Astrology for All in August, September, and October 2008 - Getting in Shape, Demonstrating Wisdom and Abnormal Aptitudes, and Practicing Dance Steps

Today we take a brief look at the larger factors happening right now. The title shows the higher, "spiritual" requirements of the moment, which all in all should have shown us where our best interests are, both present and future. Whatever ordeal we've all recently experiences, whether large or small, has shown us the starch in our spines and the elements of character which will provide the basis for what will stabilize with clarity in September.

Of course, I'm referring to the recent Mars trine Jupiter which anticipates the rapidly approaching Jupiter trine Saturn from the same signs in early September. The Earth element is extremely powerful right now, and what has been set into motion should expand in reasonable and organized fashion in August and September as the Sun, Mercury, and Venus fill in the details of this Earth trine energy.

It may be useful to consider mid-July through the first week of August as a "practicum" to help us deal with whatever Saturn will bring as it traverses Virgo from August 2008 through August 2009. Pay attention to details, do whatever routine works for you, and finish up your lessons of Divine Discrimination preparing to move into a new level of Education in actional ways by late September. Until then practice, adjust, prioritize, polish the order of things, don't let you mind outrace your life, and combine imagination and engineering to bring forth a new form of effective practical tasking.

A few personal reflections. In my life and in many other lives I know, the current spate of retrogrades, including Jupiter and the outer Invisible Triad, have brought some "returns" that require dealing with. Not bad, but delays would not be helpful in fulfilling whatever promise may exist. So for me it's been a time to be very practical and organized in figuring out who and what fits where. The question arises, is past prologue, or an echo of a memory of a perception of an echo of a memory of a perception of a.............? I suspect things will become much clearer in late August.

Of course this has resulted in many things being reconsidered. It seems to require us to "honor the contract" while being extremely clear and practical about what is and is not possible. I have heard from people I haven't heard from in decades, thought thoughts I haven't thought for decades, and have unusual options being offered to me. I am not the only one this is happening to.

Take the initiative. Practice perfection however you are called to do so. Show tenderness as you fulfill forms of personal expertise. All we are called to do right now shows us how we have been educated or are being educated to demonstrate a "perfect form" in late August. Those who have prepared will enter into a new element of their Archetypal Self in a few weeks, so regard this as the last period of the echoes of the "narrow destiny" we've all "escaped" from beginning with the major eclipses of 2006-2007. As the Archetype shows itself beginning mid-August, remember that radical choices and changes will accompany those realizations, since the planets transiting early Libra form a powerful biseptile with Jupiter, setting a "hot zone" into potentiality that will be triggered every time a planet transits any degree span in septile, biseptile, or triseptile either early Libra or mid-Capricorn.

We can infer that this will activate the second week of October through Mercury's direct station at 8 Libra on October 15 at 1:06 pm PDT (9:06 pm Greenwich Daylight time). The energies will leap forward the first half of November, precipitating even more choices and changes regarding the ongoing expanding process indicated by Jupiter's motion after its station in early September on a degree of transcendence. And that's another article for another time.

Hi Rob - what aspect / event actually triggers "the archetype showing itself" or the "escape from a narrow destiny" in mid-to-late August? I'm guessing there's an aspect and a Sabian symbol in there somewhere? Inquiring astrology students wanna know. :-)

I am wondering about the upcoming Mars Uranus Opposition (Moon in Libra) on Wednesday August 6th for a Scorpio. In August 2006 you suggested it was going to be a time of new beginnings and I am wondering if this is a continuation of this positive sense of moving forward or if I need to be careful or wary. I had written to you about dates for a conceiving a child and this day looks to be potentially a day of high fertility/ovulation. Because of some fertility problems, there is some medical intervention involved, so any insights there would be very welcome!

Hi Ondrea - Glad you checked in. Mars is activating the 30 Virgo highly active Eclipse point from prior eclipses. This is the first time that Mars has activated that point in two years, so we're still "escaping from a narrow destiny."

Hi Alexandra - This could be a good opposition for all with mid-to-late Earth or Water planets due to beneficial configurations. Transits to transits indicate ongoing passing conditions, while transits to natal show passing conditions we must learn from. As for conception issues, as you know I prefer to deal with them one on one, since a comment stream is subject to being googled and is more of a global forum. Namaskarams indeed!

Hi Giverny - It would seem you're attuned to the larger patterns. This is a good thing, as long as you remember that you cannot take some of this personally, since you may be a cosmic cypher for those around you. Glad the burdens are lifting and joy is returning. Hi, Robert welcome back and it seems that both of us took a a little time out. I went to my home country for a whole month and it was wonderful and I agreed with one of my big sisters that it was time for me to come back home. I am not sure if I want to teach anymore. I love teaching kids but I never intended on doing this for the rest of my life. I recently starting to doing music again and I feel intune with that though I still have a lot to learn, and I know that we keep learning no matter how good we are, or how muich talent we have and even if and when we master the art that we have chosen. But I would need something to fall back on, and I told my sister that I am interested in the healing arts. I started to learn about Reiki and I was looking at options and possibilities. Toronto has an excellent full time program in shiastu at the Canada School of Shiastu. You can get a diploma and once you have completed your studies and are certified. Your clientel can claim their sessions using their regional health insurance. I might even get work in a hospital wich might interesting. This would allow me to keep working on my music and building my skills there and help other people in some way. After, a year or so when I finnish the course, I could take some part time classes in my other interest which is Ethnomusicology. I thought, I would concentrate on music in Spain and learn to sing more of that music and learn the language and then I could move onto Arabic music. There is a good reason for this cause there are alot of Spanish words that are rooted in the Arabic language. I like the Spanish language and I can already sing at least ten songs now. I love Arabic music and am interested in Andulusia. So, thats a new plan that has been formulating in my head for a while. Right now I think mars is in a seperating conjunction to my natal mars. Also, the sun is conjuncting my ac. Well that is all for now. Hope I did bore you too much. But I feel like I am finally back on track more or less.

Hi Micheline - Sounds like you're on track and excited about the possibilities. Glad you're on the move, since getting frustrated with old biz leads to stagnation on many levels due to discontent. You'll teach again, but probably different things in different ways in different places. Reiki and Shiatsu are fantastic things to learn. Glad Canada's health insurance covers such things. You may find the study of sound, vibration, and various tonalities as they affect health an interesting path to pursue along with Ethnomusicology.

Hi giverny - Sure. Glad your daughter is shining brightly, and may she always do so. We truly can be lights in our world if we choose to let our heart do its thing. It may get bruised or dimmed from time to time in the process of becoming stronger, but it is never extinguished!
