate with "Spiritual" energies. Part 5 will offer a look at how the present shows us the seeds of the long range future.

Hi, Robert ... an off topic post pointing you toward the news and the earthquake in China. You probably saw it already, but the last time I posted was on the topic of earthquakes. The media is saying the casualties are up to 9,000.
Take care,
D~

you know robert i'm starting to recognize this irrationality bs. ITS DRIVING ME NUTS.
no really, i'm thinking erratically due to mine and someone else's erratic communication styles and i don't know if its just me or them or both. part of me is like, just get past it - move, do, go. the other part of me is like - stop, think about it. its the closest to obsessed as i've been in a long time! I HATE IT! IT FREAKS ME OUT.. i just want to be sane and have the security in knowing that something is - going to be there?!!!!
when does this end. omg. the star please besiege me in my need for support and clarity!!

Hi Donna - Well, since I don't really have an open thread to discuss current events, it's all good. As noted in another thread, we are "shakin' all over...." We can definitely expect more of the same globally over the next few years. At least it's forcing the Chinese to come clean in the media, which hopefully will crack open the lead curtain that government casts over everything. (FYI, I found out from a friend/client that this site is cloaked there. The mainland Chinese cannot get to The Aquarius Papers!) I suppose it's due to my obvious affection for the said-to-be cult revolutionary and agitator of millions the Dalai Lama.
Hi Robyn - The Grand Irrationality is putting constant pressure on everyone. The ego wants to control things, or at least make sense of them. The Grand Irrationality is about control systems breaking down in patterns of activity that usually make zero sense whatsoever, personally and globally.
Be a good surfer. Stop when it's time to stop, go when it's time to go, set your course and then shift if you need to. And remember that at any given moment others may just be crazier than you, but it's not your job to fix anything! Perhaps you are quite sane, but trying to reference the other inmates in the asylum for a measurement, which obviously will prove frustrating.
Ask for clarity, be willing to look and listen for clear signs of what iz and izn't, and when it doubt, sit still and don't get too worked up over something that can't be solved by getting worked up. We're all in this together, and learning how to reference the inner "straight knowledge" of the heart rather than stay confused by referencing the 5 senses and the mind, which are usually unreliable after a certain point. Breathe deep, observe the soft parade inside the gold mine, and thank yourself for all the good you have accomplished, are accomplishing, and will accomplish.

kinda tough to keep up with the spiritual astrology- chewy, dense, immense and starry. would not have imagined such a deep thinker to also be so funny! then again, perhaps you are franciscan, robert? ahah- kind and tough.

Hi Lee - Saint Yo Frankie was one of the best. Hauling rocks to build your own church does make you tough! Sometimes I do feel like Spencer Tracy as the boxing Father from Ireland. As for funny, well, a long time ago I took Wavy Gravy's dictum to heart: "If you don't have a sense of humor, it's not funny...."
