April 13 and 14 feature the Moon in Libra filling in the void of the T-square, showing us the Grand Cardinal Cross! And beginning Monday, April 14, we enter 3 days of some heavy navigating, with Mercury in Aries square Jupiter, conjunct Uranus, and square Pluto which is going stationary retrograde 4:44 pm PDT, after which we have the powerful Lunar Eclipse and Mercury opposition Mars! It’s going to be a wild ride....
I’ll be composing more on the coming Eclipse soon. It’ll be powerful, and show us how to combine love and will, heart and mind, to achieve a new form of mastering energy. Today’s article on the coming 96 hours of quickening is not going to be exhaustive, since I’ve already written plenty about how to navigate this time period.
Specifically, you can find more about the Aries influence of the T-square and Grand Cross by going back to the articles The New Moon in Aries Pt. 1 - What’s Happening in April 2014 and The March-April New Moon in Aries Pt. 2 - Signs, Sabian Symbols, and What It All Means where you’ll find out what the New Moon Aries seeds are about, and some insights into what’s going on this month.
Just after the New Moon, when the Sun powered through the T-square, I gave you this: Astrology Now, April 2014 – The Heart of the T-Square As We Are Jolted To the Great Fracturing.
Then I offered some hints about how to manage what’s happening! Astrology Now in April 2014 - Some Ways of Dealing With the Great Fracturing
Again, being a transit to transit configuration, it’s nothing personal, though it will have widespread effects that will feel very personal to many. This fracturing may or may not show as direct effects in an individual’s life, though it probably will affect those around them to some degree.
This especially affects those with planets or angles between about 10-18 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, along with those who have planets or angles between about 25-30 Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, and 1-3 Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. However, even if something is falling apart, remember that it’s necessary to clear the table for new initiatives, new perspectives, new ways of taking care of self and others, and a clearer sense of duty and responsibility.
And of course, it does symbolize the incredibly tense and fragmented political, environmental, and economic world we live in. Given that something has to give anyway, this could very well lead to new innovations, both on global as well as individual levels. While it may be rough navigating, it’s neither the first nor last time we’ve had to find ways to rise to the global imperatives of our times.
So ride this through, pay attention to what shows up Sunday and Monday with the Moon in Libra, and slow down, take it easy, back away from edgy people and situations, and be a little more moderate than usual in your responses. And please watch out while driving, since Mercury opposed Mars is a powerful frictional energy!
Study, read, write, be practical in your assessments, and remember that we really need to get past this Cardinal Cross before resuming forward motion in our affairs. That way the friction is behind us, rather than in front of us!
Pay attention to the signs and signals, and use good Libra skills to bring integrated focus to the power of the squares and oppositions. So later easy to all as we rock on down to the Great Fracturing!
