Today we send a huge happy shout-out to one of the ultimate musical talents in history, the incomparable Van Morrison. If Van The Man had written only "Gloria" or "Brown Eyed Girl," his place in music history would have been secured forever. When you add "Astral Weeks," "Madame George," "Moondance," "Into the Mystic," "Caravan," "Wild Night," and dozens of other amazing compositions, this guy is for the ages. Today I have some extraordinary videos of this extraordinary man.
I've been reminding many friends and clients of one or more of these over the past two weeks, so figured it may be relevant to what many are currently going through. I've been pondering these for several decades, and still haven't found a fourth "truth" that isn't related to one of these three.
As I noted yesterday, this series was inspired by several comments asking about the difference in effect when Jupiter and the other outer planets are retrograde than when these planets are direct. Another concern was the difference when Jupiter is retrograde at 19 degrees of a sign as opposed to when it is in forward motion at the same degree.
This was inspired by comments asking about what it means when planets are retrograde as opposed to when they are direct. There are some strange rumors out there about how often some planets are retrograde, and even how "bad" retrograde planets supposedly are. There seems to be a lot of confusion about retrograde planets, so today and tomorrow we take a brief look at the phenomenon.
September is almost here, and it's time to put things into place that will stabilize and solidify whatever security we need. We are assisted in this by the Sun conjunct Saturn trine Jupiter in early September, harmonizing any sectors and planets we have in Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Pisces, so get a plan and get ready to do forms of self transcendence showing how you've become more responsible, mature, or organized since February.
There seems to be a delay in posting your comments and them appearing on the sidebar. I've been composing answers and then getting an error page message saying the server can't be found. But rest assured comments are posting, but with a delay in getting shown. Just wanted you to know so you don't do multiple posts thinking your comments are lost in cyberspace.
Yesterday I briefly mentioned that the Sun is now closing in on Mars, and will conjunct it in December 2008 at 15 Sagittarius. Wherever it falls will be the focus of much activity in the next 2+ years, as with all Sun-Mars cycles. So it'll definitely impact 2009-2010. Today we'll take a look at the rapidly ending Sun-Mars cycle and how it affected me personally.
Today we celebrate the shining sign of Leo and explore the qualities of this noble, loving, powerful Fire sign that represents the principle of Solar Fire, one of the three cosmic fires pervading our solar system. We all have this "kingly" or "queenly" royal quality somewhere in our charts, the area where we are the law, the light, and the center of power holding court in our own private solar system. Leo shows us the way to center ourselves in our higher law.
So far we've explored many elements of the general influences of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Today we introduce a re-cap of what's happening, and the larger Spiritual lessons the outer Invisible Triad has been and continues to bring us in terms of specific lessons and influences.
In preparing for my web radio interview with my friend Michele Meiche for her show "Awakenings" I crafted a brief bit for what each sign can expect due to the August 2008 eclipses. While some effects last until Summer 2010, this provides a guidepost for expectable conditions to come in the next 90 days. There's also a link to the radio interview if you want to listen to the entire hour.
UPDATE: Sorry about the previous title mess up. I set it in queue too late last night, and just noticed the brain blip. Have also corrected other errors in other articles. Sometimes I write too late at night.... And now, on to the article! Today we continue our examination of what the Aquarius-Leo partial Lunar Eclipse holds for our world. Overall, this should be a very productive eclipse freeing us over the next few months in some practical ways.
Yesterday we explored some basics of the coming Lunar Eclipse. So what else can we expect from this August partial Lunar Eclipse? Enhanced collective awareness and/or intuition, self-sufficiency, resolving difficult past karmas, learning new skills, and striving for balance as we outdo ourselves in some way.
