The New Moon falls at 7 Aries on March 26, 2009, 9:06 am PDT, 5:06 pm Greenwich time. As with the last several New Moons, this one also falls within the larger cluster of planets spanning early Capricorn through early Aries shooting a massive amount of energy toward Saturn, which focuses everything. Welcome to practical realities, where much will explode as a result of a "will to wholeness" that is breaking up, breaking down, breaking through, and breaking out.
I mentioned how this configuration operates in the article New Moons, the Great Cluster of Planets in Aquarius, and The Grand Irrationality In Motion March, April, and May 2009 affecting Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The first 5 paragraphs describe what's still going on through the next few weeks.
The span still opens with Pluto and ends with Venus. This Lunation accents a huge number of squares from planets in Aries to Pluto, releasing tremendous amounts of energy at a point of critical emergence of whatever began 3 months ago. The larger cluster still has 4 significant points in Aquarius active. This is followed by the active closure energies of Mars conjunct Uranus in Pisces revolutionizing and focusing the "tension of opposites" through their opposition to Saturn. The cluster is closed with Mercury, Moon, Sun, and Venus all between 2-8 Aries.
As mentioned in other articles, this cluster is focusing things in the areas of our charts where it is located, and wherever transiting Saturn is in our charts is where we are learning a joyous rigor of learning and practicing a skill or two. It is a time of reviewing and refining, as well as continuing to learn a "venerable standard" we are learning to feel and uphold as part of our destiny. Everything that's happening, whether on a personal, interpersonal, or transpersonal level, is doing this Saturn in Virgo retrograde experiential practicum.
A reminder: This is still challenging our ability to deal with the long wave ongoing Saturn opposition Uranus. Though 6+ degrees apart and getting wider, it's still a very powerful pattern that is revolutionizing our lives and forcing us to adjust, learn, practice, and be very realistic in training for something that is to come. We can build a new interactive yet protected existence if we can do needed adjustments, conform to a plan, and do whatever it takes to live the higher standard we believe is worthy.
Jupiter cuts the Aries-Capricorn square making a semisquare to Pluto and the Aries cluster. I've seen this aspect as a "personal crisis," that leads to favorable growth circumstances when the semisquare is complete. Be clear and open about rising to some occasion, as your true stature can come forth in ways your society will recognize. Secret things may not work very well in the long run. Bust the lie or misconception, keep your view of possibilities and don't get distracted by negatives.
Aries is the energy of the pioneer, the self-reliant Cardinal (Activating) Fire that moves of its own initiative. With the cluster strongly focused on ideals, endings, and beginnings, this New Moon is where we should be able to know and enjoy a life renewal, a sense of newness and expanding possibilities. We are told 7 Aries is a degree of finding a good life on multiple levels of existence, versatility and expansion. This promises a new experience in a emotional, social, or cultural initiative.
Humor can lead to objectivity, and taking a new look at what we like and why we like it, what we believe is beautiful and what we truly value can bring us insights from prior times. We're still uncovering a lot of old material, and preparing for new responsibilities and efforts in a new world of experience.
So keep sensing what's just begun to emerge out of an old way of life, keep seeing future patterns as old ones melt down, and cut loose from old complexes that left you feeling like you were drifting. Act on the Truths you know and admire, stay fair and balanced as you see things from a broader point of view, and ignore those who argue the old ways are valid.
Nurture what needs nurturing, see patterns you want to imitate, examine the process of creation from idea to form, guard what needs guarding, and play to the hope for a genuine rebeginning. This is the beginning of a new imperative challenging us to stay balanced while grounding a future that is still in the becoming. We'll be finishing the shaping of the expression over the next few weeks.

ps - I forgot that one of the most powerful influences at this time is Jupiter quincunx Saturn. This is forcing major adjustments between the attainable ideal and the practical realities, with productivity possible despite the gear grind. It's rapidly moving into a triseptile, which will trigger the Grand Irrationality. I'll write more on that in the near future.

Hello Robert,
I was reviewing this new moon last night; I love it! In many ways, I've taken it as a harbinger to what you said regarding Venus Rx (at least for Aries). Which is to say, when Venus turns direct at 30 Pisces and meets up with Mars, Aries should be ready to lead a new life.
Thank you,
Matt

It is strange, but a lot of technical gadgets are having problems right now and for a number of hours, just a few hours before the New Moon. For instance, yesterday we went to a place where we were giving a lecture and they were having plumbing problems (did not affect the lecture). Then, as we got home, both lifts were out of order and my 86 year old Mum had to go six floors up... just like the rest of us. Getting home, the computer had a virus! It had to go to the shop to get cleaned up - is there a number os aspects that may help to understand these problems, which are not "life threatening", of course, but which are a "nuisance"?
Hug,
Isabel

Matt, I sure hope so! I'm looking forward to working for free (on route to a new career) and taking on other, less insane yet more creative missions. I'm tired, heh-heh!
Can't wait to be that rising butterfly. I've worked so hard for most of my life!
Blessings to all,
Warrior Lady

Hi Matt - Yes, when Mars finally crosses our Sun, we'll begin a new cycle where Venus will also be prominent.
Hi Michelle - The butterfly should already be emerging from its chrysalis, ready to fly. It seems that often in life we lurch from one "probationary period" to another until we find ourselves living exactly the life we need!
Hi Isabel - What you describe could be attributed to any number of reasons, since the different areas and things malfunctioning are ruled by different planets.
Hi WarriorLady - With Venus and Mars joining each other for several months, we're sure to see some major social harmony and new activities emerging.
Hi Robyn - I also echo that I believe this is going to be a very "likeable" April, despite the squares to Pluto in this lunation.
