The Long (and Short) Term Effects of Christ Fest 2008 - Audio Talk Pt. 2

As you know, yesterday's experiment with mp3 audio tracks was successful! So here's part 2 of my talk in Santa Monica 2 weeks ago on the Christ Fest Full Moon of Gemini-Sagittarius. We are still directly under its influence, and will be for the year to come. That said, away we go!

If you haven't already, you may want to go back and re-listen to tracks 1-3 before launching into 4-6, since it used to be an entire talk not artificially chopped into small segments. And now, for your listening pleasure, the second half of my talk "The ChristFest Full Moon of 2008."

In the future I'll try to do more posting of talks, though I will have to charge for some of them since it will take a lot of time to edit them into posts. In past years I've charged US$11 per tape of my talks, but since the future is digital it'll be less.

Thanks Robert, I'm looking forward to listening to these ... meanwhile I wanted to share something related to the topic of audio recordings, namely about making a CD recording from your cassette tape of my reading. Now I can listen to the material in many more settings including my car which has no tape player. Also, by breaking it up into several shorter segments as you did with this talk I can quickly get to a later section without having to fast forward through the earlier material. I found this really worth the effort since I know I will listen to what you said several times over in order to get everything!! This is not the place for too much detail but briefly the key things I needed were 1) a "3.5mm Mini Plug to RCA" cable to connect my stereo system to my computer and 2) some software, and of course having a computer which can burn CDs although you can listen to the files on the computer. I found the cable on the internet for less than $7 including shipping. I chose freecorder for the software based on its excellent reviews (as the name implies it is free). It took a bit of time to figure out all the details, but as I said earlier I found it worth the effort. With freecorder you can select what format you want for the recording, including wav or mp3 and different settings for either of these, so this would probably also apply to creating files to load onto an ipod. One final detail, you need to have the stereo system and the computer pretty near each other since the cable is only six feet long so it's best if you have a laptop!. A big thanks for this talk! It was really interesting to correlate what occurred for me in retrospect to what you spoke about.

I remember mentioning to you a while ago about the dark particle stream (magnetic??) back in 2006/2007 but I wonder if I mentioned the 'sparkles'. If you ever get a moment to watch Mission to Mars with Gary Sinise, at the very end when he is in the tube he sees some things. Any idea what those could be? They have been with me for a very long time and no optometrist has been able to put a name to the visual. Any thoughts?

Hi Robert,

Love the audio files. Nice to hear your voice again! This full moon was weird for me. I had a very strong meltdown/emotional release at the new moon and by the full moon I felt alot more peaceful. Also, Pluto going back into Sag has been huge for me. I think because of having both Jupiter and Asc in Sag. I suddenly feel very sociable again, which I haven't during P's ingress into Cap. I guess I better may hay (and friends) while the sun shines, as it were. Cause come Nov I may turn into a hermit for the next 16 years! :) Anybody have similar experiences?

Hi Christine e - iv'e been hermiting for 3 years 'tho time has become irrelevent in many ways', Sun in Saggi - pluto square pluto passed now, so guess i'm in the re-generation/rebirth phase. Like Robert mentions finally feeling free of much & liberated to boot, despite much fear & panic initially( crickey & much fighting an uphill battle rather than going with the flow! Also found being with/in nature massively helpful for 'being in the Now', detachment, meditation. Was not a hermit for the whole 'time' that pluto was in Saggi! Also joined in this community during it all - another bonus.

This is riveting stuff.
I feel using media is a way of educating masses
of people. I saw somewhere that consciousness raising was supposed to be
worked on thru media outlets as well. There does not seem to be enough of it.
It seems a natural way of improving the world and educating. (how I came to know astrology was the hard way! If only I'd known certain things before I groan over this! Many aspects of astrology seem to me basic knowledge everyone should have-
(equinox dates for example- duhhhhhh) - in agrarian times I suppose the knowledge was more necessary- (spiritual aspects may be more necessary now!)
I know a few amazing teachers who do not seem to avail themselves of this
tool. It always makes me wonder why. I applaud especially making it free to general public. This is good work.
