There are few articulate, thorough, and comprehensible public philosophers. Henry Grioux is one of them. I've read his material for quite a while, and while it can be VERY dense filled with complex ideas arrived at through rigorous critical thinking, it's definitely worth the read. This article articulates a clear threat to democracy awakening in the US. Should it succeed, I have no doubt it will reawaken in other places,
I was going to post this earlier as it happened, but the last Kennedy brother died, so you get it today. In recent days we've seen the Sun move from Leo to Virgo, Mercury from Virgo to Libra, Venus from Cancer to Leo, and Mars from Gemini to Cancer. These affect all of us more than we think.
Despite his many flaws which are easily attacked by people of lesser stature and narrow views, Senator Edward Kennedy was one of the best leaders in American history.
Well, it's happening NOW! Today Mars enters Cancer, Mercury enters Libra while slowing down preparing to go retrograde on Sept 6-7, and they are exactly square late today (early tomorrow everywhere east of EDT). Mercury and Mars will both afflict Pluto tomorrow, just as Venus enters Leo. What does this mean?
The New Moon fell at 28 Leo on August 20, 2009, 3:02 am PDT, 11:02 am Greenwich, 8:02 pm in Melbourne, Australia. This New Moon in close opposition to Neptune and trine Pluto makes a See Saw pattern with many oppositions and squares discussed in recent T-square articles. Over the next few weeks, communication will be a focus, as will the need to get clear about what roles we're playing despite cross currents.
I'm back. I've read every comment these past few weeks, and appreciate those who reached out to each other for whatever reason in our gentle community. There were a few annoying comments, but I decided not to break my sabbatical since I have in fact been dealing with the dead and dying for over 2 months solid, trying to do various meditations to assist them through the bardo to whatever degree is/was possible. Many things are under consideration as we move through the troubled waters of late August.
We have had several important eclipses in the recent past, all of which will have an influence on our lives, as well as the world at large, over the next few months and years. In this age of short attention spans, let's take a new look at what's up.
Mars continues to exert its energetic influence on all signs. I wrote extensively about which signs Mars is most impacting at this time a while ago, but it slipped downstream fast due to the "Spiritual Astrology" article series combined with all the Eclipse activity going on at the time. Today we take a new look at what forms of "right action" we are learning from Mars.
Due to on-going stressful aspects in the collective field, it's important to focus on what we can do to maintain optimism and productive momentum during this time.
We now enter about 2 weeks of a very wild ride thanks to the Critical Degree T-Square Jamboree, with potential to break through and reorient consciousness in dramatic ways. Events will play out through the houses where we have early Cardinal sign energy.
Today we celebrate the shining sign of Leo and explore the qualities of this dynamic, loving, powerful Fire sign that represents the principle of Solar Fire, one of the three cosmic fires pervading our solar system. We all have this "kingly" or "queenly" royal quality in our charts, the area where we are the law, the light, and the center of power holding court in our personal solar system. Leo shows us the way to center ourselves in our higher law.
