It seems some scientists have found a mineral that indicates the presence of an ancient continent submerged in the Indian Ocean.
Courtesy of Slate and the WaPo Social Reader, we find in an article titled Scientists Think They’ve Found A Lost Continent in the Indian Ocean where due to finding zircon on the ocean floor, scientists believe they have found traces of the ancient supercontinent they call Rodinia. They have termed this “new” microcontinent "Mauritia.”
From the article:
... an international research team reports that it has found evidence of a lost "microcontinent" in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar. The scientists analyzed sands they found on the beaches of the island nation of Mauritius and found traces of an ancient mineral called zircon. That's noteworthy because Mauritius is a relatively young, volcanic island, while zircon is typically found in much older, continental crust.
The researchers propose that the minerals came from a long-submerged landmass that was once wedged between India and Madagascar in a prehistoric supercontinent known as Rodinia. The theory is that, as India and Madagascar began to drift apart some 85 million years ago, the landmass broke apart and sank, Atlantis-style. The scientists have dubbed their lost microcontinent "Mauritia."
From Wikipedia, “Rodinia has entered popular consciousness as one of the two great supercontinents of earth history, the other being Pangaea.
Rodinia broke up in the Neoproterozoic and its continental fragments were re-assembled to form Pangaea 300-250 million years ago. In contrast with Pangaea, little is known yet about the exact configuration and geodynamic history of Rodinia.”
Here I’ll offer a little from esoteric history. Supposedly, according to the Secret Doctrine, Pangaea broke up to become ancient Lemuria, the first “human” prototypes to come into being on our planet. These ancient Lemurians over time and several sub-races became Lemuro-Atlanteans, and finally after another million years or so this “Third Root Race” gave way to the Fourth, or Atlantean Root Race and its 7 sub-races.
It seems the scientists were led to the discovery through “stronger than expected gravitational fields” around Indian Ocean islands which indicates a very thick crust, though it has been argued that the zircon may have come from a ship or construction materials dumped there. However, we are told in the article that this may not be the only ancient continental fragment lurking beneath the sea, and that there could be other places on Earth where the gravitational field “might suggest the presence of submerged continental crust.”
There’s more on this development in “Nature Geoscience,” “ScienceNow,’ and even “National Geographic” if you want to do a little more in-depth digging. It certainly seems that with advancing technology, we very well could uncover the secrets of ancient Earth and humanity, including the “old” antigravity electromagnetic technology of Vimanas, as well as those “miracle machines” that Edgar Cayce told us were under the Sphinx and Great Pyramids of Egypt.
Stay tuned for rapidly breaking developments over the next century....
