The Sun leaves Libra and enters Scorpio on Monday, Oct 22 at 5:14 pm PDT, October 23 at 1:14 am Greenwich. From now till then is extraordinarily important.
The reason today and tomorrow are so important is that the Sun is now in the last degree of Libra. This is the exact degree where Saturn went stationary retrograde in February 2012. We have all been led throughout the entire year to some form of philosophical completion, a new way of understanding things, and finished paying some heavy dues. These have prepared us for a re-magnetization already underway with Saturn in Scorpio.
So today we get to see the light of philosophical completion, and how we’ve integrated the lessons since January 2012 into the light of clear understanding about who we are right now as a matured Being. This is the Light of the end of that task. More insights and rewards coming around November 20-22.
As the Sun enters Scorpio, it immediately forms a trine to Neptune at 1 Pisces at the “Cusp of the Age,” followed by a conjunction to Saturn. You can bet this will bring many to a critical reorientation, a new dedication or loyalty, and a sense of getting out beyond the known and familiar. More about the concept of “the Cusp of the Age” at the bottom of this article.
From one point of view, this conjunction sets pulses in motion over the next year involving our Spirit leading our mind toward our Soul in virgin fields. The synthetic understanding comes from, and results in, a wider view of the interrelatedness of things once lesser approaches are transcended.
The emergent Saturn in Scorpio structures will now be vitalized for the next year. This begins a clean out, a clear out, a purification, a purging, a letting go, a deeper communion with experience, and a more determined focus. The voids we create by letting go allows us to attract what is more appropriate to our evolved state in the future. And given the spread of the planets right now, it shouldn’t take long. There a link to an article about Saturn in Scorpio at the bottom of this one.
With this Sun conjunct Saturn, action is front and center for the next year, and since that conjunction falls at 3 Scorpio, expect some form of “community action” involving building structures that foster community values. Wherever you have early Scorpio, you’ll intuitively know what needs to be eliminated, and where the regenerative focus needs to be. Find the right “crucible,” or “container of personality,” and you’ll do just fine.
