Creation Mythology, Elohim, and Star Beings

John Lennon once sang that we are "super stars." From the Magic of Space, we are told our origins are more noble than imagined, and that we are part of a greater thought-form of a higher spiritual Love-Light by Celestial Beings, some of whom are hinted at in legend, mythology, and holy books. All is consciousness, some greater, some lesser, some solar, some galactic.

It must be understood that the great Centers of Consciousness, such as the Solar Deities and the Elohim, or the Creative Gods, are the evolutionary products of remote Cosmic Days, having evolved from manhood into godhood, and that on the morning of our first period they were again called into activity and were not newly created, as was anciently believed. For God did not create the earth and all it contained first, and then make "two great lights; the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night: and the stars and set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the Earth," as it is stated in Genesis.

In accordance with the Divine Law, which is also the law of necessity, the stronger centers of force preceded the weaker, in this Cosmic Day, the same as they did in previous periods, and will forever continue to do; therefore, before the creation of worlds or planetary systems, the suns were created which were to give light and heat and magnetic life to those worlds. These suns were created by the greatest individualized centers of consciousness who exist in the Universe -- the Solar Deities, or Lords of the Flame, commonly called Sun Gods by the sunworshipping peoples. After those centers of magnetic force and light had been created and their orbits established, the Elohim or Planetary Spirits brought into materialized form lesser magnetic centers, and arranged them into systems of worlds.

Other Celestial Beings, who in our Scriptures were sometimes called the Seraphim and Cherubim, and who had been but waiting for the Divine summons to rouse them to activity, began the work which the All-Father, Divine Mind, desired them to do. Like the Elohim, these great Beings were also centers of individualized consciousness, but differed from them in being the products of the Cosmic Day preceding this. When the last Cosmic Night came on they had, through individualization, evolved to a point beyond the probability of re-absorbment into the Universal Consciousness. And, although they were possessed of lesser power, being smaller centers than the Elohim, still the individual Godhood of each had been established, and they belonged to the "Heavenly Host" who work everlastingly for the upbuilding of the Universe.

We also are centers of consciousness, with the ability to bring forms of Spirit into manifestation in our world. You have no virtue that is not "recorded" in space-time. Every good thing you do, every good thing you think, every good work you do on behalf of building a better world, for yourself or others, becomes set in your "holographic pattern," the etheric double that is continually imprinted with your truth, goodness, and beauty.

So we really ARE superstars, in very small (and human) forms. And as we grow in bringing Spirit to matter, we become a Sun in our personal Solar system, bringing light and life to our world. As we practice the radiance of our Inner Flame we become stronger and stronger, more able to BE that radiance permanently.

At the risk of being pegged a weirdo, I have always subsribed to Zecharia Sitchin's theory that the elohim were actually travelers from other worlds rather than divine beings. But I love this: "After those centers of magnetic force and light had been created and their orbits established, the Elohim or Planetary Spirits brought into materialized form lesser magnetic centers, and arranged them into systems of worlds."

Thanks for publicizing this - I tried finding this book and the only copies I could find were hundreds of dollars.

Hi Lynn - Well, some years ago I learned that the elohim are the angelic group comprising the body of the archangel Raphael. On that level of cosmic consciousness, I suppose that any being from those heavenly spheres truly are "travelers from other worlds," as well as "divine beings." We are also told in the Secret Doctrine that the Kumaras came from Venus, and are the 7 "Lords of the Flame" that brought the Wisdom Tradition to Earth. While truly seeming to be "space travelers," I also consider them to be divine Beings, since I believe the Lord of the World is such a consciousness. And yes, unfortunately all copies of TMOS are very expensive. That's why I offer pieces here.
