Dealing With Saturn in Virgo Opposing Uranus in Pisces

Given this aspect is now exact across 21 Virgo-Pisces, it's time to revisit an article specifically explaining what the clash of these two planetary titans requires of us. It's a major tightrope act internally and externally, and great things can come of this.

Saturn is now retrograding as Uranus is direct, preparing to enter its "unknown zone" in a few weeks. Saturn is showing us more about the threshold state of the past few weeks while it was on its stationary degree. We will continue to peel away layers of any difficult Saturn or Uranian responses in us through confronting directly an inner polarization.

This particular opposition is about a new form of individualized hope arising out of a new sense of touching and being touched taking long range shape as educative lessons that train us in social or group cooperation. This is testing our willingness not to be willful, erratic, fearful or rigid in any area this opposition touches.

Oppositions can be extremely polarizing. They bring things to surface. These often involve tugs of war, head-butting, see-sawing, or confronting inevitabilities, They always lead to realizing something of the "Self/not-self" and test our ability to preserve a reasonable balance lest we fall into the tensions of opposites.

On a more positive note, if you have planets or points between 14-28 degrees of Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Capricorn, anything in early Gemini or Sagittarius, or 7-11 Capricorn or Cancer, then this opposition is giving you major growth in some very positive ways, and gifts of understanding, productivity, and circumstance will be with you for the rest of your life if you master what the opposition is teaching you.

Things are truly coming to a head on every level and dimension of life. And it won't be over for awhile, given they'll be in opposition for years to come. So in the interests of remembering what we're dealing with, please revisit this article for the core of what this planetary opposition is all about. Though some of what is there is dated, it may be useful in seeing the larger patterns to be extrapolated.

well - horoscope or not the forecast was very foreboding.
Saturn has touched a part of me that had been touched before but not in the same way..

i've been wearing long sleeves for so long that i forget my own teachings... my tattoos what i think that my truths represent. They are now here to be seen.

Uhm, yes. Unexpected things in love have transgressed. In my own "luck" the universe has brought me certain "results".

Honesty/truth has always been the bigger object for me see - in my perception of the world. And that seems to be the message i am getting across to dear ones. That the truth over powers and will be seen whether it was warranted or not, will be seen. That might just be my 12th house connection. But it is so.

These things are things i believe are connected to the 5th house and the 7th house and the 8th house and possibly whatever mars is highlighted with the moon. I don't really know. I'm not the expert that you are. I go on hunches of what you tell.

There is drama. There is the hidden agenda. There are solidifications of reality.

I feel that truth may be somewhat overwhelmed by facts. We fall back on the familiar.

Robert, thanks for your commentaries regarding Saturn/Uranus and the lunar eclipse. I was wondering how I would be experiencing the eclipse since it falls directly on my(as many) natal Pluto. I have had occasion recently to be aware of the Sabian Symbols for this event at 21 Leo/Aquarius. Last week, after more than 5 years from a phone call and over 10 from a personal visit, I received a call from a friend. My friend is a somewhat eccentric individual; a 'writer' of protean if somewhat twisted prose. Today after a number of years of declining health due to M.S. she now finds herself disabled and isolated at home. Here I find the symbols for 21 Leo/Aquarius curiously matching. Also of note is my friend being born in 1943, as an early Pisces, with the Saturn/Uranus conjunction in early Gemini. It seems a difficult time of change and perhaps awareness for her. I hope my visiting can be of some benefit.

But decided to check with the oracle itself.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for this article and the link. It was quite powerful and affirming for me. Firstly I'll share that in my natal chart with this aspect Saturn is conjunct my natal Pluto (4th), and Uranus is conjuncting natal Venus (10th). I'm feeling it. Also the Jan 26 eclipse was conjunct my natal sun (40th birthday), and the Feb 9 eclipse was opposition to Mercury in Aq (9th), which is Tsquared to Moon in Taurus (12th) and Mars in Scorpio (6th). Needless to say things have been churning. The Aug 2007 connection in the link was very valid as around the same time I also had Chiron retrograding back and forth over over Mercury triggering the Tsquare. The Tower card would be an apt description of what happened in my life - EVERYTHING of the old crumbled and the skeletons tumbled out of psyche's closet. Big inner work time. Anyway for the last couple of weeks residual stuff has been triggered - so this article and the link really connected with me. The gift is it has been an opportunity for me to recognise my power to choose to transmute with love anything that keeps me from being aligned to my divine source. Walking the talk. While this is happening on an inner level, on an outer level I am developing a workshop with a dear friend and mentor for the purpose of catalysing collectivism and connecting with the "part of us that knows" - living the new paradigm. It sure feels like part of "The Great Work". Seeing confirmation that this is evolving aligned with the energy of the universal dance is humbling and empowering.

Hi daniel_299 - This eclipse will shut down an old Pluto function in your life. Early 1943 people are dealing with Pluto triseptile their Saturn and quincunx their Uranus. With her configurations, I suspect she needs a lot of forgiveness practice, blessing and releasing any fear or anger she harbors. She's a genius who needs to open to a greater compassion for herself and the human condition.

Hi Susana - Mars and Jupiter align in conjunction every 26-28 months, and during the weeks they are together the Moon is in the 7th house every day for two hours. Hi kim.uk - Not sure which "Obamagate" you're referring to, since there are so many speculations rampant on many levels. If it's the birth certificate story, that's a dead horse. If it's all the other conspiracy nonsense, well, I tend not to take much of that seriously. I have a different take on how the entire political system works, having been a political analyst and consultant for a number of years. Some of what's being asserted is a lot of flapdoodle.
