The Grand Irrationality at Work October 2009 - Major Choices, Changes, and Shifts

For the next 10 days, we'll all be confronted with another integrated series of "fork in the road of destiny" experiences. As readers know, the entire world is operating within a larger energy field I have termed "The Grand Irrationality," which has been with us for a long time, and will be for years to come. During early October we have Venus in the Virgo zone and Mars in the Cancer zone setting things into motion across several areas of our charts.

Mercury is going direct 6:14 am PDT Sept 29 (Sept 30 in East Asia) and is now speeding up for many weeks to come. This shows a quickening of the ability to coordinate, put things together, understand the whole and the parts, the process and the larger cycles. Mercury, or Hermes, is known as "the Guide of Souls." Also the Divine Trickster, as well as all lesser models. It now goes "direct in motion" at 22 degrees of Virgo, affecting that area for months to come.

The 2009 Autumn Equinox falls at 2:19 pm PDT on 22 September, 10:19 pm GDT, (Sept 23 in Central Europe and points east), marking the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn. The chart done for the that point in time is said to offer a snapshot of the cosmic and literal weather we can expect over the next 3 months.
