In preparing for my web radio interview with my friend Michele Meiche for her show "Awakenings" I crafted a brief bit for what each sign can expect due to the August 2008 eclipses. While some effects last until Summer 2010, this provides a guidepost for expectable conditions to come in the next 90 days. There's also a link to the radio interview if you want to listen to the entire hour.
For your consideration, a brief look at each sign. This is by no means comprehensive, as that would require a reading specialized for your birth chart. Still, you may pick up on clues, so enjoy! The link to Michele's radio show is at the end of this article, so you can get a solid hour of her and me discussing some fairly metaphysical stuff, including how to be our highest in response to the eclipses and a lot more!
Aries - A new form of self expression will come forth and will be a platform for future success. Focus on enjoying yourself in new ways as you stabilize your work situation.
Taurus - A new attitude toward home and family and a more loving view is on the way. The rest of 2008 stabilizes your life in practical enjoyable ways.
Gemini - A new point of view is coming that will provide you relief. Eliminate negative memories of the past as you regenerate. Other people will benefit you if you're willing to work.
Cancer - New values, new resources, new ways of using what you have will help you reshape your mind, speech, and interpretations. Open to more mature relationships with an eye to others' motives.
Leo - A new self image will help your relationships grow in really good ways that release you from old sorrows. You'll become more dispassionate as you see you are a steward of wealth.
Virgo - Close out an old way of seeing the bigger picture of your life and ambitions. Get a more practical self discipline without rigidity, and structure some play or creativity into your life.
Libra - New goals, new ambitions, new friendships are on the near horizon. Be more detached regarding your creative process. Be practical in seeing what frustrates you and adjust accordingly.
Scorpio - A new public life is on the way that will relieve a lot of pressure. See your home and family as friendly things that can nurture you. Mature or wise friends will offer important ideas.
Sagittarius - A new future beckons that will liberate and transfigure you. Go back to school, study higher things, see the integrated bigger picture. Be organized in your finances.
Capricorn - Losses will create the space that frees you for bigger things. Get a larger view of how to use what you value wisely, and plan for the long haul. A fortunate encounter this year moves forward.
Aquarius - New work, new relationships, new insights into who you are will awaken the angel that sleeps within. Help relieve others' pressures. You'll reap rewards for work done in the past.
Pisces - By adjusting your heart response to challenges, you'll grow stronger and more confident. It's time for a broader motive. Times of seclusion opens inspiration.

Hi Robert,
I'll try posting this again on this post...
Thanks so much for this series of articles. This eclipse Mercury and Saturn in Virgo will be conjunct my natal Pluto in the 8th house. (The Mercury conjunction is exact with Pluto and the Saturn within half a degree of Pluto.) Could you please offer some insight or words of advice about that? What do you think I should prepare myself for?

Dear Robert
Thank you for sharing your insights on the recent eclipses. I also listened to the show posted and began investigating the virgo/pisces eclipses in 2006 since there was much upheaval and change in my life that year. One thing I noticed is that a person came into my life shortly after the Sept. 7, 2006 eclipse. As you mentioned the importance of mars squaring pluto during this eclipse(which actually at the time was conjunct my natal pluto and opposite this individuals venus - me 4/15/71 an he 4/09/68), my question is - Is there significance in the fact that mars will be returning to the same degree angle or close to it during today's eclipse?

Hi Robert, I'm having a Beatles day and also listened to your talk!!
When I boil it down the simplicity of your truth creates a knowing,a life force.Thank you. Laughed as I listened to the line "Because the world is round it turns me on". I thought, "that is Robert in a nutshell"!!!(At least one aspect of your being). OM my friend

Hey Robert,
Thanks for the insight on this months eclipses!
It never fails, just when I thought I was on the right path, maybe I was done learing enough life lessons for a while. Here it comes again! I've read in a horoscope; "To have patience and let the universe have its way with me."
So a quick question, my Venus and Saturn is in Leo. They are not conjunct. Venus falls at approx - 3° 49’ Leo; Saturn falls at approx - 26° 12’ Leo. Any suggestions on how to handle this shake up in my life again?
Pluto still opposes my natal sun, and jupiter opposes my natal jupiter.
Robert, Do u think all these transformative changes will eventually show me the right way?
Some nights I fall on my knees and say "Why has thou forsaken me?"

Hi Michele - Glad to be on your show. We covered a lot of great information, so I encourage everyone to check it out. Lots of spiritual food for thought!
Hi Melika - This is why I don't encourage people to repost. I answer when I can, and this has already been answered in the other stream.
Hi Annette - By all means listen to it again, since we covered a lot of great spiritual material. Thanks for your praise.
Hi c - I really don't know how that significance will play out. Otherwise, the answer is yes in terms of lessons to be learned or demonstrated. Maybe them again or someone/something like them.
Hi Cathy - Yes! "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together..." And its "roundness" DOES turn me on. Thanks for the refreshing thought. Aum indeed!
Hi Damien - Thanks. I'm now beginning the beginning of moving analog tapes to digital format so my hundreds of talks over the years, some of which actually are still quite relevant, can be heard. Oh to be three people! But help is on the way!!
Hi Amy - Well, it did go fairly well IMHO. You are most welcome.
Hi Olivia - You're welcome. Regard the entire life as a quest in learning and you'll never be far off "the path." You're ALWAYS being "shown the right way." It's up to us to adjust perception to "get it." As for "being forsaken," well, having once had the trials of Job lasting years, I can definitely say we're NEVER forsaken except by our own ego judgments and perceptions. The air is always there, if you know what I mean.
Hi Lori - Now that you've learned, do you know how to use those energies on behalf of whatever?

Hi Robert, I have just found this site and am so pleased! Despite my Aquarian sun sign I find I am not too good with computers;sun, chiron.merc square to Neptune probably, oh, and then opposite Uranus too, so don't turn them on very often!Hence my joy, Leo MC!,at finding excellent quality astrology for consumption.Still hungry! I see Sun,Mars will conjunct my NN at 16 Sag in Dec.Will set brain to learn the lesson! And try not to panic!Busy times we live in but soooo exciting. Thankyou for your generous spirit.

Hi Maggie - Well, I have Sun square Uranus and so am not exactly a technophile, but I manage to get by.;-) Looks like you're in for two years of major growth and development in 2009-2010, so why panic? What's not to like?
