This dissolving, refining, educative, unifying, and transfiguring Full Moon at 27 Pisces-Virgo moves us powerfully into a culmination where we have to see the humor or irony in things as we move into greater freedom in action, feeling, and thought. Amidst the hard adjustments, aim for productivity through pulling back from projections while seeing how connected you are with the life that’s all around you.
Important Chart Factors
Many are finding a new stability or new sense of permanence wherever they have Scorpio in their chart. However, others are being forced to confront various life voids, and learning to “hold the empty space” to get a better sense of the limits and possibilities of their magnetism. As Saturn is fully in the Scorpio zone of the Grand Irrationality, humanity will again confront radical forks in the road of destiny that will be determined by their decisions, actions, and non-actions.
Jupiter at 11 Cancer offers us a final look at a Mystery, or Revelation, we’ve been feeling since August 2013 related to what nourishes or sustains us. Don’t clutch as you move deeper into something you’ve been feeling or experiencing since then, and allow a greater sense of your Eternal Nature to infuse your personality. Here your sense of humor will help you see why you made crucial realignments last Summer that are now an important part of your life.
This is the beginning of phase 3 of three phases in the process of taking a new look at our conception of what success might look like, and putting ourselves out so that others can see and applaud our talents. We’re still in an active process of personality integration through the house that Jupiter is transiting in our charts. This process will move through a critical phase in April 2014, with our “final exam” in May, June, and early July.
As I mentioned in previous parts of this Lunation series, the Sun biseptile Jupiter is crucial in how these two energies will manifest. It clearly is the culmination of an old Sun-Jupiter cycle, and this marks a shift in how these two work out as forces of “destiny” in our lives.
The “hot zones” created by this biseptile are approximately 25-29 Pisces, 17-21 Taurus, 9-13 Cancer, 1-5 Virgo, 22-26 Libra, 13-17 Sagittarius, and 4-8 Aquarius. If you have a planet or angle in one of these zones, expect important choices and changes, most of which require a sense of humor or freedom as you allow your creative visualization to give you whatever ability to “dominate circumstances” there is to be found.
Mars shows us how aggravated or frustrated we are or aren’t at the pace of things, and whether we’re still plagued by ghosts of isolation and separateness that need to be reconstructed and repaired. This repair or reconstruction work has its structural roots in late 2011 through October 2012, and this is the final exam of how we’ve been working on our connectedness since late 2009. This period will help us stabilize our Mars function through a solid understanding of “right proportion” or “right perspective,” or perhaps show us the way toward a fair, elegant, refined, or balanced way of doing things.
I touched on the importance of Saturn in the Scorpio zone of the Grand Irrationality in part one of this Full Moon series. There may be a need to see loss and death in terms of the power it provides us to regenerate, and many will come to a deeper understanding of the permanent spiritual factors in their existence, as well as a deeper courage that will never desert them.
This period when the Scorpio zone of the Grand Irrationality has been and continues to be triggered, shows that everyone will go through important releases of energy, people, and elements that would prevent them from being the spiritual potential they hold in the depths of their Being. This is a threshold, and some people cannot go through it with us, nor can we cross their threshold with them. So let go, let God, and show your stuff with focus and compassion. The experiment nears completion!
Spirit walks with this configuration, as well as any major septile series aspect between the planets. The choices we make as a result of these non-rational aspects show us our “direction of destiny,” and determines if the Spirit will grow stronger and closer with you, or if you will move in directions away from Spirit. Given that most of this community is intentionally trying to live in harmony with Life, Nature, and each other, chances are that whatever you – yes, YOU the reader – are confronting will show you a deeper, richer, more powerful Spiritual life. Which is a good thing.
So Just What Was the New Moon Theme for this Period?
Remember that the qualities of the Full Moon express whatever new directions we were shown at the previous New Moon. You will recall that its theme is related to “entering into the sanctuary,” where our mind has now been introduced to some element of the Soul realm. We have all “walked on” in some area of our life, with freedom and humanitarian instincts front and center the past two weeks.
We’ve all gone deeper, felt the natural flow of which way the tides and times are going, and begun to come to a “philosophical completion” based in the lessons of 2012. Some have experienced a special serendipity for their patience, and either a) their willingness to allow their lives to be transfigured, or b) their persistence in allowing their lives to be transfigured before this point in time.
The past two weeks featured hard adjustments to be made in terms of working, taking care of details, combining imagination and engineering, and trusting our bodily wisdom as we are stirred up to new forms of love. Though there is a sense of some things being “put on hold,” it’s helped to serve our need to get a “valid historical perspective,” seeing what’s important and letting go of nonessentials. And of course, due to Saturn’s influence in all Lunations at this time, the Grand Irrationality is center stage in all our lives, as well as the world at large!!
This New Moon in Pisces was watery, unifying, peculiar, future-oriented, and forced us to rise to some occasion. We have been able to catch glimpses of the emotional understanding and/or intelligence we’ve cultivated since Summer 2013, and were able to purify our experience of the larger reality we’re a part of. This has been a time to understand and trust our feelings while letting go of old stuck reactivity buried within. And due to the T-square, we continue to have to find balance, harmony, and the right perspective on everything that is under pressure in our lives.
Due to Jupiter’s continued occupation of Cancer, we continue to understand how we’re dealing with our Cancer issues put into play last Summer, since much related to those sign energies and issues came to the surface when the Sun (and especially Venus!) were in Capricorn. Basically, are you caring for yourself and whatever life you embraced back then? Does it align with your purpose and ability to serve your world a better way than in the past?
The Pisces seed indicated by this New Moon can help us have a new understanding and vaster feeling-experience related to a higher Grace and the Soul realm, as well as a greater dedication. Because Jupiter is the dispositor of this New Moon in Pisces, the backdrop to the lessons involve a sense of freedom or humor to get past ego limitations and any sense of taking self or situations too seriously. Especially given Saturn was the dispositor for the New Moons in Capricorn and Aquarius, we’ve been dealing with very heavy, deep feelings, and have learned to focus our magnetism on what we want and what we don’t.
This is the first Full Moon with the North Node in Libra. We have now finished a long wave process of learning to “shed skins,” and let go of echoes of memories of perceptions by taking a new look at what we used to believe. Factoring in last November’s Scorpio Solar Eclipse, we’ve been in the heart of learning “gain through loss,” so that we could have faith, go deeper, and receive impressions from higher planes.
The Scorpio focus for the past 1+ year is helping us intensify our striving in structured ways so we can unveil the life Mystery we’ve been chasing for quite a while. This helps us get a broader view of the potential of last Spring’s new initiatives. It’s also helping us see a) how we have shifted our magnetism on relationships since then, and/or b) how we need to find a new view or way of understanding the losses and eliminations of the past we’ve been through. Now we’re flowing into a long wave period of finding the right focus to bring forth a higher way to be with other.
In past Full Moon articles I included a page or more lifted from the articles on the previous New Moon. Since I am trying to shorten the articles for readability, I will no longer lift whole sections from those articles. Instead, please go back to part 1 of this Full Moon series where you will find links to those New Moon articles. They will help you understand the themes for this Full Moon period.
Jones Patterns and Element Balance
The planets in this chart are clearly a Bucket Jones pattern. Since the “handle” of the Bucket involves the sign Cancer, that energy helps us focus the energies of all the other planets.
A “Bucket Pattern” is a type of planetary spread with all the planets in about half the signs with one outside that span wide enough to be a handle. The energies of the occupied half are focused through the “handle,” or “nozzle,” in this case Jupiter, termed the “focal determinator.” The handle, or focal determinator, represents the way to greater effectiveness, the cause to be embraced, the lack to be filled, or the way to use the total energies of this time in a focused manner.
Dr. Jones states “the bucket type indicates a particular and rather uncompromising direction in the life effort.” This pattern gives “interest in a cause,” with executive tendencies that will adapt allegiances to maximize results of the effort. He says “the bucket type at its best reveals the real instructor and inspirer of others, and at its worst the agitator and malcontent.” This is the larger planetary pattern within which we’re all trying to do what we do.
We are also told this pattern is more about finding an effective release for energy within social settings, but also about the individual imposing their patterns on society rather than adapting to what is there. It’s about focused intention. So all of us can expect some sort of focused attention on the house where we have 11 Cancer.
With 4 planets in Water, 3 in Air, 2 in Earth, and 1 in Fire we have an emphasis on feelings and relatedness, and overall there’s a good balance. Since Air and Earth are “cool” elements and Fire and Water are “hot” elements, there will be a balance regarding these qualities, even as the Water and Air elements come to the forefront of this period. We will have to find inspiration in our own uniqueness and individuality, as well as the “cosmic order” we glimpse.
More on how Uranus Square Pluto Is Ramping Up Radical Energies!
As I’ve mentioned off and on over the past 3+ years, we’re all learning to manage the “out of control” energies of Uranus square Pluto. I’ve discussed this aspect at length over quite a few articles in the archives. Use the site google box to find out more about this years’ long disruptive revolutionary influence. Welcome to the 21st century of upheaval, transformation, and titanic collisions between a new world being born and an old age that’s digging in even as it’s dying.
That square represents the ongoing revolution of our times, with innovations and pioneering energies in conflict with restrictive and controlling power structures. We’ll be dealing with this for a few years, and it promises to make this year and next very “electric and eclectic,” moving the world through a revolution unlike any seen since the 1960s!!
Uranus is now moving forward over the spans it occupied in 2013, and on a degree of seeing how our Soul fits into a bigger picture and larger life pattern. We are being shown a greater freedom and aspiration within a larger pattern of Soul growth by rising above lesser things. This continues to lead us to a new identity and patience as we continue to synthesize concentration, reinterpretations of the past, and a sense of a new worldly order while moving into new realms of self-expression.
As usual, beware of those who are impatient, since explosiveness is in the air due to this square. Again, the T-square with Uranus as the driver throws the void into Libra, showing we need balance and a sense of perspective and proportion as we move into pioneering realms of self-sufficiency. Use the Pisces Sun to plan Jupiterian releases, and Mercury’s synthesizing ability to “emerge from your chrysalis” and begin living a new life.
Pluto has now finished its time teaching us harmlessness, kindness, and magnetism that brings forth a more gentle set of interactions through the deeper transformations going on in our lives. This Lunation shows us another way of embracing the feeling and experience of that emergent transformational role we accepted 2009-2010. Keep purifying yourself in every way, since the less sludge we carry forward the lighter and freer we’ll feel.
We have now been guided through deep experiences that taught us how to get beyond fear, see things from the past differently, and find relief through expressing the Higher Self that’s been “cut and polished” in past months. We can grow into a greater power when we’re confronted by old Pluto roles, coercions, and heavy-handed corrosive behavior. We can use the square between Uranus and Pluto in two big ways, both now and into the future.
We can exercise good Pluto function to put the brakes on negative Uranian manifestations, and good Uranus function to put the brakes on negative Pluto manifestations. Look to the harmonizing aspects to each to show which is building and which one is the release point for those energies. In this chart, Uranus is specializing many things in everyone’s lives, so go with the new rather than the established.
What's the proper sequence at present of deciding, feeling, and thinking, and an Overview of the Lunation
This Full Moon is distributive and experiential, showing us our freedom to be as we need to be, having a sense of humor in the midst of heaviness, and through getting a new perspective on what’s important and what’s not, we can “graduate into a new realm of being.” We continue to find a deeper faith in our individual Self and process as we release elements of our lives that no longer suit our magnetic needs.
As a process of moving through events, get clear about what you feel and why you feel it, and then get a new vision, a new understanding, or a new way of seeing things. Once you have the information, understanding, or vision you need, then decide what has to be done, and then go do it!
So follow your feelings into that which opens you to a new understanding or view of something. Follow this interpretation or thinking phase by seeing what simple thing has to be done to move everything forward one step, and then go do it. Allow your deciding and acting to follow your thinking or interactions, and a new feeling or experience will naturally arise after you’ve done what you must.
So this is a Lunation indicating that we’ll lead with our feelings, hunches, or experience, which will lead us to new information, new communications, or a new vision. This in turn will require a simple decision and/or action. Then a new depth feeling or experience will arise, followed by another new understanding or vision, which will in turn lead to new decisions and actions.
This continues to help us eliminate (through some hard adjustments!) all we no longer want to carry in our emotional field while helping us find a clear understanding of why we’ve been learning to have courage, and how to express it, over these past two weeks. With the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune in the three Water signs, we are in a time of an incredible amount of feeling energy, and continue to have opportunities to practice the emotional intelligence and “feeling-knowing” that has emerged over the past 16 months. Even if this period puts us under pressure to make critical decisions, the flow will lead us exactly where we need to be.
While it may feel like there’s a hard edge to circumstances over the next two weeks, these choices have been months in the making. This period will help some to a transcendent state, while others will have several sacrifices to make things right for the future. This one helps us move through endings and adjustments into a greater view of our transformational process and potential.
This one helps us see what to adjust, what to leave behind, and what to embrace at the end of an old life chapter. It can help us see the relatedness to things, and refine our expression. Continue to find the fluid balance in your expression, allow yourself to move into new realms of doing, feeing, and thinking, and stay focused on the greater dedication you began last Summer. Yes, it’s self-transcendence time!
As I’ve noted in previous Full Moon articles, since all shadows result from light hitting a dense object, it’s better to become as translucid as possible to dispel lurking shadows. And if you must look at the shadows, then refocus on the object being illuminated, since that’s the source of the shadow.
Find the correct 4 angles of illuminating whatever you want to focus on, and all shadows will be dispelled. Then you’re seeing things with an illuminated mind, and can act accordingly.
