Carson

Robert,

As you have such a voice attuned with the intent of Source I cannot express my gratitude enough. You have given me much insight, especially over the past few months as so much is changing as you write about. I feel your words my friend, may we all find the peace of aligning with these turbulent shifts. I also have to add that I really appreciate such effective reframing of the ideas (I know I have) towards the Mercury Retrograde and Plutonian processes. They absolutely strip me to the core and I just want to get mad but I can read your words and understand and see it is all for the Highest Evolution possible.

Be well. Namaste.

Carson

Robert

Hi Carson - Thanks for your kind words confirming that I've found an accurate lens to view this ever-changing, shape shifting reality we call life on Earth. Truly, I'm glad to be of service at this crossroads of history for us all.

It's pretty weird out there, and as I was raised to be a clueless American drone but never could quite get with the program, it's nice to get such generous feedback from my fans that this American misfit actually found his way to a space-time "dimensional door." I suppose if one does not fit in with conventional reality, one finds one's own. At least it's more interesting than the usual negotiated half-truths of our present chaos.

Sometimes I want to get mad too, at the harshness of what our world has constructed and/or allows, but then I remember that I wouldn't want to check out with a lot of frustration on my plate, and there's no telling when we're going to be called home. That's why I live every day to the fullest, try to stay open to all kinds of views and experiences, dodging the bullets while enjoying the love and friendship of those near and far. Thanks for posting. Aum.

Kerri

Dear Robert,

Thank you for all the work you do to keep us informed and enlightened - I appreciate it!

I am normally not one to write, but feel compelled to regarding the upcoming eclipses - I am a Virgo, both moon and sun.

Does the degree of where my moon and sun were on my birthchart have any relevance on how I will be effected by the eclipses? My moon was at 13 (12.86) virgo and my sun was at 18 virgo - my birthday is September 11th. I can't help but notice that they are a match for the lunar and solar eclipses in Virgo this year, the partial solar happening on my birthday.

I am just wondering if there is something I need to keep in the fore front of my mind?

Thanks again and I hope all is well in your world!

:)

Kerri

Carson

Robert,

Being of service at this crossroads puts it mildly when you write so much and are so thorough with your responses. It is such an ego-shattering and mind-opening experience of waking up to these pushes and pulls on our psyches and views of reality. I guess given the choice many people would rather hold onto the fear and frustration they know then the overwhelming forces that shape an individual into the Love and Light that they are. To plunge into the deep recesses of the unknown subconscious Soul is an ontological hall of mirrors more daunting and confusing then most appreciate. And I guess as long as they want life to be "logical" and "make sense" and keep control the stress just keeps mounting along with the external judgments needed to justify not having to face the trials and lessons within. May Spirit provide ample compensation in time for those hearts and minds that desperately want to hang onto their physical attachments and postpone the death of useless things for a sense of Self.

Carson

crawl or fly

Robert;

Interesting you mentioned the eclipses heralding a move; I am planning to move this summer, back home, to help out my mom and to continue my yoga studies. The solar eclipse falls on my descendant. Transiting Pluto is conjunct my natal Venus@ 5 Cap, opposing my moon@ 3 Can, trining my Pluto, and squaring my Asc./Desc. Seems like powerful stuff.

kathy

Robert, dude, you are on a roll.

Thank you so much for having the clarity to broadcast these cosmic beams in a manner that allows all of us, who must be flexible while dealing with strange and surprising openings and closings, to follow the lead and know that our non-attachment greases the skids of Spirit.

Robert

Hi Kerri - You're most welcome. The answer is yes, your Sun and Moon will both be directly affected, as will the house they fall in and the houses they rule. Expect for many things in your life to pass away in the future connected to these, replaced by other light and habits. Your home will change, your purpose will change, your heart will change, and your feelings will change. Follow the voids, since they will be the areas of new fulfillment. You're welcome, and yes, all is well in my world (though it gets a little hectic at times!) Sometimes I feel like Steve Martin in "All of Me."

Hi Carson - Yes, but just think - when there's no more ego push-pull, and you're surrendering as fast as you can, praying the whole way, then there's nothing left to shatter! It has always amazed me that given the choice of letting go into liberation forms, or holding on to things and only getting increasing pain from doing so, we humans really are not as smart as lab rats. (I can demonstrate it if anyone wants). It's hard working without a safety net, even though at some point we ALL wind up on the highwire without one. Like now, when nothing is logical or makes much sense at all, it's amazing to me how many people still expect it to make sense in a way that allows them comfortable ego controls. And the stress keeps mounting, mounting, mounting, until the highwayman runs straight into the muskets of the redcoats. Thank the stars that things are the way they are, since Spirit ultimately prevails, despite all the painful attachments of conditional reality.

Hi COF - Just wait till Jupiter conjuncts your Venus later this year. Wow. With the eclipse on your Dsc, expect radically different relationships by next year.

Hi kathy - Thanks for your kind words. It's all part of working without a safety net, or worrying about owning an identity that can be damaged by the vagaries of life. I set my chickens free a while ago (to quote the song from the Furry Freak Brothers) and so have a lot of time and energy to post this "cosmic weather report" so that all of us can play the tides to the best of our abilities. And I love the phrase "non-attachment greases the skids of Spirit." Yewbetcha!! Yeehaw Buddhism at its best!!

SO GRATEFUL I FOUND YOUR WEBSITE! sun Cap 5th hse/moon Pisces 7th hse/ Virgo Asc conj Pluto 12th hse

MUCH RESPECT TO YOUR OUTSTANDING ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND CONVEY ASTROLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES FROM A MIND/HEAR/SPIRT APPROACH!

ebru

Hello Robert,I just read your article,Iam writing these from Turkey,Iam very far from you.Im worrying about eclipses, last year september eclipse (7,sep.) was very bad,but 22,sep was good.In fact my life has changed too much in last 6 months,I engaged,Im getting married soon,
Im a pisces (20.02.1973) and my ascendant is aquarius,
will march be a good month or bad? :)

thanks for all,

Robert

Hi Bonnie - Welcome to the site. With your "moniker" I'll bet you're on the verge of a really great leap into a new life and purpose. Use this year to open your imagination, let go of the past, and get ready to rock by November.

Hi ebru - Also, welcome to the site. My father loves Istanbul from the years he taught at the university. I hear your country is great in many ways, where ancient and modern culture blend together in unique forms.

Life changes, while daunting, are important if we are to continue to grow. 34 is a "peak year," where things started around 28 complete themselves, and you get a chance to shift gears, since certain things are ending naturally. Saturn opposed the Sun is a natural time to get married, as is Saturn in the 7th house, so congratulations. And while it's often not good to generalize in terms of "is it a good month or a bad one," in your case March should be very good, with Venus and Mars harmonized, as well as Mercury and Jupiter. In a marriage, the specific day is very important in showing how the union will progress.

With Sun in Pisces and Aquarius rising, you'll never be in synch with your times, as you are a being of the future. Trust your intuition, be more open and loving, and beware of trying to control what should be allowed to grow. When you get most pessimistic, try to see the other side of the coin, be more positive, and cultivate your spiritual rapport with those around you so you don't feel cut off from people who you need for balance. Again, congratulations on your coming marriage.

sue

Hi Roberet,
Another fascinating article and full of helpful advice. I like the way you talk about the changes taking time come to fruition. I guess with Mars at 13 Pisces (5th house) and the Moon at 29 Pisces (6th house) in my natal chart this eclipse cycle will be important for me. The way my life is right now - I really hope changes in my home and locality occur but can't see it happening until later in the year. The time frame you lay out gives me a sense that my dreams might actually become a reality.

Thanks for your great site. I love reading it.
Sue

Robert

Hi sue - Thanks for your praise of the site. Clearly you have been affected by last Autumn's eclipses, and will launch a new personality over the next few months. The early March eclipse will shut down an old way of "doing your Mars," while the late March eclipse will definitely affect your Moon. Look to March 30-31 to get valuable info re: your Mars changes, and April 9-10 to get info re: your Moon changes. The Mars changes will of course get triggered at your Mars return around April 22-24, and you'll have a "Lunar launch" the second week of May. May 17-18 will be important, as Mercury squares your Mars. Slow down, take it easy, be as silent as possible, and don't get any speeding tickets. Rest, relax, and see it as a critical turning point to be illuminated and vitalized by the Solar waxing square around June 2-3.

danae

wow Robert - another amazing article which deeply resonates with me, thanks and more thanks!

the eclipses of last year (when I was experiencing a lunar node 'return') - particularly the September eclipse at 29 Virgo, which was conjunct my fourth house South NOde and Uranus - left me with a very clear message to move past fear and abandonment.. I made it a mantra.

NOw with the upcoming Solar eclipse directly on my tenth house Pisces (29.43) North Node I'm wondering what will eventuate... considering I still have some serious fourth house issues going on (like having to move out of the house I live in at 8 months pregnant and with four small children - among other challenges to the roots of my being!) and my tenth house seems to have been all but forgotten (career seems to have gone by the wayside and I hide away to block out the judgements of the conservative groups in my immediate 'world').

*sigh* what we focus on grows...it would be welcome relief to have a shift of focus, and resolution to some of these dillemas - but I realise the danger of thinking in terms of dualisms... life is and/and and not and/or.

what do you think?

peace, danae

Laurel

Robert,
Love your magic way with words and would like to challenge your understanding of this:
'Pisces new motives will suddenly come forth, as will the need to bring some things to abrupt closure by applying will power as an expression of Divine Mind and intention.'
Having 2 planets and the moon in Pisces, being an Aquarius, Virgo rising, I am finding no mind is best. Moving out of duality by merging the light and dark, good and bad within have lifted me into my divinity and the mind takes a backseat. There is no intention or personal will here, just deep joy. I hope I'm not sounding egotistical but this works really well. Maybe, just maybe the paradigm shift everyone talks about has to do with Not forcing our minds into ever clearer boxes but living on a new level within it all, embracing our bodies and feelings..
Thanks so so much for all your wonmderful and inspiring work and love,
laurel

sunshine

Dear Robert,

Since about a week i visit regularly your site for the wonderful, insightful inspiration i find in your words and thoughts.
Since mid-november when my boyfriend comletely drew away from me for reasons he never revealed, i started to move inwards to develop a higher awareness of myself, my soul intentions and the way i relate to him and people around me.
We both have our sun in virgo.
I'm eager to know how the coming eclipses will influence us. Cause now that i look back i see that things started to get loose by september 2006 around the eclipses, he started to draw away by mid October and shut down completely by the 18 of November. With the help of your readings i start to relate these events to something higher above and realize that with a better understanding of what's going on up there and with the progress i made to get rid of the bad and reveal the good in me, i can be prepared for what's to come in the best way.
I thank you very much for the help and for this wonderful site,

Sunshine

Robert

Hi danae - You're most welcome. Great that you escaped from the "narrow destiny" of fear and abandonment. Welcome to the Universal Family! The NN is always a line of greatest evolutionary development, with the form determined by where on the spiral your consciousness finds itself. Your NN is where you take in the lesson, the SN where you demonstrate the wisdom of what you learned via the NN. In your case, it may mean a new profession expressed through the 4th house affairs.

Sorry you're a wanderer in your third trimester. Of course, in the biggest mythos we have in the western world, the mom of a Great One also found herself "on the road" at the birth of her child. (No, not Jack Kerouac's mom! ;-)) As for the judgments of conservative groups, well, the Buddha observed that they'll criticize you whether you're silent or speaking and there is no one the world doesn't criticize. I consider the source and regard it as a chance to detach. It simply doesn't matter what others think of you. It matters what you know about yourself and where and how to grow into your best existence. And sometimes a change of scenery is the best prescription for a new life. Whatever is, is. And yet we always have the power to grasp a new idea, use our imagination in different ways, and refuse to accept unnecessary limitations arising from obsolete life approaches. I think it's ALL a bunch of experiments in truth teaching us that we are greater Beings than we imagine.

Hi Laurel - If the entire Universe is a thought form emanating from Universal Mind, then we can never have "no mind." It's like a fish believing they can detach from the sea around them. All we perceive and do not perceive, all that we can and cannot experience, is a Cosmic Thoughtform. Manas (mind) is the field of vibration through which all manifested reality comes into differentiation, from the sublime to the ridiculous. Even the Masters of the Wisdom participate in Divine Mind.

I agree that we should not stay stuck in the lower mind and ignore direct experience. And of course, experiencing joy as totally as possible is always good. As for feelings and instincts, they often lead us into a ditch if we don't have discrimination, dispassion, detachment, and intention to goodwill. That said, of course the point is to be able to access a "non-dual" state to the extent we are able. But I've also found that it's good to be careful that when we're blinded by the light we aren't whacked over the head by another's "free will" to do unfortunate things.

It sounds like you've found a great way of "beingness," but still, the point of our human system is to generate "bodhichitta" in the world for the benefit of all sentient beings. That's the "doing" part of our bliss. I've found that while seeking and attaining perfect joy, bliss, happiness, and harmony with all that is are all noble and good states of awareness, unless we put these in service to uplift our world (however our dharma dictates) it's all just ego. Simply put, it's not about how joyous I feel - it's how much I can bring this to those who feel isolated, confused, clouded in dark thoughts and feelings, and so forth. And none of us necessarily need to seek these out, as I've noticed they find us as soon as the time is ripe.

You're absolutely correct regarding the shift. We cannot at this time force our minds into "ever clearer boxes" since nothing is going to fit conventional references for about another 10 years thanks to the Grand Irrationality. Living holistically does involve "embracing our bodies and feelings," though this will mean different things to these vehicles at different times in the life. As our bodies, feelings, and lower mind are an effect of our Higher Self's awareness of its own existence, how we relate to our worldly vehicles is part of our larger evolutionary process. And it's all a bunch of opportunities to love ourselves in our perfection and imperfection, as well as others and all that IS. Your joyous sense of Oneness is a clear indicator that you've entered a higher vibratory flow.

Robert

Hi sunshine - Welcome to the site. Glad you find inspiration here. Good that you see the positive potential in your inner journey, since Uranus is no doubt revolutionizing your life and helping you be more independent, as well as allow others more space to be their uniqueness. Of course, it does disrupt things!

These eclipses will certainly put the focus on Virgo and Pisces ways of relating to self and others. Since your changes started with last Autumn's eclipses, these next eclipses will be part two of the way the two of you have "escaped from a narrow destiny." The endings have opened the door for both of you to be more able to be yourselves. How you two will navigate from here is entirely up to each and both of you. Where there is friendship there is always hope for finding the Way into a future different from the past. Where there is no friendship, there is no basis for a lasting relationship.

I suggest you open to affirming new people enter your life who could be good and true friends, both male and female, as these feed the Love of the Higher Self. Have no doubt they will be showing up, and then grow free of old "social rigidities" in the joy of good fellowship. Later this year you'll have a real sense of how you've matured, and what your higher purpose looks like. And of course you're welcome.

Helen

Hi Robert again,

Why am I so excited?

The lunar eclipse in Pisces, it forms a trine to my natal Uranus in the 9th house from the 5th house. The degree of the lunar eclipse did not make it into my 6th house. Since the last lunar eclipse , I have released several romantic relationships. A company that I used to work for has been bought out and is gone. I have come to realize that I don’t need credit cards to survive. Also I had to put one pet to sleep and ten days later, got a new one. In March Uranus will start trining my natal Uranus so I ready to live life on my terms.

What excites me the most is the Grand Fire Trine coming up. It hits my four planets, Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto in Leo all either in the tenth house or in my eleventh house. The planets most effected will be my Mercury and my Pluto.

It makes all BS I going through now worthwhile.

I feel that your website is giving me the strength and clarity to go where I’m headed. Keep up the good work. Thanks for being such an excellent coach.

Peace,

Helen

P.S. I love being a Leo and learning to be a Leo on the higher plane of Leo. I have more comments about politics being “good theater”, but that is another post.

Fishgirl

Heya, firstly helen above i think you are ace! I love when people are excited about their transits! That's what astrology is all about in the best sense and making the most of tides and seasons!
I just wanted to illustrate some positive eclipse stuff too as i feel people fear them a lot and i find them shockingly delightful if you can let go of the past. That said, a couple of weeks ago i was in tears refusing to face the truth of something i couldn't hold onto anymore...but once i realised what gave me joy and sped towards that, the universe sent BUCKETS of fortuity including a new job, a new home, and even a complimentary lavender body wash:)
I have sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo. Six months ago at the September eclipses i started the most challenging period of my life so far, and with the Pluto links to that eclipse i felt strangely compelled to challenge myself even though the fear made me sick. I'm now home and safe, and a completely washed, overhauled, new person. The eclipse touched my 9th and 3rd houses, but mainly my 9th. Since then travel and publishing have taken on a whole new meaning to me and i have opened my eyes in ways i never would have had i not taken up the agonising challenge. Every time i read your quote Robert "escaping from a narrow destiny" i laughed as that is exactly what i was doing - even if it did mean intense challenges.
I'm so glad to be out of the woodwork and i just want to give some encouragement to anyone else going through intense eclipse agonies because that is how i felt and i know they can really put you through the wringer.
My bits of advice are let go of the past and embrace what brings you joy. If you don't the eclipse will smack you on the face like a little child to make you wake up!!
Thank you Robert for the most enriching website and your beautiful way of replying to everyone.
Happy eclipse!

Robert

Hi Helen - Yes, trines and sextiles from eclipses can yield great growth in multiple areas, so that every thing that's lost opens space in the life for better things to present themselves. It seems as though your third house will have new and exciting developments.

The Fire Trine should open more doors than you presently imagine, and release all the pent-up experience of the time Saturn's been on your Leo into wisdom forms. That it focuses on your Mercury is great, since that planet is how we coordinate the material with the spiritual. And thanks for your praise of my coaching skills. (One of the ways I used to describe what I do is "life coach.") I also love my Leo Ascendant when Pluto there isn't putting me under pressure.

Hi Fishgirl - Welcome to the site, and thanks for pointing out the good that comes of eclipse effects when we let go of a past that is no longer fulfilling. And isn't it amazing how we can go from tears to laughter in a matter of a few hundred hours? It sounds like when you were willing to accept a "manifestation," the Universe sent you lots of what you needed.

Glad you were willing to face your fear and let it go. We should never be a slave to that illusion that leaves so many sick in mind and heart. I believe we're so used to ego that it is very intense when we challenge any of it, since ALL our assumptions come into question. It will struggle for survival, and wants to know it's real by insisting that all it believes is real. Whenever any part of it is challenged, ego freaks out and want to defend ALL of what it believes. Being impermanent, ego "knowledge" unravels like a cheap suit, but usually only after a period of wrestling.

Also, thanks for encouraging others who may be dealing with eclipse agonies. We're all in this together.

Helen

Dear Fishgirl & Robert,

Thanks a heap for your kind remarks. I think you are an ace too! For me tonight is fantasy night. It all began for me when I was seven and was taken to a performance of MY FAIR LADY in London. When Eliza walks out on the balcony to be taken to the ball, something inside of me just clicked. I knew at that time I that this was my calling.

It took me many years to come back to that original thought. I was put on this earth to entertain people.

Why do I call it fantasy night?

Tonight is Oscar Night.

Thanks a bucketful for being inspiration for me. We are all in this together.

From my heart, peace,

Helen

P.S. My kitty is a Virgo, but he behaves as anything but!

Robert

Hi Helen - Gore and Melissa won! (I also read the organizers made sure the entire event was "carbon neutral"). May you go on to major entertainment accomplishments, whatever that would look like to you, and bring inspiration to as many as your heart can handle. And pet your owner's head for me.

Pamela

Robert,

The coming eclipse falls exactly on my midheaven @ 13 Virgo should I be worried?

Pamela

Robert

Hi Pamela - It could mean that your profession will get clearer while your foundations are illuminated. Something from your past will come to light that explains why you aspire to what you do, or why you want to appear the way you do to others. You may become more charismatic when you're in the public eye, or you may have the power to calm those who are agitated through focusing will power to answer some need.

Pamela

Dear Robert- Thanks much for your input & insight.

Pamela

Robert

Hi Pamela - You're most welcome.

Lyzette

Hello Robert,

I am new to reading your article and find it most informative, thank you kindly. I'm still a novice astrologically speaking and was wonderting about the upcoming eclipses. I am a taurus/w Scorpio Asc and Sag moon in my 1st house. Will the upcoming eclipse effect my natal Jupiter/Virgo in my 10th house? Although I enjoy my career (scientific laboratory for 5 1/2 years), I strangely "sense" there is a change on the horizon. The eclipse of Sept. 2006 resulted in my changing eating habits and becoming a vegetarian (among other things) so I am paying more attention to my intuition.

Robert

Hi Lyzette - Welcome to the site. Yes, it will affect anything we have in Pisces or Virgo, shutting down old manifestatons and opening new ones. Fantastic that you're now a veg-head like me and so many others! It will keep your body cleaner over the long run, you'll take in fewer hormones and antibiotics (they're in the animal feed, as I'm sure you know) and on the whole you'll probably feel lighter. Just make sure you get proper nutrients, like some of the B vitamins usually found in animal tissue. Again, welcome, and keep coming back, as I post fairly frequently here. And if you get frustrated with the terminology, just skip the jargon and get a sense of what I'm saying. You'll learn pretty fast that way.

Ida

Hi Rob.
Just wanted you to know that I have linked to you in my recent post on my blog. Finally, I got around to starting it so it's very raw and unpolished.......and hardly any visitors at all yet. But, I want to include some of my favorite astrologers on the site. Hopefully, I will get around to writing my own astrology reports............yoga seems to have taken over my life these days.

Best,
Ida

Robert

Hi Ida - Thanks for linking, and best of luck on your own web presence. As for reports, well, they do take a lot of time, so start simple and short as I know how they tend to grow out of control! And you may find that posting about Yoga will build your traffic fairly quickly if you write good articles. The word spreads around the web over time.

Miranda

This is the first time I have read this site and it is fascinating! I was wondering; at 14 degrees of Pisces Uranus has just crossed my natal Jupiter in Pisces (12 degrees) 9th House. So far, the movement of Uranus around my Jupiter has coincided with a book deal and a job on a digital tv channel which specialises in psychic work, so I follow the dance of these two with keen interest!

But I feel the eclipse today will affect the above. I would be to be verv interested to hear your ideas on this.

Thanks for providing this amazing site!

Robert

Hi Miranda - Glad you like my site. Sun in Pisces will illuminate your Jupiter, and your will power applied for a greater good should provide the "charisma" expressed through the Moon in Virgo. The Eclipse could very well show that you're leaving the old Jupiter behind, with new manifestations to come. 9th house rules publishing and media, so go for it! Only one caveat - I used to produce and direct television for a number of years, so just make sure you pay attention to ALL the details in whatever agreements you make.

Liz Kay Forrest O Driscoll

Thank you for this well-balanced perspective. I was shown the present alignments, not having a clue what was going on, when I was 'encouraged' to open up my laptop to a great planetarium programme I found years ago, Stargaze. The instant I saw Leo 'holding' the Moon like a great pearl, and realised it was 'joined with' Regulus, two nights ago, and last night Saturn was 'joined with' the Moon in its turn, I could no longer see the rest of the 'necklace' as being in opposition to these processes. More a stately dance, or unfolding in balance.

I live at a very special place (for me), Castle Matrix in Ireland, and I'm heading there now to look at the sky above. Looking out the window, the sky seems very dark compared to last night, at 19:44 so hope it's a clear night. Liz

PS: the website URL is actually my son's. He passed on 18 days before his 19th birthday, on the 4'th-5th June, 2003 in Benedictine Hospice, Kingston, NY, but manages to get the occasional message through to me by various means! :-)

miranda

Thank you Robert.

Very interesting, I'll keep an eye on the small print!

Am surprised by what you call the charisma of the moon in virgo, as I am used to considering it a chilly distant placement; aloof, though excellent for writing. I'll have to consider it further.

I've added your site to my favourites. There are lots of astrology sites out there, but I find your insights lucid and thought provoking!

mira schiefer

Hi
Robert, my husand is a virgo sun, pisces moon (29 degrees) and virgo rising 0 degrees, needless to say these eclipes, including the one last september have transformed his life in ways that are incredible. Is there any information you can give to him to help him know, for real, that these lifelong addictions he has been hounded with are really coming to an end? He is 58, and is alsoa bit nervous about his saturn return coming soon...any comments on what he should expect? thanks so much...LOVE YOUR SITE!!!! we will stay loyal to your words and your site. thanks! [email protected]

Theresa

Hi,
I am a complete beginner when it comes to astrology, and for some reason have become very excited about last nights lunar eclipes. I am wondering what it will bring for my husband and I. We are both Pieces, my birthday 25 feb 66 and my husbands 3 March 62 (his birthday). Last night seemed like a 'sign' to me. We looked out to 'hopefully' see the eclipse, what a glorious sight! a wonderful clear evening. The eclipse was directly outside our front door and seemed 'magical' to me. I couldn't stop admiring the wonder of it. If you could offer me any insignt or guidence or how I can investigate more I would be very grateful. Many Thanks. Theresa

I dream t of a new house and friends last night, wondering weather we will move down the road or to New Zealand. I,m ok with either.

Robert

Hi all -

I have people in from out of town, so can't really devote much time to the site right now. Soooo...

Hi Liz Kay - My condolences on your son predeceasing you. Joy that you've found your way to the healing you have. You're far enough into the process that I'm sure you have gone deeper than you ever imagined. As you know if you've been to the site for any length of time, I also honor my departed as I believe it's one of the most important things we humans can do. And yes, currently Saturn is teaching some great heart lessons, even if they are sometimes strange and/or difficult due to Neptune. "A stately dance" indeed! I've heard Ireland is beautiful. Kiss the sky for me.

Hi Miranda - You're welcome. The charisma is a function of the Lunar degree of the eclipse, so that term describing a type of magnetism may show in widely varied ways.

Hi Mira - Each comes in their own way and time to points of choice, and even some peculiar choices may ultimately have a beneficial effect down the road. One who is under the beams of Shiva doesn't have the same values, lessons, or dharma as one who is under Brahma, if you know what I mean. That's the joy of diversity, and teaches us points of view we might never consider otherwise. As for the second Saturn return, I'm close enough to know it's time to turn to new things, and close out old forms of mental slavery. I for sure know what I can and cannot live with. I believe it's all about trusting one's wisdom and experience. And I assume you've read my article on the Saturn Return. If not, enjoy! And thanks for expressing your enthusiasm for the site.

Hi Theresa - Like all eclipses, this will remove things by illumination, realization, and polarization in the areas it falls. And endings can portend exciting new developments. This one will influence Pisces for the next year due to falling close to the Sun. Expect practical adjustments wherever the Moon falls in your chart.

Hi rosi - What you ask for is way more than I can answer in a comment stream. Your concern for your daughter is wonderful, though I must admit she has chosen a difficult profession, since the competition is very tough. However, her chart shows she should be able to succeed, and is learning patience and discipline thanks to Saturn.

Hi Kathy - 44 is a vision year, with much learning and teaching and an opening to a new adventure! Enjoy!

lu

hey

Ohmygod i love this site. I am such a cycle person and i really love the eclipses, for all the sadness that they may bring, as well as the path full of light in the end. i broke up with my fiance the Thursday week of the eclipse, i'm taking all the advice and teaching myself what i can and feel no fear about the break up even though i love him. How will the solar eclipse effect relationships, is it going to be a complete contrast to the lunar effect?

Robert

Hi lu - The Solar effect will be related, but different, due to being in a different decan and having different aspects. Sorry you have just been through a breakup, but if they are not the "right" person for you, better to try anew than spend years struggling for something that may or may not be there. We do have a "twin flame" out there somewhere (if they're incarnated!) and so where there's an ability to make a friend who you can love and who can love you, there is happiness, connectedness, and maybe even a partner.

Kimberanne

Hi there. The lunar eclipse is exactly conjunct my natal Uranus in my Virgo/2nd House and 2 degrees from conjunct my natal Pluto. Additionally it is exctly opposing my natal Mercury in my Pisces/8th House and a 4 degree orb of opposing my natal Sun at 9 degrees Pisces and my natal Chiron at 17 degrees Pisces. I'm a little concerned about what this can bring in my life. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Robert

Hi Kimberanne - No doubt an old inner dynamic between your Mercury/Sun opposed to Uranus/Pluto will shut down, and new ways of being that configuration will emerge in your life these next few months. It illuminates your 9th house, expressed through your 3rd. New realizations about 9th house material will yield endings in the old forms of your Virgo.

Kimberanne

Thanks Robert. I have a question though, why would it illuminate my 9th and be expressed in my 3rd? Is it because the solar eclipse occurs in my 9th? I have some exciting things starting to happen that pair my spiritual beliefs with how I make my money and also have to do with community and learning, travel and spiritual beliefs.

Thanks again! I just feel a bit like a cat in a rocking chair factory right now. I have a relationship that I'm not sure where I stand in and it could really go either way. I'm just trying to keep the faith that the higher good will show up soon.

On another note, I also have Transit North Node conjunct my natal Mercury and Chiron right now. Thoughts?

Robert

Hi Kimberanne - After looking again at your previous comment, I realize it should be 8th house, since that's where your Sun and Mercury are. (I read 9 and blipped into 9th house!) You're right, though, about the Solar eclipse in the 9th. The Lunar Eclipse should help you gather what you need to express your Uranus and Pluto in new forms of work and service. Should be good for aquiring assets in inventive ways. And the transiting NN is pulling your Mercury/Chiron into a long term growth pattern.

Lyzette

Hello again Robert,

Question re: the eclipses? If there are no planets in Pisces in my natal chart (although I have Jupiter/Virgo in my 10th house) -- how will I be able to gauge the effects of the upcoming solar eclipse in Pisces. My sun is Taurus/Scorpio rising -- do I look at my solar 5th house? (which in my natal chart I have Aries 1.38 degrees)Please advise.

Robert

Hi Lyzette - Well, I always use equal house systems with Solar charts, for a variety of reasons. So really any given set of aspects impacts the natal chart one way, the Solar chart another way. The aspects Eclipses make show how the energies will shut some things down, while strengthening others. The light of the Eclipse Suns are in your 4/5 houses, and the Lunar eclipse should release something connected to your Jupiter, shutting down an old form while opening you to new ones in the coming months. I believe the coming Solar Eclipse will land in your fourth house, so say sayonara to old childhood memories and other things connected to your early life.

giverny

Hi Robert,I am trying to make sense of my chart and sometimes i just confuse myself so i shall keep it simple. This eclipse has felt very heavy and i got sick is this due to mercury/venus in pisces in the 6th and virgo moon in the 11th??? natal chart. Just wondering if i am on the right track in interpreting things? Aries sun in the 6th also i am taking a while to get better and dont like it!thanks and blessings to you.

Robert

Hi giverny - The recent eclipse should be shining a light on your 6th house planets, vitalizing them with Solar force. It will express through your Moon, stimulated by the Eclipse Moon. I suspect old feelings, old habits, old worries, and old ways of doing your daily life will give way to new forms of Mercury and Venus service to self and others. This eclipse will help you clear out what is no longer useful and the Grand Fire Trine should assist in lighting up the new. It may be that Jupiter and/or Pluto are working purifying expansions/liberations on your Mercury and Venus, depending on where in Pisces they fall.

sam

Hello Robert
Did you really call the Moon in Virgo charismatic. One reference to Moon in Virgo is 'we worry if the Sun will come up in the morning'. I love the charismatic.
I have Chiron 22.28 Leo, Venus 29 Leo, North Node4.17 Virgo all in 4th House with Leo on cusp.
Moon 15.35 Virgo, Sun 17.10,
Mars 25.33, Neptune 29.09 Virgo,
Mercury 13 Libra all in 5th House, Virgo on Cusp. (Mercury is technically in 6th) and naturally South Node Pisces 4.17.
Does this naturally suggest a time of disolution? I would love to experience joy instead of fear.
Thank you Robert
Sam

Larissa

Hi Sam -- I wanted to add, although it is hard to explain, but Moon in Virgo people do seem to have very pleasant and outstanding image shown to the world. I know one Capricorn Sun and Virgo Moon. My ex-husband was Virgo Sun and Virgo Moon, he did bluff his appearance of being sure of himself but actually had great deal of difficulty making decisions. So when I read your comment - I smiled - it is true - Virgos worry a lot. Please enjoy life with joy, do not fear anything. You are very secure in your practicality. I bet peace is so important to you, right? I left my husband, I guess I was too intense for him.

Robert

Hi Sam - Yes, that was the degree of the Moon in the recent Lunar Eclipse! Isn't it great that Virgos now get to be magnetic, compelling, and able to bring order where there is chaos? It looks to me that Pluto is blowing out your generation's Neptune, and the Autumn 2006 Eclipses show that you're having to let go of some old Virgo traits, while demonstrating your perfect expression of others. You're not learning a lot, but you are demonstrating much. You're not really dissolving as much as you are renovating, revolutionizing, and synthesizing parts of the old into a whole new vision of yourself in relationship. Let go of the old Venusian manifestations and you'll reap a whole new crop, perfect for who you've become these past 29 years.

To address both comments, Virgo Moons really, REALLY want to live in a perfect world, and are willing to work hard to make it so. They do follow rules fairly well, but sometimes lack breadth of vision. That creates fussing over the 10,000 things. Still, great disciples if they find a groove to truth, ever willing to serve a greater good (as long as they see its usefulness!)

Sam

Hello Robert
Thank you for insights on Virgo Moon and also you too Larissa and it was great to hear about your experience with a Virgo Moon.
Don't think I would like to be married to a Virgo Moon, my husband is a Taurus Moon which is conjunct my ascendant. I was thinking of Prince William and Kate who both had Cancer Moons. Do you think this would be difficult having someone who was so like yourself emotionally in this way.
Love and blessings
Sam

Robert

Hi Sam - Well, in compatibility it is assumed that a Virgo Moon would get along well with a Sun in an Earth sign or Water sign. As for two people with the same Moon, it could be difficult or it could be like looking in a mirror where each would understand the feelings and needs of the other. It could be a great support if one was missing some "lunar tools," or difficult due to mutual blind spots.

Sam

Thank you once again Robert for your generous time and understanding.
Seems there is so much happening in the heavens regarding the rest of April and May and later. I love reading your articles and check in almost every day.
Kind regards and blessings,
Sam

Alix

Hi Robert, the next total lunar eclipse on August 28th will have the Sun conjunct my Pluto (2nd house and conjunct the north node) and the Moon conjunct my Chiron (8th house and conjunct the south node). Could you help me understand the significance of this apparently very important event?

Robert

Hi Alix - Prepare for purification and enlightened transformation expressing itself as a healing. You should see a period of long term gain ushered in at that time.

Alix

Hi Robert, Thank you. Would you recommend anything in special, apart from meditation? I'd like to cooperate with the healing process, would it help to have an enema or a detox diet a few days before, or is this going to happen in a purely emotional level?

Robert

Hi Alix - I have found that physical changes and changes in diet usually trigger all kind of emotional shifts. Always be gentle with yourself. Never do anything that is too drastic. I would start with a healthy salad diet for a few days, with lots of fruit and vegetable juices in between. Maybe even some steamed beets and carrots. Then if I wanted to go non-solid, I would do juices, herbal cleansing teas with and without lemon and/or ginger for as long as is appropriate to the level of outer activity I was doing, even if just a day. Then I'd move back into solid foods, starting with salads and steamed organics. I have found that soy sauce added to boiled water with vegetable bouillon cubes is a great way to clean and it's not as boring as just water. I've spent whole days doing nothing but watermelon and cherries, or pineapple and oranges, and things like that. "Fasting" and "purification" should not be an extreme exercise.

Alix

Hello Robert, thank you so much for your advise, I'll follow it and start getting prepared for this cleansing the week of the eclipse.

barbara tenney

hello robert,
the lunar eclipse sits conjunct my mc(10) 2pisces,square my north node 01 sag, trine neptune 29 libra, and opposite pluto 29leo(which also has transiting saturn conjunct)is tis major?

barbara tenney

i have just seen that mercury is also conjunct my moon and jupiter(4th) opp my mars which has uranus conjunct(10)as well this eclipse seems to be everywhere in my chart
thanks

Robert

Hi Barbara - Sure. I'll bet you have major change on the move, given what you've already stated here!

clearspot

aloha robert, it was wonderful to hear you on blotalk radio, your ease in speaking and explaining the cosmos both micro and macro have taught me alot and are helping me find larger truths amidst ongoing chaos and spiroling changes. i keepcoming back to this artical because this eclipse was conjunct my solar return, and in some ways i still need recovery and resolution for the changes it brought. i have let go of much in my pisces 7th house, but now it feels empty. i wonder if i will ever again find an apropriate partner for relationship, all efforts on my part these past two years seem to have been futile. will i get another chance for personal love, or just keep on the track of the impersonal aquarian larger vision that this coming eclipse will bring? can you shine some light on the positive energy of this eclipse for me so the dreadful feelings it left me with can be released and transformed, i still struggle for partnership. also this jan 25,'09 eclipse falls on my grandson's solar return,he turns 5, could you guide me to guide him at all? i so appreciate your conciderations, thank you, cindy ( born 03-03-53 6:05 pm columbus ohio)

Robert

Hi Cindy clearspot - Glad you liked the interview. When we get clear about what is appropriate for us and what is inappropriate, embrace self-purification and self-realization techniques, then we start attracting those who are right for us. And even then, respect and affection are two-way streets, and so though we may be ready, another may not be. That's why I always encourage people to cultivate the friendships, since they're the only solid basis for any intimate relationship. A correct embrace of Aquarius traits yields satisfactory Leo manifestations. Saturn is helping you mature your view of yourself in relationships. You should be in much different relational circumstances by March 2010.

As for your grandson, teach him the Golden Rule and the truths that all forms pass away, good and bad, and so we cannot cling to joys and sorrows, but will find many of both as we navigate the ever-changing tides of life. Also that we should always aspire to the highest and best Self expression in material, emotional, mental and spiritual things, and that Love is always the way. Also that there is a lot we cannot like in our world, but we must always be willing to love God, each other, and All-That-Is 24/7 to the best of our ability in the moment. Teach him to forgive the intentional and unintentional rudeness of others, and that even in defeat we grow if we're willing to use our imagination to begin anew. He is a being of profound awareness and sensitivity, and needs to learn how to hang in there, not procrastinate, and not settle for less than the best. He's very capable and should be trained in critical thinking to envision the broadest number of possibilities and where and how they fit together, or not. For him, this life necessitates keeping everything open and above board, and getting over fear-based feelings.
