Today we revisit a crucial factor in astrology, the compatibility of our charts with other charts. There are many ways to approach how we relate to other beings, whether through the composite chart (the midpoints of any two charts) or what is called Synastry, showing how one chart fits into another chart. I also explain why the timing in the Marriage chart is of extreme importance in showing us future trends and crucial points of shift in how that marriage will unfold.

Hi,
Was just wondering if there were any exceptional dates in 2008 for marriage. My daughter is engaged and wants to set a wedding date.
Thanks... CJ

Hi CJ - I realized I need to know where they are in order to know the Asc. Generally speaking the first outstanding day is Sept 1, early morning, but doing a marriage date is much more complicated than most suspect. It also helps to know the two people's charts, since what may look like an affliction in the marriage chart may be exactly describing one or both of the people getting married. And of course, this has gotten beyond what can be done in a comment stream.
Hi CindyFrances - Depending on your chart, good days to move are October 20, 21, 26, 29 (late), 30(pm) and Nov 2.

Hi Robert,
Great site and thanks for all you help! Q: Do 9th house aspects apply to the marriage chart only or do significant synastry aspects that connect in the seventh houses no longer factor into relationship compatiblity.

Hi bruce - All aspects apply to the marriage chart. The 7th is how we respond "generically" to the dance of all relationships, including all marriages, not just the first. The 9th gives us more info about how that particular one will manifest. Think "both-and" rather than "either-or."
