The Solar Return happens every year when the Sun returns to the exact degree, minute, and second as it was when we were born. It can happen the day before our birthday, the day after, or on our birthday. A chart done for that moment, set for wherever location we are at, gives us a snapshot of factors at play in our year to come.
This Full Moon falls at 10 degrees Aries-Libra, which fulfills the seed of the past Sun-Uranus New Moon in Pisces that was heavily influenced by the Grand Irrationality. This coming period will help us achieve new initiatives by giving new meaning to old "facts of life" while we find relief in having made it through some pretty exciting rapids.
Today's post comes courtesy of a comment in a NYT article on the flaw of a political philosophy based in "no." Negative rhetoric that merely inflames the lower nature truly is different than the stand we must occasionally take because of our principles. How do we know when ego is speaking, or when a higher Truth is knocking on the door of our mind?
Or anything else that is burning electricity, of course. If you can't turn off all the lights for an hour at 8:30 pm local time, then turn off as many as possible. Cut the power any way you feel is good. Other things to turn off are computers, speakers, monitors, and printers if you're not using them. A hundred million people reducing 10 watts each is a billion watts not used!
Because they're still timely and contain a lot of information about what's going on right now, I thought I'd give you a one stop shop so you can reconsider the breadth of important factors happening at this time.
Late March and April puts the spotlight on the Cardinal Fire sign Aries, where we leap into a new Solar year with all the strength and speed symbolized by this energetic sign. This first sign of the zodiac shows it's time to cut loose and direct our energy and inspiration to new projects, relationships, and initiatives.
Yesterday we began to explore the concept that as we become an enlightened Being, rather than transcend our astrology chart, we actually become the embodiment of its highest function. Today we continue deeper interpretations of what this could mean for us and our world.
Quite a few people believe that if we're "spiritual" enough, we transcend Astrology and its correlations that affect the rest of us mere mortals. Beside being an incorrect assumption, it shows a lack of understanding of what Astrology really is.
New experiences of course, since it's the beginning of Spring, and the days will be longer than the nights for 6 months to come. The Sun is now in Aries, promising renewal of energy and activity, even as we find opportunity and protection in bringing other things to their natural end.
At 10:32 am PDT today, the Sun will enter the final phase of the 360 steps of transformation, the last degree of Pisces. This is the Omega point, the end of the end of the old year where we prepare for the beginning of the new, as symbolized by the first degree of Aries, the Vernal entry point into Spring.
March features the water sign Pisces, where we take a look back and harvest the fruits of our past year’s labor. We can feel a deeper, vaster view of a greater good for all and more ideal ways to live, individually and collectively. It is the sector of our reality where we experience the light and power of a broader, more impersonal motive and a deeper compassion for our common humanity. It’s the end of Winter and the beginning of Spring, which kicks off at the Vernal Equinox on March 20, 2010, at 10:32 am PDT (March 21 in India and points east).
The New Moon falls at 26 Pisces on March 15, 2010, 2:01 pm PST, 5:01 pm EST, 9:01 pm GMT, and March 16 in Baghdad and points east. The New Moon conjunct Mercury and Uranus will shine a light of fulfillment on our unique ways of responding to Divine impulses, and many will learn the fallacy of authoritarian thinking. What we learn the next few weeks will become major life lessons beginning in May.
