featuring Robert Wilkinson
My friend Michele Meiche at Self In Light recently interviewed me for her Satellite Radio show "Awakenings" to be netcast on the Cosmic Dimensions site this Saturday, Nov 10, at 10pm EST (7pm PST, 3am GMT) and again Sunday, Nov 11, at 1pm EST (10am PST, 6pm GMT). We sure covered a lot of ground in an hour!
Hopefully she did some editing so that it doesn't sound too boring! ;-) We really did cover a lot of material, some astrological, some metaphysical, and wound up with all kinds of food for thought. While many of you have heard some of it before, depending on how long you've known me, it's always good to revisit some core ideas about what makes our times so dynamic and re-image our positioning given what's coming down for the entire world these next 2000 days.
So if you want to hear a couple of metaphysicians cover a wide range of topics, or merely interested in hearing what I sound like, by all means tune in. I realize the Saturday netcast is a bit early for my friends in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, but it should be a decent time if you live in India, the Far East, or Australia. Sunday's webcast will probably be preferable if you're in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, so mark your calendars, have a listen, and remember to visit Michele's site afterwards to let her know you tuned in, as I'm sure she'd appreciate it.
See you in cyberspace!

Looking forward to it! Any chance you discuss Comet Holmes? Given the old idea that comets portend something major (births of kings, etc), I'm very curious about your thoughts on the effects of Holmes on the astrological influences we're seeing, such as whether it gives emphasis to any particular area.

Dear Richard: Thank you for the Ascendent article. Will you some time and discuss your takes on the IC and DC. Or, if you have already, will you give us an URL. Thank you. Regards, Jim

Hi Lorna - Don't know much about Comet Holmes, except that comets are wanderers that sometimes dump particulates into the atmosphere, and apparently (according to Velikovsky) one even caught the Earth in its tail. Will try to research this comet and come up with something relevant.
Hi Jim - Richard? IC is our "anchorage" in existence, our taproot so to speak. Sometimes it's not the same as the sign lower square our ASC, which gives us variations in our themes. DSC is how our ASC exteriorizes and our dance partner in the "I-Thou" dance of interactivity.

Hi Robert, Just to let you know i am still checking in regularly, even though i am not contributing much to the comment stream. I look forward to hearing you on saturday.
Best regards

Hi Aditya - We all have other things to do, so I understand when people have to disappear for awhile. I do the same thing. I just have the benefit of being able to write articles that autopost on whatever day I set up, so there's usually continuity even when I'm on the road or swamped with work. Enjoy the radio show.

Hi Robert, it's Stevo. I was able to catch your show last night. One question. When asked about what you look at in a chart, among many things you mentioned "blind spots". Just curious. What consistencies of aspects or planets have you found to best represent our blind spots in all the charts you've seen over the years?

Hi Robert I am glad I stayed awake for your show. I totally feel waht you have said about the beginning of a new era. The only problem is that my existing relationships are still trying to hold onto the outdated forms of society as they see it. Sometimes I just can't help but let my lower self show, though I really try very hard not to. Your words tonight have given me new hope that I am not alone in this world with my views.

Hi Michele - Well, it sounded okay when I heard it, so of course I'll be back. And at least we won't be in the thick of THREE irrationality zones!
Hi Stevo - Blind spots are usually found in squares and oppositions that we don't handle very well when triggered. They are also found in the planetary energies we haven't turned from dysfunctional to productive. They are also found in void zones that stimulate several planets at once, whether harmonious or frictional.
Hi Aditya - Glad you made it! Yes, old inertias die hard. As long as you're aware of the lower self, then you can work and play with it and transmute the energies, whether after the fact, during the event, or before the fact. And no, you're definitely not alone in this very wired world.

Thanks Robert. Further exploration of "voids" is sort of where I'm at these days. You've posted some real juicy stuff here over the last week. I'll catch up with you on another article. Thank you sir!!
