Have no fear, as Professor Robert will explain the many things that can be done in today's article. Mercury Retrograde has a very bad rap, and today's post will help all of us figure out what can be done, what should not be done, and what this 3 week period is good for.
There are many things that can be done during these periods. To that end, please take a new look at this article from a while ago titled Another Mercury Retrograde - Help! I Already Have Plans, Meetings and Activities Scheduled - What Can I Do? which outlines many different things that move forward quite nicely during these times. You can find out more about what retrogradation actually is and means, and understand what these periods are about and what we can do to make progress. Enjoy!

Hi Robert, thanks for ongoing helpful insights during these surreal times. Feeling the need to escape a bullying boss, I have a couple interviews this week. But, with Mercury Rx, I'm concerned that I should perhaps wait until after Oct 15th to make a decision. I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks, Robertalini

Hi Robertalini - Do your interviews, and if you can do more research or get more info before you decide, it would be a good thing. But after Monday's inferior conjunction things will begin to speed up, so your process should work just fine. And of course, never underestimate that there will be twists and turns regardless of which decision you make, and that things may not turn out as advertised. Could be even better than you think, with Jupiter trine Saturn.
Hi Michele - Not traveling yet, but overwhelmed with too many demands and extremely sporadic connectivity over the past 3 weeks. Yes, we can do an interview on Oct 17 when I'm in NY. I'll find your email and send you the number where I'll be at.

Robert!
I am loving this mercury retrograde through my twelveth house!
Never knew it could be such a good thing, well I do like "starting anew"
and just hope these sweet, slow changes are for the long term...
Many Thanks to you, Robert,

Hi Marie - It would seem that you're about to find a new self image based in things from your past or subconsciousness that allow you new perspectives on the movie of your life. Enjoy the sweet, slow dancing that turns us 'round for the long run. You're most welcome.

Robert,
Appreciate your prayers - this entire area is still recovering from Hurrican Ike but we have much to be thankful for. The electric & a/c are back on, gasoline & food are available. We went without electric & a/c for 14 & 1/2 days. Candles showed us much about how our forefathers and mothers lived - and why they went to bed early. Neighbors met each other and we worked together cleaning up yards and downed trees. I did obtain much good wood for my woodworking & bowl turnings. Had about 300 trees down in our neighborhood, western edge of the eye went over, several neighbors saw tornadoes at that time.
I did overdo it and my sciatica flared up, then walking the dog my hamstrings locked up and I fell flat on my face - skinned up pretty bad. Could not get up, the dog sat there licking me and whimpering because I was hurt. Yelled in the dark for 10 minutes but no-one heard me over the sound of their gasoline generators. Finally a couple drove up and almost ran me over - but stopped in time - said they saw the dog but not me. They helped me get home. I am almost all better.
Your last reading you brought up a health issue at this time - so I am resting and resisting the urge to really do much of anything.
Be Safe and Happy
Richard

Hi R&C - Yes, been sending prayers to everyone I know in the area, including quite a few friends and loved ones. It seems that Ike made a huge environmental mess there. I also had the experience of people doing things differently while in LA for the Northridge quake. Some friends without electricity for 2-3 weeks, people cooperating however was needed, lots of candle power, and getting provisions when possible. Having been through hurricanes as a kid in east coast central Florida, I remember the awesome spouts and dark skies of eyes passing over, and the mess left afterwards. You've both been through quite an experience! Sorry your hamstrings gave out. Thanks for taking care of yourself and checking in.
