I just found out that this remarkable woman has left our Earth. I always try to honor Spiritual servants when they check out, and truly may many more rise to further the work she began. Sister Emmanuelle, 99 year old French nun of Cairo, spent decades working with the poorest of the dump scavengers and helped create a multi-nation network of clinics, schools and gardens to serve the children of the slums.

RIP Levi Stubbs of the Four Tops

One of the powerful Soul voices of the 20th century is gone. Gemini Levi Stubbs, lead singer for the Four Tops, just died at 72. With the same band mates since 1953-54, he and the Tops gave us all years of great fun, dancing, and music. They were one of the classiest shows I ever saw. Thanks for everything, Levi.

It seems the powers that be just can't find time before Jan 21, coincidentally the day after the next inauguration, but it is being shown on quite a few individual stations. It connects the dots on the Bush torture policy and the grim reality of the barbaric acts and crimes against humanity that stain America's soul.
